even if I never wanted to learn French, this instructor males it irresistable.

I never planned on it, but took Mrs. Mootoo for French 101 - 202. She is a wonderful professor with a great personality. Quite the looker too.

She is great. Tests aren't easy unless you prepare well, but it's worth it for the experience of her class. Her classes fill up fast because people love her. I suggest taking a term class with her, so you can get 6 hours of credit at once.

She is definitely the one to take for French classes. She explains everything at length to ensure that everyone understands. You do have to study for her tests, but they're still very feasible. She's fun to listen to and the class is entertaining.

I HATE FRENCH, I love her! She understands how difficult it is so she makes it relative to us as college students. All you have to do is study and participate in class. She offers plenty of extra credit work. Oh, and she wears giant belts!

I wish I had taken Mrs. Mootoo earlier on in my 101, 102, and 201 French classes. She is clear, concise, and just in that one semester helped me to understand a whole new dimension of the French language.

She acknowledges not everyone is on the same level. She will take the time to help and grade you on an individual basis. Ms. Mootoo makes learning French easy and fun. She is very fair and does offer many chances to earn extra credit. Highly recommend!

Easy and interesting... She will do anything to help you understand... There is a quiz almost every class but quizzes are almost word for word on the test... Even with the strict grading scale class is easy...

This class was hard at times but definitely the best french teacher i've had! you have to do a bunch of workbook pages and you have to take an oral quiz at the end but it's not bad because it's just u and her and she's very lenient. you'll have to do compositions for each test so get ready! there is an attendance grade at the end of the semester!

M. Mootoo is great! She is very nice and as long as you do the work, the tests are simple! There are a lot of quizzes, but they are really easy as well, and she offers a lot of bonus :)

I dont want to take a different french teacher now and if i were someone who needed to take french i would wait until i was able to get her as a teacher!

Mrs. Mootoo is great, I def. reccomend her to anyone having to take a foriegn language. She is super nice, and extremely helpful. She posts her study-guides online and gives lots of opportunity to earn bonus. She has a lot of opportunity to earn points with 4 tests, a lot of quizzes (she drops the lowest one), and workbook grades.

M. Mootoo is great. I took this class online, her first semester doing this online. She gives ample amount of time to complete assignments, weekly discussion board for attendance, and on campus tests. As long as you do the work and study, you pass with an A.

she's an awesome teacher. she will help you understand to the best of her ability. actually understands what she's teaching to the class.really concerned about the students tries to incoporate what your learning to real life examples if you attend the class regularly it is hard to not pass with out at least a B i would recommend her for FRENCH

Madame Mootoo is a gem. She is very learned in her subject and is an expert at transferring that knowledge to students. She is always helpful. She helps make it an easy class by explaining everything so wonderfully. One of the best professors at Southeastern, no doubt.

Dude, she is hot! Anyway, she is a really good teacher. Tests can be a bit challenging, but she grades pretty fairly/easy. She is very nice and will explain everything you need to know about a subject. Very good teacher, native French speaker, HIGHLY RECOMMEDED.

She structures her teaching very well, and sometimes we even have parties since she loves food. You should take her. In fact, take her for every french class that you can. You won't regret it.

Very helpful and extremely nice. Put forth the slightest effort and it's an easy A. She does her best to try and make French interesting for you, and regularly has outside-of-class events like parties or movie nights that you actually get bonus points for attending.

I took this class as an online summer course. Just finished finals in it today. It lasted just short of one month. I did very well but teaching yourself French online is not an easy feat to master. Learning in class & being able to hear the pronunciations is much more efficient. However, she is totally awesome, take her!!!!! You will not regret it!

Had her for 102 last semester and will take her next semester for 202. Such an easy class. I did not study even a little bit for any of the tests and made a 96 and two 100s. Also a very nice and fun teacher. Cool personality. Highly recommended.

Madame Mootoo is a wonderful professor. She has a unique teaching style that accommodates those who have difficulty understanding foreign languages. Those who say they didn't learn anything are those who did utilize their study time well. I made an A and I learned a lot. She is funny, nice, and overall a great person to meet. She is a fabulous teacher even though the content is difficult. There are far too many assignments for my liking, there's something nearly every single class on top of online homework and a typed composition due for every test.

I love her. She is willing to help no matter what. She gives you SO MANY resources to learn the material. For instance, in class work, homework, online hw, she even creates YoutTube vids of her teaching so you can watch at home. Theres ample amount of points. If you go to class, you will pass. She's dress really pretty too.

She's super fun and makes the material easy to learn. Her teaching was a balance of written and oral exercises with quite a few group activities. Most of the material was vocabulary, making studying optional. There is no better teacher out there.

Madame Mootoo is honestly the best French teacher I've ever had, and I had in high school. She teaches the material well, and she speaks in French when she teaches (not always) but it really helps you learn. She is so sweet and funny, I thoroughly enjoyed this class. Highly recommend!

I am a Bio major (Senior), and Madame Mootoo is the best professor I have ever had at this university. She has gone above and beyond to help me out in times of hardships. Participate in class, avoid skipping, and you will pass fine. She is lovely to be around and always happy. She gets to know each and every one of her students personally.

Madame Mootoo is the best French teacher I've ever had, probably one of the best teachers I've had in general. She is legitimately caring and often gets to know you personally. She does a great job of teaching the material and explaining concepts as well. You won't find a better teacher for French pronunciation either.

I had a good time in her class. I took Spanish in high school, but heard terrible things about the Spanish profs. Took French for the first time in my life with her, and I have no regrets! I plan to take her for 102 and 201. She gives bonus and plenty of grade boosting opportunities. Foreign language is not really my thing, but i actually learned!

Love love love. I took the term classes for 101 and 102 so it was very fast, but she made it doable and there are several opportunities for extra credit. You have to study and there's a lot of group assignments and oral projects, but she understands nobody is going to leave fluent in French, so the class is extremely doable. And she's SO sweet.

A decent amount of group work, so be prepared for that. She really puts in the effort and you can tell that she is very passionate about teaching French.

Super easy class. Responds to emails quickly. There are 4 tests. Theres 4 extra credit tasks, 4 hwk assignments, a paragraph in French about a given topic, 3 five question quizzes, an oral, & 3-5 forums answering a question for each chapter. Due dates are listed with plenty of time to complete each assignment. Virtual interview last week of school

AMAZING TEACHER!!! Super sweet and caring. You almost have to try to fail, she makes it easy; understands French isn't your major, makes it fun. I took the 2 term classes and they were supposed to be "harder" but I thought they were great. Never a dull day. Take her class!

She's the type of prof that just puts you in a good mood every time you go to her class or speak to her. Her class is an easy A; assignments are easy, tests not too difficult (usually provides study guide), but she ultimately requires you to come to class and to participate. You have to loosen up and not be shy to speak. Do this and you're gold.

One of the best teachers ever! She even convinced me to get a French minor! Super sweet, very helpful, grades fair and gives lots of partial credit. I took her 8am classes (I hate mornings) and I always looked forward to her class! When we went online in spring 2020, she tried to make class just as fun and easy for everyone.

She is very sweet & she cares about your grade! She tries her best to make lectures understandable and she is entertaining while lecturing. The half hybrid, half in-person caused me to struggle a little because zoom classes are boring, but she still did her best! French is not easy but she is a great choice for this class

Mootoo is the best language professor I have ever had. I am in dual languages and Mootoo started class with at the very least 70% French speaking. While this is scary at first, towards the end EVERYONE got better at French. She always comes to class with a good personality, and always is willing to help. A great lady.

If you get the chance to take her, take her! She is hands down the BEST French professor here. I loved her so much and enjoyed going to her class every week. She is great. She truly listens and makes learning French easy. I recommend her if you are going to study French. I wouldnt miss class as she sometimes has small group assignments that can really hurt your grade if you do not have a doctors excuse to make it up. The class is very easy if you go to class.

She's amazing! Foreign languages are difficult for me, but she is really good at answering questions. She is so kind and very respectful. Her class was a bit difficult, but that's just because it's a language class. You'll use your textbook to follow along in class. The hardest part of this class was the connect homework.

Take her if you need French! She is very caring and truly cares about her students. She wants to make sure that you understand the material, and she will help you with anything! She gives lots of little assignments that will help bring your grade up as well. She only gives a midterm and final which are easy if you study for them! Highly recommend!

She's so nice and caring! I was able to knock out all the foreign language I needed in one semester because they were single term classes. There are lots of little homework assignments online that are super easy and she's willing to help no matter what. Her only in person tests are the midterm and final which weren't really hard.

Had fun as always and learned a lot.
