I took Dr. Sleman for Programming and Data Structures. Although my major is Biology so it was a harder class for me to grasp, he was always available to answer any questions I had. He thoroughly reviewed the materials, was understanding and patient, and thorough with his responses. He truly cares about his student's success.

Dr. Sleman is a great professor, but be ready to work hard if you want to succeed! The homework reinforced concepts well. He was very prompt with email replies. Dr. Sleman is very clear on what to expect. If you take the quizzes, utilize the study guides/powerpoints, and do the practice assignments, an A is highly attainable. He is very responsive. It's not an easy class but with a little work you can do well. Quizzes give many attempts to make a 100 so use that to your advantage.

The class was very straightforward. Read the book so that you understand the Java syntax. Turn in your projects and follow the instructions and get an easy 100 pts. Ask questions before the weekly coding explanation zooms so that he can go over those question for you.

I took CSCI 1250, the class is fairly easy, Dr Sleman does weekly Zoom calls and you can ask questions and get hands on help. A really EASY A, just turn in your assignments and study for your tests, all of the tests are based on the quizzes and assignments (same questions) review/study and you will pass. The only downside is that he proctors exams!

Dr. Sleman is really helpful and holds weekly Zoom sessions, which provide a great opportunity to ask questions. It's definitely a class where you can earn a good grade with minimal stress. The only thing to keep in mind is that exams are proctored. I've taken multiple classes with different professors, and he is by far the best at the university.

Do the work and you can pass the class. All the information is given to you. If you have any questions, Professor Sleman or Alkadi will not hesitate to answer them. Be sure to watch or attend the weekly zooms. They are helpful.

No mystery questions on exams due to clear communication about the exam prior. Read the book and take the quizzes and you won't need to study much at all.

Ahmed Sleman is an outstanding instructor who teaches CSCI 4103 Operating Systems at LSUA with expertise and enthusiasm. His ability to explain complex topics like process scheduling, memory management, and file systems in a clear and relatable way makes the course both engaging and accessible.

Professor Sleman has a deep understanding of Operating Systems and presents the material in an engaging way that allows students to connect theoretical concepts to real-world applications. Overall the course is well-organized with clear expectations and logical progression of topics. He is always willing to help students outside of class hours.

I found Dr Sleman to be available if you needed help or clarification on a point or two. He'd always get back to you within 24 hours and almost always, same day. As long as you don't wait until the last minute for your questions (something I'm trying to break out of doing myself), you could get the help you need.

This class was pretty difficult, at the beginning it was rough. However after I started communicating with Professor Sleman, he was able to help me understand a lot of the material. Make sure you read the assign readings and/or ask for help. Understanding the material is crucial for test.

Although I never met him in person, Ahmed Sleman seems like a good professor. He did a great job explaining the material when there was a schedule zoom meeting, he replies to every email in a timely fashion, and he even tried to help me with my person project. In my book, that says a lot.

I recommend doing the programming exercises, they helped me a lot and most of the questions off the tests and quizzes are a reference to those problems! Super helpful and easy to reach professor with laid back discussion board posts. Great class, learned a lot!

This was an online class on Object-Oriented Design. I already had experience with OOP through internships and personal projects, but Professor Ahmed was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful in answering emails and providing resources!

I took the accelerated 100% online program where each course is 7 weeks long. Because the pace was faster, there was a lot of readings and outside studying necessary for better understanding. Dr. Ahmed Sleman was active and attentive with course work and very easily accessible when questions arise. Very clear instructions on how to succeed.

He was very upfront about what he expected. There were plenty of quizzes/HW assignments that kept the weight of the exams from being overwhelming. The lectures were infrequent but when we did have them I appreciated how many opportunities for participation and questions he included.

Dr. Sleman was awesome. Class work was practical and what you'll need to do in the real world. His grading criteria was clear and fair. There were two textbooks but he provided links to the free online pdf.

Great professor, I definitely recommend if you need to take Computer Science courses. He doesn't require much interaction with online courses but take advantage of the online meetings. He explains and works through tough concepts well.

Dr. Sleman is knowledgeable and cares about your success. He explains the concepts very well. The class did go from 0 to 60quick in regards to the final project, but it was fairly graded as were the exams. As far as the exams go- if you pay attention to the quizzes you won't have any problems with the exams. 10/10- would definitely take again.
