Worst teacher in my educational career, period. Not helpful in and out of class. Fast talker with thick accent, gets easily confused in his own words. Gives ultimatums. Made a mother cry after an exam. Avoid at all costs. No curve. Tests are like SATs,wrong answers count against you. Laughs at his own jokes. My academic potential is slim to none w/
Difficult to understand. Competitive grading. Does not explain his grading well at any point. Don't expect to know your grade except at midterm and the end of the semester. Overall- very bad.
Can be fun at times, goes way to fast. too much info at one time.

Best teacher I ever had. I took the class because I had to but he made a real exciting experience. Connects chemistry to your everyday life. Many chances for bonus. Just try to be there most of the time and do most of the work and you get an easy C without having to score high on exams. You can always use the bonus portfolio.
He is a very caring teacher. He is always there to help. Just stop by his office - during office hours or appointments- or even call and he will help. I do not understand why some students are always whiny about untrue things. His accent is very clear. He made my life easy without him I donot know what to do with chemistry and he is always fun.
If you really want to learn chemistry this teacher is really good. If you only want to pass the class this teacher is really good. Very knowledgeable about chemistry. Very helpful outside the classroom. Overall very good and very nice.
Excellent teacher. Should be teaching at Northwestern or UIC. Extremely knowledgeable caring and yet very generous with grading. Can and will answer any question you have about chemistry. Easy to talk to and funny.
Excellent teacher! One of the best teachers I have ever had. I found him to be extremely caring and a very patient teacher. He really wants his students to succeed. He takes the time to answer everyone?s questions and he tries to make the class enjoyable. I found his speech to be very clear I had no problem understanding him. I would recommend
Excellent teacher! He cares about his students and wants everyone to do good. He takes lots of time to explain his lectures and answers all the questions you might have. He is one of the best teachers I have ever had. Although I have to warn you, its a class with lots of work. When you are ready to study a lot you will do fine.
Best and nicest teacher! He always asks you to do more but when it comes to final grade he is easy. His real obejective is to get you to learn. Oh and alwys ask him about cool demonstrations.
i took him over the summer and i dotn go to this school normally but i was surprised how a community college can have such a good teacher take his class. By no means is he an easy teacher but hes a good teacher
Took him in the spring. Very nice teacher, helpful, and works with you. Just do not try to boss him. Listen to what he says and you will be glad you were in his class. You learn a lot and get a very good grade. On top of all you will have lots of crazy fun. Having said that you will have to work hard but you will love it.
Dr. Audi is the BEST!!! I enjoyed his class greatly and wish that there were more instructors like him. I only wonder why he is teaching at CLC and not at some University. Very helpful, knowledgeable and kinda quirky! I would DEFINATELY recommend him! As long as you work hard you will learn alot and have a great foundation set for Chem II.
Has a thick accent, couldnt understand him. He was sooo hard. He gave pop quizzes, very disorganized and all over the place, barely helped, and on the tests, if you guessed on the multiple choice and got it wrong, you would get 2 points off so you could end up with a negative score!! I taught myself all the material
Never liking Chemistry, I thought he made the class hard, but in a good way. He gave lots of quizzes, but ALWAYS told you about them and what they will be on. Exams are tough, so be sure to Study. He is very understanding. I found it better to teach my self and learned alot more that way, so the Mandatory Attendance was very inconvenient.
Best Professor on earth. I can not believe that some people would not like him. Like this liar of the penalty thing. I had him for chem I and II and never had penalty for multiple choice. Besides you can always score more than 100%. Very nice teacher. Generous both with grade and food:). Highly recommend.
I enrolled and I was dreading chemistry. This professor made me love it. He is so fun. Gives you bonuses everytime you breathe. He just does not like trouble makers and stresses positivity. He brought us Tapioca pudding when talking about atomic model. helps you when you are in trouble even if it was life trouble. Helped me w/$ to buy my book.
Looking for a good approachable helpful teacher? Take Dr Audi and you won't regret it. As much as he voices expectations at the end he will give you a very easy grade.
Best teacher you can have. Very caring. Tries his best to make succeed. After giving you a good scoop of chemistry he gives a very generous grade.
Hey Audi... You changed my world. I see things differently now as you used to say. I am majoring in chemistry now. It is all due to your help and patience for this trouble maker student. You converted my fear into love of chem. Just wanted to let you know. Best wishes with Nano.
Hey Boss. Best teacher ever!
Dr. Audi is a very good teacher and during a normal term I could see his classes being helpful. However, if you are looking for an easy class professor look elseshere. Memorization is a key component in learning in his class and sometimes his teaching style gets in the way of the material. I could not recommend this to anyone for a summer class.
Very nice caring and professional. Took him over the summer. First day, he declares " it is a chemistry boot camp".He says things very clearly well ahead of time and even gives you time to catch up if you fall behind. At least 6 people out of 20 that stayed in class got an A. You only fail if you do not show up or turn in what he asks for.
He always tells what to study. On every lecture handout he has a list of skill s and objective you need for the class. Extremely generous with grading and curves up the grades. But that is fair because he has high standards and not so easy quizzes and lots of homework.
The class itself takes a lot of study time. Also, I did not care much for the online homework on masteringchemistry.com but overall Audi was a good teacher. One thing he could have done better was gives us more step by step instructions when it came to the equations used.
Perfect teacher.
He is a really good teacher. I learned a lot. He is helpful and explains things when you have questions so it's easy to understand. He doesn't get frustrated when you don't understand something and have to ask over and over for it to be explained. He even had study sessions outside of class to get ready for the final exam!
He is very helpful. He is always in his office. He even gives extra help sessions. He tells exactly what you need to study. People who miss class complain they do not understand although he reminds us that attending is 90% of any job especially in chemistry. I can see bad comments from students who think attendance=passing.
I have not seen any teacher with such a lively style. He makes chemistry speaks to you and man he is knowledgeable. Way to go!!!!
Wonderful teacher for summer. Knows what to do and how to deal with all sorts of students. The very emotional and rowdy ones all in a very nice spirit. Keeps learning environment positive even in a fast paced intensive course like 121. Extremely helpful, comes very early and stays up till midnight helping students.
I learned sooooo much in this class. He makes it really fun to come to class. It's not boring. He does cool experiments sometimes.
best tecaher ever. Can't find any better person teaching chemistry. Understands students challenges and patiently works with them. Highly recommend.
Professor Audi is a great guy and very nice. He made the class fun but he means business. He wants you to succeed and will help with anything you need. I would highly recommend him for Chemistry.
One of the best teachers i have ever had.Very intimidating at first but he means business. But on that not he is willing to do whatever you need to help you succeed.Help sessions, extentions, weekend time if you need it.Expects you to work hard, but is willing to help you the WHOLE way
I would love for him to teach CHM123 and 125. Makes class so exciting. He has an answer for every question. Give us food, generous in grade too. If not serious do not take him. No mercy for no homework. I guess that is fair though. He is always happy to help even when he is real busy. If you like to really learn and have fun take him. Best Quality
Best teacher ever. Makes good use of time and effective knowledge conveyer. Reccommend highly.
Extremely helpful even when extremely busy or sick. Take his classes you will be very happy. He is fun and generous with grade and food.
Highly recommend. Makes chemistry enjoyable.
Truly nice professor. The best of the best.
Dr. Audi was awesome! Though the material was all new for me and I sometimes had no idea what he was talking about, he always went out of his way to stay after class or meet with me on other days in order to help me. He wants you to learn the material and is passionate about Science so he made it fun! I highly recommend Dr. Audi for Chemistry!
Dr Audi knows what he is talking about. He does everything possible to help you out. Just talk to him during office hours. He even records his lectures for later viewing or for if you miss class. Ideal teacher very nice and easy to talk to. He makes you feel very well cared for. I highly recommend is the least I can say.
Best teacher I ever had. Most high tech professor. Knows how to to use technology for the best of students. Taking the class with him is like you have 100 opportunities to get the grade and the learning you desire. Love him. Highly recommend. Most exciting and professional teacher.
I wish all teachers are like him. I recommend Ahmad for everyone. caring and wants the best for us. He does not mind helping even if busy, weekends and outside office hours. He is very proficient at technology and uses it seemlessly to help us. I can watch the same lecture given in different ways over many semesters as well as problem solving.
I took it at southlake campus in the spring. He used an inverted class setting. I found it the most helpful. I iwsh all my teachers do the same. We do the homework in class and watch pre-recorded lectures at home at our own time. He is a very nice person. Very helpful and funny.
Professor Audi was great. He was always available if you needed him and put his students first. If the students needed clarification, he would make sure everyone understood before he moved on. Great teacher and great person.
Ahmad is awesome! His inverted class was a delightful experience! He takes a lot of time to explain everything in the video lectures and is more than willing to answer questions. He has a genuine interest/passion for chemistry that is contagious when he lets it show. He also extended deadlines for homework and pushed tests back if we weren't ready.
I like the inverted class setting. I am almost done with my class. But there are some procrastinators that might need help.
Dr. Audi is very helpful. He really provides every help we need to pass this class.
Chemistry is very hard. Dr. Audi is very helpful. I retook the class with him. The first time around I was not ready. He surely wants you to learn and enjoy. Taking it again with another professor could have been boring but with him was lots of fun. It is like he is yet another impressive teacher.
Generous and kind.
Best teacher best class. I love inverted class.
I would not have any better grade than in this class. I would not have learned in any other class. Best Chemistry class and best professor. It feels like you are really in an ivy college and cared for to the max.
Magnificent teacher. A super repository of lectures and tutorial videos.
Do not take this class over the summer. If you do, get ready for very long video lectures. I suggest taking it in the fall or spring. He is very funny, one of the best teachers I've had with a sense of humor. He wants you to be interested. Grades based off tests and modules. You need to know your math or else you will struggle. Overall good class.
Dr. Audi is a very nice, humble guy. I was doing a "hybrid" class and at home videos are long, so prepare to spend a lot of time on homework. However, he is very lenient with the grading and will give extra credithelp to give you a better grade. He is cute and funny.
Dr. Audi is the best science teacher i have ever had. He will do anything in his power to help you succeed even on his own time. He is clear and concise on his expectations but also understands the hard times of a college student and allows extentions for these scenariosm MUST TAKE!!! Not sure another teacher could have made chemistry possible 4 me
Very helpful and nice. Makes time for study sessions if needed. Not the best at returning graded assignments and doesnt post grades on blackboard, but ask and he'll let you know how you're doing. I made an A and didn't open the book once, save yourself some $ and buy the mastering chemistry code online. Do mastering Chem practice quizzes to help!
He is so lenient that sometimes waiting for other students to catch up he might grade labs late. But he is excellent with feedback. Once I was concerned about my lab grade so I visited in office hours and he graded all labs for me. For the first experiment he made us correct our own lab with green pen and asked us to estimate our grade. Awesome ...
I had him last summer. He is a great funny and effective teacher. No time to waste and very helpful. You can tell how excited he is about what he does and he is contagious with his love of chemistry. Although he keeps the bar high his help and the resources he has for his students makes it a breeze.
Even though the lecture portion of this class is online, Dr. Audi explained everything really well in his recorded lectures. He really goes out of his way to help his students do well in the class and will hold extra study sessions before tests. He has been, by far, my favorite teacher at CLC and I would recommend taking CHM 120 with him.
Dr. Audi is fun and lots of help. He really cares for his students to learn and is very fair. I have been to other universities and colleges but Dr. Audi stands out. He beats Khan academy with his videos: lecture , practice, guides, and labs. He is inspirational. He is so excited about what he does. I would not have had a easier grade.
I took this as a 3 week intersession class. I was scared because I am terrible at chemistry. But I ended up really enjoying the class. He does not lecture during lecture time. He makes videos ahead of time of the lectures so you can do homework in class. I really liked it! Don't need the book either!
I took this class over 3 week intersession. I was dreading it as I id not have science for a long time. But Dr Audi's clarity and organization made this class much easier. He also gave a crash lecture of about half an hour every day and he helped us a lot. I can not understand why any student would not love him. I recommend him. He is the best.
A high tech futuristic teacher. Best teacher. Highly recommend. Very helpful. Very nice.
D Audi is a superb teacher. I wish all my teachers were like him. I highly recommend him for any student like me who struggles with science but want to learn more.
Dr Audi is very nice, I remember him bringing us food, His lectures were very engaging. He would come in weekends to help us and give extra review sessions. He really wants to understand and is generous with grades. I highly recommend him,
I would not say hilarious but he is really funny. Most importantly Dr Audi is very helpful. He will do anything to help. I would surely take him again when he teaches more classes. I love his style.
Took the inverted chm class, did hw & quizzes online, he makes lectures videos to be viewed at home. During class time you can watch the lecture videos, do homework, or quizzes. He's pretty much there to answer or explain things as needed. the test are not just memorization you have to really apply what you have learned. but he is very helpful!!!
Most helpful and most caring for students that I have ever had. And I am a returning students so I have seen lots of teachers. I highly recommend him. You will pass because he cares and excite you to learn.
High tech Professor. Highly recommended on ratemyprofessor and true. I would take him again when he will teach other classes. Best science teacher at CLC. Best Chemistry teacher according to my friends.
Helps a ton inside , outside class and 24 hours with videos. He has videos on how to wake up and how to sleep:) I mean everything related to class. Fun and easy on grades. Would take him again and again.
Truly Truly cares about his students understanding and passing. Inverted is way to go. So if you are smart like me you do not get bored and get done quickly. And if you need help. Man! This instructor have lots of resources for you.
This is a 600 class that meets for lab but do not meet for lecture. I took his class and I am very pleased I did. Dr Audi understands it is tough to take blended chem. His lectures can be watched anytime on blackboard. Although I watched his videos lectures I still needed help and he was so nice to help even outside his office hours.
I took this online class with lab at Southlake campus with Dr Audi. At first I thought I can teach myself by googling and youtubing. It took me a while, maybe till midterm, to realize that the best thing to do is follow the lead he gave the first day. I only wished I watched every lecture he had on bb from the start. But he is patient and best
He is an awesome professor. He has amazing video lectures, and he is fair when grading. I highly recommend him. He cares about his students.
Excellent teacher! Very nice. Even gives free Pizza. Most important though he truly cares about students and making chemistry understandable. He tries to make chemistry fun and easy but come on. It is chemistry. I would not have passed with another teacher let alone getting a B.. Go to Dr Audi!!!
I usually do not rate my teachers. But Dr Audi is an exception. Because he really cares and wants you to understand not only gives an easier grade. he tells exactly what you need to do the first day and gives plenty of reminder and extensions. Although he did not bring us pizza he brought us donuts, you can tell he is generous in grades and food.
SU:CHM120:Hybird: Pros: Turn in everything, cannot fail. Flexible. Great professor if you plan on taking future chemistry classes since you will have to work for your A. Cons: Note card only for final. No drop grades. Average test score, 70-75%. Overall: Caring professor, but would not retake.
Dr. Audi is an amazing professor. He truly cares for his students and it shows. He goes above and beyond to help students succeed. The work is hard, but Chemistry 120 is hard as it is, so pay attention, do what he says from day 1 and you should have no issues.
I dreaded chemistry and him the first week. He makes you work but he is really nice and super helpful. I highly recommend him. If It were not to Dr. Audi I would be retaking chemistry few times to pass.
best teacher
Generous and helpful. highly recommend him.
Be ready to watch video lectures when you are taking this online class. you will be graded on too many things which is good but too many also. he makes work hard but you earn good grade which was sweet deal for me for a chemistry class. Chemistry is challenging but he has lots of resources and mostly videos and mastering. I will be taking him again
This has to be one of the most difficult classes I ever took difficult in sense of it being Chemistry and I took it as an elective not because I needed the class, bad choice on part however Dr Audi is seriously the best teacher I could have chosen for such a difficult subject I got lucky He is always willing to answer any questions and is available
Dr. Audi gives extra help in every way and every means. truly he has the 120 video for us if we like slower pace. Extra credit you name it. He truly wants to get the best grade and best appreciation of chemistry. Very dedicated to his students and brings food.
Dr Audi is always available for additional help for his class. He has gone above and beyond accommodating the students of his class with extra classroom and weekend hours.
Dr. Audi is a fantastic instructor and always goes out of his way to be as helpful and accommodating. He takes a challenging topic and makes it understandable on all levels. The hybrid course organization could not be better. Dr. Audi should be recognized for his hard work and dedication to his students.
Intersession class; very compressed. Inverted hybrid format (lectures on Blackboard; class for questions, labs, and exams). Lots of assignments; do all the work. You need the reinforcement to do well on the exams. Dr. Audi is very accessible for questions and wants you to do well. Hes an exceptional teacher. Highly, highly recommend.
I took Dr. Audi in CHM120 and 121. 120 is easier than 121. If you want to learn and you can find the time you should absolutely take him. Beware you see good rating thinking that he gives easy grades. I have seen a few who were disappointed by the amount of work his classes take. He is serious but flexible and caring. For me, he is the best.
Lots of talking!!!!
Great teacher.
I was very scared to take a online chem class but professor Audi has make it so easy, he gave you tons of resources to study. He is very flexible is you are not ready to take a test he give you extra time to prepare. He is a great person and really caring. Dont get scare at the first class stick around and I assure you you wont regret it.
Dr. Audi is great- especially if Chem isn't your strong suit. This was a hybrid class, so there was a TON of outside work between watching his lectures and the online homework- but it all helped prepare you for tests. He's a kind grader and just wants his students to succeed. Tons of opportunities for extra credit.
Honestly, He Dr. Audi is an excellent teacher. I took his hybrid intro course and at first the idea of lectures outside of the class sounded scary but he is so helpful and understanding and willing to work with you to make sure you succeed. TAKE HIS COURSE and be honest and upfront with him and you will be so thankful you took his course !!
Chemistry is hard on its own, but he really does the most to help you. his lectures are long, but if you put in the work can pass. there is a lot of detail work and you have to practice to truly understand it and pass. he is a little disorganized but overall he makes up for it being helpful and takes into consideration the work you truly put in
Most amazing, inspiring and caring professor i have ever had. He really cared that we understood the material before we took any test. He was much flexible for all students. Very fair in grading. Plus, I have never had a professor who would bring us so much food: pizza, donuts, bagels, and many soft drinks. I would take him again even for fun!
Hybrid class. I never took Chemistry and I was scared Dr. Audi is flexible and good at responding to emails. A lot of reading/listening. Do the HW/extra credit. Don't fall behind it is a B*** to catch up! You will pass if you do the work. Listen to him when he says to get started on work and stay ahead! Make sure you use videos to study for test!
Dr. Audi Rocks!!!! Take him you will know.
I've never met a professor that wants his students to succeed more than Dr. Audi. He provides the class with online lectures in case you missed anything during class. He's more than willing to stay after class to go over tests if he has time. He's very fast at responding to emails, and is just so caring. If you try hard, you'll do great
Chemistry is hard. Dr, Audi is flexible and caring. While it is not easy to pass the class you will get lots of opportunity if you apply yourself. He is resourceful and always willing to help. Just ask you won't regret it. If you have taken 120 with him, 121 is not as easy. But 120 certainly helps. Chemistry is doable and exciting with Dr. Audi.
Ahmad is one of the best professors I've ever had the privilege of meeting. He is flexible, helpful, and WANTS you to succeed in his class. Labs are lots of fun and field trips are interesting. You need to keep up with the work so you don't drown, but it's really not that bad.
Dr. Audi is very nice. He answers emails very quickly. He is available on blackboard collaborate so that we can ask him questions. He is always open to give you another chance. Although this class is online, he makes me feel that I am his only student, unlike many others. I have never had an instructor like him who wants his students to succeed.
Pr Audi is the most caring, understanding, nice and professional professor I have had in my entire life. He is always their to help students. His class consists of online lectures and a lot of homework. he is very good with computerizing chemistry content and posts explanatory videos on blackboard. I highly recommend him for CHEM120/CHEM121/CHEM122
First off, I took this class as a summer hybrid class meaning that all lectures were online and we only met for exams and labs. I found him to be a great person but he did not have realistic expectations for the class. To complete the work he wanted you couldn't have a life. Also, personally, I feel like his voice is very loud and unsettling.
I have taken this class elsewhere, then I heard about Dr. Audi. Dr. Audi Rocks. He is the best instructor I have had. Chem 2 is not the easiest class, but he has enough resources that if you want to learn then you have to take him. A silly student thought taking this class in the summer should be good for a vacation.
He has everything perfectly set up. Lots of resources to succeeed. Loves to help. Let you work at your own pace. Very flexible. Best instructor I have ever had. Very nice grading. Very generous with food too:)
This class is very nicely set up and engaging. Ahmad is very helpful when needed. He cares and want you to achieve your potential.I was not interested in chemistry in the first place but now I am thinking of taking more chemistry classes. He has good CHM142 Labs and field trips. It is the best science class I have ever had.
Take Dr. Audi if you suck at science. Pros: After tests, he lets you look over answers you got wrong and re-work them for partial credit. He takes into account the students who are really putting in effort and does his best to get them the best grade possible. Let's you put off a test if you aren't ready. Cons: hard to understand sometimes.
Dr Audi has his art in making you learn chemistry a step at a time. Make sure you follow all his tips. He has some little extra credit but it is harder than regular required work. So no free lunch but he literally brings free pizza for students:) Labs are awesome. You can even watch them before you come to class. So you will know exactly what to do
He was a very good teacher helped me out a lot will 100 percent go again. takes lots of time to help us out of class to. The class was really difficult for me but at the end he is a good teacher. He gets out of his was to make sure you succeeded in his class.
Had him for both 121 and 123 and he is great! He truly cares about his students learning the material and will work with you on grading if you're putting in the work to learn the material. The tests are hard, but the work he assigns preps you pretty well for them. So do the assignments!!!
Ahmad was a great professor! I took his class online anytime for the fall semester. It was a little difficult for labs due to the fact of not being able to do the labs. But he put great videos up for you to watch like you were in the lab. There was a lot of homework and quizzes but he prepares you very well before them. I would highly recommend!
Definitely the hardest course I have taken. If you put your blood sweat and tears into this course you will pass. Professor Audi is super kind and lenient, but he encourages you to do well. If anyone were to take any sort of chemistry class with any professor, highly recommend taking him.
Professor Audi is one of the best professors Ive had during my time in college. Even though classes are online at the moment, he really works with the students to make sure they understand the class. He is very gracious and flexible on every assignment. I 100% recommend taking one of his classes!
THE WORST. His class is mostly watching pre-recorded lectures which he grades you on depending how much hours you watch per week - he expects UNREASONABLE hours a week! You'd think he'd be more understanding since we're in a pandemic & people have other classes/jobs/family but he doesn't care at all. And exams are 100x harder than lectures/hw.
Online only class. Tried reaching out to professor for midterm. He stopped emailing back until we passed the midterm and spring break. Midterm was on lock down browser he stated ch 1-7 but had questions from ch 8. Reading, lectures, homework and quiz every week but midterm and final worth 50% of grade .
He is a good person overall but his way to teach can be very difficult to understand, if you do not want a life during this then take it, but you have assignments due every day and when in class we went through it he did not know how his own OWL assignments work. This is not a class you can take while working or having a family.
Run while you still can. It is May 11 and he just started grading an assignment from February 22nd. Yet he expects you to have everything done two weeks ahead of time. He only has 4 tests plus the final. You basically dont have to do work and just get an A in the test to pass. All the negative comments are true. Dont let the high rate trick you.
I was intimidated by the amount of homework and lectures in the beginning, but Professor Audi really wants you to learn the material and succeed. He gives every opportunity to ask questions and with it being an online only course, the one day/week he sets aside as a live zoom meeting was great thing to have to help move through the coursework.
Professor Audi is an excellent professor and genuinely wants his students to learn. He makes time for his students by having multiple office hours and being flexible with due dates as long as you talk to him. Lots of extra credit opportunities and exams are not too difficult. One of the best professors/classes I've had
This professor gives out free pizzas on a whim! Besides that, his tests and quizzes can be a challenge, but I made sure that I went to tutoring as much as possible. He is will to explain whatever is confusing about lecture. Due to early covid, the lab videos were terrible, but I was able to email him to explain the issues.
Please Do Not take his class! I bet you will have the toughest semester ever you would have if you take his class. He is a genuinely good person, however, the amount of homework is extremely a lot, ( you can expect more than triple the times than any regular class) and the exams are super tricky. Take any other class that will save your life.
If you want to learn the chemistry, Dr. Audi is the best instructor. He makes learning chemistry a great experience! He is thorough and expect students to put in the needed time. If you want an easy grade w/o learning, definitely do not take him. He has built a great system with lots of resources and is "very" flexible to make students succeed.
Professor Audi is genuinely one of the nicest, most understanding, respectful, and most knowledgeable professors I know. While the class does provide a lot of work, it's definitely manageable so that you can do well on your tests. You can always talk to him because he really wants the best for his students and it shows.
Very helpful professor! Goes out of his way to help us. I took CHM 123 with him too. Very generous, patient, resourceful and caring. Gives multiple attempts and plenty of opportunities to understand and get a better garde.
Excellent Instructor! Look no further! Always available to help his students. Arranges well with tutors. Gives printouts for any of the PDF that are available on Canvas. Makes lab fun and has most of the challenging questions solved for us by videos. I wish he teaches all chemistry courses I need and even more. Best instructor ever! Returning Stu.
Take Dr. Audi even if the first few meetings seem to be overwhelming. He has a very particular way that he needs students to learn. Once learned enjoy multiple attempts at many assignments. Very generous with Pizza, donuts, and grades. Phenomenal knowledge of chemistry and phenomenal CARE for students to learn. Best Teacher ever!
Seems to care and be helpful and gives good feedback. He is a very harsh grader and over explains constantly. Seems to make thing much more complicated than they need to be and takes forever to explain problems. Super picky as a grader and will give you a ton of busy work.
Dr. Audi is the best professor. He is very thorough and clear. He teaches with high standards but he is very flexible and affords many opportunities for us to score the highest grades possible. He gives us many chances to recorrect our work to get a better grade. I wish he teaches every class I have to take.
I tired other chemistry professors at CLC and different institutions, Dr. Audi is the best. He is the most knowledgeable about chemistry but he makes it the easiest and most fun. He gives most feedback and multiple attempts, he is the most high-tech, and the most available and caring for his students. Look nowhere else if you want to learn.
Dr. Audi is always available for students. He is thorough and nice. Do not take him if you think it fits your schedule and assume that ratings here means not much work. Take him if you want to have learn well and get good grade. You get all the good resources. If you are only for a good grade and not much learning look elsewhere.
Dr. Audi is a fantastic chemistry professor. He genuinely cares for all of his students and pushes everyone to be the best they can be. He gives out lots of extra credit and explains what you are doing wrong regarding assignments. He has a great sense of humor and is the reason I have regained my enjoyment of learning chemistry.
Enjoys chemistry and teaching. The material is challenging By Dr. Audi makes it easy and fun.
Best professor to take. Gives multiple chances and good grades for good effort. But if you do not want to learn do not take him. He will make sure to give lots of work at the beginning and to follow his instructions. But if you try and apply yourself you will get a very generous grade. Never Give up!:)
Honestly he just talks to much, he makes students confused with all the talking and videos he has instead of teaching. To me his teaching technique are very bad
Dr. Ahmad is the best. He has detailed instructions and makes "chemistry" fun. I was so scared, but his flexibility and care make learning chemistry easy. He opened the class earlier and had detailed instructions and super helpful videos. Initially, I felt it was hard then I got the hang of it and it was a breeze. Be lucky to get into his classes.
Awesome! Chemistry is difficult. Dr . Ahmad makes it fun and easy. Gives many chances to learn and prepare for quizzes and tests. Many little assignments helped secured a good grade I was not able to dream of in chemistry. While he is a generous grader he prepares us for the hardest tests. After his class you feel prepared for graduate school:)
If you really want to learn and get a good grade, then take Dr. Audi. If you just need a passing grade or easy grade run as far as you can. He has quite a few short easy to do assignments to make sure you go one step at a time. Chemistry is one of the hardest and few students complain about the amount of work, but I found it needed to understand.
If you are looking to understand some chemistry and get a good grade, then look no more. Always available, understanding, patient, and flexible. Wants you to pass and really cares. If you are fooled by nice reviews here and want an easy grade with not much work, look for another instructor. I had high-class and fun chemistry with Dr. Audi.
Best professor you can have. Accommodating, friendly make a hard subject easy to learn. Have magical ways to keep you on the right track to finish with good mastery of the contents and a good grade. Teaches with fast lecturing and many opportunities to practice. Patient even with bad behaving students! Keeps positive welcoming learning atmosphere.
Amazing Dr. Audi! If you do not have him you are missing a lot of essential learning and fun chemistry!
Amazing, amazing professor and coach! Helps a lot, friendly, but pushes the limits of his students. Don't quit if he does not bring it up. Very loved by his students. Took him last year and I wish he teaches more classes, especially after experiencing more professors.
Easy class! Streamlined to have no issues. Good information. This is not a hard chemistry class but still teaches good chemistry. It should have a number 101 or 101, not 140. Students might think it is harder than the other advanced chemistry classes of 120 and 121.
Want to learn good chemistry and get a good grade? Dr. Audi is your best bet! I am so surprised he gets any negative feedback. But I guess there is always someone who wants an easy grade without work. Dr. Audi is very fair when it comes to grading but wants the students to learn fun "college" chemistry.
If you take him, have fun! He reminds me of my clinically narcissistic father. Constantly setting the bar higher and higher so you can never win. Come back to this when you inevitably drop the class! Take him if you have no job, no family, no partner, no friends, no hobbies, no pets, no life. Take Kurbanov instead. He's great.
Great Professor! Has lots of resources for his students who want to truly learn. DO NOT take him for his great reviews thinking you will pass the class even if you do not study. It is true he is caring and flexible but he does not cut down on necessary chemistry. You will certainly have fun studying and in labs.
Super professor Audi! I wish we had many clones of Dr. Audi for every college subject! High Class Instructor!
Yes, Ahmad makes his students work hard to learn well. If you stick till the end, you get the best grade you ever dreamed of with his generous curve. Do not give up! If you get overwhelmed, he is available. He is really nice to talk to and is very flexible. He really cares to help his students learn and get the best grade. The best of all worlds!
Dr. Audi is very understanding and generous. He never made feel bad when I asked for an extension. He is very accommodating and always cared even with ill-mannered students. He is very patient and give multiple attempts to improve. I highly recommend him for any student who is willing to take a hybrid flexible course.
While Dr. Audi is easy and flexible, the material is challenging. He provides a lot of resources and he is always helpful. His friendliness and care for his students makes this class easier to go through. I have to say as a student who has been to other universities, that Dr. Audi raises the bar high but at the same time is generous with grading.
Dr. Audi is the best professor you can wish to have. Chemistry is hard and demanding but his care and resources coaches students well for advanced classes. I know other instructors who are easy but do not have the contents for later courses. He starts the class hard but at the end gives retake opportunities to improve grades.
Professor Audi is a caring instructor who really wants students to succeed. The work is challenging but manageable with engagement. unstuckstudy and the provided resources are super helpful for exam prep.
Dr. Audi is the best professor if you plan on taking flexible hybrid chemistry classes. He gives multiple chances to improve and covers good chemistry. He has plenty of helpful videos for the students. Taking his class will leave a positive impact on your future college experience.
Chemistry is hard, Ahmad makes it easy. I highly recommend him. You won't regret it.
Never worry about your grade with Dr. Audi even it looks you are failing. Just keep doing what is on the list and you should be good. Plenty of resources and help. We started the class overwhelmed but everything was super smooth at the end. We even had chances to improve our grade. Highly recommend.
Coach Ahmad is very interesting and make his class even more interesting. He certainly pushes the bar high, but he is very motivating and caring and provides lots of help and resources. He is also very generous. He is one of a kind. You will not only learn chemistry. He kips the class under control, positive and focused. I recommend him.
I am a returning student and I have my bachelor. I took this class elsewhere and did to make any sense and the teacher would not care when students are failing. Dr. Audi is the best teacher you can have. The chemistry with him makes a lot of sense and his style is very educational. It prepares for toughest class you might have to take. He cares.
No worries about grades with dr. Audi. Only try to learn as much as you can. He has an art to make you work for your grade. Divides work into small doable bites. That is why it might look overwhelming at the beginning of the semester.
We love Dr. Audi! He is caring to teach and caring to get us good grades. He gives us many opportunities even though he ends up grading multiple times. But do not think you will get an easy grade if you do not learn. You have to be motivated to learn, and you have to control your stress about the grade. Do not skip and do not give up!
Dr. Audi is one of the best science professors I've ever taken. He is one of those teachers who genuinely cares about you and wants you to pass. I don't think I would have been able to pass chemistry if it wasn't for him. Truly a great professor. I recommend this professor for any student, especially the ones who struggle in chemistry.
Highest Quality that there is! He cares to keep it cool:)!
Dr. Audi is very flexible with deadlines and attempts. He still offers solid college chemistry class with good every day chemistry. He makes the contents the easiest chemistry and science class. Do not get turned off that he uses lockdown. It might seem tough at the beginning, but you will learn later that he allows multiple attempt because of it.
Dr. Audi is a true Science coach. He means to educate the students from the first day. He gives many chances to catch up if you fall behind. He provides lots of help through pre-recorded videos and being readily accessible for student help outside the classroom. I wish we have more like him. Do not take him if you are not interested in learning.
If you want to learn, get a good grade and at the same time have a teacher who supports you, then Dr. Audi is it. He does not waste time about personal stories like some other teachers. He is very kind and always works with you as long as you keep working, even beyond deadlines, weekends, holidays and what have you.
Good resources to learn chemistry at ease. Detailed instructions for those who read. Makes me want to become a chemist. Ahmad understands we have a lot as online students so he is flexible with deadlines and gives multiple attempts for tests to get a better grade.
Amazing professor. Helps you understand and succeed. Accommodates his students needs.
Dr. Audi is the best. The material is heavy, but his lectures are really helpful. There are a lot of assignments, but if you do them you don't really need to study. He is really supporting, you just have to talk to him if you have any problems. Most of the questions from the online quizes are actually on your tests.
Prof. Dr. AAA deserves an A😂. Don't be overwhelmed by the assignments at the beginning of class. Many of these assignments are cut into smaller chunks so that they are time manageable. Some are even just based on watching a video, on completion or just typing completed. Many students drop but retake him when they see other chem instructors.
Makes time for students who put effort in. Difficult course but he is good at helping you understand if u ask. He thinks he's funny, which is kinda funny.
Easy professor for those who try. Very resourceful. Enjoys what he does. Helps his students any time they ask even outside regular office hours. He keeps an encouraging learning environment even with moody difficult students.
Took Dr. Audi a while back and barely passed. If it were not to his generous care, support, and curve, I would have failed just as happened before with another instructor. Took him again recently to improve my grade. The resources improved and made it easier. He really means to teach. I am glad I had him again. Best Chemistry Professor!
Very smart generous and gracious. Best Chemistry Professor you can have. Period.
Great teacher. Gives many chances for grade security. Will make you learn chemistry in a fun way. Can't wait to take CHM I and CHMII with him.
Dr. Audi is truly one of the best. He cares about his students and goes above and beyond to help them all succeed. Whether you're catching up with work or not understanding a topic, he is always willing to help you. It's not every day you find a professor who can make you laugh and help you pass. recommend taking this class if you get the chance.
Great Professor! Helps reviewing CHM121 also. Feels more comfortable taking more challenging chemistry classes.
I had to drop but I will be taking him again. Dr. Audi really cares to train his students in science very well. Very nice! He prints most of what you need and gives free snacks.
Dr. Audi first priority is helping his students learn chemistry. He is funny and make chemistry fun to learn. I highly recommend him.
Best teacher I have ever had.
Great way to spend the summer learning! Very efficient and fun. Not for the weak hearted. High drop rate in the first week. It pays to be brave.
We love Dr. Audi!
Dr. Audi has very command of chemistry and teaching skills. He is true coach. He pushes your limits to learn well and with fun. But it is true as someone rated him before that if you think you can get an easy grade without much work because of the great rating here, look elsewhere. As Dr. Audi says, work hard and the good grade comes very easily.
Very flexible and gives many opportunities to improve. Makes hard chemistry class doable.
Nicest and kindest professor I have had.
The amount of homework is insane. The online lectures were overwhelming so many videos for every small topic. The labs were in person, but they weren't really helpful because he talks a lot. He doesn't grade on time, when he finally does, you lose a lot of points for small details. 25 students at the beginning at the end only 9 still in the class.
Dr. Audi helps his students a lot. This semester, it is a hybrid class, lectures are online. We meet for labs, help, and tests. Although, he has lot of resources for us, we love that he takes the time to explain clearly what needs to be done in the lab. Otherwise, we will not enjoy applying the information we learned in the lecture.
Dr. Audi is a dream come to true for me to learn chemistry. I have taken chemistry before and did not do well because the other teacher did not assign enough serious homework. I like that Dr. Audi has broken his assignments into doable almost daily refreshers and has for us enough grade security in doing so. He is highly rated because he cares.
Took Dr. Audi for CHEM 120 and now 121, he is the best instructor. I will be taking him for 123 as well. He is very flexile with the students and cares to make them learn, he allows multiple attempts. Thus he does lots of grading and provides good feedback. He sets the bar high but he is also generous with the grade, but not easy.
Happy Thanksgiving Dr. Audi ! Took him last year after taking 121 and 120. Amazing professor! :) Really teaches and cares for his students to learn and get good grades. Writes good recommendations for his students. I wish he taught more classes. All the best.
He is an amazing person, but his teaching style isn't for me (He does hybrid). I struggled until the very end and needed to withdraw so it wouldn't screw up my GPA. If you're able to stay on top of things, then you'll be fine. He gives MANY assignments, so be prepared for that. Make sure not to fall behind/stay ahead; otherwise, you're screwed.
Stay on top of things and you will be good. He breaks down the assignments into smaller assignments so they are manageable and engaged. Give many chances to improve grades and gives many optional practices on quizzes and exams that do not affect your course grade but help you get ready for quizzes and tests. He really cares.
Dr. Audi is a very nice and kind professor. Few times I fell behind but he generously reopened some of the assignments for me and other students and encouraged us to keep trying. He grades even the optional assignments that do not count for the course grade so that we learn better. He really cares. He even brings healthy snacks for the class.
Amazing. Chemistry is tough but he has plenty of videos to help you. You need to make time to watch them. He gives almost all answers and makes sure you understand. At the same time do not try to cheat, he will catch you. He keeps the learning bar high but uses a generous mysterious curve for those who stick around.
Dr. Audi writes good letters of recommendations for his students. He is very kind and supportive. But maybe you have to be like me, a good student:)
Chemistry is impossible without Dr. Audi. I like how Dr. Audi keeps us engaged in lab and remotely with this hybrid class. I also like the fact that his classes at the Southlake campus are small classes and are capped at 18. But he was kind to allow me to enroll after the class was capped.
Hes a nice guy dont get me wrong, but he gives out too much homework. IDK how all of these reviews are getting A's and B's all lies. The most i ever got on an exam was 30 percent. Do yourself a favor dont take him, youll need to spend at least 50 hours a week watching his 10 plus year old videos. I saw people actually cheating during exams to pass.
I'm trying to save you poor souls.
He is a very nice teacher and patient teacher even with bad students. He knows what it takes to pass a difficult class of chemistry for students who are coming straight from high schools who lacks the skills and returning students who need to refresh the skills. He has built and is still building resources for students who are sincere to pass.
To continue, he says this class is like two classes lab and lecture. The lecture is online and needs time which some students don't have time for the class and they are enrolled in it and he warned them, but they blame it on he helpful resources. He is the nicest professor even when those bad students try to make a problem.
I think the latest CHM121 negative rating is a student who is trying to get a seat in his popular and full classes. So that is funny. Otherwise, it could be truly a lazy student who want and has no science study skills and thinks that online or CLC should have no rigor. I took him CHEM 120 and 121 and I am waiting to enroll in CHM123.
I talked to Dr. Audi about his negative ratings and he said he believes in what goes around comes around. People who stress themselves and lie they will not be able to sleep if they have any kindness. And if they don't, it would be good to let students know that it takes what it takes to study chemistry. It is not for the weak hearted.
Dr. Audi is the best. But he means you have to learn. Depending where you come from academically, you have to work for it. Some negative ratings lie to their teeth. One claims 25 students enrolled in a capped Southlake campus chemistry class of 18. Another claims saw students cheating to pass and they dropped, ironic.
Late grading, his lectures are heavy , heavy exams. Lack of teaching abilities, stay away for this class. You hard to work extra hard but never grade on time, so you don't know how are you doing on the homework . Only a few people remained in the class just because it was necessary and we pay for the class. Overall, it's not a good class to take.
He gives many chances to improve your grade on assignments, especially at the beginning of his grading. He also offers many optional assignments that he still grades, although they do not affect the course grade. We all know that student who keeps complaining here with her many reposts.
Lecture/test/grade heavy. Grading is very far behind so you'll never know where you stand. More than half the class dropped within first two weeks. Be prepared for min. of 8 hrs lecture material to max. of 22 hours per week plus 10 assignments min. This doesn't include homework time, quizzes, and tests or labs.
