What a great professor. She's truly the best professor i've had in college so far. (I'm in my second year) She assigns chapters to read for homework and that's pretty much it. Basically, show up, pay attention and participate in the class disscussions. She gives full reviews for the tests and only assigns one term paper. I HIGHLY reccomend her.

Excellent prof., is upbeat as well as very knowledgable on her subject. Very fair exams(easily passable as long as you show up for study guide reviews)and more than fair when grading essays. Only two tests and one term paper. She grades the paper lightly, especially if you turn it in a few days early. All the answers to the test are on the study guides in order and there are always 10 bonus questions on the tests. You can always email her and she will respond the same day. Inspirational professor. You will get to know her as a person. Makes art really fun and not boring. Gives study guides that help a lot on the test. There is no other professor like her. The book you barely need it. Biggest project was the research paper that is based on your opinion.

She is very passionate about art and values class participation. I walked in not knowing anything about art and now that I've been inspired I'm creating my own artwork. The hardest part about the class was the paper. Writing comes easy to me but to reach the required word count isn't easy. Don't wait until the last minute to do it

I can honestly she's an amazing professor. I've been absent 3 weeks in a row, and I only see her ONCE a week and she's always helping me out and giving me options to take in order to do good in her class. She's hilarious and entertaining to watch. I honestly think she's the BEST out of all my professors this semester.

Easy "A" She is funny and entertaining. Only 2 test mid term an final and she gives you a review. Took this with no interest leaving very interested &knowledgeable about art! TAKE HER. But, if you have even the slightest interest in the creative process of making something, then you will be opened up to many interesting artists and their processes of making art. Professor Turk is such a great Professor. Before I took this class, i wasnt very interested in the different forms of art work and artist. But professor Turk really made art interesting, easy to understand, entertaining and she allowed you to think for yourself. Thanks to her help, I now really do appreciate art more.

I took her for a 6 week course (4 classes a week) and it was honestly the most enjoyable summer I've ever had. She is super passionate about art and art history. Her final/midterm exam was stupid easy because she gives you the answers for the study guide beforehand. Give her a shot! ^^b

Graded on the midterm, 2000 word research paper, final exam (+extra credit). She gives out reviews for the exam, its the same thing on the test. Buying the book was optional, not really needed tho. She is so nice, funny, and very understanding. This class is an easy A, she is such a great teacher and I would totally recommend her to everybody.

All she gives is a midterm, final, and a paper. The midterm and final are both multiple choice and she gives the answers for them in review. The paper is 2,000 words, but she gives you a while to do it.

Professor Turk is a great teacher! She only gives 4 grades: attendance, midterm exam, 2000 word art paper (which she helps you with) and a final exam. For the exams she gives you a study guide that's basically the exam (50 questions). The professor is very energetic and clearly loves what she teaches! Gives extra credit as well! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I loved this professor! She is very open and likes feedback from her students. I was sure I'd be bored out of my mind cause I'm not that into art but the way she taught and her stories caught my attention. There are 2 test that she goes over, a 2000 word paper but she gives you guide lines and plenty of time to do it . You get to leave early!

Adrienne was super nice. She was very funny and the online lessons were entertaining and she made lots of jokes. The online work we had to do on Revel was very easy and light, it didn't take more than 30 minutes to finish. For the exams, she gave us study guides, which made them super easy. I would definitely take her again :)

She's an amazing professor. Her class is super easy and the only thing that she is strict on is attendance, and even then you can email her about any issues for being absent and she wont be mad. Quizzes are simple. There is a 2000 word paper but she gives you a guide and it's not that hard. Highly recommend!!

Loved this class! I took it live-online over the summer for 6 weeks and didn't feel overwhelmed at all. 1 or 2 quizzes and discussions (they're easy and based on the textbook) were due weekly. One 2000 word paper (it was easy though since she never judges your opinion on art). Easy extra credit! We had to have our cameras on during class.

Please, take Professor Turk if you have the chance! She'll make you feel as if you've known her your whole life. Not to mention her amazing and inspirational lectures that she tells, which really make you take a huge interest in art. I took her virtually during summer, and I looked forward to her class. Prof Turk is incredibly caring, nice, and an amazing teacher. She is very strict with attendance but the class overall is pretty easy. The quizzes and exams are not hard at all and she gives a LOT of chances to get extra credit. I had no interest in art before her class, but she actually made me like it a little bit more! 11/10 would recommend!

If you need to take an art class, take Professor Turk's class! She wants us to pass her class, and will work with you. Attendence and cameras on is manditory, but if you have an emergency, just email her and she will excuse you. She genuinly cares about her students, and makes you feel so comfortable and respected. I took a hybrid class with Professor Turk over the summer. I'm a dual enrollment student so this was my first time with anything college related. We had meets on Zoom Monday-Thursday for about an hour and a half to two hours. Just do your assignments and you'll pass. Professor Turk was super funny - she made the class very interesting! Professor Turk is so kind. She is extremely understanding and relaxed. She's also very knowledgeable about what she's teaching and allows students to interact with art and opens up about her previous works and past to engage students. You'll have a blast in her class and it's very easy, just keep up with the weekly readings.

She was funny and nice. Her class was never boring, and there are at most 2 assignments you have to do per week, but they are very easy. The only "difficult" part was the 2000-word paper, but even that wasn't too bad. If you turn it in early, she can even give you corrections. Would definitely take this class again.

Took her for the summer term live online, a very great and easy professor. Actually teaches and likes to interact with students. Had Pearson assignments that were able to finish in less than 2 weeks. Just one essay, and the midterm and final are open books. Very easy A to get!!! TAKE HER
