New professor. 2 tests (midterm and exam), 2 HW's, and 2 pop quizzes. Said he was going to give pop quizzes randomly but only gave two at the beginning of the semester. Very unorganized and always lectures from the slides. Never really fully explains the concepts. You basically have to teach yourself. Never tells you what's on the test.

Great, young highly motivated and passionate professor. He tries different methods to see what works best for the class. I was initially optimistic about this class and went to the first several lectures pretty confident. Long story short, the guy is awful at his job. Classes were canceled a lot. Our grading scale was changed and dropped most students by a whole letter grade overnight. I sincerely hope this man is put on probation for crimes against education.

often cancelled classes or turned into online sessions, randomly started taking attendance the last 2 weeks of classes, would go over the same chapter for 2 weeks and then give out hw for chapters we didn't go over yet, exams had the same previous chapters plus new chapters we just learnt, kind of bad at grading making your grade lower.

How can he be a professor when he doesn't teach anything at all? He canceled a lot of classes and didn't provide a study guide for the final exam. This class causes me a lot of stress even though the material is not that hard but he seems to mess anything up. You will regret it if you take him.

Save yourself the trouble and headache by not taking Professor Saboori's class. We had a few assignments, presentation with a paper and two exams. The tests basically dictate if you are going to pass or fail because they are weighed higher. He was never transparent about what to expect on tests. He also takes forever to respond to emails.

By far the worst teacher at CSULB. I wouldn't even call him a professor. He is very disorganized, disrespectful, and terrible at teaching. I have never rated a professor at CSULB because they've all been great, except for Saboori. My whole class was confused throughout the whole semester and we had to teach ourselves the material through google.

Intentionally designed the final to lower grades. Received an 86% and 93% percent on midterms. After the second midterm accused the class of cheating. Makes the final a day or two before the final itself and my version had 8-10 questions repeated. Class average on final was 60% while I got a low C. Almost dropped my grade 2 letters grades from an A

Professor Saboori offers no sophisticated learning experience for students. In addition, he expects students to learn academic subjects by themselves without ever covering the material. Furthermore, his teaching ability is unreasonable and unrelatable to the course. Would only recommend taking 306!
