SUMMER CLASS - Prof. Record is extremely blunt and to the point but she is "Excellent". She doesn't take any "&%$^!", so don't be late, turn in your papers on time and class participation is a must. She challenges you on each paper, always wanting you to push to the next level. Don't let her height fool you, inch for inch, she's an awesome prof!

she is great!!! She look for progress...if u get B in first paper and A- in second one, u'll definitely get A as a final grade...she is helpful and straight to the point..I recommend her!!

she looks mean, but is very nice. she gives 5 or 6 papers. she lets you show it to her before and will advise you on it but wont tell you a grade. ** write papers you are interested in or else you will have a hard times writing something interesting. we will need a pocket(MLA modern language by diana hacker or something) and book season of the mist

She's awesome, she makes sure everyone understands, she's really super nice :) you just need to have assignments on time, and let her know what your problems are. I recommend her very much, I loved being in her class :) I give her A++ :)

Great class made it very interesting and made even the idiots understand the subject matter which was very difficult. She okay looking but her husband is hot as hell. Don't know his name but would love to take a class of his. she's really quirky and knows it and really down to earth. I think she's great!!!

A great professor to start your college english course series with. Pros: engaging and loquacious in class, her lectures are less soliloquy in nature and more syllogistic. If you don't know what a rhetoric device is before the course, you will by the end - even if you don't realize it. You will not be disappointed in her course.

Freaking best professor i've ever had. She helps you find your own way of writing and pushes for creativeness. I felt free to let all my thoughts into the writing and she loved it. DO ALL HER PAPERS! and READ WHEN SHE SAYS TO!!!! she'll get mad and force you to write 10 page papers also take notes when you read and this class will be easy to pass!

One of the best professors I have taken yet and I'm writing this years later. I still remember her lectures, her kindness, and her ability to "break down walls" as someone stated earlier. I came in there writing like a computer and left with the eloquence of Shakespeare..... well maybe not but I made bounds and bounds! Plus, she is super cute!

I always had a problem when it come to english and writing but this teacher really help me a lot. She tell you what's you doing wrong and help you to fix that error. English is still my worst subject but I'm getting better. Hopefully I could have her again for my for my english 101

She is crazy, but still one of my favorites. Definitely makes the boring readings interesting and her anecdotes are great too. Very helpful with writing. I thought I was a decent writer and she made me that much better.

Prof.Aimee Record is a good teacher!!! English as my 2nd language but I got A- in her class, better to take her! she gives more than 4 eaxams (all essay)and allow u to rewrite and she only count 3 best grades for final grade! Preparing u well for department exam! She love her students and her job!!!

Awesome professor. She gets you to think outside the box and she challenges you to do your best. She doesn't accept face value, but helps you move outside of your comfort zone to do great writing. I fully recommend if you want to be ready for the 4 year college!

Professor Record is the best teacher I've ever had and probably ever will have. Taking Women's Literature with her is not just studying literature, it's growing in your thinking and views on life. Took this as a Summer course and it was very intense but rewarding. I enjoyed the various readings from the different time periods and gained an understanding of the difficulties women authors faced. Professor Record was always responsive to emails and Discussion Board queries. I highly recommend this course.

Shes so different than any other teacher. Sometimes she seems arrogant but I love her and everything about her. She's definitely fair, not strict on attendance, uses helpful strategies, always available. It would do you good to be on her good side. Plus shes funny and gorgeous.

Prof. Record is an amazing woman who loves what she does. She has psychic tendencies and that's one of the things I love most about her. Tough grader, passionate about writing, may seem sarcastic and rude but she's alright. She's actually not bad as it seems to be stated here. If you want a good grade you have to work for it. Does attendance and does not like lateness. Her criticism on your writing is helpful.

I had Aimee and let me tell you I absolutely love her. She has an amazing energy and she is very clear on how she will grade you. Honestly do the work, she doesn't grade on whether it's right or wrong but if you understood the concept of her teaching. My class had her staying longer in the school for finals and although she was mad she still came!

I took her online class and let me tell you, it wasn't easy. It took the whole semester to change my grade from a B to an A. I wouldn't recommend this class to those who work full time/ work in the weekends because there is a lot of reading & writing. She is a tough grader but I respect that because it challenges you and it makes you work harder.

Honestly, she is perhaps one of the best English professors I have met at bmcc she knows her stuff, she might be tough but she is really competent. I have learned a lot from her class I have become a better writer. She likes when things are written in MLA format, it is a lot of work but critical materials.

Professor Record is honestly an amazing professor. She is a fair grader,explains herself, and she was always ready to help. There were times I didn't agree with how she came across but if you speak to her and bring to her attention she changes/apologizes. I would take her class again. Do your work and put in effort and everything will be smooth. She wants you to create your own thoughts and build them through essays and writing practices. She cares if you care. Don't be lazy. This was a spring class & there was a lot to do in a short amount of time, but Prof Record was clear in her expectations. I was able to socialize with other students through class participation assignments (to read & critique other's work) I really enjoyed this, as it was my first online class. The stories we have to read are not boring either.

This class will make you like writing. that said this class is pretty disorganized so if thats something ur not okay with dont take it. no late work but grading is fair cuz she grades on effort not skill

I know there have been some bad reviews about her. But her class was easy! The way she grades the essays is tough. The DB is easy A+. She's really hard to understand what she wants on your essays but you'll get a B-, B, B+ or higher no lower than a C+. The reading and annotation are A+ very easy to write about. I guarantee you'll get a B+ or A.

This was an online class so participation in discussion boards matter, She doesn't accept late work period, but that honestly did help me as I gave everything I had to give in weekly. If you're like me and procrastinate a lot take her class it'll help you hold yourself accountable. She gives good clear feedback on your writing style.

Professor is from NYU and she teaches NYU level so be prepared also she's not a bad professor you will pass the class don't worry just be ready and keep typing. When you make mistakes in your essay look why cause if you do it again you will get the same grade before the first second and for the final too.
