Really wants his students to succeed, sometimes a little hard to understand but always available after class for questions! Lets you have a large notecard with anything on it for every test.

I think that anybody who struggles in statistics, like me, should try and get Professor Fattah. He has gone out of his way to make himself available to students and has made the word load this semester very easy. I have really enjoyed taking this course.

Ahmed is by far the greatest teacher ever. Ahmed is one of the most intelligent teachers I have had, along with being one of the funniest also. I have never seen a teacher care so much about his students as he has He was always available for help when ever you need it out of class. I always heard that statistics was hard. However, this guy made it easy. Take his advice, if you have questions ask them. He made statistics simple for me, he is always willing to help, and shows you how to get the answers so that you understand them. If you want to get a good grade and actually learn something, then take this professor!

Professor Abdelfattah was one of my favorite professors this semester. His teaching skills are flawless. Tests are not to difficult as long as you attend class, and study.

This is the second time I had to take this class and he was extremely helpful. He stays after school if you need help practically every day. Also he helps your grade with each test you are given 112 points and he only counts it out of 100 great teacher and great class

He gives review guides to each test and goes over it in class before the test. Test are fair and easy and willing to answer any questions. He is always available to meet with you for extra help. Very nice and a great teacher.

This is the greatest professor at ECU. He is very helpful and really knows what he is talking about. If you have to take Math 2283 he is most definately the professor to take. Let me start by saying that this is the second time taking stat. After failing it the first time with a different teacher, i got an A in Mr. Fattah's class. He gives lots of example problems and everything is on blackboard so you don't have to copy everything during class. He makes himself avaliable for help almost anytime. Multiple choice tests

Very good teacher, hes foreign but speaks very good english. All his notes are on BB as well as a very helpful study guide for each test. If you dont understand something he will explain it a different way, also trys to add a little bit of humor to a somewhat dry subject.

Class attendance is important because he gives you bonus points towards your test. But you'll want to go anyway, because he makes the class entertaining and he is just such a nice guy.

This is the best professor at ECU that I've had so far. He has endless ways and opportunities to help you. Class is hard, but he makes it a lot easier to understand. Great at explaining things, can relate to us as students and helps us out when needed. 3 tests, 1 exam, nothing else. Go to class it helps you out greatly even though its not mandatory

Mr. Fattah did a stand up job. Class was strictly lecture, however he never made it boring. Exams were difficult, but he gives you exam reviews that have problems very similar to those on the test. Overall it was an enjoyable class, and I'd reccomend taking him if you need this class.

Mr. Fattah is a very good professor to have for Stat class. For the most part, stat class was gibberish but he was very helpful outside of class to make up for it. He does his best to make it more understandable and usually gives you another chance to correct your mistakes. Generous as hell... you'd want him as a professor.

I RECIEVED A 102 IN HIS CLASS.(ps. i failed statistics the first time around) If you take Professor Fattah for Business Statistics, plan on coming to class every day-as your attendance WILL affect your test grades. He doesn't make you buy the book-instead he uses powerpoints. To get an A just do the homework and test reviews.

He was really good. He explains well and is willing to work with you to achieve the grade you want. He only seems to curve when the majority of the class did terrible but all the tests are open note. He gives practice tests to you to study and highlights all the similar questions (sometimes basically the same) that are on the real tests. I got an A

Professor Fattah made a hard and difficult subject learnable. He has a sincere caring for his students and goes out of his way to encourage students to come to his office for help. His great humor and subtle discipline made you want to attend every class. His test only covered what he lectured and each test was preceded with a review test.

This kind man is the real deal. I took both stats and math 1066 during the same semester. I was blessed to have two awesome instructors who encouraged and embraced their students to come to the teacher's office for help. Dr Abdelfattah is energetic, passionate and not going through the motions like some burned our professores I have had.

Honestly, this class was really boring but Ahmed is a really nice guy and he wants you to do well. If you can pay attention in class you'll do alright. The tests aren't too hard & he gives extra credit if you come to class.

But when I went to his office a day before the tests I was able to understand the material in a few hours. You dont need the book. Just print the practice test and write notes when he goes over it and you will do FINE!!! open book test!

I adivise all ECU colleagues to be when expressing their words about any of their professors and no need to publish what they have got as A, B or .....

The last two test were open note. I think everyone would agree the third(last) exam was the worst so try and do well on those first two, but he helps you out anyways.

He is AMAZING! Will do anything in the world to help you out and always wants to see you get a good grade, work with him and he will work with you!

He is the nicest professor I have ever had. He really wants everyone to succeed. Takes attendance, but allows you to miss a few days. Lets you use cheat sheets on the tests. Go to class, do your work, go to him if you need any help and he will help you. I wish every professor was as helpful as him!!

It's a hard class but Mr. Abdelfattah does everything he can to help you out. Your allowed to miss around 2 days and he lets you use cheat sheets during the exams. I strongly recommend him because he'll help you do well.

His classes fill very quickly. That?s why I waited 2 years to sign up for his class. Let me tell you something. It was worth the wait. I went to his office twice for HW problems. The way he thought me was amazing. He has a crazy amount of office hours. His teaching methods are above and beyond excellent. Thank you Dr. Fattah, for everything!

This teacher is the best! Im not kidding! He not only helps you with your problems you have but he practically does it for you over and over again until you understand it. He will not rest until you are satisfied with your results. I really think that without him, I would had to settle for a C. Instead I got an A! He's a great person as well!

Class wasn't the easiest, but if you go to class and listen, Mr. fattah will try his best to make you and help you understand everything...and of course it pays in the end if you go to class everyday!

Awesome Awesome teacher! Extremely nice, caring and helpful! I hate Math in general but had to take it to graduate. I worked hard and with his help got an A. If you want to do well he'll help you in every way possible but he will not give you a grade (as he shouldn?t)! I would definitely take him again!

Fattah is one of the best professor at ECU, he's very helpful and attendance to his class only works to your favor and final grade. Every time I went to his office for help, even if there were 3 or 4 people in his office, he would make time to help each person. Advice for is class: Go to Class and Ask for Help if you need it. He is a real nice guy

Def. would take him this class is not easy and if you are confused from the start you need to go to him asap he is always available everyday he keeps you informed and is an all around great teacher a little confusing sometimes but not often

Dr. Fattah has 36 pages of Excellent comments. This guy who commented about him horibble things is a probably failing loser. Just read rest of the pages and ask your self why are you the only one misserable?

Its my senior year and by far one of the best professors at East Carolina. He wants his students to do well and is always there to help. The other professors in stats I've heard are a lot harder and not as helpful. So if you get the choice take him he is great!!!

Dr. Abdelfattah is the BEST professor at ECU. Will literally go out of his way to help you. Highly recommend him! Curves test with the square root rule, and is extremely nice. Makes the class interesting with his jokes. TAKE HIM!

Mr. Fattah is the best professor I have had at ECU. He is always willing to help his students outside of class. He has an endless amount of office hours and will assist you with whatever you need! Extremely helpful. If you can get into his class take him. They do fill up quick. If you need help go to his office. He wil explain everything again and again until you understand. He does everything he can to help you do well. Go to class, do the study guides. He curves on some test.

Mr. Fattah is the man! Statistics is a very tough course but he will help you out beyond belief. I strongly encourage you to take him.

There is some people waiting 2 semesters to get one of his classes. His classes fills up so quickly. He is so popular, the BEST teacher you can ever get for such a HARD class!If you see any opening one of his classes just grab it as fast as you can.I was honor to be in his class.

He is the sweetest most caring teacher. He is a one of a kind teacher who is there to make sure you succeed in his class. If you didnt understand the material he would sit there with you until you understood everything that was going on. Definately recommend this teacher THE BEST EVER!!!!!!!!!

He is just absolutely awesome. He really tries everything to help you. He is really understanding and will work with you through any conflict. He makes stats not so boring and we all know how stats can be. I really recommend taking him, because if it weren't for him I probably would be taking stats again.

Dr. A is AWESOME!!! He goes above and beyond to make sure that you learn. He goes over the homework in class before you turn it in. He also gives exam study guides, and lets you have a full page of notes when you are taking exams. Most of what is on the practice exam is on the actual exam. He is the best Math Professor @ ECU. I love this guy!!!

He is an extremely great profesor. He give so much extra credit that you should be able to make at least a B or A. I took this class over the summer and most of my classmate didnt do so well on the 2nd exam. There was only 2 people that pass but he gave us a big curve and I went from having a F on the 2nd exam to having a C. Take him!!!!!

Professor Fattah is as good as it gets when it comes to Math Professors at ECU. He made a difficult course easy to understand and comprehend, as well as manageable in terms of doing well on Exams. If you attend class everyday and take notes there is absolutely no reason not to succeed in this course. He is always in his office to help out as well.

Great professor. Very energetic (even at 8 am). Passionate about the subject. Considers students as his own children and is very willing to help all students. Pay attention in class and do homework and you will do great in class. Go to class and do fine. Subject not easy but he makes it easy to understand and creates comfortable atmosphere.

Professor does everything he can to help you succeed in class. He keeps a good pace with the subject material. If you do your homework in this class and take advantage of study guides, you'll do well.

Mr. Abdelfattah is one of my favorite professors yet at ECU. He is extremely helpful and actually cares about the success of his students. The course itself is moderately difficult, but as long as you attend class regularly and take notes, you should do fine.

Fun teacher. Very excited about the subject. A little difficult to understand at times, but if you go to him for help it's definitely worth it! He wants you to pass so he takes the time to explain when you see him one-on-one. Highly recommend him.
