I had the opportunity to learn what I had heard so much about. As it turns out, studying isn't all that hard, and taking notes isn't difficult. I learned that it is not that difficult to learn, it just requires effort. I am no longer ignorant to study skills.

She will repeat things 1000 times if you need it even if its not clear to begin with. She is willing to stick around just for you so that makes up for the lack of clarity. Prepare for daily homework and weekly projects if you want take this class.

She was very helpful in explaning the assignments and clearliy stated what need to be done for those assignments. She even gave time in class to work on your assignment but the big thing for me was that she offered motivation for students that might be slumping a little and gave them hope to succesed.

This class is very useful! This is my first semester at Salt Lake Community College and I know probably every learning technique and study skill there is. This class has hands on activities and teaches great time management. We had time in class to finish assignments and the professor was on our side the whole way.

LE 1020 is a course that helped me a lot at college. I was scared at the beginning because since it was an accelerated class I tought i was not going to be able to pass it and I even tried to get rid of the class but an advisor told me that either way I had to take it now or later plus I runned out of time to withdraw from a class so I decided to.

We did a school tour that helped me greatly.I was not aware of a lot of resources. In this tour I found that we have an Employment Student & Cooperative Education Services, which I went to shortly after the tour. Now I have multiple job referrals and they also helped me with my resume and cover letter. Hopefully I will have a job very soon.

Something that I loved was our student design quiz project it thought me to review the material and main points of what we are currently learning in class. It also showed how to use my creativity to make a quiestion a little bit more complicated than usual.

Professor Brundidge helps us to reach higher. I knew nothing about PowerPoint, Electronic Quiz, Student Researches, Cornell note taking until this class. Now we are learning about speed reading, and study skills methods. This class with this Professor is outstanding.

Something about this class that you should know. For those of you who do not know computor softward, this class may be hard for you to understand. However, we are alowed to work in groups and one on one. Professor Brundidge spends time with each student that needs additional help an hour or more after class.

SHE'S AWEWOME. She really helps to break down the information to make sure what is being taugh tis completely understood. She presents a all her student with a chance to fully reach their full potential. More teachers sould adopt her teaching style.

Now my overall reflection of this course is a rather good one. I learned a lot of information and techinques to help guide me in the right direction in becoming a master student. The work I found to be very easy but there was a large amount of it. It was a comfortable setting to be able to have fun and learn valuable things at the same time.

The course, in my opinion, ecourages a student to use the resources available to them. It helps a "non-traditional student" get a understanding of the how to prepare and succeed in college. LE 1020 makes a student dig deep into their ablilties to find their true capablilty, and Adris will drive you to achieve the most out of yourself.

This is a course that not only prepares you for college but for many other things life may bring. Also in taking this course I have been able to become a more critical thinker when it comes to any situation.For the most part, I would say it’s a very valuable course for any college bound or college student to take.

I really liked building my ePortfolio in this class. Professor Brundidge does hands on teaching. I knew nothing about building ePortfolios before taking this class. I have never attepmted to build a website. This is a very techinal course. I did know much about computors before taking Professor Brundidge's class. I learned a lot and helping others.

I like having a filing system where we place our chapters assignments, I mostly like the e-Portfolio uploads where we can look back a our progress. Having methods allows everyone to be on the same page. There is no posible way Professor Brundidge could treat any of her students unfairly. I like the way we are able to work together. I simulataneously love and dislike her. She's nice, but SO confusing! I've had to miss a few random days of class and when I come back I am extremely confused and she doesn't help very much. She's very scatter-brained, yet when you actually get her focused on the question you've asked (may take a lot of time and energy), she tries her best to help.

This teacher has been beyond helpful in my time at SLCC. She was able to help with my transition from highschool to college. She taught me to manage my time wisely, which is something I have always struggled with. By far this teacher and class have been my favorite while here at SLCC.

She has a lot of energy and you can tell she loves to teach. The class tends to jump around a lot which can be confusing. Overall she just wants the students to participate in whatever she has going from day to day. The class is a beginning course that is designed to introduce you to task that will be required throughout the college experience.
