I had Dr. Bohm for 2 classes. She is very dedicated to her profession and I think you'll find her teaching style very clear and easy to follow.

she is awesome and she is so dedicated to her field, she loves intelligence and she is willing to work with a student. Be on time, be prepared and for goodness don't be rude.

I got all A's in her class, but I had a few more absences than she allowed and she surprised me with an F! It was pretty unprofessional of her,as she never gave me any warning

Dr. Bohm was the BEST professor I had during my time @dccc. She is smart, inspiring, passionate & talented! Exspectations in syllabis are clear & reasonable. Lectures & Discussions are ingaging & extremely interesting. Willing to go the extra mile as long as you are too. Great w/ Students w/ Learning Disabilities. A great asset to teaching!!!!!

Totally breezed through this class. Very straightforward as far as testing goes. Unless you're brain dead or can't grasp the concept of highlighting text, you should be golden. Oh and writing skills help, tool. One of my favorite teachers ever.

I love the class, i think she is a great professor and i am glad i have her for sociology. The class is interesting and her activities really clarify the topics. She is so sweet too !

Bohm is a really good professor. She's very relaxed and available if you need ANYTHING. I agree with some of the other users about her grading and tests. BEWARE! She is a WACKED grader and her tests and what she teaches/reviews barely coordinate. It's not that I am lazy and didn't study, she's a little tough. Lighten up Bohm.

I liked Dr. Bohm and this class a lot. The subject matter was very interesting. Her tests were essay and not very hard (although I heard she was switching to multiple choice?). The only part of the class I didn't like was that the final project was a group project. She's intelligent, helpful and nice.

Dr. Bohm is great...She's not only kind and intelligent, but she definitely opens up your mind to some new concepts. She exemplifies the kind of person we need in this world through the teaching of her course. PLUS there isn't that much reading in the class and her tests aren't too hard...

Dr. Bohm is a good teacher. She is easy to talk to and she is extremely down to earth. I would take 1 of her classes again. Her test can be a little hard but she gives you the materials you need to study.

Eh. The class is pretty easy, but the teaching style is kind of boring. She is nice, and will answer your questions. Made me feel stupid one time I asked a question, that bugged me, she's a little odd. But if you're truly interesting in the subject you will get the information you need.

I took her sociology class first, and she is an amazing teacher. if you want to learn something that will stick with you for the rest of your life, take her. make sure you go to all of her classes though, and take a lot of notes. i took her diversity class which is a bit harder, but i got an A in both courses.

The first paper was hard and she was tough on grammer and I was discouraged but as the class went on I found the subject matter interesting because of her lectures and began to LOVE the class. She makes you work hard but by the end I enjoyed it and it wasn't hard to get an A. If you want to take a class and actually learn something take this class!

I loved Dr Bohm so much!! I took every single one of her classes and consider her probably one of the most influential people in my life. Her classes make you look at life from every aspect and she is there to help you every step of the way.

Dr. Bohm is so sweet and cute, and I wanted to give her a big hug everytime I saw her! Her tests are hard, but she will be more than happy to work with you to help you succeed. Very patient and kind, and though I found this class difficult, I would take it again if I had to.

She is a difficult teacher, but pushes you to succeed. I had her for Experiences in Diversity and learned a lot about myself and others through that class, If her and Prof. Bellini got together, they could seriously stop all the ignorance that goes on in the world. She is an amazing woman, and a real sweetheart too

Dr. Bohm is thorough in her teaching, held me accountable for the work, was entirely fair, and exceptionally available for assistance at any time. I would take a class with her any time and highly recommend her.

Took her Gen soc and Diversities class. ANYONE that downs her obviously thought "easy" grade. She's really nice! Class is discussion based w/material that is read from the text and also many others online. Some readings are hard to understand but some short, and are VERY interesting. U will definetly EARN ur grade in herclass/and want to learn more

Dr. Bohm is awesome. I just left her Experiences in Diversity class with a clearer outlook on life. If you attend class, do your readings and use critical thinking skills, you'll be fine. I noticed people who didnt do as well, couldn't seem to accept experiences and facts unless it personally affected them. Open your mind if you take this class!

People who do not succeed in this class either do not thoroughly read the material or refuse to acknowledge that there are differences between people based on societial/governmental policies.Don't fall into either of those categories and you'll be fine. Regardless of personal opinion, be open to facts.

Dr. Bohm is amazing. Im sorry but if you cant pass her class something is wrong. All you have to do is show up, LISTEN and STUDY!! A lot of people thought her tests were hard, i got an A on every one...She is very clear and lets you know what you need to study. Great teacher

Dr. Bohm is a great professor! She is very specific in her directions for your assignments and what she expects of you. At first, this was overwhelming but then it really helped to know exactly what she expected. She is very motivating and helpful! Great Prof! I highly recommend her!

Dr. Bohm is awesome. This class is definitely worth the time and money. She truly cares about the success of her students unlike other professors. I would definitely recommended selecting her as your instructor for Sociology. I might have passed with a C average but class was very fun!

You learn a whole lot from her lectures, but be prepared to read! I took her online class and it was very hard. Every week there's an assignment due coupled with a long list of reading material. Exams are extremely detailed; she goes to the bottom of every little detail. If you don't do the work or are an (A) student, trust me you will fail.

Professor Bohm is a tough teacher to take but it helps if your transferring to a four year college.

At first I was intimidated by syllabus, and I will say it is daunting in some aspects. However that being said Dr. Bohm is an individual who wants to see the best for her students. She has helped me out many times and actually has prepared me for what to expect from an University as far as work and tests go. I have nothing but respect for Dr. Bohm.

Dr. Bohm is a good teacher. I took this class online during the summer. She responds to emails fairly quick, and gives great feedback after assignments. She is a tough teacher, but you will learn a lot. She really wants her students to learn the material and be able to apply theories to real life experiences. Not an easy professor, but rewarding.

I was intimidated when this course started. I just finished this class in 8 weeks and I have learned alot. Her tests are fairly easy if you read the material. I love this professor, and I love her strategy to talk about the injustice against people of color. I like the fact that she challenges her students to learn. We need more Adrianas Bohms!!!!

Dr. Bohm is an amazing prof. I have taken every class she offers at DCCC. She is serious about her subject and expects that her students are also. I highly recommend her esp if you are planning on going to a University. For those who just take classes to get an easy A, 10dont take her and waste her time. She is dedicated and cares for her students

Dr. Bohm is VERY EXPLICIT in her expectations. She is very knowledgeable in her field. She often references outside material to supplement the information she presents in class. If taking her Diversity class, try to pick a subject that presents early because the project can be used as an outline for your only paper (and its 10 pages).

I took Dr. Bohm during the summer session. She was an amazing professor. She is extremely personable and positive. She is a tough, but fair professor. She responds to any questions you have promptly. If you put in the work, you will do fine. I would highly recommend Dr. Bohm, and would take another class taught by her.

very great and caring professor. i feel like i am close with professor bohm because she is very understanding and smart. She makes the class very fun. although her quizzes are difficult make sure you read and study for tests. she does allow tests to be taken at home which is easier but she is a great professor, highly recommend her

At first, I was very nervous; the subject matter sounded difficult and I've read that the professor was tough. By the end of the semester, I was completely glad I took the class. Professor Bohm was caring, very informative, and showed a passion for the subject matter you don't normally get in a college class. One of the best teachers I've had.

Professor Bohm is an extraordinary professor. I truly cannot say enough positive things about her. She is kind, caring, compassionate, and overall wonderful. I have never had such a kindhearted professor as Professor Bohm. She responded to all of my work and quizzes and wrote encouraging, positive words that really motivated me in the class.

I had Dr. Bohm for the accelerated 7-week intro to sociology course and really enjoyed her class. A decent amount of assignments each week. Taking notes and fully reading chapters will be necessary if you want an A. Super kind professor, left encouraging messages after each exam! Highly recommend.

Professor Bohm is very nice and will leave nice encouraging comments on your work. Weekly work consists of reading, assignments and a test which can take a while to complete each week but the work is posted in advance. There are a few papers too. work is time consuming but if you do it I think u will do well in the class!

First off AMAZING WOMAN! Took her expInDiv and there was a lot of reading very time-consuminG, however, she is a fair grader and cares about your grade. She also makes herself very available to students. Tests are hard some questions could have many meanings but there is only one right answer(Very important) No extra credit, so turn work in on time

Mostly multiple choice, not too hard if you pay attention to and remember the info in the textbook. Short answer questions take thought, but not too long. Make two videos on own sociological experience. Not harsh grader if you follow directions and put in some effort.

Professor Bohm has the kindest heart ever!I don't get the "awful" ratings when she is the nicest one, so caring and there to teach and help everyone! SOC110 is very interesting; I learned a lot from it!Did I mention she offers lunch some Thursdays? YES, she feeds her students too, for free! What more can you ask?Ignore the haters;they're just lazy!

Tests are open book, use online textbook to search keywords if you are stuck. The lectures are different than the textbook, which is what the exams are based on. Take this class with the intent to LEARN, not just to get a grade. Cares about students and passionate about her subject. Very very educational.

Professor Bohm is an outstanding teacher, although the workload seemed a bit overbearing at first but once you get into the rhythm of the course work and understand what she looks for when grading assignments that require you to engage in specific topics outside the workbook then passing is a breeze. I would definitely take her class again!
