She is super nice and wants her students to succeed. The tests are more difficult than class is, so if you study all the extra materials she gives you, you will be fine. A lot of people feel rushed on the tests, so do the short answers first. Super easy and nice, definitely recommend! Easy A!

There are 3 test including the final. She lectures everyday. Tests are exactly like lectures, easy peasy. Attendance is not required, slides are on blackboard. Super nice and energetic. Office can get a little busy. Highly recommended for those who do not like econ. DONT BUY THE TEXTBOOK, DID NOT USE IT ONCE!

Vamosiu is a great professor to have. She's extremely helpful and makes the material easy to grasp by giving relatable examples. Tests aren't hard but make sure you do the short answer first so you don't run out of time. I didn't open the textbook once. Everything you need is online or in class. Definitely the best teacher for this class at USD.

You will learn so much from Professor V. Her lectures are informative and she provides numerous explanations for everything. She gives a review from the previous class and the beginning of each class for about 20 minutes. Tests can be super difficult if you don't study, so review the old tests she puts up on blackboard and you should be fine.

Very interesting, entertaining lectures with many examples, industry cases and real life news one can easily relate to and better understand the material. She is amazing at explaining new concepts and then showing how to apply them in real life problems consumers or producers face. She is always available for help, always encourages questions!

Dr Vamosiu is a great mentor! she recently got her PH.D so she knows how students feel and the stress they face. Best professor ever!

Dr Vamosiu understands students. From day 1 she put us in groups of 3-4 people so we can study together. She knows how hard this class is and is willing to go far and beyond to help us. I hated this class at the beginning since its very confusing and counter intuitive but after the first few weeks I grew to love it!

The course material isn't too challenging and neither are her tests. In the beginning of the semester, I used to read the book but I found it redundant since she covered same material in her lectures. This class should just be called "common sense 101"

Most challenging class in the major, hands down! Yet Adrianna is amazing at breaking down the hard concepts and applying them to real life data and examples. Amazing professor, always able to explain difficult concepts, never moves on until all understand and uses many examples and in class exercises. She will prepare you for every quiz and exam. Over all the class is pretty easy. Make sure you pay attention because once she knows your name (and she will learn your name no matter what) she will call on you at random. She can be slightly passive aggressive when it comes to answering questions but I don't think its intentional.

Probably the easiest professor at USD. You learn stuff too! I believe the class average was a B+. Two tests, a final, and a paper. Attendance is not required and everything is online including her past tests. People showed up only for the tests and still got an A. This is a good class to take to help your GPA

She has the gift of explaining all the complicated material in very easy to grasp terms, always provides data examples to show how it applies and prepares you beyond well for senior sem and your first job. There is more math in the course than expected, but she walks you trough it all and relates the numbers to the decision a consumer or produced should make based on them. This is the only data class you will ever need! She covers everything from the other two data classes 385/6 MUCH BETTER, and then extra topics. She has weekly data projects with real life data, so this class will prepare you for your job! Everything is laid out since day one (due dates, assignments, lecture topics) and she is always on schedule!

Prof V made the most dreaded class in the major an AMAZING experience that I will carry with me forever. She helped us get from barely being able to understand a journal article to getting our own data, doing our own analysis and writing our own article ! And she was there EVERY STEP OF THE WAY and everything she taught us in 370 carried over :)

She knows so much about all economics topics and she is so helpful and kind. Senior sem was not the scary class I heard about from others in previous semesters. She is there helping and guiding every part of the project and will offer unconditional support and feedback always. She grades everything very fast and her comments are really insightful.

She knows how to run an online class: got us in study groups early on based on schedules & comfort with calculus; had quizzes & hw weekly so we won't fall behind and tons of office hours. She was available for 1-1 times around the clock, including 11 pm her time or 5 am her time (i was taking the class in a different time zone). Simply outstanding

This is a very hard class, with lots of Calc. Prof V is absolutely AMAZING at breaking everything down into logical steps and adjusting the pace based on how the students are doing. She stops every few minutes for questions, redoes problems from the beginning even if just a few students have questions on the method and is always available for help!

She teaches everything logical, with examples from real life and math, so you don't e get need to memorize, because everything makes sense! She is also a career role model to me: one day she had to take her husband to the hospital. Instead of cancelling class,she taught from the hospital hallway without any hicups so we wouldn't miss out! Respect!

She lays out the whole course the first day and sticks to all the dates. The class is VERY well organized, she explains the material INCREDIBLY well and does many examples after each concept. What you see in class, is what you see on the HW, quizzes and test, no surprises. She posts step by step solutions for the HW/quiz/test right after due date!

By far the most useful class i have ever taken and easily the best professor in my college courses. I didn't know it at the time, but what i learned with her came in handy in EVERY single job interview. This is the hardest, most technical class I have ever taken. Prof V is super organized, has an incredible ability to explain everything so clearly and to break down the hard methods into easy to grasp small steps. Professor Vamosiu was the nicest professor I have ever had. She is a ray of sunshine. In-class lectures are very straightforward and not difficult, but there is a lot of homework using Stata which can be extremely time consuming and are graded on correctness. Most people do well in the class, I struggled a bit.

Great professor, one of my favorite if not my favorite professor at USD. The reviews do not lie definitely take her! She's super nice, goes to any length to make sure you understand the material.
