Very good teacher! But it is really up to you to pay attention and learn. If you do your homework each night then you will understand what she is talking about in the next class.
She's a really good teacher. Really understanding and willing to work with you. Very helpful and very clear...explains everything well. If you do the work, you'll get it. I am not apt. to math at all and I am doing very well. Will take her for Int. Algebra. Highly recommended!
She was a awsome teacher. she really tries to sink the work n your head. She is super helpful and if you need extra attention she always makes tme for you either outside of class or she come in early. i never understood math before i had her. she is soo nice and fair.
Very nice woman. Always putting the students first. Best Math teacher i have ever had. She is very undstanding and her tests are not bad at all. She even gives some extra credit once in a while. Have to be organized though there are notebook checks.
Excellent teacher.very nice and explains everything very clear.Could not ask for a better math teacher.Get a 3 ring binder and keep it in order with the homework assigned and class notes.
Same as everyone else said. Really nice, so understanding, wants everyone to do well. I am not apt to math at all! I went into the class thinking it would be horrid...she actually made me like math some. Highly recommended! I am taking her for Intermediate Algebra as well next semester.
Good teacher, teaches the basics, I took this class to recall the lost knowlege from highschool and I don't think that there is someone better than her to teach this class.
She can and is willing to help everyone understand. Math is not my fav. subject, but as long as I did hw and went to every class, I did great. I got a B!
great teacher, had a lot of notes, but actually made algebra easy to understand!
Adrianne Morelli is an awesome teacher; She made learning basic algebra fun and easy. She answered every question I had and everyone else’s. I would strongly recommend trying to get in one of her classes; you will succeed in learning math in her class. Thanks for providing such a great learning environment Adrianne!!!!
one of the few teachers who are in the career to actually teach. If you are unsure of things, she stops in the middle of what she was going and explains until you understand. She's a great teacher, and I HIGHLY suggest her.
Best teacher ever taken! She was great and very helpful. Do the homework and ask questions and you'll do alright.
Great professor! Great at lecturing the materials and is very helpful. Just study hard, attend class, and do all your homework and you'll do just fine. Higly recommended!!
Had for Intermediate Algebra and all I can say is that she is extremely helpful and helps anyone who is having difficulty understanding the chapter materials. Great lecturing and very friendly! If you want to pass this class with flying colors, then I recommend you choose her.
Ms. Morelli is very helpful and does many examples on the board to help students understand the material. She also answers homework questions at the beginning of class. Homework is completed online through CourseCompass. I would take her again if given the opportunity.
She has absolutely no idea what in God's name she is talking about. She asks us questions on how to do a problem and I left every class wondering why I was wasting my money on someone who doesn't even know what she is teaching. If you want to take a Math course, go right ahead, just don't take it with her.
Morelli is nice. Easy class, although sometimes has no idea what she is talking about and blames it on the course. No tolerance on make-up tests. I had a family member in the hospital and she didn't let me make it up but I used it as a drop grade. She is understandable. I actually looked forward to the class.
Also, she makes you buy a book and the course compass code which costs about $70 together, even more separately. Never ever used the book, and course compass about three time. That angered me! She tells us to do homework for the textbook but never checks it and we don't receive a grade :(
not very clear while teaching the lessons
Honestly jumps around doesn't seem to clear and makes you buy two things you hardly use..hated her
She doesn't know much about what shes talking about but shes a sweet teacher. She's understanding if you need to miss a class. She acts like a blonde though! Shes fun!
Worst Math teacher. She doesn't even know herself what she is teaching. She constantly looks confused and cannot even answer your questions. If you need help in Math I do not recommend her. She is really sweet and kind just not good at teaching..
I really liked her class! She is a sweet teacher.Yes,she wants you to attend her class every time and takes off the points for the missed ones, but she has a point! 99% of material is explained in class!Tests are very doable, most of them are based on the practice tests material,so the only way you won't succeed is you won't do anything
Shes very nice and sweet! shes very reasonable! i would take her again for math courses. she gives out a review before each math test so you know whats on the test.
I did not like her. She was very jumpy and unclear. She is a nice woman but is not a good teacher. At all.
This prof was flexible, agreeable, easy to get ahold of prompt and professional. She allowed multiple types of tests including open note, take home, and online. She's not ditzy, quite sharp actually. She's got a good memory and is prompt with handing back graded matieral. She's good with emailing you back.
Amazing teacher, shes a little fast paced but shes clear. very helpful and a fair grader. I really enjoyed taking her class.
She is all over the map and has no idea what shes talking about. She constantly repeats herself and asks the class what she was talking about. I find it very hard to follow along because of how rediculous fast she goes through with everything without explaining the key details. I would definitely not recommend taking her class.
By far the most boring classes I have ever taken in my life. She is a very kind lady, but the class is horrific. She tries to help, but it was tough. Good luck. Make sure to print out her notes, dont buy the textbook just access code, and bring your laptop to class for tests.
I really enjoyed her. She is very nice and understanding. If you pay attention and ask questions, you will do fine on her tests. She drops the lowest test grade, which is always good. I didnt have a problem with her. I really enjoyed her class and did learn things. Shes a good teacher no matter what anyone has to say about her.
Using my math labs is torture when you genuinely need help and your teacher can't help you. She was very nice but completely scattered when teaching. I didn't care about what the morning class was doing. Said uhh a lot when trying to sort herself out. Rather would've taken her online so I didn't have to deal with attending that boring class.
Had for Stat 2 and she has no idea what shes doing. She takes long pauses during lectures to make sure shes correct, she forgets to bring materials (calculator, powerpoints, tests) to class, wastes 30+ mins on personal stories, she often says "I don't know how to this part" when teaching. Don't her class if you cant teach yourself or get tutored.
She was always very difficult to follow and often confused herself. I would not recommend taking her class.
Great teacher! Be ready to study! Your grade is up to you and how much work you're willing to put in! If you put in the work then it's an easy A, if not you'll have trouble the grade is entirely reliant on you.
I wasn't sure how this class would be based off of the mixed reviews. However, I found Mrs. Morelli easy to understand, and she is very reasonable with assignments. I've always hated math but I got an A. Just stay on top of the work and you'll be fine, even if math isn't your thing. Going to class is a must! Don't fall behind on work & it's not bad
I think it was her first time teaching this course. She seemed confused most of the time and didn't give good explanations for most of the topics. If you're willing to teach yourself then she is a generous grader but if you want an instructor to help you actually understand the subject then avoid her like the plague.
Professor Morelli displayed her wealth of knowledge in statistics. She is very kind and understanding. She is very reasonable and fair. Stat does not always come easy and she was always willing to help us and go over our questions. She was a great teacher. I hope to have her again in the future.
Nice enough. However, she is very confusing w/disjointed lectures. Difficult to follow and unorganized. She gets her own problems wrong and has you check her work -- annoying if you copy down problems to reference later. Tons of HW in MyMathLab, and she assigns pop quizzes on a semi-weekly basis. If you struggle with understanding math: AVOID HER.

WASTE OF MONEY TIME AND GPA... I REPEAT DO NOT TAKE HER FOR MATH-125 all she does is copy from her notes that she have on white board and when ever you ask her question she will get all confused and then waste good 10-15 trying to argue with you. Lot's of homework on mymathlab. if you wan't to pass this class you have to work hard on your own.
Please anyone taking her for Math-125 avoid her. Taking her you will be wasting money and time. She is really Hard core grade at any test, also so much homework on mymathlab. she is a teacher but do not know how to teach at all. when you ask something she will question you and then she will question herself.
If you have a difficult time understanding math, Morelli's class is a challenge, to put it lightly. Her lectures are overwhelmingly unorganized & boring and because of that it's tough to learn from her directly. You have to be willing to put in the time to study/learn on your own outside of class. You must prepared to do the homework and study!!!
If you want an A in her class you really either have to study all the time, or you have to know it from prior experience. She doesn't know that much it seems. I felt like I was smarter than her in my class. You really need to work for it.
Skip Class otherwise you not gonna pass. if you missed any homework then you are done at the end of class having D,D+ or C . Even she don't know the precalc and starts teaching and spoils students fees and semester for the math class.
Professor Morelli would spend the whole class on 1-2 problems, which would be fine if she herself did not always get the problems wrong. She would finish her problems that should not take an hour and 15 minutes and then ask us what she did wrong and struggle to figure it out herself. She should go back to school.
Professor Morelli is AMAZING. She's very helpful and always there if students ever need help. She likes to explain problems step by step. She actually cares and wants her students to do well. Also, a very chill and funny person, makes corny jokes sometimes.
would not recommend taking this professor, unless you enjoy basically teaching yourself the various topics. used powerpoint slides as lecture notes which were basically no help as she only went over exactly what was on the slides. when asking a question about a topic she tends to question herself on how to do the problem. not the best teacher.
Here's the deal: she's a nice lady; however, she was simply not born to teach. Frequently disorganized, doesn't seem to understand the subject very well, and sometimes literally asks you to repeat yourself because she was "spacing out." Like what? Lots of MyMathLab hw. I found myself having to relearn the material on my own far too often.
Nice teacher but not the best at teaching. If you do all the homework online you should be able to do well on tests. Only used mymathlab and no textbook. Pop quizzes are a chunk of your grade so don't miss class. The teacher is also really lenient and you can get extra credit and push back test dates (for the whole class) if needed.
she's a very nice teacher, but gets mixed up on problems and answers when she teaches. and then the students had to correct her. she' all right. she's also unique, too.
Professor Morelli seems very unorganized. She also takes days to respond to a simple question. She says that she is available to help, but it's not very often. There is a lot of homework due, but if you study hard you can definitely pass with an A.
Expectations are clear from the beginning. Must work on your own. Homework is a MUST!!
(IM STILL IN THE CLASS) SHES TERRIBLE!!!! YOU WILL HAVE TO PRETTY MUCH TEACH YOURSELF EVERYTHING. SHE HAS NO CLUE WHAT SHE IS TALKING ABOUT. YOU WILL HAVE TO FIND HER MISTAKES. SHE DOESNT WARN YOU ABOUT TESTS AND QUIZZES GOD FORBID YOU MISS A DAY AND BOOM YOU FIND OUT THERE WAS A TEST THAT DAY. SHE IS A GOOD PERSON JUST A BAD TEACHER.
Most boring lectures I've ever attended. Very nice lady though.
Nice lady, very bad teacher. You must teach yourself and she often contradicts herself. She never lets you know about tests (which are 70% of your grade) and again, you'll have to most likely teach yourself
She is a pretty good teacher. She can be disorganized but she is clear when it comes to grading and when things are due. She always lets you know when you have a quiz. There is a lot of online homework, so make sure to do it in advance. I would take Morelli again. You have 15 quizzes and she drops your 5 lowest quiz grades.
Professor Morelli is a very nice lady, but teaching is just not her thing. She is disorganized often and she always seems confused. I found myself reteaching stuff and struggling. The class isn't super hard but the homework is crucial.
She is a nice woman, but a horrible teacher. She'll barely review a topic and it doesn't reflect the homework. When you inquire about homework, she is clueless to what the homework questions are and is very unorganized. She avoids communication outside of class. If you are not strong at math, I highly advise waiting for a better teacher.
The workload is definitely a lot especially when balancing full-time work commitments and another class. The professor is not responsive and you are pretty much on your own to teach yourself. She is not accessible for help on concepts. As an online student, it is frustrating because online learning has its challenges as is.
This was one of the worst classes Ive ever taken. Dont get me wrong shes a nice woman but as a professor is not so great. Most of the time her explanations were extremely confusing, she was very disorganized and often rushed through each chapter without even making sure her students understood the concepts. She Often did problems incorrectly too
I took her online MATH115 course and I spent over 300 hours easy, on homework. You have to teach yourself the information or you wont learn. 2 test weighted 60% of the grade. This class was extremely difficult.
She was one the most caring professors. She helped me because I struggled throughout the semester since I am older and I have not done math in years. She helped find me a tutor and communicated with him. Because of her I gained so much confidence in being back in school. If you take her communication is key and that goes with any professor.
I took elementary statistics with Morelli and I've never been more confused in my LIFE. She spends the entire class lecturing and introducing new topics, but fails to explain how to do them. Don't take this class if you struggle with math. You're going to end up teaching yourself things. I had to drop out just so I didn't get an F.
She is really a good person but teaching is not for her. She doesn't know what she is teaching. You will have to do a self-study the whole semester. Even though she is open to questions, she can neither answer them nor get back to you. She lacks confidence and stutters while teaching & when asked questions. Very confusing on tests and assignments.
A very nice lady, but not a very good teacher. Unless you are capable of teaching yourself, take somebody else. Be prepared to spend hours on homework. There are only 3 tests and they are worth 50% of the grade.
Don't take her class unless you're willing to teach yourself the ENTIRE course. Nice lady and willing to extend deadlines, but doesn't teach. Also takes days to reply to emails. There's 3 homework assignments and a quiz for all 11 chapters covered, 4 tests and a research paper. Wouldn't have been so bad work wise if she had taught the material.
Never take an online class with this woman. Completely useless in helping students out with the homework modules, barely seemed like she knew what she was doing. I cried almost every-time I had to take an online quiz out of frustration. She also didnt mention our data project till the day it was due, and made little accommodations due to corona.
Professor Morelli is great and will take her time with u
If you are taking online class, the professor is very hard to get a hold of. If you are good at teaching yourself statistics--this might be the perfect class for you. But if you are not skilled in math this may be insanely difficult. Just know what you are getting yourself into..
Easily the worst prof I have ever had. Do EVERYTHING in your power to not take a class with this woman. This class single handedly destroyed my mental health, I cried every time I even had to think about completing an assignment. Basically expect to teach yourself EVERYTHING, even if you do ask for help.
DO NOT PICK THIS PROFESSOR. Ive never cried so much during a semester. You have to teach yourself the entire course. Theres gonna be stuff on the homework and quizzes that werent in the chapter in the textbook. Youll never be able to get ahold of her. I had to buy a whole different textbook just to understand the material. This class ruined me.
The course was beyond difficult and help was nowhere to be found. Grading was always way behind and therefore made moving forward very hard. I would not ever take a class with this professor again. Maybe some can learn without real guidance, but it clearly isn't me.
I took a zoom class with Morelli this spring, and I struggled with the low level of expertise she has on the subjects. When students ask questions, she really doesn't know how to answer the questions. For the midterm and final we use Proctor U, and she just has no idea how to use the service or get us prepped for it. Steer clear good at math!
I would not recommend taking this teacher AT ALL!! She responds weeks later or the day of your quiz or exams. You can turn in 50 assignments and it won't do anything for your grade. Majority of the class is based off your quiz and exams. No make up work or extra credit is given. Poor Job!
DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER. She doesn't teach her courses at all and she responds very late to emails and messages. You basically have to teach yourself the course. Majority of your grade is from your Exams / Finals. I did good on my quizzes and assignments and yet barely had a C average in the course. I recommend taking anyone else besides her.
She taught straight out of the textbook, which may have been OK if the textbook didn't only have the most basic examples. There were also often things on the quizzes we hadn't gone through yet. Luckily for me, I had taken this class before in high school. If I had been new to the material, I would have been completely lost with her teaching method.
The class itself wasn't that bad, it just doesn't seem like she knows math, the whole course was taught straight from a slideshow. I learned more from example problems in the homework.
so much homework per week with barely any points for how much your doing. her videos if you take online do not help. learned more from youtube. tests were majority of points and hard
This professor has absolutely no idea what she is doing. She asks the class questions about content she shoukd be teaching us. I have never been more frustrated with a teacher in my whole entire life. She does not know how to teach at all whatsoever. Do not take her for any class.
Honestly this was the hardest class I've ever taken, though that's my bad for taking an online math. The course was hard in general though, the amount of homework was brutal and worth no points basically as the tests were worth 70% of your grade. But I will say, this professor is a good teacher in her office hour zooms and is very understanding.
The tests are most of your grade, so if you fail one, it's hard to get your grade back up to an A or B. Also she gives so much homework and you pretty much have to teach yourself the course.
even if you complete all the homework assignments, you wont pass the class unless you pass all the exams , which are worth 70 percent of your grade. i do not recommend taking this professor, i did all the assignment but did not do well on the exams, so my final grade was an F. No extra credit offered.
Did not make any sense while teaching. She spoke for her self and never gave great examples or a real help on math practice. Even when we did the aleks. The problems that we did didn't make sense to the chapter that we were on. I personally don't think she can teach.
Don't take this professor for online courses. You are basically in no man's land. She doesn't update the course materials under modules. Much of it is not relevant for the tests. There were questions on the tests that weren't on the test review. Some chapters were missing the video lectures. You are setup to fail. You have to teach yourself.
I think a lot of the previous reviewers aren't quite sure what online classes entail Its supposed to be self-paced, you are supposed to to learn the material after watching the lectures or reading the online textbook I took the time to go to her office hours and she was nice enough to give me partial credit on exams/quizzes because I had my work
Professor Morelli's class was challenging, but not helpful. Lectures felt unprepared, and most work was on ALEKS, which didn't aid learning. Grades relied heavily on exams. She solved problems without explaining steps, leaving me to teach myself the material. The course was frustrating and unproductive.
As long as you do the assignments and pass your tests with a 65 or higher you will be good lol
I didn't wear my seatbelt on my way to this class because it was so bad. So test heavy and extremely long tests. Confusing lectures. I wouldn't be surprised if half the class failed. I don't recommend.
