Prof. Duncan is the best. He teaches very well and you come out understanding the concept of macroecononics. Quizzes after each chapter and then he drops the lowest grade.

Prof. Duncan is an excellent professor. He clearly explains topics with real life examples. His quizzes are mostly true or false, except one where you have to do some simple calculations. Drops 2 lowest quiz grades, and gives bonus questions on exams and quizzes. I studied from notes, rarely read the textbook, and still managed to get an A.

No need to purchase the textbook, Prof. Duncan gives excellent notes. The exams are simple true or false and/or multiple choice and he even drops the two lowest scores. He is very helpful.

Professor Duncan made Macroeconomics very interesting. He used reality when explaining the different economic terms. He also reviewed the material before each exam, which was very helpful. I truly enjoyed taking ecoomics with Professor Duncan.

He's a great professor. I took Macro online, and I thought it was well done. You have to participate in discussions a few times each week and write essays every week, but it wasn't difficult. You'll have a good experience with Dr. Duncan. Just participate and hand in your essays on time and you'll be fine.

Well Prof Duncan is a good professor. I just wish his exams weren't so difficult, especially with the surprise questions occassionally. He covers little basic concepts of math, but is mostly focused on teaching yu vocabulary words such as supply and demand. You have to buy the textbook for this class, because he uses the textbook tremendously.

Four exams, drops one (the lowest grade). Clear on what will be on exams, but you should still read the chapters to guarantee a high score. Two exams are tricky, two are easy. All in all you will come out with a good understanding of intro micro-economics. Prof. Duncan is highly recommended!

I took macro online with Duncan and I really enjoyed the class. You do need the text book and there is a lot of writing involved but I feel that I walked away with a decent understanding of macro. I went to tutoring a few times for clarification but otherwise Duncan is great. He's fair with grading and thought-provoking. Take him!

This was an online class (to keep in mind); it was pretty standard (weekly assignments + discussion board postings), and although i felt the prof was helpful, it wasn't always evident that we could ask for help or get clear answers to our questions.

Great professor, really nice. The only problem with him is that he is not very good at communicating with students. I took his online class and asked him several questions and he never answered. We only had to take one test for the whole semester.

I had this prof for caribbean studies and It was fun and interesting...he teach in a way that you will understand put enjoy the class at the same time...he does ask for much...just that you dont use your cell during his class and pay attention...I got a great grade in his class...and Im lookin fordward to eco with him

Prof. Duncan is very interesting and cool. I took his ECO201 class in Spring 11. All you need to get a good grade in his class is to listen to him carefully during the class, take notes clearly, and review your notes before exams. He made complex concepts easy and understandable. I highly recommend you to take his class.

Took him for summer 1. Good guy but rushes through class. When you have an exam he rushes you out. A lot of information but worth it. Gives 3 exams all multiple choice and about 5-7 quizzes T/F. Fair grader he gives you extra points at the end. Take class if u need credit.

Prof. Duncan is AMAZING! One of the best professors at BMCC and he is hilarious! I've learned more from him in one day than all my other classes put together. Every teacher should be like him. Since this was a online class there was a lot of writing but manageable. There was also a lot of reading. The grading criteria is clear and the Professor helps with written lectures to supplement the reading. No test were given but the homework is challenging. Enjoyed class overall.

Hilarious professor, Take notes in class, study every day for just 5 minutes reviewing notes and before your quizzes do quizzes behind the section of the chapter in textbook. If you can do just this, you'll get an A.

Professor Duncan makes economics interesting by incorporating his own personal stories into the lessons. Your grades are completely based on quizzes and exams, but many of them are true/false questions. He's a great professor, but not perfect. He doesn't take the time to answer questions properly if you're confused on a concept, so be proactive.

He also gives you extra credits if you didn't well on your exam/quizzes. In the end, he boosts your grade up which I'm surprised.

He has amazing examples that truly helps you better understand some of the terms. The class can be a bit challenging because of his accent and his handwriting on the board, but overall he teaches with a passion. He makes sure he covers everything and that everyone understands the lectures. Majority of the quizzes are from the notes/ some @ textbook

I took his ECO201 fully online class. Get ready to post a lot of assignments and long answers, but he is a good grader and a fair professor. The best part of his course was that we didn't have a final!! There was a question about the capitalist economy, and the response was required to be at least 600 words. But no exam kinda final.

Dont be lazy ! Assignments due every Saturday night at 11:59PM. Final Essay at the end pretty easy. Answers for weekly assignments are online .. invest in Chegg for help and youll do 100% fine. Id recommend reading the assigned material to really understand what it is youre being taught. Overall easy A , I even missed a few assignments.

Bypass the lectures, do the readings on your own and you will pass. NO MIDTERM! Final is a 4-7 page essay on a given topic. Weekly hw assignments and DB you have to complete by deadlines and respond to classmates, do this and you will pass.

Asynchronous class. Get ready to work for your grade. No exams ONLY assignments and discussions but be warned, they're NOT easy. Assignments and discussions are due every 3 days. Why no exams? if you're able to answer the Q&A there's no need for the exams. That's all that's needed for this class. Not an easy A but not super hard either.

TAKE THIS CLASS! EASY A! One discussion board + response to classmates and one assignment is the weekly work. The reason I got a C is because he deletes the assignments from BB once they are past due so you must be on top of your work. He is a super light grader so as long as you do the work you should definitely get an easy A!

Take this class. One db post and one assignment weekly. I took the asynchronous class, and it was easy. The only thing is, you have to make sure you finish before the exact time it's due. He sets it up for it to close after the assigned date. For the final he has his own textbook that you use to answer questions which you have to buy for 5 bucks.

Great class with interesting discussion boards. Typically one assignment and one discussion board per week. Do not turn in your work late and read the textbook and you should be good to go!

I took in-person. it was not bad. He didn't write note on the board usually, it's just point. I couldn't read his hand writing often. He was talking talking teach style. He sometimes asked us to submit what did you learn today so you must take note during class. He didn't have practice exam, he just gave us vocabulary list that we used in class.

This was one of the best classes I took in the fall. I took this course asynch. There were no exams, and it was more response-heavy. The grading criteria was very clear; if you complete your work on time and use the powerpoints provided as evidence--- you will pass :)

One discussion post + Reply and One assignment weekly. Pretty easy as long as you answer and have the discussion post at the word minimum, it's not too hard. No exams too which makes the class not too stressful at all!
