Amazing professor...easily the best two classes i have this year...swimming and intro to P.E.. Always talking about relevant stuff which is really good. Keeps me interested, which isn't an easy thing to do.

Easy class. He gave you hints during all the practical tests to make sure that you passed. Very informative. As long as you can keep your eyes off his hot body, you will pass the class no problem.

This guy is the best, hes down to earth, loves cars and he is there if you need him...he will do his best to help you pass

He's a really nice guy and a good grader. If you only have one absence, he will bump up your grade.The class isn't easy, but just don't be absent more than once and you'll do fine.

stickler for attendance, overall the class is good, this is thw class where when the professor says i didnt give you that garde, you gave yourself that grade comes inot play....with only 2 test he still gives you so many chances to walk away with a A or B at least...you have to do work in this class but none of it is hard or terrible, deff worth it

Professor Maddaluno takes his job as a CPR instructor very seriously which is a great thing. He is also a very fun teacher and his method will get you to know how to perform the techniques perfectly. I highly reccomend him to anyone.

Great teacher. His class is difficult but you learn a lot from it. He gives all his students very helpful advice in the physical education field. Once in a while his class is fun but he takes his work very seriously. Tests are very difficult. Gives 7 possible extra points to final grade. Give it your best shot I had to work my tail end off for a B+

Great teacher. Really has a passion for teaching and it will rub off. He does everything he can to get you to the best grade he can. Tests are fair if you study a little and he gives 5 1 pg assignments that add a point to your avg. also 2 pts for being there every class. I got an A and i higly reccomend him. Take him for first aid too.

Profressor Maddaluno is a great instructor, he is very clear with instructions and very reasonable. I was a non-swimmer until this class. He made me overcome my fears underwater. I gained confidence, he is very encouraging and knows his this field. He dosen't like lateness and absences, but very fair. I learned to swim and its a great feeling.

Extremely nice!!! Understanding if you arrive late or miss a few days. Dont take advantage of his niceness though, or he'll deduct the missindays from your grade!

Easy A. Attendance is mandatory!! He goes over everything you need to pass the test. Very straight forward. The red cross safer first aid exam is common sense and idiot can do it.

easy class. Takes volleyball and racketball class serious. Attendance is mandatory. Just show up and play and youll do good.

Great professor. Very fair with grading, juggling isn't everyones forte and he understands that. By far one of the best professors I've had the pleasure of learning under. Just practice and have fun, such a good class.

Took him twice my favorite prof. He's great he's passionate about what he does & wants to make sure he teaches you something you can do out of class & later in life. Definitely going to miss this class! Your grade consists of attendance, swim final, & a half a mile swimming (timed) that's all.

The class is fun, nothing to worry about, just be ready to be silly.

Prof. Maddaluno was very helpful, frequently gave you test questions throughout lectures. Lots of info is thrown at you, TONS of CPR/first aid practice, always relates lectures to his past experiences. Very few tests, no quizzes. As long as you display competency in skills you'll pass. Laid back and hysterical, one of my favorite professors at NCC.

Great professor, explains everything there is about first aid and safety. I would defiantly take this class over again if I had to.

be prepared to swim a timed 36 laps or a 1/2 mile for the final, grade is determined by a time range based upon previous class average time, so if u have a really fast swimmers in the group it can screw up the time scale for the grades. But overall really chill professor and makes class fun

At first you think he is weird for speaking so passionately bout circus arts, but u quickly learn he just takes any type of education/skill you could learn seriously, but makes it fun. Circus arts isn't as easy as u think! He is a goof ball and isn't to bad to look at. I wonder what he looks like w/o glasses lol In all a wonderful human and heart.

I took basic swimming with Professor M. He is literally one of the best professor i have ever met. I never knew how to swim before and he taught me the basic and i can easily now get from one side of the pool to the other. Due to religious reasons i could not wear any bikinis, but as long as the swimwear is waterproof, he is okay with it.

Best prof ive had. extremely knowledgeable and passionate. at the beginning of the semester he makes the class sound harder than it is. the few writing assignments are simple and graded by the fact that you did them. he makes it clear what will be on the tests. all tests were curved. great advisor for phys ed majors

Great guy! By far the best teacher I have ever had. He cares about his students. I got an A for the course. You'll pass his class with a good grade as long as you pay attention in class and take notes, and definitely study for all of the test because they are hard. He gives you a chance to earn 7 total extra points onto your final grade!

Great class. I wouldn't want any other person to teach me swimming. He teaches each stroke step by step so it's easy to understand.

I had this professor twice and I loved him both times! He's very nice and grades you well. If you show up and participate you will pass. Amazing professor! Would take again.

Great Professor. Participate and you will excel. Even if you suck, if you try hard, he will notice. Don't be absent on the testing days. And, there is a half a letter grade increase to those that are never absent.

He's the most understanding and loving professor I've seen at Nassau so far, If you struggle he'll help with no hesitation. make sure you take him for any PED class he teaches . You'll have a great semester

I took Professor. Maddalunos volleyball class this semester and I must say he is a wonderful professor. He taught us all the basics of volleyball, then we played tournaments it was a overall a great time , and I thouroughly enjoyed his class. At the beginning my skills were minimal now they are not. Take him if you get the chance to.

Easily one of the best professor at NCC I was afraid that swim class was going to be hard but he made it fairly easy while making it challenging enough for me to learn how to swim. Loved the class a lot.

Professor Maddaluno kept the class fun and interesting. He was such a nice, caring professor and very funny. He encouraged students to do well and always had such a positive attitude. I wish I needed to take another class he teaches before I graduate. Highly recommend taking him for any class!

I have had this professor for a total of three different classes here at NCC and I can easily say he was the greatest teacher I've ever had. If he teaches any class you need take his class. Just show up and do whats expected of you and he will do anything to help you out. It was truly an honor to have him as a professor.

I love love loveee Professor M, he is so sweet, kind, caring, funny and has a huge passion for teaching first aide and safety. Even though the course was on zoom, it was still a lot of fun and I learned a lot. You get a final plus a midterm & projects that are so easy. Please take him you wont regret it, he will answer all of your questions ! :)

Professor Maddaluno is an incredible professor. took him fall 2017 and he is still to this day one of the best professors I have ever had. very caring, understanding, funny and relates what he's speaking about back to real life. still have my home-made first aid kit he had us put together. would take again/recommend to everyone

One of the best professors I had!! My class was in the early morning but still enjoyable! He's funny and will help you if you ask questions or sees that you need help. Attendance and participation matters! Made a very good friend in this class!!!

He was very kind and makes sure to help everyone in class. He doesn't play favorites. I had him for PED277, though I had to drop the class due to anxiety.

I took Professor Maddaluno my 1st semester. Hands down my favorite Professor I ever had at Nassau. I had accommodations for extra time and a reader and he offered to proctor the test for me. He didn't need to do that but he did. Super caring for his students. Will never forget him. He taught me an important life skill CPR and First Aid. 1 of a kind

his tests are hard so make sure to wrtie notes down and study but he is very understanding, caring, gives a lot of extra point assignments so take advantage of them, they are not hard and he is funny. had a great time in his class.
