She is very creative with her lecture slides. I enjoy her class time because she deliver the material in a way that every student would understand the course. she has a unique technique. She is very nice, helpful, approachable, always there for students when needed help also very friendly, she is spectacular. she is one of my favorite profs.

Overall, I had a great experience in Alaa's class. One thing I respect her for is the way she challenges you and at the same time takes feedback from the class and tried her best to give you as much time/help as you need in order to succeed. She is also very clear in her lectures; explains what something does, when to use it, and gives examples. :)

Alaa is a really good professor she uses video to explain the code step by step she provides extra learning material for those who like to discover and she is an easy grader as she cares more about your knowledge then your grammar.

Her lectures can be difficult to understand, but CENG251 itself is a pretty difficult course itself. Even if you dont understand the lectures, when you do your own research on the concepts after they end up being just as difficult to grasp. Besides that shes a fair marker. Ironically her gdb lecture was the first time i actually understood gdb.
