Through out all those lectures in Project Management, he kept you awake with his personality. You will remember more things from his class than most other lecture teachers. His class was an enjoyable one.

I heard that Mr. Alan Emrich's course was and interesting and useful class for game design majors. AFTER taking his course, I know now that his teachings are ESSENTIAL and will definitely be utilized in my career as a Game Designer.

Emerich is a great public speaker and anyone who did not give him a 5 for easiness probably was too lazy to even consider doing the homework.

Very Outgoing guy, knows a hell of alot about his subjects: Games, History, and Lattin :P And enjoys every minute of dispencing the information to his students. Most Classes at AI are 2-hour lab and 2 Lecture, but Emerich can make a 4 hour lecture seem like 2! Just show up to class & enjoy the show!

This guy is an excellent teacher. Unlike most teachers, he teaches with passion and enthusiasm. The class is only difficult if you don't show up or don't pay attention, but neither should a problem for most people because he makes the class a fun learning experience.

Extremely fun class, his humourous observations mixed with a little acting make the lectures overall enjoyable. Plenty of work to do for his class, but you have a decision on the amount of workload you put upon yourself. One of the best teachers in the sxhool. DO NOT SKIP THIS FOR A WEB CLASS!!

I've had Emrich twice now, and out of all the classes there is only one other teacher besides Emrich i can say i remember, when Emrich teaches, it is an adventure, beautifully laid out with trees.... well he's not a game but he just as good. Can't wait till project managment.

Walking out of the class I've been able to look over how much I was able to take from his class (which is alot). I'm extremely ADD and he is one of the few maybe even only teacher that could keep my attention throughout a 4 Hr. lecture.

My second class with Emrich an his teachings bring more clarity of how survey transitions into game design. Learn to take this class seriously and don't take it with storyboarding. Emrich presents the material in a way that is entertaining, intriguing and informative. He is not afraid to praise you when you deserve it, as well as give you a fitting grade should he deem that you're missing something. He is, by definition, a good damn teacher.

Alan Emrich is a dedicated instructor who puts nothing less than 100% effort into his classes. In turn as a student, I feel responsible for putting the same amount of effort into course. I have nothing but respect for the man.

Being a sufferer of ADD, taking a four hour lecture class can be quite hard especially at the end when its the hardest to focus, he's the only teacher I've had that actually can hold my attention for all 4 hours and still leave me wanting to learn more.

Emrich is a cool and collected teacher, if you take his course you have no need to take notes. He will give you the notes and follow them, the test are oral so every question if formated to follow the notes. Do the work and ask him questions!
