Teaches, the exams seem to be compeletly different, does what he is paid to do.
I disagree with the other rating. His exams are so much like the quiz that he gave. Homework are extra credits, all take home quiz, and exam are just like the quiz add together. Computer assignments (excel) are easy points.
Mt. SAC has lots of teachers who cant speak artiulcate english. This guy can be understood.
doesn't even go over homework, talks about golf and family issues more then math (which he is there to teach for) not helpful at all
Just make sure you know how to do all of your take home quiz then you will do fine on exams.
GREATEST TEACHER
He is a very cool teacher, he was very helpful. He gives tests often, but it helps.
he is cool. he can get onto a random topic and talk about it for awhile but it doesnt bother anyone. hes funny.
Doesn't go by the book, thinks he is the book. No one in my class is getting higher than a C. Lectures are not helpful. He isn't funny.
really cool guy. explains material thoroughly.
STAY AWAY! You WILL FAIL! He can be funny when he's not talking about math. Other than that, he's not a very good teacher. He expects you to know everything and teaches way too fast. SOmetimes when he did a problem on the board, he'd skip steps and you'd get all confused. Pick someone else.
Don't take him. esspecially if you are not great at math. Take joan scolars instead. She's awsome.
Great teacher. Explains material throughly and tests are not difficult. I recommend this professor to anybody who's not very good in math.
I took his 9 wk course and it was a breeze. He is very clear and funny. If math is your weakness, he's a great instructor.
he is a great teacher. my first stats teacher didnt even speak english so al was a MAJOR improvement. i highly recomend him; hw is extra credit and the quiz's are take home. the tests are medium in difficulty but he'll stay after class to explain a concept so it shouldnt be too difficult to pass
overall he is an okay teacher. His exams are hard so you must really study hard. And he loves football, he can talk on and on about football
Al is a really funny guy. His explanations are easy to follow and very thorough. Highly recommended. You will have fun with him while at the same time grasping mathematical concepts (unless u r an idiot). Homework counts as extra credit and improves your grade if you aren't doing so well in class. He is accessible and very approachable.
Great teacher! This professor really empowered me to learn mathematics with confidence. I recommnd him to any student who has trouble in math.
Goes to fast, quizes are hard and test are harder. Took another teacher and I got an A!
He is a really good teacher. He explains things very clear. I never understood math but in his class i always got As on his tests...99 on the last 3! if math is not your best subject take him because it will become so easy!
When i got in the class i thought it was going to be cake... Then he would start teaching and would say i am not going to review this and it will be on the test. There were no pre-test to study from or anything. i got an F!! i did all the extra credit homework, all the computer assignments, but i bombed the tests!! so don't take this class lightly
Excellent Stat teacher. Take home quizzes, homework is extra credit, tests build off quizes and homework. Teacher is very friendly and open to questions. The bad ratings are probably from people who did not take the time to proces the material, of course the tests will be hard if you didn't learn from the homework. Do the work and you will do well.
Lots of homework and doesn't help out all that much.
Um, yeah...not such a good prof - just read what the people below my rating said since they can sum it up better than I can.
This was a 9 week condensed class so it went by pretty quick but nonetheless, the teacher was great! got to get a good review on some of the basic math. Teacher is nice, pretty easy. just do the hw to add up points. tests are pretty clear and easy too! i would def take him again for another math class!!
This was my second time taking him for math. He is a really good teacher. I never did well in math until i took him...now i'm getting A's. Everything is clear and easy to understand, if you don't get something he's always available to help you if you have questions. Tests aren't that bad either. Gives a lot of exta credit.
This is absolutely very nice professor, he cares students alot, giving them advice from each scenario. I would definetely recommend him. He is very reasonable and gives extra credits to take home, just do what he tells you to do you will pass the class, home-works are set to two weeks, no rushing. Take this teacher. Note that he may make fun of u.
Very good stats teacher. I took him for the 9wk course, and he made everything very doable. He's very thorough. He's really good at explaining the topics. Doesn't leave the topic until everyone has understood it. Always is there to help out during, or before class. Lots of extra credit! I highly recommend taking him.
One of the best math teachers I have ever had. Everything was clear and easy to understand. Always had time to help and make sure everything was understood. Easy hw, tests pretty easy. just take the notes and do your hw and you will b fine.
Class was not hard just a lot of homework, but I took the 8 week course. As long as you do all your homework regularly you'll pass, He's really clear on the material I recommend taking him, the class won't be difficult at all
He's a good teacher, he'll crack you up with his constant questions... you'll see. I liked him, he's helpful. If you ask for help I think he's more lienient on grading your tests.
He doesn't quite explain everything so it is easy to understand, but really enjoys teaching. He likes to make the class laugh and integrate real world situations with statistics. Exams can be confusing, but if you do your extra credit homework, you'll pass with flying colors.
Al is pretty clear with his teachings. If you fall behind in his class youll most likely not pass. Homework is extra credit. Computer assignments arent too shabby. Wouldnt mind taking him again.
Super teacher. Hes not bothered if you don't get through the entire book as long as everyone understands. Tests are similar to quizes, never any surprises.
He goes over chapters in the book that are not going to be on the exam before the exam. He is useless in his office hours. He gives little to no EC.He is fast and rarely slows down he assumes that you know it already. He gives no study guides.Look for another teacher...he is kinda funny but that is it.
He's an okay teacher. He's not as cool as people write him to be. He goes over a problem once and does another similar one. He expects you to know what you are doing once he shows us once. But at least he's not boring. So if you like his teaching style take him. I would take someone else befor him.
I am not a math person but I thought that he is a great professor. I got an A in his class. Do the homework. Before each test, review by solving the problems at the end of each chapter in the book. He teaches slow, clear, and he tries to make sure that everybody understands. He has a good sense of humor. He is humble.
I took his 6-week class last summer. it was a lot of homework just because i only took him for only 6 weeks. You have SHOW ALL your work in order to get full credit on your homework, graphmatica assignments, and exams. he's a pretty funny teacher and reminds me of Al from home improvement. you will learn a lot from him, and he LOVES word problems.
He is a very helpful teacher. Hi is able to explain well the material and is willing to help you out. Take Him
Brother Al is the man. I like his teaching style, he explains the material pretty well, and helps whenever you have questions. His test can be a little hard but he grades pretty generously. Just do the homework and study the notes and you should be able to pass his class. Recommended teacher.
EXCELLENT TEACHER! He's really there to help and hes very easy to understand...turns a totally boring/hard subject into something very easy.
I took his 8 week course. good teacher explains material well. just be on time if you're planning to take the 8 week course because there is a lot of work to be covered and he moves fairly quickly
I took his stats class as a short term 8 wk class. Homework was extra credit which i never did bc it was so easy. He shows u how he grades test. Never any surprises and he is very helpful! He uses time effeciently! I recomend this class to anyone!
he is really helpful.he teaches the leture really good he goes slow but you will understand him. you dont need the book in class.the test are some what easy.i got a b. i will recommend him.
Great teacher! I took him in 8 week class all his homework was extra credit and he had more extra credit throughout the class. I suck at math but he was there if I needed help.
Before taking this class, I had previously failed Math 51. I took the 8 week course and got an A! He explains everything well and offers extra credit. I'm not a math person at all and he made it enjoyable. He's funny, too!
Very helpful. Extra Credit. Study and do the homework and you will be sure to pass.
I took an 8 wk course so I probably had a harder time. He is a nice guy but if you take an 8 wk class be sure you already know the material. Its fast and he doesn't have time to slow down and your grade will suffer. This is not a class for learning from the beginning, its a class to review and get through quickly.
heis a good professor. the notes are clear and the homework is extra credit. the tests and quizzes are from the hw so you need to do it. but its not alot to cope with. I got a C and slaked off towards the end. i would deff recomend him to my friends
he is by far the best statistics teacher out there. He offers extra credit which helps out alot. He explains the information very well. I took it in eight weeks and got a B+. He helps you out he answers your questions. plus he makes it really fun
Go to class, take notes, study quizzes and handouts for the exam and you'll do fine. I did the homework for the extra credit which helped push me to an A but I didn't think the homework helped me for the exam. Took it in 8 weeks and wasn't too hard. He's very easy going.
I took the 8 week course which was not as bad as i thought it would be. He explains everything very thoroughly and gives a module for every chapter or so. As long as you don't miss class you should not have a problem passing.
I took the 8 week course and found it to be pretty easy. I recommend doing the homework. Although you don't really have to do it, it pays to practice, especially for the tests.
Albert is a great math professor!! He is very clear when explaining the problems out. I recommend him if you have a hard time understanding math. Do the homework (for practice) and you'll do good on the test. Also, make use of the Marc lab!!
HE'S THE BEST TEACHER EVER....HE EXPLAINS EVERYTHING REALLY GOOD...AND MAKE THE THINGS EASY....JUST DO YOUR HW AND PAY ATTENTION ...AND YOU CAN GET AN EASY A...HE'S FUNNY AND A GREAT PERSON.
Professor K is one of the best Math professors. He is very nice and funny. Especially if you are taking a 7AM summer class, you wan't a funny professor who is in a good mood. I'm terrible at math but just payed attention and did most of my work and got a B
first of all you have to do your work, the tests are the problems given in the homework assignments. He's approachable, and really wants to teach his students. Personally I dislike math but he made it easy. I dont know if I would have passed if I took it with someone else.
Great teacher, really helps you, he really wants to make sure everyone passes.
He is so easygoing and funny!! i mean he's always cracking jokes making the class so interesting. Just attend his classes and do the EXTRA CREDIT homework, and you'll do well on the tests. I took his 8 week class and it went really well for me since i liked the fast pace we went at.
he is so funny! very helpful even on office hours. very easy to talk to about grades and the class. if you have any questions he was always willing to answer. tries to make jokes to lighten up the class (kinda works). class is easy if you do all the work. make sure you do the hw it adds up towards your final grade.
His Fall/Spring classes fill on the first day, so unless you have priority registration, I suggest you wait until Summer/Winter to take him if you have had trouble with math in the past. Since most people with priority get the good math profs and pass, they don't have to go to Summer/Winter semester, so his classes stay open for a few extra days.=)
He is so clear you will lol at how easy the material is once he goes over it. Unfortunately for us busy people, you have to do the take home stuff to pass. I did fairly well on the exams, but only completed half of the homework and earned a D. Np though cause I took the placement exam before grades were turned in and passed. See you guys in 71 lulz
awesome teacher. Highly recommended. He is really clear. Help you a lot. Do the take home quizes. They are the same as exam questions. Everyone should pass this class. Plus HW is extra credit. :D
Al is an awesome guy. He always wears those prifessional shirts with shorts. He is clear and cracks jokes to help understand the concepts. HW is extra credit which HELPS! Put time to study and you'll be fine. 8 week course is fast so be ready to have less free time for a while.
He is a cool professor. I've never been that great at math but statistics was really interesting. He is funny and really clear at explaining everything. Homework is extra credit, so do it! quizzes are take home and practically the same questions that you'll see on the exam so do them and be sure to understand them! overall great class :)
Took first 8 wks class. He was nice and funny. Material was hard(to me) at first and it was getting easier towards the end of semester.Review the notes and WS for the test, and you will be okay. Also the hw is EC.3 tests and 1 final(only contains test2&3 material)
Math has never ever been a strong subject of mine but Al did a pretty good job of keeping the material clear and easy to understood. Initially, I made the subject harder upon myself but he is always in his is always open to answering questions, HW is extra credit so recommend you do that and quizzes are take home!!
I thought he was sloppy and behind all the time, he assigns to much homework for any adult with a life other than school to finish.
I took his 8 week statistics course. He is a very nice guy and wants his class to succeed. It is definitely doable if you do the homework, take the extra credit quizzes, and do the computer assignments. Also, he is helpful in his office hours if you don't understand.
Good professor, funny and always talks about gambling lol. No tricks to his exams. Notes are straight forward and clear. Take home quizzes and offers extra credit by doing homework. Just study the material and pay attention. -JP
If you struggle with math take him and you will not regret it!!!!!!!!!!!!1
A real kind professor that makes math fun! I struggled with math but once I took his class, something just clicked. I highly recommend him!
"Thank You Professor Al for adding me to your class" I am so glad I took his class cuz he taught us so much. Class is not easy, but u must do all 3 computer projects, all hws, all quizzes, n attend all meetings, and Most of All STUDY HARD! He taught me what it meant to earn a B in class, n I'm grateful to him.
He is the best math professor u will ever find in the school. He taught us so much with such sincerity n thrive us to succeed. I have never work so hard for a B in my life! But it was so worth it cuz he make sure ppl earn their grades. Thanks prof. Al for ur kindness n professionalism. Highly recommend him to all students. RT
good professor
I've taken math 50,51 and currently 71 with him, as part of the Pathways to transfer program, (51 & 71- 8 weeks each) He is very easy going and tries to help when you dont undertand somthing. Class attendance is required, do the hw points add up and help in the end. He makes math fun and easy to understand.
Pretty easy professor, explains and clarifies as much as possible. Go to class, do the hw and process sheets, and just TRY on the tests and you'll do fine.
6 sections of H/W, 100 problems each, due every 2 weeks. 4 tests, 1 final cover Rat. Exp., Lin. Eqt., Qad. Eqt., W/P. 1st and 2nd tests are long; covers a variety of math, the other is complex. Grades based on straight points. No curves, no E/C. He relies on MARC for details to H/W. 2/3 of the points to safely pass. 38 began, 12 took the final.
He makes everything very clear. I highly suggest him. The only people who don't pass his class are ones who don't do the work. If You do his assignments you will pass his exams without fail. He is very funny, cute and lovable. He's like the ideal American dad you'll love him. Take his class
Al is a phenomenal teacher! Gives many extra credit opportunities that not only bump up your grade, but help you learn the material better. Explains things very clearly, even if it takes him a few times to explain it due to someone not understand it a certain way the first time. You can tell he is passionate about the subject and teaching it.
He is very clear about letting you know what is on the exams. He is funny, likes to interact with students, and does a good job of making class enjoyable. I found his class challenging only because I struggle with math. I would recommend taking him if math isn't your strongest subject.
he is a best math teacher for math 51.
The main problem is he does not enforce non distraction rules. Phones were constantly going off, people were talking, and he didn't say anything. Tests are too hard and too often. Taunts students by making you wait for your grade. Calls out students with bad scores in front of the class. If you struggle with math, he's not for you.
Al is an okay professor, if you have time to read every chapter then take him. He does make class go by a little fast with his little jokes, but he doesn't show that many examples and wants you to read the chapters so you can get it...
He's a really good teacher I got Fs on all my math classes and got a B with him
Great math professor! Took him for summer and fall semester. He is very clear with the material being taught. He's always willing to ask questions! Really outgoing and always cracking jokes. One of the best professors I've ever had at Mt. Sac
Straight to the point. Lots of Dry humor and jokes. No. Days. Off. Never cancels class. Study guides way easier than exams. Doesn't teach everything within a section which can hinder homework progress.
Shout out to Al! I've always struggled in math and in fact failed 71 a year ago and was traumatized on taking it again until I took Al. Not only is he funny and sarcastic but this man will go in depth on how to do things, that even someone like me got high B's on my exams. On tests he gives some credit for trying and getting the idea down Do the hw
Don't usually rate professors but this guy was awesome. He teaches slow so if you struggle with math than this is the class!! Took 51 twice and failed them. Took this guy once and got a high B. Really recommend this professor.
I took Al for Math 51, 71, and 110 and I don't regret it one bit! His grading criteria is clear and he always gives out opportunities for extra credit. Exams are fairly easy as long as you attend class and do the homework. Beware though: he NEVER cancels class and he has an attendance policy. Overall, he's a funny guy who obviously loves teaching.
I took MATH 71 & 110 w/ Prof. Kirchgraber. Succeeded in both classes mainly by paying attention, taking notes, doing hw, and studying. Because it was a pathways class, we only had a specific amount of time to cover the whole book. I recommend going to the MARC for tutoring or the textbook for hw if you don't want to buy it.
Took him for the math pathways 71/110. Go to class, do the homework (it is alot of work) and get tutoring. I think if he sees you progressing and making an effort (by going to every class meeting) he will do everything he can to make it that you pass. This is a fast-paced class, I wouldn't recommend it if your not willing to put in the work.
His class is pretty easy and slow, but in order to succeed in his class you have to show up to all of the meetings and take notes
Overall I guess he is an ok professor as he does cover a lot of lecture. Pretty much the whole class is nothing but lecture. Don't ask question. He is rude and sarcastic when it comes to asking for help. He makes you feel so stupid and talks to you in an irritated nd loud voice. Just rude and tell you stupid comments to make you feel low and stupid
I highly recommend Kirchgraber! He is an amazing professor and thorough in his lectures. He is a bit of a jokester and gives tons of homework, but the homework is a chance to earn lots of points. His class is lecture heavy but not boring. You will use the book a lot. There are plenty of resources if you need the extra help. Questions are welcome.
I have honestly never understood any form of math in my entire life until I took Kirchgraber. He explains things so patiently to his students and answers any and all questions we have without judgement. He's also readily available during office hours to answer any questions you might have on your quizzes/homework. TAKE HIM, YOU WON'T REGRET IT!
I took him for this fall semester and it felt like a summer or winter semester. He rushes his class sooo much. Homework is back to back, even on exam days. You have one hour to take the test and then he continues on to the next lesson
He's very generous with extra credit. His lessons are easy to follow, and his take-home quizzes almost always reflect the tests. I always visited him during office hours because he's very helpful with looking over homework, quizzes, and computer assignments. I loved his class and he made statistics seem easy! :)
You really have to do well on his exams to pass. I took a 71 and 110 class and passed 71 but 110 I didnt. If youre not a good tester dont do it! Dont do this class if youre not good at math. Was kinda rude and moody for 110. Excel projects are important and get a head start on them, the SI will help you. Take notes!
Good teacher if you can take him with his SI shes amazing! He may be intimidating but he's really a good guy and will help you as much as he can. Do All the hw and ALL his extra credit it will help your grade
Al is very nice, funny, and easy going. He is lecture heavy & very straightforward but always willing to stop and answer questions. Also homework from the text (which can be found as an online pdf 13th e.) was for extra credit but he did give out quizzes for hw and 3 excel assignments. Overall an easy and enjoyable class.
Does not like to waste his time. He is very straight forward. All of the homework was extra credit due at the time of exams. Hands out takehome Quizzes (8) and excel projects (3-4). Keep in mind that your grade depends mostly on how you perform on exams. Final is worth 200 points. If you have test anxiety reach out to access.
I took this class for stats and I took math 11 with it too (support for stats). His class was for three hours and he lectured for a lot of it but then we did worksheets too. He has three tests and the final. You have to study hard because all of the tests are free response and hard. He goes up to chapter 10, so study hard.
This professor is great. He really wants you to understand the material but make sure to do the homework because that will help you with the class. Do NOT skip class! He makes it fun and he's overall super chill.
I took his math 110 online class and it went very well. Albert does not like to waste time so be ready to take notes and pay attention. If you struggle with math I recommend you taking Albert. Make sure to due all the homework and attend his office hours if you need help. Overall, he is by far the best math/Stats professor in my opinion. Thanks AL!
Great professor lots of work and in class is a must has three quizzes and one final all in his final overall good teachet.
Good Professor adapted to the online teaching pretty well. The hw assigned is reasonable and helpful to understanding the subject. His lectures and notes are great taught Stats pretty well. Glad to have taken his class.
Did not care for his class. I took this class online. My cousin who has taken Stats at another college overheard when I was in his lecture and asked why we were doing things the hard way. Mr. Kirch likes to make you do a lot of work and show you work. I end up dropping his class because the workload. We have calculators for a reason..
Took him for MATH 110 and the support class. I had failed my first semester with a different professor that left me haunted lol but when I took Prof.K's class he had the teaching style that is very step by step oriented and is willing to make sure you understand before moving on. All the h.w came from the support class but well worth doing.
The class was a little hard, but his lectures were so helpful and he explains everything very clear. I would definitely take another course with him
I am very bad at math and I first took this class with someone else and received an F, I then retook it with Kirchgrabber and joined his office hours anytime I needed help understanding assignments. I feel like he really tries to make sure every understand math. I was able to pass with a C
One of the best Professors I have met. Extremely clear instructions. I really enjoy his classes.
Professor Kirchgraber, or Albert, is overall a solid professor. He cares about what he teaches and does his best to make life easy for his students. However, there were days that were just unbearable to be in his class because he can come off as a VERY "grumpy old man". "Extra credit" is a whole section of homework for ONE point each.
Extremely professional. You can tell he has taken the time to perfect his lesson plan so that any student of any background can find success in his class. He also cares about the students who want to learn the material. If you attend his office hours and apply yourself, he will make sure you have the tools needed to pass the class.
Al is such a great professor. He tests you on exactly what he wants and what he doesn't he will tell you. No surprises when it comes to the way he grades he takes your total points at the end of the semester and adds it up. Score well at the beginning and the final exam will be a breeze. I enjoyed his teaching style very much.
Amazing! Very clear with his lectures, he lets you know what will be on the exams, quizzes are take home! I took this in winter so it was VERY fast-paced but he is always available every day before class for his office hours. HIGHLY recommend, He gave a final study guide & everything on there was similar to the final.Would definitely take him again
Big Al makes Stas 110 a lot fun
Al is an awesome professor, you can tell he really cares about teaching and his students. All his quizzes are take home, he provides a lot of material like handouts and worksheets that help prepare you for exams. If YOU put in the work and study this class is VERY passable. First time I took him I failed (my fault) 2nd time I tried and passed
I took this class with the support class and it truly helped. The hw had a lot of practice. He made sure to give clear instructions and lectures. He also made sure everyone knew what was on future exams and exactly what to study. Quizzes are take-home and very short. He goes slow so that everyone has time to take notes and is very understanding.
He really sets you up for success. I was terrified of taking this class I am not strong at math. Just do as he says, take notes. As long as you do the homework and study for exams you will be FINE! Go to class or you will be lost by the next class but he does post all the notes online. Also a very fair grader. You do get credit for trying.
I was terrified of taking a math class since I suck at math. But I took Al's class w/ support & it was very easy. Al described everything so easily & made everything so simple. There are 3 computer assignments & if you don't know how to use Microsoft he will take the time to teach you. He really wants you to succeed, really cares for his student's.
Albert was a character! He lectures quite slow and with some dad jokes but is a great teach. I took this class with math11 where we just continued work. Homework is all lined out for you and is checked bi-weekly. Frequent quizes you take home, graded worksheets you do together, 3 exams and a final (all easy if you pay attention and do your stuff.)
Helped me learn statistics easily and was entertaining in class. Would take again for another mathematics class. I recommend doing better on the exams and studying more often, otherwise you will get a B or C if you don't try in this class.
The exams are worth most of your grade, so study hard and take them seriously. He was organized, and his lectures were easy to follow. The worksheets that we work on in the class are basically what will be on the exam, so there are no surprises. He is always available to answer questions during office hours and wants his students to succeed!
Professor Kirchgraber was very straightforward with his criteria and gave no surprises on any exam. Study, do homework, and pay attention or you may get lost sometimes. A's and B's are very attainable with his teaching style. I would 100% recommend.
Great prof. He knows how to teach and actually cares about everyone. He made us turn in our homework every other week.
If you don't understand stats, no problem. Professor Al does a great job in explaining the sections in each chapter. As a student, do your part in showing up, go to office hours, and the MARCS center. Quizzes are easy and so is the homework and exams as long as you do your part!! Study at least 4-6 hours and you'll receive a passing grade.
in all honestly, he was ok, he taught the material well however if you take his course paired with support he just uses it as an extra hour. Non-stop yapping, he also gets extremely uptight when it comes to late attendance.
Professor Kirchgraber's MATH110 class is well-structured, with clear expectations and support. The homework, quizzes, and exams align closely, helping you prepare. Unstuckstudy was a game-changer for my study prep - it really complemented the textbook and class materials.
Yo this guy is actually amazing. He's organized, he's clear, he's understandable. He gives lots of homework (worth points) so your grade isn't tanked after a bad exam. He goes through problems and worksheets with us so we completely understand. Please please trust me, take this guy Kirch, just show up and you'll do great- very invested.
I took the support class as well. He used the support class to continue his lecture and get through the chapters, it's just more work and more confusing. For me it didn't work out. If you don't do good in two exams (notes not allowed) don't think the homework and computer assignments will get your grade up, since he is a tough grader.
Uses the support class to finish his lectures and starts new ones all rushed, makes it confusing. You can ask questions but be prepared to get criticized for some. Tough grader and leaves a lot hw. If you dont do good in some exams don't think computer assignments and hw will raise your grade significantly. Take this class if math is your major
To be honest, this professor is wack, I really recommend NOT taking his class. He has amazing lectures but when it comes to the exams, it seems like we never learned the Chapters for it. But if you fail 2/3 exams, there's ABSOLUTELY no way of bringing your grade back up.
Despite the mixed reviews this semester, I think Al is a great teacher with a straightforward style. His notes, worksheets, and take-home quizzes closely reflect the exams. Homework doesn't always match test content, so focus on his review materials. Since grades are test-based (like most Mt. SAC math classes), attend/study and you should do well.
He is a very caring professor and was very straight forward. I recommend taking it with the support 11 class he does offer a bit of homework but it's honestly for the support class. Participating really helps and he makes the work very understanding. He drops a few assignments as well I really do recommend his class!
Albert was great. very clear grading. VERY VERY good lectures. He'd spend a lot of time expanding subjects till you got it. The best thing he did was the quizzes and these little green packets- I think he called them worksheets- dude these things helped sooooo much when studying before exams. he does have a final study guide
