This professor is really good! I'm good and I understand math, but some of the things I didn't learn, he clarifies. He does very well teaching. He makes sure to go over things repeatedly so that you pass his quizzes/exams and you understand. Ask questions, attend class because he does head count, try your best and you'll pass his class.

He has the patient to teach and tries to explain everything simple and straight forward.! Good professor who wants you to learn and helps you if you don't understand. Can be confusing with explanations at times, but will be very patient. Quiz every Monday, homework due every Wednesday. Final is not too hard. A on Final = A in class !!

Professor Lenh is very kind. He is very good at explaining difficult concepts in class. Because of him, I enjoyed Statistics. He is helpful and always there if someone has a question.

His lecture is pretty clear and comprehensive. His homework list is usually long but it helps you to get familiarized with the problems and ultimately, scoring the tests. Highly recommended. He is one of the best teachers that I've ever taken.

Mr. Aiken is a great professor. I took STAT50 with him Summer Session II 2014. He's a funny, smart, and kind professor. He really cares about his students. We had homework due every week, quizzes everyday, and tests every week. He also gave two extra credit projects. Its not a hard class if you honestly try your best.

I took Prof. Lenh's class for the second summer session at Pasadena City College. Thankfully, as challenging as this course was, this professor was able to fit 11 chapters less than a month and I understood enough to earn a B. He is a great teacher & definitely take advantage of the extra credit projects (If he offers them)!

TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!!! Easily my favorite prof in PCC. I took this class during summer, and I came in knowing it was a challenge.. BUT he made the class fun and the hard subject much easier to understand! Plenty of EC, hw due on exam days. Also, do your hw! listen in lectures! You will receive AT LEAST a B in the class! A if you just work for it :)

Excellent Professor!!! Statistics is very hard and challenging, but with his good lectures, you will be able to understand the topics before the class ends. Attending the lectures, doing homework everyday, asking questions in the class if you are confused (He always answers the questions), and taking good notes, then you will see this class EASY!!!

He's a professor. Comes off as a difficult grader, but does everything in his power to help you understand and pass the class. Tough class but statistics isn't easy. I highly recommend taking Mr. Lenh.

He gives some extra credit. I did all the HW and the project. He drops your lowest test score and adds points to your final. I dreaded my final grade because of tests, but because I did everything else I had a C!! If you're a slacker, don't take him, if not.. take him. After my final grade I think he's a good professor who is pretty helpful.

Lenh cares a lot. Does everything he can to help struggling students. I was never good at math and got a B in his class. Do the hw and study for tests and you will pass. He assigns extra credit so TAKE ADVANTAGE!!! Good luck, if you do your work you WILL pass

The best statistics teacher in the world. Super nice, lenient, and willing to help you as much as he can. I struggled alot in stats in high school, but this professor knows his stuff and will make sure that you will pass. Getting an A is very doable if you work hard. A lot of people in the class got As. Best math professor! He gives students so many opportunities to pass the course. As long as you attend class, do the homework on time, participate, take advantage of his extra credit, and do well on the exams you will be sure to pass the course.. what is pretty amazing is that if you pass the final with an "A" you pass the course with an "A".

He's a great professor! I took him during the summer, so quizzes were given every day. However, he was really helpful and pretty funny. He often went over the problems after you finished copying the notes. You can get 5% extra credit for going to tutoring at the main campus, but honestly, just take notes & pay attention in class and you'll do fine!

I would not have earned an A without Lenh as my professor! He wants you to understand, and will help you for as long as you need if you're struggling. DO THE HOMEWORK and pay attentionyou will succeed. Practice and study for each test and ask questions. Good math profs are so hard to come by. I'm awful at math but would absolutely take him again.

Lenh is one of the finer math instructors at PCC. Even with Lenh's heavy accent, the lectures were overall engaging and informative. There will be a lot of (and I mean a LOT) of homework and exams; my class had 7 exams total with 6 mid terms and a final. However, in the end, you will have formed a solid foundation on introductory statistics.

Honestly one of the silliest professors ever without even trying. If you show you really care, he'll love you. Calc over summer definitely isn't easy, but he will try SO hard to make sure you really understand. I wish he taught 5B at PCC. Gives extra credit and may adjust exam grades depending on the class average via test corrections.

Took Math5A during summer, and honestly took this professor blindly. Professor Lenh is an amazing teacher, really cares about the students, and gives plenty of chances to secure an A. Given it was a summer class, the pace was neck-break (i'm weak in math) but if you work your tail off, you can get the A. An amazing teacher, diamond in the rough.

Man, this guy is great. Took 5A over summer and was terrified by the thought of it. However, Professor Lenh gave clear and understandable lectures, which made it very digestible, even in 6 short weeks. He assigned a lot of homework, but also gave us a break on it when necessary. Gave more extra credit than I thought was allowed. :). Take him!

Professor Lenh is an amazing professor! The class isn't easy nor is it too hard, but if you study enough you'll be fine and he was pretty lenient with the homework. He is extremely nice and at times he is funny when he doesn't even try to be. Would highly recommend this professor and if I have to take another math class, I would take him again.

I took this class in the winter and Professor Lenh made the class feel less stressful and really took the time to make sure all of his students understood everything. He makes everyone stay engaged in the class and tells you exactly what he expects from you. Take him for Stats you will pass as long as you study and ask questions.

If you study and work hard, you could get a good grade from his class. He is funny and caring. He is the best choice for math courses.

There was about 5 exams and a final. The study guide is a replica of the test with numbers switched around. So study them. There are a lot of extra credit opportunities, and an incentive to attend class every day. He has a bit of an accent but still is understandable. If you struggle a bit he'll slow down and explain things until you get it.

Prof. Lenh is knowledgeable and caring, yet hard to reach outside of class. 5 exams, a final, daily take-home problem, and 5 HW (due on exam dates). EC for attending tutoring. Exams are like the study guides, but WAY harder -don't get tricked! Know your materials inside out is key. U can get an A if u ace the final. I worked super hard!

I took him over summer break and do not regret taking his class. His lectures were like if he taught in a different language and then he would take time to go through it until we understood. HW is alright. Extra credit throughout class so pay attention! Quizzes/midterm/final were easy if you study and do the study guides multiple times. TAKE HIM!!

Do all your work and you should be good. Gives 5% extra credit to help however you need to put in the hours (50) to get it. Work early on it instead of cramming it into the last few weeks. Tests are easy and based of lecture. Grading is easy scale if you work hard for it. Understand the materials or ask questions.

I never liked any math related subjects cause my brain couldn't handle it well. But Professor Lenh explained everything clearly. He may have a thick accent, but he teaches the subject well and better than my past math prof. Expect a lot of homework, but it will really help you as a practice. He gives study guides that will be similar to the tests

If you put in the effort, he will do his best to help you learn the concepts. Lots of homework and study guides to go over/review. No MyStatsLab was needed but you will need the book AND the correct calculator. Attendance is mandatory and you must complete ALL assigned homework. He gives some extra credit for "tutoring" @ PCC. Has a sense of Humor!

He is such a great Professor! He offers extra credit opportunities and his study guides are super helpful. Be sure to do your part and show up to class and do your homework! And if you are struggling, he offers extra credit to those who go to the tutoring center. It's a difficult subject, but if you put in the work, you will succeed!

Lots of homework, but in a reasonable amount and attendance is mandatory. Having an A is possible, as long as you come to class, turn in the homework assignments daily and ace the final exam. He gives out mock exam worksheets that are similar to the test and final exam. As long as you pay attention and study the hints that he gives you'll get an A

Awesome math professor. Very thorough, organized, & cares for every single student's understanding. There are 6 exams+final, no quizzes. Exams are easy & are almost same as the study guide. He offers up to +5% for final grade in e.c. (spend 50 hours at math center). If your attendance is great, your grade on the final is your final course grade.

hands down the best math teacher ive ever had. he really cares about his students and wants everyone to do well. I found his lectures easy to follow and the exams were almost exactly like the study guides. I would recommend this prof to anyone.

Had a tough semester but was able to get an A with all the opportunities he gave us throughout the semester to improve our grade. Final exam grade replaces the lowest test score and an A on the final exam will be an automatic A as the final grade. Also, C on the final guarantees a pass in the class. A solid choice but you have to work for it.

Professor Lenh was GREAT! He really tries to get everyone to participate in his lectures. When we switched to virtual learning, he still taught the same way he did in class but virtually. If you practice what he teaches and go over your notes you will pass. His midterms are based of the lecture notes. High rec!

Prof Lenh is such a sweet guy. His online class is straightforward, recorded lectures, and exams are open note. Make sure you participate in class (read problems) he offers EC in his lectures if you help solve problems (which are p easy). we had 4 exams and 1 cumulative final. He drops the lowest exam if ur final is higher. Easy A if you try a lil.

I took his class during the winter. He is nice and caring. There are lots of extra credit during the class, so PARTICIPATE! There are a total of 12 chapters, you don't really need a textbook but you will need the lecture note. He has his own lecture note and you just need to fill out the blank which he wrote during the class. Easy A !

I took his winter 2021 class (5-week), there were 12 chapters. And there are 4 exams, 11 quizzes, and 11 homework. Homework and quizzes are super EZ (if you participated during the classes). And He always provides us sample exams before we take exams. The exam looks exactly like a sample exam, and everything is based on his lecture note.

HE IS SO NICE. The quizzes, homework, and exam will be easy if you participate during the classes. He provides us a discussion forum to ask a question about the assignment, sample exam (practice ver.), and extra credit during the class. 4 exams, 11 homework, 11 quizzes, and weekly discussion about what we learned and confused.

This teacher values participation above all else so keep that in mind. I didn't participate and when I would reach out to him outside of class about the assignments he was very dismissive. However, I could still tell that he cared about his students and he explained the concepts very well.

Took his pre-calculus course and I loved his way of teaching. He was very organized with his notes and lectures. Homework is on webassign and quizzes are easy. Gives you a very detailed study guide one week before each exam. The class is not an easy A but if you work hard it's doable. He grades your notes as well.

I had taken this class in fall 2020. Professor Lenh provides notes that you can use on the test with formulas in case you forget anything. They were helpful when I couldn't remember those little things. If you're advanced in math, this class should feel easy (though stats is tedious). If not, you'll still be alright.

The professor had course organized well in Canvas and it was easy to learn. His lecture was very easy to follow and I learned a lot. Exams and quizzes are easy since they are similar to homework. In order to get an A and understand the concepts just pay attention during his lectures, do the online HW and quizzes, and most importantly DO THE STUDY GUIDES. Professor Lenh is a great teacher! Teaches very well and the notes are very structured. He lets you use a formula sheet that you make on each test but it cannot have examples. Tests are exactly like the study guide and he gives extra credit during lectures if you answer questions correctly. Very patient and is very nice.

Just do good on ur exams, theres 6 in total but he drops the lowest grade. He provides extra credit for a lot of things (exams,hw,tutoring et) very lenient if your are able to communicate concerns and issues. Don't miss the notes they're super easy credits, and find a group you can count on. Form study groups or do tutoring.Overall it's manageable.

I always struggled with math and borderline failed all my math courses in high school so I was expecting the same this time around but I ended up passing the course with an A+ because of all the extra credit opportunities he gives. Just show up, complete the homework on time and DO THE STUDY GUIDES they are the same as the exams. Amazing professor
