If you get this man, get ready for an A. There is no way to fail this man. He give one paper, midterm and final. All open book. The paper is due basically when you hand it in. He even bought us dinner the first day of class. He's wonderful.

None better & you should score any of Schramm's classes. I got B+ & A- in 234 & 476 but learned more than with any other prof. He's inspiring & will hold you attention every class. Do not miss this man. He wants us to be success.

At first I thought the course was pretty yucky.....but Prof. Schramm truly makes it interesting and I feel more comfortable with the course topic as a whole. He truly knows his stuff and is passionate about it......

Prof. Schramm is a great instructor.He is compassionate & straightforward. My distaste is in the course itself. Sex is something that should be private and intimate between you and your partner. Watching illicit movies & discussing sex openly with classmates is truly NOT my cup of tea. I could not drop the course because it fit in with my schedule

Schramm is the man! what an awesome teacher..he makes the class fun and enjoyable...I've learned so much and literally had fun doing it...he's a vietnam veteran, so make sure you thank him for his service...ps. if you're in the military or graduated from a military academy or college...tell him!....I highly recommend his course.

He was a cool guy in class, pretty funny. Class was fairly easy and you learn quite a bit. My one gripe is that he gave me a B when I deserved an A. I admit when I mess up, this wasn't the case. I asked him for my final exam grade and he hasn't responded for months. I need to go over his head to deal with it, which I never like doing.

Professor schramm is one of the best I've had in my undergrad career. Took him for 2 classes, group dynamics and sex. The sex class is REALLY REALLY vulgar but fun as hell. The most humble and best professor you'll ever have, 30 + years in the psych business. Gave out pizza for the class during the final and other treats during the semester. BEST

Dr Schramm was understanding and helpful but the class really required reading textbook and a lot of studying for all quizzes and the midterm and final exams to get a good grade. Attendance every class is actually very important. Best class I ever had at JJay and hope to take Schramm again.

Who wrote that? I was in that class and attended every class (and so was the 2015 valedictorian) and it was the best class I ever had! We had group dynamic exercises and activities every class and Schramm tells us in his syllabus and during his outstanding lectures that he doesnt teach the textbook. What an amazing professor. This was a three week 12 session intersession class that allowed me to experience learning from the most incredible teacher you could ever have. Every minute of every class we learned from Professor Schramm. By the second week he had learned names of every student. His lectures and vignettes are ridiculously down.

I was lucky enough to take two courses (Psy 336 and Psy 476) with Dr. Schramm, He was a breath of fresh air and I always looked forward to his class. Apart from doing an excellent job teaching the subject matter, he took the time to help me with a personal problem and provided insightful advice for my career. Pick his brain! You won't regret it!

Professor Schramm is so very special. He made extra times for me when I had to miss class about home and family needs. Prof Schramm is very inspirational and passionate about his work. You will learn a lot from his lectures and assignments. He will give you insight into the field of psychology, and train you to think outside the box. Best experience was taking his class, it was easy as long as you did the work and payed attention.

Summer session was awesome and Schramm will exceed any and all expectations. He's one on a million. He hosted over 100 grads and alums at his home so we could meet many of his colleagues who are judges,lawyers, doctors and law enforcement professionals who can help us in the future. Love him.

What an amazing professor. This is a Summer Masters course and Dr. Schramm knows what he teaches. He just might be the best professor that I have had in college or my graduate program. Winter Intersession that is a grinder 26 sessions in 12 days but Prof Schramm pulls it off. What a truly wonderful experience being in his class. He taught our Capstone class as a prelude to graduate school. All of his Spring classes were filled but he'll over-tally his senior year students. Take him! Incredible class and professor.

It's not an exaggeration to say Dr. Schramm is a true master of his craft. If you are considering forensics or mental health counseling, you will have made up your mind one way or the other after taking his courses. Do not take his warnings on attendance lightly. Very excellent Professor who clearly knows a lot about the field. He does talk for a while and uses up all of the class time but it is worth it, each story and case study is relevant and interesting.
