Eng103 was the class that I looked forward to the least before I started at CNC. However, after the first class I realized that A.J. is by far the most funny, helpful, and dedicated teacher that I have had throughout my time at School, UNBC, and CNC. C.T.

The English language can actually be interesting and, to my amazement, somewhat fun!! Who knew? The hour drive was worth it to take this class, though I am glad I no longer have to complete assignments since it is over. Bonne chance!

You are a funny teacher. I always have great time in your classes. Sometimes, we do exercises in classes, but if we can practice more, that will be great. In class exercise can help us to grasp the new things well. (PS: You look like a huge baby.) :D

being in his class reminds me of my kindergarden time. well, maybe because he is a grandfather, i guess he really treated us as if we were kids. maybe that's his way of being easy going, but we are not kids any more.

this was the most fun english class I have ever taken, AJ is SO funny!! He taught everything so that we all understood us and he didnt treat us like kids.

A.J. is my favorite prof! I always hated English in high school but I LOVE English now. He is tons of fun and if you like a prof to sing to you... A.J. is your man! A.J. is all about everyone making and arguing their own opinions of the literature and that makes class fun and interesting!!

What a riot. Funniest damn class I have had the pleasure of attending.

Yay for AJ! He did what I thought was impossible: taught me how to write effective essays! Very funny and very fair. Good class; I would recommend it even if english isn't your bag, baby.

Probably the funniest professor I will have ever had, his class was a laugh riot. The class was laid back and easy going. I mean if you listened and just some the work, you could end with a high mark easy.

Great personality, good teaching. But Im not sure if the majority of the class are interested in Poems, becoz i sure dont and poems are not important for most of us in the future so i think it'll be better if we learn something more meaningful, or maybe think of a couple areas and let the student vote what they are more interested in? =p

I strongly recommend everyone take his class;it is really fun!! He also teaches us clearly how to write essays, which would be useful for anything all of our lives. One thing I felt in class is that he could spend class time fully; he could teach grammar or something else more properly.

A.J.'s class is fun not the usual type of an English class. Never expected that learning cn be cool and he makes the quizzes fun Not stressful.I really enjoyed his class.

He somehow managed to turn my least favorite subject into my favorite class. He made seemingly dry literature interesting. Very insightful. I looked forward to going to three-hour-long night classes. Unthinkable! Keep up the good work AJ.

This class is an absolute blast everytime we are there. I signed up wanting to learn how to take a piece of writing from the beginning all the way through to a final draft. I am not sure I got that out of this class. One possible suggestion for improvng the class would be to include more work on the revision process. Great Class AJ :)

An amazing teacher. He really loves any type of English subject and is always eager to hear new opinions as long as they are supported by the text. Easy going as long as he knows your're serious and not blowing him off. I changee my major because of him and I'm so happy because of that. Highly recommended!
