Great professor, don't skip his lectures or tutorials. They are very helpful in understanding the material. Also, on another note, do not look at the solutions manual for this course, it won't help you actually learn the material. Do lots of practice questions.

Amazing prof, horrible class. By far the best lecturer as he writes his own lecture notes with many examples, while other classes focus more on theory. Really wants his students to learn and understand, and is helpful with any questions and often gives hints/advice. Would recommend him, but tests are tough in this class, no matter who the prof is!

English is good, but once or twice a concept was lost in translation so don't be afraid to ask for clarification. He always makes sure you understand before moving on!

Hardest working prof I've ever had. He's in his office available for questions at least 10 hrs a day. He consistently looks for feed back from students for what to improve. Makes his own notes so that you do not have to buy the textbook. Lots of practice questions available for tests. If you put a 1/4 as much effort in as he does you'll do well.

He's a really passionate teacher who is always seeking to improve how he teaches the course. Although he gives lots of quizzes, they are there to ensure you keep up with the course to lessen the burden of finals cramming. The quizzes are fairly easy marks and are great for feedback. He knows what works but will still accommodate for students.

Ahmad was a true gem at the Schulich School of Engineering. Although he does seem to be defensive at times when answering students answers, it's clear that his true intentions are to help his students learn by steering them in the right direction early so they won't get more confused later on in the course.

Ahmad was great in explaining all the theory and tackling the required examples to better understanding concepts. Too much questioning in lecture more than doing a lot of examples, and beware if he will be teaching, he will not curve the final marks at all. However, lecture notes and tutorials are very sufficient. Spring 2018 final was a mess.

Ahmad is an extremely attentive and skilled prof. If you are used to the "copy and paste" method to get through other courses, you won't do well in this course. He is one of the few profs that requires you to use your brain. If you use CHEGG or any other solutions manual in his class, you won't do well. Spring 2018 exam was fair.

Ghasemloonia delivers amazing lectures and provides students with a his own note package so we don't need to buy a textbook. His exams are fair and he provides students with all the practice problems and sample solved problems needed to succeed, plus marking schemes. He is organized, caring, and works ridiculously hard to help his students succeed.

Second year mechanical engineer here. I had to stop attending 3/5 of my lectures because proffs were incredibly bad. Ghasemloonia is the opposite of those three proffs. He not only cares, but he is a great teacher. 10/10 Take him.

Ghasemloonia reinvigorated my interest in physics, specifically engineering related physics by making statics interesting and fun! The exams are fair and very easy to study for (just redo the worksheets in a test situation). He organized this course wonderfully, picked amazing TAs and was generally a great coordinator.

One of the few profs whose lectures are actually worth watching. They may be long but he makes it worth your time as he does many exam type questions. Explains concepts very thoroughly and gives you a realistic idea of what to expect on assessments. Statics was not my thing but he made it enjoyable. Would recommend to take a class with him.

Ahmad organized the class extremely well, provided sufficient practice, and made amazing lectures. The entire teaching team for ENGG 202 is great. This class is a breath of fresh air compared to other first year classes; the work you put in directly correlates to your final result.

This prof would upload weekly videos on D2L. These videos were long but detailed and informative. Watching the videos before a lecture helped me understand the content much better. The weekly worksheets had relevant questions with nothing particularly difficult. This prof was the course coordinator and would sometimes check in on different classes.

Whoever reviewed below is review bombing because they failed. The 202 team had clear grading, gave MANY marks for the process on questions, and more than enough practice to succeed on exams. Yes, exams are long, so practice accordingly! Most students got an A/A+ in this class. Don't expect a curve when the assessment(s) reflects practice 1:1.
