Professor Evans loves Sociology so she expects that the students must love it too! It is fun but a lot of vocabulary to learn and assignments. You will learn whether you like it or not!

The best class ever but if you miss a class you will miss too much! Professor Evans make Sociology interesting but it is hard to learn the vocabulary. Either way, you will learn! Oh yeah - Blackboard is important too!!

Professor Evans is a "SOCI GANGSTA". She knows what she is talking about. Be prepared to read and work it is a lot of work, but not hard at all. There is a lot of vocabulary, but don't worry. She really does everything for the student to understand the material, and to feel comfortable. SHE WILL HELP YOU IF YOU SHOW EFFORT. I am taking her again!

Professor Evans is the BEST professor I have taken at Morgan. She isn't there just to teach a book but gives you a better understanding of the topic. You have to constantly have to check blackboard & your emails but it's all for your benefit. If you fail this class it is because you did not want to pass her class. Professor Evans was my favorite professor. She breaks down all the concepts that you need to know to pass, and makes sociology fun. She is also Hilarious. Just be sure to stay on top of work on Blackboard and you'll get an A.

For the most part, Ms. Evans is obsessed with her profession; she will indirectly encourage you to change your major, by the perfection of her lecturing and teaching. She is a great professor that I would I love to take again. But make sure you stay on top of the work, although it is not hard it is a lot. Many of the assignments are online which makes it easier.

she gives out a lot of work, it is no joke. you have to stay on top of the work or you will fall behind. the 50 concepts paper is difficult. waited till last minute and struggling because she still gives out multiple assignments while trying to do the paper and oh she give you a group project. so... all the assignments will pile up and become hard.

A great professor and will help you along the way, however she does give a decent amount of work between discussion boards, Vocab assignments, and online quizzes, so you must stay on top of everything or else this class will be stressful and harder than it actual is. Ultimately, she makes the class fun, enjoyable, and interesting.

When I signed up for this class I thought it would fun but still a tough class. This is fun but its not hard at all (because at teacher)! She really helps you understand what are doing and she is always willing to help you outside of class at anytime! I would love to take this class again or just have her teach my anthropology class next semester.

Prof. Evans is GANGSTA. What I mean by this is that, she is the most helpful, understanding , easy and comprehensive professor I have ever had. While she teaches , she always tries to be eclectic. She brings different examples and illustration from different and diverse areas, including her personal life just to make sure students get her lessons.

Professor Evans, is not like any other professor I have taken, the class is very interactive. This professor teaches in a way that is understood. She uses everyday situations and terms you can understand. I love this class and although it is three hours long , when it is over I catch myself still interacting, its that fun.

I have learned so much about sociology in this class I think I'm gonna change my major. Professor Evans really brings sociology to life but I also learned how to be a better student. Professor Evans loves teaching and you can tell. Lectures are never boring! Although the course was online there was a lot of interaction. Professor Evans made sure we knew what was going on and when. She responded to emails usually within the hour and the only way you'll fail is if you fail yourself.

Online class had a clear schedule and the work isnt hard as long as you do not get behind schedule. The professor emailed responses very fast and sent reminders all the time. You have to read the textbook but all the exams are open book so it is easy if you read.

Professor Evan's is a great professor! She definitely made taking a summer class so easy. This was my first one, i will most certainly be taking another. The course work was not difficult at all. The schedule she gave in the very beginning was followed. Just make sure you read your material and study.

I took this class online I was afraid it was gonna be extremely hard since it was online but it wasn't bad at all everything is straight forward and easy to do if you follow the deadlines and have the book its no way to fail. Professor Evans is a great teacher I had her for an online summer course which was an extremely fast paced course. She is very direct with deadlines and assignments however if you prepare they are fairly easy. She makes the course very interesting and does a great job connected the past to modern times

Online assignments every week, be sure to take notes because sometimes she will do note checks that are graded as quizzes. She talks a lot but most of the stuff is very important to understanding topics in a way that speaks more to you as an individual.

Aiyda Evans is a great professor, she explains the information in great detail and if you do not understand she will use other alternatives to help you understand the material. She also works with your schedule if you have to miss some class time as long as it is for a good reason.

Professor explains sociology in the best way using examples from her life and it makes it so much easier to remember. Its a lot of work. At least she makes it fun and interesting though.

Professor Evans is amazing! Now she may be a little all over the place but everything she says is related to the class! She says everything in layman's Terms so that everyone can understand. She isnt afraid to get real about her life with her students. Love her ans I am taking her again next semester

prof. Evans is very engaging with her students she doesn't lecture that much it's more of a conversation. I never understand my classes but I promise if you stay on the little bit of work that she gives for the week YOU WILL PASS! Don't get me wrong sometimes her time is a little scattered but if you speak to her respectfully she will help you out.

Professor Evans is very passionate about what she teaches and knows what she is talking about! She makes the class fun and interesting because she teaches so you can understand the material. You will definitely learn things that pertain to everyday life

Evans is one of the most passionate professors I have had . She cares about the students and their opinions. I will highly recommend her to anyone! She is a little unorganized, but the lessons you learn from her are authentic.

This professor is amazing, am glad i took her. She has a great sense of humor, she make personal connection with her students. her lecture time is interactive, her method of teaching is impactful, even the dummy student cannot fail her class, except if you are the type that does not like homework and class activities. she go out of her way to help.

She is a amazing teacher who cares for her students. She is really funny and will work with you. But study for the test!

Great professor, make sure you are in every class, also very real so she is open to talk about anything in and outside of class! If the arguments are good enough she will them go on the whole class and also join in.

Mrs. Evans is one of the most amazing and awe-inspiring here at Morgan State University. She truly cares about the students and their advancement in college. Her lectures and personal experiences are hilarious, but relatable and interesting. I advise anyone who is a Sociology major or interested in societal interactions to take her class.

Final exam on top of a paper. If you feel like the classes that youre going to take is going to be a lot of work for finals. dont take her its no easier.

Prof. Evans is by far my favorite professor at Morgan. I took her freshman year and was super bummed when the semester was over. She is beyond inspirational . Prof. Evans is a literal diamond in the ruff at Morgan. I was nervous about taking this course online but Prof. Evans made it fun, educational, and interactive. Prepare yourself because their will be a-lot of assignments and a major final. This class is not a easy "A". Evans is gonna make you work for it. But its worth it in the end.

This is a teacher where participation matters. Though as a straight up technical course this isnt that rigorous, this course pushes you to work in groups, participate in class, and create a program to fix a social problem. Lots of work, but it isnt hard work. She is a chill grader I wouldnt recommend using up all her favors. Overall: 4.5/5

To me, Ms. Evans is the BEST teacher you can take for any Sociology class at Morgan. She's REAL. Most teachers don't bother letting their students get to know the REAL them but Ms. Evans insists on being herself. She talks to her students like adults and expects all respect to be reciprocated. As long as you are trying, she will will work with you.

My favorite professor on zoom in my first semester. This class made me stay in college.

She is talkative but its for your understanding. She can be forgetful though so stay on top of your work in that class.

Amazing professor, she really wants you to succeed! participate!! get to know her, make jokes! she will give you extra credit or extensions as long as she see's that you are trying!. when she tells you to start that final paper START IT THEN so you won't be stressed.
