For those who hate math and 120 is as far as you need to go - she is AWESOME. Goes step by step with easy understanding - helps with calculator issues - projects her voice - gives multiple examples of applying what was taught. Extremely fair. If she taught Calc - I'd take another math. Summer session is/was awesome -fast pace but least miserable
Awesome professor. Don't even have to go to class just go for the exam. Homework is online and is super easy. You can do it until you get a 100. Exams are easy and short. She gives it off the practice tests and tells you what is gonna be on it.
not very hard class, just have to keep up with the homework. she is a great professor. notes are understandable and she is very helpful. tests aren't too bad either. i wish i could have her for future math classes.
I highly recommend Prof. Prokosch for Math 120. She explains everything in a clear way that makes math somewhat enjoyable. She's a lil hottie too.
She is a really great teacher. I got a bad grade, but its my own fault. I would reccomend her to anyone who has to take 120. I didnt want to go to college because I'm so bad at math... she made me not mind it so much.
I took her during the summer because math is not a strong subject for me and wanted the extra time. However, because of her methods of teaching I passed the class and understood every part of it. Thank You!
Adrienne is the $#@*!!! I do believe she has ruined my expectations for math professors in my future math classes
If math is not your strong subject, I strongly suggest this class. Adrienne explains things very simply, slow, and she is super helpful. Showing up to class in not mandatory, just getting your homework in every class is. Tests are really easy if you go over practice tests. One of the best math teachers I have ever had :)
Awesome teacher!! I hate math, but she was very helpful and made the class fun. Explains things clearly and her study guides for tests are very useful. If math isn't your strong subject I would recommend her.
I HATE math, but loved this teacher. I took it the previous semester with a different professor and failed, but Adrienne was very helpful and explains things very clear. Not condescending in the least bit, as can be the case with other math teachers. She also offers many extra credit options. If math is not a good area for you, take Adrienne!
She was nice and the study guides were helpful, but I personally found her to be a little too awkward.
She is super helpful and explains everything clearly, but class can be boring sometimes. Attendance in the lab is worth 10% of your grade, and the TA usually just goes over the homework that is due soon and answers questions. Tests are multiple choice and super easy.
Her teaching style is very clear. While math isn't my strongest area of study, she kept me interested in coming to class.
awesome teacher! she knows what she is talking about. i would highly recommend her.
Excellent instructor. I had not had a math class in over 18 years, though I love the subject. She made it easy, fun and relevant to the real word.
go to class and you'l pass. good luck getting a TA that speaks English well.
She explains everything ten times and then some more. Pretty slow paced if you took the class in high school, and can get 100% on the homework even if you don't come to class. TA's don't speak english well. Tests are 20Q multiple choice and EASY. Recitation attendance is worth 10%. I would recommend her.
Adrienne is the best math teacher I have ever had! He TA on the other hand is bad, cant even speak english. Just go to class, recitation class, and do your homework and you will for sure get an A. Quizes are in the recitation class and usually consist of 3 multiple choice questions, really easy! TAKE THIS CLASS!
I am an awful math student, but Adrienne made math SO easy to understand.
A very clear teacher and really nice.
She does her job really well. Everything is explianed in plain English and not passing her class is hard to do.
This teacher is amazing! She is young and has control of her class. If you have any problems with the material, attend her office hours and she will help you understand it.
prof prokosch is an amazing teacher. she explains all her material very well and provides a lot of examples to learn the material. very easy A. if you want an A then take her class!!!
EXCELLENT teacher!! I absolutely hate math, but she made everything extremely clear and easy to understand. Lots of examples given in class.
Adrienne is THE best math teacher I've ever had! She's very clear and organized in her teaching style and not intimidating if you have a question. She also earned my respect b/c she tells the noisy people in class to quiet down -thanks Adrienne!!! Of course, you have to work hard, but she's always willing to help if you need it! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
I really enjoyed Adrienne's class. Lectures can be a bit boring if you already know the subject, but she always tries to keep you interested in learning. I would highly recommend her to anyone that needs a math course at UNR.
great teacher
I HIGHLY recommend this teacher. She cracks a joke at the beginning of every class to cheer everyone up, and she is very easy to listen to as well as understand. She's cute as hell and very nice. Even if you suck at math, you will leave knowing all you can learn for that math class. She makes class enjoyable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Best math teach @ UNR
She is a GREAT teacher. I would highly recommened her to anyone who is going to take a math class. She is young but handles herself very well. there are 4 tests throughout the semester. The TA was HORRIBLE and he ended up confusing the students more if they had questions. But she is awesome teacher so take her!
I had Prokosch for Math 120 and the subject material was so easy I rarely went to class (attendance is not mandatory). All of the homework is online with unlimited tries, so I just did the homework online and showed up to class to take the tests (exactly like the practice tests) This is a very easy A!
EASY!!!!! She knows what she is talking about and if you need any help she is willing to stick after class.
DO NOT BUY THE TEXTBOOK! I spent 120 on mine and didn't open it once! All your homework is online in Course Compass, very easy. She's an incredible teacher. She's always making sure everyone understand and is always willing to help out. Take her if you can!
Take her! She is so helpful and nice. She knows her stuff and really helpful. She is not a nerdy math teacher put still loves what she does and you can see that. Do the homework and the study guides and get an A in the class. She has attitude which can come off as rude but you grow to ignore or like it. Overall, don't like math take her class!!!!!
Finally, a math teacher who has personality AND speaks english! I enjoyed her interaction with the class, her jokes, and the way she explains problems so well. She responds to emails promptly, makes herself readily available for office time, and genuinely seems to care about the success of her students. Probably the best math teacher I've ever had!
I HATE math, and I'm not a math person at all, and I did soo well in this class thanks to Miss Prokosh. She is by far the best math teacher I've ever had, she explains things so clearly, and any math dummy can understand her. She is fair, tests are easy, and I understood everything. I'm extremely bummed she doesn't teach math 127!! :[
BEST math teacher I have ever had! She explains everything so clearly and even if you do not get it by the end you will! Go to her office hours if you need it and she will help! Just a great teacher overall and if you study and understand the topics you will get a good grade and maybe even enjoy math even if you do not like it
She was the best professor i have ever had.
An extremely clear professor. She does this by teaching the material without taking any shortcuts in explanation and then asking the sorts of questions a student might have on the material, and answering them as she goes along. She's fantastic. Textbook is optional; you can do everything with MyMathLab alone. If confused, try her office hours.
Adrienne is a wonderful professor. Her class is extremly easy and she makes sure she answers all your questions and walks you through every step of the math problem. I would definatly try to enroll in her 120 or 126 classes.
She's a super cool teacher, the best math teacher I have ever had. She makes things simple as possible. She has cheesy (yet still funny) jokes to start the class. She's always in a good mood. Class is easy, homework & tests are easy if you pay attention in class.
She is an AMAZING teacher. I hate math and she made it fun and interesting by showing how we will really see it in the real world. She was soo helpful and willing to explain things. Gives great study guides. LOVE THIS MATH CLASS.
super nice, easy to understand. She explains well and makes sure everyone grasps the material. use the math center!
She is a great math professor! Her notes are super clear and she is always willing to answer any questions you have. I would highly recommend her, especially if math is not your best subject.
She is a great teacher maybe even too great because she explains things and reiterates information so much that you are forced to understand. The tests are straight forward and if you pay at least some attention in class you are sure to pass with an A.
Prokosch is an amazing professor! Everything she explains is really clear, simple, and to the point. She goes over lots of examples to give you an idea of how to do your homework and whatâ??s going to be on the test. Her tests are really straight forward. I definitely recommend her.
I actually understand math now because of her, and plus I got silly jokes out of her too.
cool teacher, but extremely poor grader. Don't mess up on any little steps or you will lose full credit on the test problem.
This class was definitley worth every penny I spent on it. Her lectures were clear and easy to understand. She has a fun personality and tells corny math jokes every class. If you need to pass with an A I would reccomend taking her class.
Awesome and hot teacher. Easy to understand, willing to help all her students outside of class and in class. Corny jokes are awesome. Reopens homework for everyone to do at the end of the semester, drops a couple quizzes. Awesome teacher, awesome class, actually like Math now.
There is a normal amount of homework, and if you go to class every day, you'll do great on the tests. She covers everything and makes the work easy to understand.
This class is easy as long as you pay attention to the lectures, or at least finish the homework online. As long as you study for the tests and do the homework, you'll pass with flying colors. She's very helpful and clear during her lectures. The recitations/quizzes are unbelievably easy. Just do the work. Simple as that. Great professor!
Super easy teacher, she's very clear when it comes to learning all about precalc. She's a fun teacher too, opens up with a math joke and explains math very clearly and easily. Take her class! :)
Great teacher! Petersen is awesome! She is pretty funny and understandable compared to most math teachers. I definitely recommend her!
She was really funny, even though her class starting jokes were corny. She made math as easy as math could be.
I had her fall 2012. Adrienne's class was super easy to understand. She does plenty of examples so you truly grasp the concept. About 5-6 tests. We didn't use a textbook, just online to do hw. We used clickers for attendance/participation points.
Great teacher who is very clear and shows all steps during lecture. Her quizzes and tests are very similar to examples used it class. I would strongly recommend her class to anyone.
Shes a really good math teacher and i suck at math. I strongly recommend her over any other teacher. Do your hw and go to class even though attendance isn't mandatory. Quizzes are usually easier than the hw. Hw is online.
Really nice, she's a fair grader, and she makes things really easy to understand. If you aren't particularly good at math, this class will be really helpful to you.
Adrienne is an amazing teacher! She is very clear and precise in explanations of math. If you go to class and recitations and actually pay attention you should pass this class with flying colors. Loved her!
She is a good professor, but I wish she took on smaller classes so that she herself could help you out. Makes things very clear and is a hilarious woman!
She is very clear with her lectures and her tests are pretty easy. She was really helpful and let me make up an exam that I missed. If I had to take another math class I would take her!
Professor Petersen is probably the best professor at UNR. I've had her for multiple classes and have had great success. She's super clear, fair, and hilarious. I hate math, but she definitely changed that for me. If you have the chance, take her class!
I hate how tough a grader she is, but she is a great person and teacher.
She is so awesome! I love her, she explains things in a way that is easy to understand, and is not a tough grader at all!
Peteresen drags on her lectures to use up all of the time. she goes into detail about things we don't need to know or care about, but still explains the important stuff very well. Homework is just like the lecture examples. Quizzes during recitation are extremely easy. test are 12 multiple choice and 12 free response. 3 tests & a final
This was an easy class to begin with but she made it even better. She's young and has lots of energy but she gets to the point. You show up and learn the material and then leave (often early). If it wasn't going to be helpful to us then she skipped it. I liked her so much I signed up to take another one of her classes next semester.
Professor works through a handful examples in class; all of which are on the tests - which makes it easy as pie. So long as you show up to lecture, you are sure to understand the test material. But, if by chance you did NOT understand the in-class material, prof doesn't employ office hours and isn't that approachable.
Worst math professor I have ever taken. She's not clear about what's going to be on the test, and gets mad when someone asks her a question.
Good teacher overall, greaf job ag explaini get topics and what is expected of you
Her lectures make the material super easy to understand and she will explain if you need help. You get unlimited attempts on the homework, and it's super easy. Great class.
Helpful and shows interest in her students.
She's an amazing teacher! I'm trying to take her again for next semester. she explains very well. only thing that sucks is she makes the homework due at 5p instead of midnight on Sundays. I recommend her for a math teacher
I hate math and wasn't looking forward to Pre-Calc, but Adrienne kills it! She can be a bit sarcastic when answering student's questions, but as someone for whom math is not a first language, she makes all the material super manageable. I feel confident in math for one of the first times in my life! Online hw is a large part of your grade, do it!
She helped me so so so much! Math was very easy to understand in her class, and she definitely will go over the work more if it is not understood. Definitely try to get her as your math teacher!
She's AMAZING and super funny!
Petersen is super clear in her lectures and tells us a math related joke each class which is pretty cool. I really liked how she gives us several examples of problems to work with in class to ensure that we understand what she is teaching. I would highly recommend her for Math 126, she is truly an awesome professor.
Amazing amazing amazing professor! Her lectures are super helpful and she makes everything understandable. TAKE HER CLASS!
Easiest class I've ever taken! I aced almost everything thanks to Petersen's awesome teaching skills. Barely studied, but showed up to class every single day. Although at times I felt that showing up to class was not a necessity as long as you show up at least one or twice a week to get caught up on what there is to expect on tests.
I never went to class, did all the homework, took most of the quizzes, and aced the final, passed with a B+
Professor Petersen is one of my favorite teachers. She makes math very easy to understand and her lectures are easy to follow along with. She is very nice and likes to involve the class. Overall she made a math class not suck as bad.
If you are taking math 127 or any other math class she teaches, TAKE HER CLASS. I had to retake math 127 because my first professor was terrible and this time around in her class I got an easy A. She is the most amazing professor I have ever had and with out a doubt would recommend her class to anyone that asks. She makes math very simple for all.
Best math teacher I have ever had! She makes the concepts simple and relatable. Highly recommend her for any math class.
One of the best math teachers I've ever had. Just pay attention she's a great teacher that goes over a lot of examples and is really good at her job. Her practice exams are amazing, and they're VERY similar to the actual tests.
Professor Petersen is very caring and funny. She wants her students to pass and helps as much as she can. The practice exams are very similar to the tests and the way she teaches the subject makes it easy to understand. If math isn't your strong point, or even if it is, I STRONGLY recommend taking Professor Petersen's class.
Math has never been this clear. Absolutely wonderful teacher and making sure everything is completely covered. Answers questions but also knows what questions might be ahead of time from experience.
She is one of the best professors at UNR. She makes Math so much easier. I would recommend to people 10 times out of 10. She is a great person in and out of the classroom and is definitely a professor I admire.
She made 127 sooo easy to understand. She does a really good job explaining. She gives study guides before the exams and a formula sheet with any formula you'll need on the tests. Math is not one of my best subjects, but she really made it one of the easier classes on my schedule. Notes are very clear-cut and the 3 tests you take are easy.
I don't know what people mean by her being a tough grader! Her tests are very simple and consist of only the most basic problems from each section- 12 multiple choice and 12 free response. She gives credit for problems in 2 parts. 1 point for simply writing the correct formula down (which she gives you on a sheet), and 1 point for the right answer.
Super nice and really seems to want all her students to succeed. Email her and you'll get a helpful response quickly. Submitted an assignment late by accident and was given full credit for my work. The quizzes are exactly what the homework was on no surprises.
I took precalc in high school only to have to retake it in college. I am so glad I got Adrienne as a teacher for 126 and 127. She breaks things down really well and it's extremely helpful. I passed both classes with flying colors.
SHE'S HONESTLY THE BEST. DON'T BOTHER WITH ANYONE ELSE.
Her lectures are entertaining and clear. She has a great sense of humor, and has a math joke of the day every class. Her notes explain everything well.
Adrienne was one of the best professors i have ever had! She gets through her notes on time with no rush while thouroughly explaining the material. The tests are easier than high school tests! 10/10 recommend. Theres no way you cant pass this class. Shes also really funny will lightens the mood in lectures.
Best teacher ever, she explains the subjects so well and not to mention shes also hilarious. Tests are exactly like the problems we go over in class and I always felt prepared for the tests. She also gives excellent study guides for the tests. Highly reccomend
Great professor, fun and friendly. Understanding and will work with you
great teacher! makes the class fun, starts it with a math joke at the start of every class. She does give a lot of homework though.
She is an amazing teacher who knows her stuff very well. She dumbs things down very well if needed and has very good notes for you to write down. She gives enough time to copy notes and will ask if anyone has questions before moving on the next problem or topic. She likes to start the day off with jokes which helps with early morning classes.
Showing up and doing homework and quizzes will determine your overall grade in this class. Professor Petersen made lectures extremely understandable and made corny jokes before the start of every class. Study guides are structured like exams, and take quizzes serious. This class is great for anyone struggling with the concepts of precalc, easy A.
Professor Petersen is really good at explaining the material and goes over several examples in class. She really takes her time and makes sure you understand the concepts. If you do the exam review sheets she provides you will be fine. Only test that was a little more difficult was the second one but other than that you can't go wrong with her.
Professor Petersen is honestly one of the best math teachers I have ever had. She gives very clear and easy to understand notes that resemble exactly what you will see on the exams. The exams are very simple and only consist of multiple choice and a few free response. She gives study guides for every exam as well. Need an easy A take her class.
Professor Petersen is one of the best math teachers I have ever had. Her lectures provide plenty of examples for each new math concept taught in this class. She likes to start off her lectures with a cheesy joke, and I think it lightens up the mood a bit. I loved her so much I signed up for her Math 127 class next semester!
Gave the best lectures ever!! was always very clear during the lessons and gave many examples which were very similar and sometimes the exact questions on the homework. There's always homework due the following Monday but it's very easy and can be finished in an hour or less. Such a sweet lady I recommend her to everyone.
I hate math but she made precalculus so easy. She teaches very well, gives plenty of examples and gives out a study guide which is basically the same format of the test. Lectures are long and most of the time I wouldn't go, but when I did she made concepts very understandable. It is an easy A!
Great teacher. Her joke of the day is almost always terrible but excusable. Very nice and caring about the student and will always help you out after class. Tests aren't very hard and the study guides are almost identical to the tests. She is very lenient with the homework as well. I cannot stress the homework enough though, it will make your grade
Adrienne is a very charismatic professor, and the lectures are extremely clear and helpful. I really appreciated her thorough teaching style & found myself grasping topics quite easily. The homework is everything, so don't wait til the last minute. The tests are simple, so long as you study the bare minimum beforehand. Wish she taught higher math.
Very respectable, friendly, and willing to help. I struggled for the beginning of most part of Trigonometry II, but I then got help from Ms. Petersen, who was able to teach me and guide me towards resources to do better on tests. The recitations take attendance, so make sure you go there to take the quizzes as well. Lectures are informative.
I had taken precalc in high school so I remembered the basic concepts of the course, but Adrienne laid it out even simpler than it had been taught to me in high school. She has been the most straight-forward professor I've had so far regarding the lecture notes. I wish I had her for every math class!
If you need math 120 for your liberal arts degree DO NOT TAKE IT IN PERSON! Take it online with Mrs. P and you will save yourself a ton of time and have a good time. She is really nice and will assist you if you need any assistance at all!
If you struggle with understanding math take her, she is easy and funny and she cares.
Very good at teaching the material, answering questions, and giving you the information you need to pass. Shes also very down to earth and is nice to her students. Would recommend 10/10.
easy all year but final is worth 30% of grade and can make or break your grade
Adrienne was the greatest math teacher I've ever had! Her lectures/teaching style is SO easy and clear. I have never enjoyed math more. Not to mention that her tests are quite easy and SO similar to the study guides. Before the final (worth 30%), I had a 100.33%. The final was cumulative but again, A+ study guide!Take her no matter what class!
She knows her stuff and does a good job at explaining concepts. Just be prepared to write down notes like there's no tomorrow. She burns through them FAST. Starts off every class with a Math joke which are usually corny but will still make you smile. Your test scores will either make or break you, so the content beforehand. Taking her for 127 100%.
Really nice and lectures are full of information. Make sure to show up and it makes it easier. Get a jump start on homework as some can take a while to complete.
She is an amazing, amazing lecturer. If you're bad at math, this is the professor for you. She lays things out in black and white and makes everything as clear as possible. There has never been a time where I left class confused. Her study guides are very helpful; if you can do the study guide no problem than you'll ace her tests.
Her grading scale is insane. Majority of her students received D's on their exams and she wouldn't curve the grades and the test are a large part of your grade. The homework and quizzes are a drop in the bucket. Fail a test and your scraping by.
I hate math but this is my favorite professor. She does an amazing job in class explaining the topics and giving examples of problems. She often does reviews before the exam, and if you listen to those, you will do good. She is very easy to get help from, either directly in class or in her office hours.
Ive havent had an A in math since sophomore year in Algebra 2. This professor goes over every lesson and makes the homework easy to understand. If you do the practice tests well, you will for sure get at least a B on the exams. She makes class fun and even had a daily math pun before class starts just to get us hyped. Great teacher.
Professor Petersen was a great math teacher and I actually learned a lot in her class. She has really dorky math jokes and you can tell that she truly loves what she teaches. She's very knowledgeable and approachable so it's easy to get her feedback and help on assignments. She is super great and I would recommend her to anyone.
amazing professor, you never have to worry whether you're going to pass or not. she makes everything easier to understand. also take your discussion class with her TA, Fransesco Zuniga, you won't regret that either.
Seriously best math teacher ever! I suck at math and she is so good I still got an A. Go to class and take notes. She's always there to help.
If you're someone like me who could never fully grasp math, then Adrienne Petersen is the professor you need to have. She makes her own study guides for exams, so if you do the study guide correctly then you will be guaranteed to pass the exam because the study guide is ACTUALLY HELPFUL. She is so amazing that I enrolled into her math 127 class
Adrienne's lectures are extremely clear and easy to understand, she has made math so easy for me. I have now taken two of her classes and would highly recommend her. She is not only a good professor but she is funny and caring. She does not take attendance and it is an easy class overall. She also makes study guides before each exam! Love her!
She is a super sweet person but I personally did not gain anything from this. She posts all the notes for the class so you're better off teaching yourself the information and just doing the homework. The "discussion sessions" don't help AT ALL but they are mandatory. The TA's were terrible and make it very confusing.
Had her for 127, and she was my first taste of how good some college math profs can be. Decided to take her again for this reason. Tiny bit of a let down, but only because this was her first time teaching calc. She was still really great in comparison to other math profs, but she kind of over complicated some things that didn't need to be.
TAKE HER!! Best calculus prof out there. Cares about her students and was super adaptable to the covid environment. Very clear about her expectations for exams and will make sure you succeed!!
I am not a big fan of her grading scale. The exams were worth 10 points and 45% of your grade. If you do badly on an exam, your grade will drop, as in my case from an A to a C. She lets us know which types of problems will be on exams. I loved her lectures and her way of explaining math concepts. Her math jokes of the week are hilarious and corny
My favorite math professor ever (will be taking her 181 class next semester)! Her lectures make everything extremely simple to understand, and if you like knowing why some things in math are the way they are, she does an excellent job of providing proofs that are useful to know. Super understanding and gives extra points (ended with over 100%).
Really cares about her students. If you have the chance to take her class, do it by all means.
Professor Peterson is extremely smart and knows what she's doing. I found her lectures easy to follow and she is happy to answer any questions. The homework, quizzes, and study guides are identical to her tests. She is also super caring which is not that common among college professors. Last but not least, her cheesy jokes are great. :)
I took MATH 127 with Prof. Petersen, and MATH 181 was a little harder but essentially still the same: an easy A! I've never taken a calculus class before, but Prof. Petersen helped make the content fairly easy to understand. Going to discussion when I had questions about anything or on the homework was definitely helpful.
Had her for NevadaFIT. Some lectures would be incredibly slow and other lectures would be incredibly fast. Im glad I dont have her for the fall
Always tells a joke to start class to make things less stressful. Pace of lectures can be inconsistent but will always answer any questions if needed. If you miss class then you have to get the notes from a classmate.
She is an amazing professor. Goes at a great pace, and explains all of the material thoroughly. While attendance at the lectures isnt required, you still need to go if you want to pass, because each lecture is important.
She was easily the best math teacher/professor I've ever had. All homework is online and there was sometime quizzes in recitation. Her lectures are fairly fast paced but clear and I was still able to write most things down. She was clear about the content of the tests, there were never any surprises which makes them easy to study for.
I took math 126 and 127 and her lectures are organized and easy to understand. She's a very nice person too. Throughout her lectures, many concepts were explained pretty well. Exams are fair and easy to pass as long as you studied beforehand. You should take her classes!
Super easy class and she makes everything easy to understand. I thought i was bad at math but i realized I've only had bad math teachers. She also cracks jokes at the beginning of class which is purposefully cringy but that's what makes it funny. She doesnt take attendance but showing up to class is necessary in order to pass the quizzes every week
Prof Peterson is really good, complete transparency with tests and quizzes and sticks up for her students. The real MVP is the TA Jakob tho.
Great and understanding professor very personable and makes jokes that made me genuinely laugh. She taught the class well, she uses whiteboards to teach the content instead of using an Ipad. There is a textbook you have to buy to access the homework, while the class is based off the textbook, you never open it. Would take her class again.
shes really nice and funny, and if you are only taking up to 127 shes great but if youre heading into calc and beyond dont take her. she uses an alternative method to the unit circle which works, but is so much more work in higher level classes later on.
Professor Petersen is awesome. Her lectures are in depth, and she explains everything very thoroughly. If you attend her lectures you will be fine.
Very good lecturer. Great pacing
All her lectures were very well explained making it worth going to lectures to understand the content. 3 test and her reviews are super helpful and count as EC. She starts every class with a joke and is super easy to talk to. As someone who had a horrible experience with math teachers, I 100% recommend taking her !!!
Adrienne was such a wonderful professor for MATH 126. We had weekly quizzes and 3 exams and 1 final cumulative exam. She offered plenty of extra credit and even dropped our 2 lowest quizzes and 3 lowest homework's. Overall she made this class very easy all my other friends who took other math classes seemed to have much harder professors.
Pretty decent class, although I wish she wouldn't go over her notes fast. Yes, I know she has her videos uploaded but sometimes its confusing
Great class but keeping up with pace and notes was a real task. She was an awesome professor though who made sure you understood the material so it was really worth my time and everyone's. Would very much recommend this class 10/10.
Petersen is the best math instructor on campus by far. She explains everything so well and sets you up for success early on. She tells you what you will be tested on and only tests basic concepts. She is very understanding and flexible. She does not post notes so going to lecture is very important but she makes it fun.
She was an awesome math professor ! Was a very fair grader and made tests easy! Highly recommend!
Professor Petersen is a great option for anyone taking Math126; she's easy to understand, she does talk fast and misses some classes, but other than that, she's great.
