He's a great professor. If you don't come to class/ don't treat his class seriously he'll treat you with the same regard. If you are on good terms with him, he'll help you out if, i.e, you missed an assignment. He's always trying to help students by setting a tutor and other things. Lots of hw tho but not too hard. If you go to class you'll get it.

He is an awesome professor in my point of view. He is always available during his office hours and through email. If he does not live up to his word, he is willing to reschedule. The class is not boring at all and he knows what he is talking about. He has an accent but it's really not that heavy. Seriously, best teacher I ever had at FIU.

Oluwo Is a great professor, he takes his time, though he can be fast at times. He cares for his students, often calling them by name at random to see if they have any issues. He will talk with you re: your score on a test and ask if he can help in anyway. I would take him again in a heartbeat

The most amazing mathematics professor I have ever had! His goal every class was to make sure every student understood the materiel he was teaching and if you did not then he would stay after class to answer any questions. Make sure to have a notebook for the course, the notes have many examples that are extremely important to the homework & exams.

He was a great professor! I am not the best at math but I got a 100 on the first test and on the final. It was not a hard class as long as you show up, write notes, and do your homework/quizzes online then you will be prepared for the tests. He really cares, during lectures he constantly asks "Do you guys understand?" Math lab hours also helped.

Awesome professor. If you're someone like me that's no math genius and really needs a good teacher to be able to understand the material, then he's your guy. HW is very lengthy, but quizzes are short and relatively simple. Goes step by step so you understand the problem and answers any questions you may have. Make sure you go to class.

He's very funny and amazing at teaching math problems. Doesn't go too fast with problems and he will slow down for you during class if needed. The class is very easy and attendance matters for I-Clicker points.

Great professor who cares if you understand the material. Only flaw is his speed at teaching the math problems, because when he goes quick it is hard to understand. He's easy to reach outside of class and will always be willing to help. iClickers are annoying and makes attendance mandatory. Super nice and great teacher.

BEST PROFESSOR EVER! He does everything he can to make sure you pass the class. Funny and well respected. Homework is based on MathLab and MLP. Test count a lot on your grade and so does the Foundation's test. Must have iclicker for attendance credit. Study for tests and final exam. No midterm. This is a hybrid class.

Professor O is great!! He knows his material and does a great job making the math make sense. Not just a lecture, interactive. He's caring and will fix computer errors on test. Work on MLP, 3 lab hours every week, preclass assignments and writing quizzes, and a required math workshop(math gym)... basically another class. Test are lab proctored

Professor O is a great teacher. Hands down knows all the material well AND knows how to teach it. There were a lot of homeworks, quizes, test, however they do help you understand the material. He helps you out and shows that he wants his students to do well.

Professor Oluwo was by far the best professor that I have taken at FIU. He cares 10000% about every single student as long as you put in the work too. He breaks down each problem so that we can understand. I would most definitely take him again!

Probably one of the BEST math professors in FIU. He really cares for all his students. His lectures aren't boring and he always make funny remarks. If you need anything, he's always there to help you out. Since everything is math lab based, he doesn't have control over the tests, but he definitely does really well on preparing you for them.

Professor O helped me build a solid base in mathematics. I took him for Intermediate algebra and College algebra and learned a lot from him. He makes the lectures fun and he is a nice and caring professor. I extremely recommend him.

Pretty tough, but only because he cares. I did really well in the class. I would go to class and listen to the lectures and understand everything. If you sit in the front you can easily ask him questions and he'll help you out.

Professor O has to be one of the most genuine professors in FIU. He legitimately cares about every single one of his students. Although at times he appears to rush through lectures, it is because he wants the opportunity to help each student possible. I am aiming to have him for every math class I possibly can. I love Prof. O. He's knows his material and he wants his students to pass. He is the best part of the math program at FIU. The rest of the parts of the FIU math department are horrible and a lot of work. But I don't hold that against O. He does his job and does it well.

Professor O is very good. He explains well and responds to emails fast, he is accessible outside of class to help you study. I would take him again! The class is not hard but it isn't easy either, you have to take advantage and do all the homework and assignments. Make sure you do the Review Quiz multiple times before taking the test! Good Luck

You'll have to basically teach yourself the material with the online class. It's not very difficult, but I still would not suggest it if you're particularly bad at math. Make sure you register for tests as soon as possible.

He is the best professor I've taken at FIU. He truly cares about his students, as long as you show that you care about learning. In general, he's a very caring person. He makes himself available to help you out for any situation. I would totally recommend him for any math he teaches. If he taught every single math in FIU, I would take him.

I took Prof. O for college algebra and precal/trig. He is the best prof. anyone could wish. He makes sure everyone understands the material, easy to talk with, and understanding. He is so good, I almost changed my major to math. The precal system ����, yet he made it possible to learn. He has a slight accent, but two weeks you'll be accustomed.

Prof. O is the best professor that exists. He will take all of the time he needs to ensure that you fully understand a concept. If you're struggling in the class, he will strongly encourage you to not give up and will give plenty of extra credit opportunities. If he taught everything, I would take him. He does have an accent, but it's very light.

BEST MATH PROF AT FIU. He is so understanding and will review topics with you until you understand. I took his class in the summer and I passed by doing all my work. You do have to go to math lab as a part of your grade. ALL homework is online. The tests are easy if you study. He really dumbs the lectures down for students to understand.

I am TERRIBLE at math but honestly this professor is very clear during lectures and if you need his assistance, he will break it down for you in simple ways. The homework is a little frustrating but there's a lot of opportunity to bring your grade up. You MUST go to class if you want to learn better. Ask questions and make sure they're answered.

Prof. O is THE BEST professor in FIU. He will make sure that you understand concepts, has creative ways to introduce topics in math and is incredibly kind. He understands if you have issues with anything and will work with you for your benefit. I used to hate math but thanks to him, I love math and am getting a degree in math.

Best professor Ive ever had so far. The class content is hard but he is very helpful and cares a lot about the students. Many extracredits and assignments so you can make up the tests. He will help you with anything and explain everything very clearly. Absolutely recommended.

There was a mix up with my grade, I was very happy that professor O took the time to go over my grade and we realized that somehow the computer made an error. Other than that I'm not a math person and I still managed to pull thru although I missed 1 test. Had I not missed that one test I would'v gotten a better grade. Nonetheless I am very pleased.

Mr. O is a great professor and gave me several chances. I received a D by no fault of my own as the Final is worth 25% of your grade. He is funny, smart, and he is extremely kind. I recommend you take him. He also does many extra help sessions with all the students.

Best professor at FIU, Prof O is straight to the point and gives everyone the opportunity to get an A. He gives you a study guide for all test and they are practically the exam just show up to the reviews and pay attention.

He lectures fast but he will stop and explain. The tests are out of 107 points so if you get everything right, you get a 107% There is a bit of homework, but it is totally doable. He is really great!

Tbh Ill say as a heads up, i like math so you can see whether or not you can go based off my review. But ALL math classes are structured the same because of the math FIU department so as far as the workload, its a lot just like MAC1105 etc. However, this class was easy for the most part. He has a lot of ways to help you pass the exams.

To finish my review .. study the offline/in class to pass the exams. They are basically the same and attend all reviews. Do study plans on math lab for extra practice, they were useful SOMETIMES. professor was good at explaining when he wanted, he can get cocky sometimes but for the most part he is willing to help. The LA Aubrey was PERFECTT help.

So many assignments! Do the in-class and off-line assignments because the tests are basically the same as those. He does Saturday zoom/in-person tutoring for his classes.

Mr. Oluwo is a great proffessor that cares. If you do your work and homework, you will pass the class. There is a bit of homework, but Mr Oluwo somestimes makes a zoom on saturdays for anyone that has questions or helps with the homework. I highly recommend him if you are looking for a fun and good math professor.

let this be your sign TAKE THIS PROFESSOR I've never understood math until this professor he helped build all my foundations in pre-calculus and trigonometry. do not take this class if you haven't taken college algebra this class expects you to have all those basics down he only spends like 2 weeks reviewing before jumping into pre-cal and trig.

Prof O. is one of the most loving and caring professors I have ever had. Having now passed Calculus 3 and Differential Equations and looking back, I can strongly affirm he is truly wonderful. Funny guy too, Definitely take him and go talk with him!

Quite frankly hardest class I've taken, summer A which means the whole is 6 weeks. Class every day and you are expected to do guided notes before class and turn in learning activity every day. There is either quiz or exam every w/ but the professor. O made the class great. give so much extra credit on the exams this is a class of wills, not brains

This professor is honestly the best in the math department-I was worried coming back to school for anther degree after 8 years but his teaching approach is AMAZING. He does test reviews in office hours and during class, plus extra credit and a lot of homework. You have to put in the work though and actually try, otherwise - very easy to get lost.

You can tell this guy knows how to teach in today's day in age. Took this professor as a freshman post-covid, thinking I could never do math like I used to, but Professor Oluwo sets up the class in a way that allows you to learn new math concepts and meet people which is a good thing. Yes the class has worksheets/MyLab work, but it helps! Trust me.

One of my best math teachers/professors ever! There's a lot of homework but it helped me a ton to understand everything. He had plenty of office hours and lectures outside of the class time. There's quizzes at the beginning and end of every class, I think that's my only complaint but there's so many easy grades it's kind of hard to fail.

I have not had a professor this awesome since like fifth grade! You have pre-class assignments which help loads. After the class, usually at the end of the week, there is a recap assignment. Lectures consist of lecturing and strengthening what you learned and working on the in-class worksheet with your group. Professor O is top-notch!

Definitely not the easiest subject but Professor O makes it a great experience that is easily digestible. Fast-paced but you stay engaged with his humor and his love for what he does. Instead of teaching the subject, he helps you understand by drawing connections and using many examples that just make sense. Reviews every exam in multiple ways.

It's a lot of work and there's a useless group project, but I have genuinely never understood math as clearly as I do now. Edit: I just took him again for Calc 1 and 10/10.

Easily the best professor I've had. His ability to explain calculus concepts is unmatched and he takes the time to thoroughly explain. He's a very reasonable grader and gives reasonable exams. Don't be intimidated to take calculus is 6 weeks. The professor is what makes the class and taking the right one can make a challenging class quite simple.

This is by far the best math teacher I have taken EVER. He is caring and funny that you will not (probably) get bored of listening to him while he teaches. There are videos and notes you have to write before class, but they are easy and provide you with some knowledge before he actually starts teaching you more when you head to class. TAKE HIM!!!

I have taken this professor in MAC 1147 and MAC 2311 I'm going to tell you that this professor is the one who you want to take. He can teach you on the way you will understand on the concept. He will give you a zoom meeting before the exam, so you can be prepared for the exam. Take him! He's the best! Whoever put low rating did not put up effort.

Best Prof. I've ever had. One group project, playposits due the day before class. In-class and guided notes due midnight the day of class, and two in class quizzes. Everything is pretty easy because he teaches that well. LA's and office hours are genuinely helpful. The other profs follow the same structure but Prof. O is the best at teaching.

Best math professor I've ever taken. Very passionate. The course is mostly focused on watching playposits then doing the worksheets, but he does make the effort to review and teach every lecture and answer questions. It's a very “self-taught” sort of class but the videos and problems help a lot. Be prepared to really put your effort into it.

Great professor. He makes sure students understand the content and is very caring. Easy to do well in the class if you study and do the work. He does or provides review sessions for every exam which covers all the content on the exams. The LAs are also helpful if you struggle!

I'm really bad with math but Professor O is a really good professor. Before classes you do playposits which explain the content before. Oftentimes I'd come into class very lost because I didn't understand them. After class I understood perfectly. Very good lectures and explains math in a really clear way. You can tell he knows what he's doing.

Professor Oluwo is very proficient in his teaching. He cares about each student's success in the class and promotes collaboration in each class lecture. The professor also takes time out of his day to do reviews before each major exam. This class is not difficult, but study at least a couple of days before every exam, an A is definitely possible.

I'm NOT a math girl, he made me love math. He teaches exceptionally well and focuses his exam reviews on the exact questions that will be on the exam. In class quizzes are easy, but you wont know how to do them if you don't learn/skim over the material from the pre class play posits and pay attention during class. Overall. AMAZING professor.

This is the best professor you can take for this course. He genuinely cares about you succeeding not only in his course, but life in general. The course is not test heavy so the homework weighs more for your final grade and you get extra credit on exams for just showing up to class. He is an amazing professor I can only speak very highly of him.

So this professor is super chill and has a great personality, to much information for a hybrid class, he goes fast and he thinks you already know the content, you do have to study if you want a better grade, he's test were "easy" again If you study. aside from that good luck if your bad at math.

The class was easy for me since I'm good at math. There are 4 in-person exams and 1 cumulative final. Homework includes Pearson, videos, and worksheets—all quick and simple. On day one, he assigns groups that help with in-class work. Overall, very manageable if you're comfortable with math.

I try to write honest reviews. Take him, but only if you WANT to learn. As someone who wants to do better in my weak subject, amazing. He makes sure you learn & come out with new knowledge from every class, & is always pushing you forward. I don't really "study", but he showed me how important HW is in any math class to really grasp the concept.

Professor O. is the best math teacher/professor I have ever had. The way the course is designed is made to help anyone do well (pre-class and in-class work). It may be a bit challenging if you do not do the pre-class work. The only con is that he can be a bit passive-aggressive with some questions asked in class but he is really funny too. TAKE HIM

I loved him a lot he really helped me understand the concepts of trig and pre calculus he is very caring and driven to help his students understand the information. As long as you do good on everything he assigns like the play posits and in class worksheets you'll be fine.

Professor O is an incredible professor. He can explain virtually any calculus concept with ease. If you put in decent effort for this class you'll pass with at least an 80 just make sure to pay attention to his mini lectures and the online lectures. 4 exams and if your good enough in his class he'll exempt you from the final.

Professor O shows care regarding the students who enter his classroom. If you follow the playposits and try learning the information, you shouldn't have trouble passing his class. He does do a group assignment where you present your information to the class.

Oluwo is an engaging professor who seems to have a very high level of expertise in mathematics. I suggest you take this teacher, but be aware he's extremely fast paced in his teaching style. You'll pass the class if you do the work, which is 50% of the class. The other 50% are tests, which he prepares you for. Helpful, slightly intimidating, funny.

I was never the best at math but I ended this course with 100%. He is such a great professor and teaches in a way that is very easy to understand. One group project where you teach the class on a topic. He grades out of 110 so even if I got about 2 wrong on the exam I can still get 100. Super nice, just make sure to STAY ON TOP OF ALL THE WORK!!
