A lot information not relating to Business. Thats what I felt at fast. But her class content is very interesting. Just read the book and course material available and you will pass. I disagree with the above ratings. TAKE HER

She knows her stuff and is a great teacher for those who want to do the work and learn. If you want an easy class, don't take this instructor. Take it if you want to put in some effort and learn something. In my class, the students who didn't like her were those who never did the reading and didn't keep up with the assignments posted online.

I found that she was available for consultation when needed, she wants to help you and see you make it through. Just do the work, ask questions if needed, and you can make an easy A. Yeah, you may think the work is hard, but this college, not middle school, just do what's required.

This is a very easy class. She gives you several opportunities for extra credit. No reason you can't pass it, unless you just don't do the work.

Professor Roundtree is a very intelligent person. I just finished her summer class. She gives you a mjaor assignment each week. She give you plenty of extra credit so no one should fail her class. She communicates very well with her students. Overall, I highly recommend her.

Really good class. Really good professor. Very energetic. Seems to like to teach and consistently wants to help you be successful. Really impressed.

Dr. AKR is one of the best professors I've had in my college career. I love her. She works with you on assigments because she understands that most of us are professionals and are juggling FT careers with academic study. I've signed up for a third class with her, both because of her high expectations and the way she nurtures ALL students.

The topic is hard, but she's helpful.

I took her for business communication during the summer online. She is good to take online. The instructions for assignments were clear cut and understandable. The assignments weren't too hard either. Since the class was online, we used our book a lot but a used copy does just fine.

This was a hybrid class. The class was brutal, but Dr. Roundtree would explain the material as many times as you needed. She is willing to help and is always enthusiastic about the material.

The instructor was very helpful in her clarity of the syllabus and requirements. The syllabus was extremely straight forward and it was clear what assignments were due and when they were due. I also enjoyed having the opportunity to post questions online when needed.

During our conference calls she gave us clarity about the major assignments.

This course helped me understand what to include in the cover letter and how information can be organized in a resume.

Professor Roundtree is awesome and so helpful. All of her directions are extremely clear and they often repeat in other areas so you know what you're doing. There aren't any exams, the mini mester is one big research project. The class was really informative and was easy to follow. I recommend highly!

Prof. Roundtree is wonderfully organized and responsive. The class is modular, with participation grades, discussion grades major assignments and extra credit. There is NO REASON to fail this course. The professor provides all needed material to succeed, you must do the work.

The phone calls were the most helpful. I could go back and listen to old conversations that benefitted me a lot.

I really enjoyed the way the professor graded the documents. The grading rubric allowed me to see what I did wrong, and how I could correct my mistakes.

Honestly, I have to say that this online course is probably the most organized and laid out online course I have ever taken.

The Instructor helped me understand the material more clearly by providing slides and online videos. The videos provided online were probably the biggest help, because they really explained how things were going to be laid out in the course.

I have only taken one online class in the past and it did not go well! This was a much better experience because of the conference calls and ease of access to the teacher if we had any questions.

I really enjoyed the reading post fill in the blanks. I do not like to read much and this assignment helped me understand the text and read it indirectly. Some times professors do not understand how important extra credit is to us. Many students want to do as good as they can and these extra credit opportunities really boost.

I found this course to be filled with an abundance of supplementary information, videos, and assignments (extra credit). It would be highly advantageous to see more distance courses with a similar design to this online course.

The conference calls were beneficial to me even though I did not call in. I would listen to them and take notes on the teachers advice which was similar to taking notes in a traditional class lecture. This answered some of my general questions about the assignments and was a very useful tool.

This class was a perfect example of what happens when you have a good teacher. Everything was organized and detailed. This is one of the best online classes I have taken.

The textbook and textbook examples were helpful when working on the major assignments. It helped me get a better understanding on how the assignments should be designed.

The instructor helped me out. I have never taken a mini course like this before. The instructor’s clear and structured procedures helped out tremendously. If the instructor’s course outline was not as thorough and precise then I could have been lost in the course. It helped my learning. It taught me how to read directions to accomplish each tasks.

The weekly podcasts were helpful. My questions in regards to assignment was answered through this podcast. Discussion board also help me to find answer.

I do not believe that there is anyway to improve or help a student to interact more in this course. You could work in a group, we had conference calls, peer Q&A, podcast and email. Every opportuinty that was there for you to succeed and learn more and ask questions was presented to you.

Dr. Roundtree helped me in my writings in many ways than one. She took the time out to provide valuable feedback for each of papers.

Fall 2013 was my second time taking Dr. Roundtree and she is the same as before. Very enthusiastic about the material, gives extra credit,and will find new ways to explain a concept if you did not understand it the first time. Both times I received an A. You have to work for the A but it's not impossible.
