Must take him an easy A. He doesn't care if you are there. I only opened the book once. He gives great notes.

Dr. Spindler is awesome. He dedicated to the student understanding anatomy in a way that they will understand and use. He is interested in his students succeeding and a great advocate. Take to not only learn the subject but to get great information on all health related fields.

Dr. Spindler is an excellent instructor! Not only does he explain everything clearly but he makes it interesting at the same time. Make sure you STUDY the Lecture Notes!! :)

all lectures are clinically based. perfect instructor for nursing students, or other health professions. takes time to put in "layman's terms." very strict, intelligent, funny, and professional. cares for his students and their education!!

Ok heres the low down doods and doodettes, I took A&P 1 with Dr. Spindler and enjoyed the class so much that I re-signed for A&P 2 as soon as I could. My only regret is that he is not teaching Micro next semester. If you need A&P he's the guy to take. Yes you need to study, but he makes it enjoyable

Dr. Spindler is definately my favorite teacher. He is not easy but explains everything so well. If you are interested in nursing, you have to take him. Trust me...you'll never find another teacher better than him.

The best anatomy professor in the state of florida. this guy is one of the best teachers bcc has to offer, absolutely love going to his class. great guy, good sense of humor, doesnt make anything awkward, just an overall great guy. very thorough in teaching, impossible NOT to learn

You have to study!! I got a 72 on the first test and still ended up with an A!:) This class will kick your ass, but you will definately learn ALOT! He gives you extra credit quizzes that count towards your final grade too! If your willing to work hard, takes this class!

He is a wonderful instructer and really makes you think. He made a difficult class interesting and I love the way he teaches. I would definitley recommend taking this class with him.

Had him for A&P 1 and 2. The way he teaches, it is impossible not to learn from him. You won't just memorize the material, you will leave there understanding and learning. He makes you think. If you are going into any health field you really need to take him.

Spindler KNOWS how to teach this difficult course! In fact, I aced the class with a $12 book from Barnes & Noble - I didn't even purchase the text. Tests are STRICTLY from the notes, listen to him when he says this! I'm taking him again this Fall for A&P 2, I couldn't ask for a better A&P teacher...no way, no how! HANDS DOWN, BEST teacher!

I took him for Survey A&P, A&P 1 and A&P 2 and Microbiology! I got straight A's in all 4!! I absolutely love him. Best teacher ever! His tests are strictly from his notes so be prepared to highlight what he says! You DO NOT need to buy a book. He provides you with notes.

He is a super great teacher.. He only teachers you want you need to know, takes out all the extra fluff.. His test are extremely hard but are all off of his notes. You dont even need to worry about buying a book, which is great by me. He is serious about his class and students.

Dr. Spindler is an excellent instructor. He makes the material pratical for the health sciences field. He does not mind explaining something until everybody is comfortable with it. He gives great notes for what you need to know, but you still have to study. He gives a written exam and a lab exam. I should finish the class with an A or B.

Dr. Spindler is a great teacher! I never used his book, all his lecture is from his notes which he provides for you. Also the notes is exactly what the material is on the exam(s). You have 5 exams. Quizzes are extra credit. I took him for surveyA&P, A&P 1 which I got an A in. And I'm enrolled in the fall in his A&P 2 class :)

overall he is a good teacher,if you need help he will help you,it was survey of anatomy so we didnt go into much detail,but one thing was he was nver on time for class,i mean 15-20 minutes being late

His class is to the point! Tests are tough, but if you pay attention in class and study you will get through with a good grade. I understand what he taught (which is saying a lot!). I would def take him again!

I have to say I am in the middle of his class now and I love this professor. he is doing an excellent job of explaining things and is very helpful. My favorite teacher by far so far at BCC. I am actually learning something in his class and do not have to teach myself which is a rarity at BCC

Loved his teaching method! He used a lot of visuals, analogies, and memory tricks that made concepts understandable. He doesn't tolerate childishness but he's super helpful if you ask. He's always late to class but that turned out to be kinda nice. I walked away from his class with clear understanding and a very high A. I totally recommend him.

This was a tough class! Had to do a lot of studying to get that A after I nearly failed the first test. He gives a review before each test. It's not mandatory to attend but believe me, it helps... a lot!

Class grades are only based on quizzes and tests, so if you do bad on 1 test that can determine your whole grade. Would not recommend for those who do not do well on tests.

Very difficult class to take during the summer. Plan on studying. Don't buy a book. He gives you the notes you need to study. Listen to everything in class and take good notes. They will help you for the tests. WORK HARD FOR A GOOD GRADE!

Great teacher will be taking all my AP classes with him. as long as you show up to class and pay attention and just study his notes you will pass his tests. all test are straight from the notes.i enjoyed taking his class. the only reason others dont like him becuase they didnt study his notes and pay attention so they failed his tests

AP1 was all memorization and he makes it easy to understand!DON'T take hybrid AP2 with him. Does nothing online only lectures in class 1X a wk for 3 hours. Gave lots of extra credit because class was doing poorly. AP2 is definitely harder but I would still take him again. He really knows his stuff and you can learn a lot from him! Bit of a big head

Dr. Spindler was AWESOME! Him and Dr. Reed are my new favorite professors! He grades fairly and gives you the materials needed to get an A! Definitely pay attention and go to class! He relates the material so it's understandable! I'm so glad he was recommended to me and I HIGHLY and STRONGLY recommend him to my friends!!! :)

Talk about a professor who cares about student learning the material. Well impressed. I should have taken him for AP1 but I did not know. I learned so much practical information and definitely I recommend him if you want to learn and retain information.

Teaches to learn. Stay on top of studying. Not just memorizing information, but wants you to know the 'why's. Very smart and loves to teach. I learned a lot.

AND BSCC 2094. really tricky, but you learn lots!. it is hard and he does not make it easier, his quizzes are extra point so be prepare for them every class. he doesn t use the book. i love his style but lots hated him. IF YOU LIKE HEALTH CARE take him, you will enjoy his stories.

I had him for survey of A and P. The class is not an easy A but he is an awesome teacher. You don't use the book tests and quizzes come from his notes. He teaches you what you need to know and as long as u study the material and attend class I will have an A! Take him!

Dr. Spindler is an amazing professor and I would highly recommend him to any student who is serious about learning. Dr. Spindler is an acting MD which means BCC students are being offered is valuable time...don't waste the opportunity! I would not suggest the text but highly recommend the coloring lab book!

So over LAZY ppl bad mouthing this amazing teacher. He is a np himself and works all day and then dedicates his time to his students. If he really doesn't test on the material he goes over then explain to me how I got 100's on three diff tests in ap1 and 2? If you failed you skipped class and ur LAZY.

Easily one of the best professors at BCC! Dr. Spindler is extremely knowledgeable; he provides comprehensive notes online for every chapter. Write down everything he says & draws on the board. I've never once had to read the textbook and have never received less than an A on all of his exams. Dr. Spindler is a gift to all A&P students! -Britt B.

I am a UCF graduate and took this class just to raise my GPA for PA school. If you struggled with this class, you honestly will NOT survive a single University level science course. He gave very detailed notes and reiterates everything in lecture. People that didn't do well either didn't show up or didn't take notes.

Dr. Spindler is a great teacher. Show up to every class because he gives extra credit pop quizzes. It's memorization, but he tells you exactly what will be on the test and the lab. Tests are fairly easy only if you study. It's not difficult to get an A if you dedicate time to learning the material.

Dr. Spindler is very knowledgable and is a great professor. He does go quickly through the material, but this IS an AP2 course. You get out of this class what you put into it. He is not easy to the average student, but if you put the effort in, you do well. It helps if you have previous medical experience or if you've taken medical terminology.

Great teacher. The exams are pretty hard so you must know your stuff! He is really knowledgeable in so many areas. He visually explains the lectures. & gives you notes that are similar to the tests. Very smart & I would for sure have him as a teacher again!

BEST PROFESSOR AT EFSC. If you want to learn a lot take him!!!! His tests are not hard at all. I do have a lot of family background in medical field so most does come easy. Many people drop because he seams hard, but trust me you will want to take him if going into health!!!!!

Topics are approached with a real-world experience point of view. He is a great teacher and seems to enjoy it. Don't expect to get away without putting in effort; tests are designed to truly test what you've comprehended. Studying is a must, but you will learn so much under his guidance. For those going to school to really learn, choose Spindler.

Dr. Spindler is an AMAZING teacher! I learned so much more than I thought I would during his class. He offers extra credit, and I suggest taking the extra credit opportunities he gives. The only complaint is that we sometimes finished class early, but overall I HIGHLY recommend him.

Amazing professor! He honestly wants you to learn and retain the information in the course. The book is definitely not necessary and he provides you with great notes. There are a lot of extra credit opportunities and you can be exempt from the last exam if you maintain an A throughout the course. I'm taking him for A&P II as well and I'm excited

Dr Spindler is one of the best instructors I''ve ever had I made an A. He''s not an easy A but if you''re looking for an easy A you shouldn''t take AP and you certainly shouldn''t go for an allied health degree. I''m in the nursing program and several times I''ve gone back into my notes from his classes to get clarification on different topics.

His class isn't a walk in the park, but if your going into the medical field and you actually want to learn, TAKE HIM! Such a smart, great teacher!

Mr. Spindler is a GREAT teacher. He really does try to make his students understand the material. He is a very knowledgeable man about the medical field, he adds great tips for those joining the field. I slacked off at first, but still ended up with an A. He does pop-up quizzes, but they are extra credit and they really do help a lot! Just STUDY!

Be prepared to study - a lot. Tests have many dependent questions where if you get one question wrong, you will get the other wrong. Knowing the content is essential. Lab portion of the exams are easy if you take the time to memorize everything. The extra credit will save you. He is a good teacher, but 12 the class dropped.

Dr. Spindler is the bomb when it comes to taking this man's class. He is very knowledgable about the material and shows you step by step information you will need for AP2, and for future reference in the medical field. I'm taking him again for AP2 as I enjoyed his class that much. If you are looking for the best anatomy class, this is it!

Best teacher I have had at the college yet. I went in knowing that this would be a hard class for me but the way he teaches, made it easy for me to understand and did very well in his class. He is extremely knowledgeable and tells u what u need to know for the tests.

If you're going into the medical field, you will learn more than what you're paying for. Very fast-paced, write down EVERYTHING. Study bolded items in .doc files, draw out diagrams yourself, use txtbk to clarify physiology. Pop quizzes and 1-2 assignments but all those pts are extra cred (75). 5 written + lab exams. Worked hard for my A+.

Excellent Instructor - I wish there were more classes I could have taken from him. I took the 8 week AP2 - it was tough, but if you study and write down everything from lecture you will pass with an A. Studying is mandatory.

Learned so much impt info from his class. If you think hes hard you will not survive at the university level. He made my neurology, pathophysiology, and all other science courses at UCF a breeze after his lectures and memorization. Highly recommend if going deeper in medicine. Best prof I wish he taught all my classes. So easy to follow along.

He is a great professor. Lots of experience in the medical field, gives the best advice on what is good for you personally. I have learned so much in his class, he makes it to where you can understand it. Test are not that hard if you study enough. Studying is mandatory and you can not miss class. I am excited to take him next semester for A&P2.

Dr. Spindler is one of the best instructors I have had in all of my college years (I have lots of degrees). Do not even waste your money on the book, print out what he is going to go over, go to class, take notes and study for every class - he gives pop quizzes but they are all for extra credit. Study your notes and you will do fine!

If you want/need to know Anatomy, or are thinking of going into the health field, TAKE SPINDLER! It may seem overwhelming with the amount of information he has you study (and at times boring), but it is definitely for your own benefit! He gives 4 tests, 4 "labs", and 10 quizzes. ALL the quizzes are extra credit! 100 extra credit points in total.

Offers extra credit quizzes almost every class up to 10pts so its very possible to get over 100s in the class. Lecture notes, outlines, and reviews are provided. The content may be challenging but Spindler makes it manageable to learn thoroughly. Lots of advice for future health science majors (he definitely knows his stuff).

Amazing teacher!! Always late for class but sooo worth it. He breaks things down & relates it to what you want to be (nurse, dr., PA). Lets you out early. He gets off subject sometimes but it usually always relates to the lecture. Pop quizzes are extra credit and attendance. midterms and finals are easy if you study.

He gave a lot of information on clinically relevant topics. He passed quickly over material that was esoteric and spent of lot of time explaining (with detailed white board diagrams) the essential ideas that medical professionals must know. I ended up with a 106% and I didn't even need to take the last unit exam because I had such a high grade.

He's a great professor. His class is very hard, so you do need to study... a lot. But everything that is on the test he goes over. He will gladly help you and answer any questions you have. He doesn't use the book and only teaches relevant material. He also applies the material you learned to real life scenarios.

He is in the medical field so he knows how to prepare you for the real world, and teaches you material you actually need to know. His test are a little difficult. They are lecture and lab. Lecture is multiple choice and lab is all fill in the blank and need to know how to spell. You get out early most days except for test days. I would recommend.

This guy is a medical doctor and a nurss practitioner AND a teacher. He knows his stuff and will go into detail. Don't expect an easy A but if you put in the work, you will get a good grade. All his topics are clinically relevant and actually have real life medical applications. I had him for Immunology.

Dr. Spindler made A&P 1 simple, insightful, and enjoyable. He focuses only on what is applicable to the medical field and skips over things that are out-dated and useless. He does like surprise quizzes; however, they are all extra credit and serve as a useful gauge to measure test-readiness. If you are pursuing a career in medicine, take him!

Tough to take notes from. High grades are definately earned. Best to use multiple sources to learn concepts. That being said, he cuts to the chase about what is needed to know for medicine and what's fluff. I highly recommend recording the lectures. EFSC is lucky to have a teacher like this.

Dr SPINDLER is amazing, he really gets you to know what you need to know for the medical field. Strictly memorize what he says to know. EXTRA CREDIT worth up to an additional 20% on top of your grade. Rounded my grade as well. Good guy taking for anatomy 2!

He is very knowledgable and is very experienced in the medical field. Very strict about NO electronics. Moves very fast through lectures and expects you to teach yourself a lot of material at home. Overall a good class, he is very good at explaining the material. Hard tests, all quizzes are extra credit.

Awesome teacher. I've taken his classes multiple times, both classes BS 2093&94 I took in 09 and did great. Both classes were too old and took 2093 with him again. He really gives good examples of medical situations that you can link to what your learning. BEWARE OF POP QUIZ'S-extra credit tho & make sure to study/keep up and you'll do good.

Student's complaining on here are being naysayers. Dr. Spindler is a wonderful professor and this class was way too easy in comparison to UCF's anatomy. Yes, you have to study. That's medical field. I'm tired of hearing ya'll complain. If you can't handle this--don't even try MD, RN or PA.

Took for A&P1. 4 major exams. 100pts are multiple choice, 25pts are fill in the blank labs. If you take lots of notes and study you'll do fine. He'll tell you everything you need to know. Almost every week you'll have a pop quiz, always extra credit. Can really boost your grade. I've really enjoyed his class. Trying to take for A&P2

What an amazing teacher. Extremely knowledgeable in the field, and very funny. Easy to understand. However, he teaches the class like you are going straight into the field of nursing, and he's serious about it, so you should be too. Study hard, and you'll be fine. If you are excited, passionate, and interested in learning about anatomy, even better

By far my most favorite professor of all time. He is a working MD and when I asked what would he do different in his career he said he would have started teaching sooner. He gives you exactly what you are going to be tested on, points out information you may see on state licensing exams for different medical professions, & sticks to applicable info

Dr. Splinder was amazing !! I am very happy I took him for A and p2. He does care for his students and makes sure that you make through his class. Is very smart knows his stuff. He is also always making the class fun by doing some jokes and things. I did very much like that! He makes sure you understand the material and tests your ability to do so

This class was super hard but Spindler is amazing professor. He gives you exactly the info that is going to be on the tests in his lectures and he also gives you helpful hints for the TEAS. He gave four tests each one with a multiple choice part and a fill in the blank part. You have to study like crazy to pass. Also never use your cell in class

I loved him!! Unfortunately due to a program deadline, I was unable to take him for A & P2, but will most definitely take him for Microbiology. He knows his stuff and has a way of explaining hard subjects in a way they make you say, Oh! Okay! And you never forget it! His quizzes are straight forward & always on the notes covered in last class.

I had professor Spindler before and during Coronavirus and from my in-person class he was great, his tests are very hard if you don't study, but does give a buffer with extra credit pop-quiz's. His lecture are hilarious, he actually wanted to get "intercostal space" into people's heads and stabbed a skeleton.

I took him for Intro to health care and human anatomy and physiology 1 & 2. Quizzes are timed but are straight from the notes. Hes very understanding and gives great advice if you plan on going into the medical field. Every class was very small so no pop quizzes or discussion boards. He goes over the actual exams in class before you take it.

Super easy class, we met on mondays and the monday wednesday class met mostly only in mondays so we were able to keep on the same lessons, quiz every week ... every few lessons there was a test and lab test, everything was done online but lectures were in person. Pretty much every quiz had 2 attempts. Hes a super awesome teacher 100% recommend

Don't take this class if you do not like to write. Discussion posts are 500 to 750 words and then there are 25 question quizzes that you have 30 minutes for. Make sure to space out the work and READ THE TEXTBOOK. Most of the answers and the diagrams are straight from the textbook. Be sure to credit any source used in the posts or you will get a 0%

Loved Prof. Spindler. I took him in the summer as a hybrid class for Tuesdays and Thursdays. Class was mandatory on Tuesdays but not Thursdays. We had a couple of quizzes a week, a discussion once a week ( wasn't that lengthy), a total of 3 exams that you're able to take online, and then you have the proctored lab final. I didn't require a textbook

Dr. Spindler has by far been one of my favorite teachers during my entire time at EFSC. He is brilliant and I truly enjoy his lectures.
