Slides are directly from the book. I bring the book to class and highlight important things as we go along. He does clickers so go to class. Tests 5 and 7 are kinda hard but other than that, it's a pretty easy class.
This professor is a funny guy. He will definitely keep you entertained. His slides go along with the book & he posts all of his lectures. Pretty easy class considering it is statistics.
I am terrible at math. Loved this class. He isnt the most exiting, but he is clear and gives practice tests almost identical to the real tests. FOLLOW IN THE BOOK. I basically taught myself this class. Clicker grades will help you so go to class.
When I first started Lee's class I was sure I would get a C or lower. It sucked. However, I ended up with a B because I 1) Started studying every lecture ppt 2) Learned calculator tricks 3) Did practice tests! Lee's pretty nice, too. You'll learn that he loves beer.
Hall is a pretty funny guy. Clicker grades were really important this year so class is mandatory. DO THE PRACTICE TESTS! They help a lot and he drops the lowest test grades and if you get a high grade on the final, all your grades prior to that turn into that grade.
Hard grader!
Lee isn't a bad teacher. The class was boring sometimes, however. He tends to go slow and overteach certain things. However, if you put effort into the class (practice tests, practice problems), then you'll definitely get a good grade. Mays is probably the better STAT teacher though. He subbed for our class a few times and he was much more fun.
Frequent typos in presentations occur in his equations. Mistakes are routine. Rather than learn useful statistical methods, the course is focused on doing the work by hand. The course culminates in doing the math for t-tests and ANOVAs by hand.
I am currently in this class and I am so frustrated! The professor is nice to talk to, but teaching wise, he isn't great. The presentations have errors in them, the homeworks are graded so harshly, and the tests are super long and hard to finish in the allocated time. I was looking forward to this class and now, I regret taking it.
Horrible teacher. Does nothing but read off of his powerpoints and smoke his e-cigar. His explanations are cloudy and complicated so asking questions is useless. The only way to learn the material is to read the book on your own. Class is pointless but you have to go for the clicker questions he grades for accuracy. Take someone else.
I loved Mr. Lee, I think he's hilarious, and he's a great professor to have. You have to be pretty much ready to learn on your own though, which works for me because I'm a very independent learner. It's easy to get lost during the powerpoints. However, if you do the practice tests and the practice problems, you'll do just fine
Lee is a unique character. He's interesting, but doesn't always make things clear. The class is easy enough that it doesn't really matter who you have. Do the textbook problems and practice tests. The tests are modeled after the practice tests. Mays taught us one day, and he's really good/knowledgeable (he wrote the textbook) as well as engaging.
Try to take a different STAT teacher if you can. Lee is a good guy but his teaching skills are lacking. He'll always keep you late, spends too much time talking about useless stuff in the beginning, or gets side tracked really easy. Talks about his personal problems a little too much and he's a harsh grader.
Lee's class is easy. You don't have to come at all. Read the power points online before you take your tests and it's an easy A. You'll soon realize he loves beer and smoking his e-cigar as he's teaching.
Does the best he can with what he's able to do. Genuinely funny and is always willing to ask questions and provide a helping hand. Class is easy for the most part - I got an A without too much effort even though math is not my strong subject.
Al Lee, quite funny and tries his best to make it interesting. A lot of information to cram into 50 minutes. If you can take a tues/thurs class do that instead. helpful and always willing to answer questions. don't skip the lectures, you will fall behind really quick. go to help sessions, and ask questions if you don't understand
This class was TERRIBLE. He takes off 30 pts if you forget to save hw as pdf. He takes of 25 pts for any format error; it doesn't matter if you get the content perfect. He has at least one mistake in every slide. His assessments are plagued with errors. All of his assignments are due BEFORE lecture. He teaches by reading Powerpoints. Beware!
This was one of the hardest classes I have had to take. Doesn't allow late work, won't grade work on back or work not stapled. He made the students accountable for everything and won't round grades. Covered a lot of material and made students learn some of it on their own. Does provide help sessions. Use his office hours. In the end, you learn alot
Professor Lee is very serious about statistics. For a subject that most people find boring, he does make it worth going to class. You should definitely go to class for the clicker points- I missed one class and lost a bunch- and in terms of studying, go over powerpoints and do the practice exams to get an easy A. Tough grader, but great teacher.
Has a test every 2 weeks and makes learning stats manageable. Participation is mandatory-ish? Your final exam grade will replace ALL of your grades lower than it with itself including attendance. So if you get an 80 on the final and all semester had an F and never went to class, then congrats you just passed!
I took half STAT 208 online and had Lee for lab. He's funny in class and tests aren't too bad if you go over the quizzes. He did weekly review sessions that were very helpful. Nice guy and not a bad professor.
He is a really good guy; however, he does not explain anything well, he goes much too quickly, and I basically have to teach myself before every test. Speaking of tests, careful, he is probably one of the most unfair graders I have ever seen. You can make the most minuscule mistake and it will be the difference between 100% and an 84%. One mistake.
This class was horrible and Lee is a terrible professor. The class was an easy A but Lee made it totally unbearable. His tests are based 100% on his practice exams and his lectures don't help whatsoever. The class is an absolute joke so to make up for it he grades very unfairly and inconsistently. Do yourself a favor and find another professor.
Mr. Lee is a tough grader but he is a very funny guy. I had to go to his office numerous times through the semester for help and he was always willing to help me with any questions I had. Be prepared to have to work in his class.
His class at first I actually enjoyed but after the second exam his lectures became rushed and would barely explain anything on the powerpoint. He seemed like he wanted to complete the powerpoint lecture's as fast as possible Each lecture consists of 50-60 slide powerpoint which became incredibly nauseating to try and keep up.
Although his lectures are confusing, the practice tests are the exact format of the test. Learn how to use the calculator and sit down and learn the concepts. I got a 66 on the second exam for careless mistakes. After using calculator and understanding concepts, I averaged about a 98 for the next three exams. Nice guy, helpful, and funny. Awesome!
He is very enthusiastic. He wasn't the most amazing at teaching but the class is very easy so it didn't matter. Many people say that he is a tough grader but I didn't think so. The practice tests were very helpful. I would definitely recommend.
He seemed like he rushed through every powerpoint lecture as fast as possible. He knows statistics very well and teaches as though you know it too. He goes so quickly simply trying to take any notes at all will set you back 4 slides left to catch up later. He expects you to know what formulas to use with out telling you.
He rushes through his powerpoints and you mostly have to teach yourself outside of class.
Be prepared to teach yourself everything outside of class. Relied on practice tests for all 7 tests and did ok. Test questions are worth 16-20 points. Very unfair grading, if you miss one word of the answer he takes off. Clicker points everyday. Each clicker question is worth 5 points, if you miss it you only get 1 point, 0 if you don't answer.
He isn't clear on what he is teaching in his lectures. He basically just reads his powerpoints so if you don't want to go to class you could just read the notes but you would miss out on a clicker grade which he combines as an exam at the end of the semester. Also, he doesn't write clearly when he corrects your mistakes on your exam.
Very clear. Lots of clicker questions, posts lectures on BB. Prepares you well for all tests very interactive and entertaining. Final is optional
GO TO THE REVIEW SESSIONS!!!! They will save your grade and DON'T wait to the last minute to attend.I recommend during the first week of school. Do the practice also. Prepare to zone out if you take Lee. Very nice professor, but has a very boring lecture.
Not a bad guy, but his homework tests topics before he covers them in class, so you have to teach yourself everything. Insane amount of homework for a grad class - 1-2 assignments due every class (not every week, every class). Homework is not very useful for the tests. Huge point deductions for tiny mistakes. Example R code has errors in it.
Mr. Lee is a funny teacher and will do anything for laughs in class. However he will click through power points very quickly. Lots of tests but the final is optional and can override low grades. Go to class because clicker questions happen and they are 12% of your grade. Over all a good class if you study on your own and do the practice tests.
I loved Prof Lee! He is hilarious and always in a good mood. He does go through the power points quickly, but he posts practice exams online before each test and they are almost identical to the actual test, just using different numbers. Do those and get an A.
Professor Lee is an awesome professor for Stat 210. His lectures sometimes go a little too fast but are always very helpful. He definitely cares a lot about his students and how well they do in class. Tests are straight from the lecture and if you study you'll get a high B/A no doubt. Would def reccomend
Lee made statistics easy. STAT210 is a lecture heavy class. He has a powerpoint for each class, which he always posts on Blackboard. He posts practice exams & formula sheets on Blackboard. He is funny & engaging, and it was a pleasure being in his class. There are 7 exams & a clicker grade, each 1/8 of the grade. Don't really need the textbook.
really enjoyed Albert Lee in stat 210 he is a fun professor to have. Tips for the class: 1) your practice tests are gold do them all at least twice and you got an A on the test 2) show up to class, he gives away all the clicker questions either in person or they're in the ppts so have them open in class! 3)u dont need the tb if your look at the ppt
The class starts out really easy but gets a little harder. He's really picky about answers on tests so be super careful! Always talked about his cowboys. He does his best trying to make boring material somewhat doable. Wouldn't take a class with him again though.
Avoid this professor at all costs. He takes off major deductions for extremely minor things, class is test-heavy and questions are worth huge amounts of points each. Lee reads directly off the power points. Class is basically just him commenting on his diabetes and making bad jokes. Take stat with Dr. Mays. THE BEST.
Albert Lee has a bad rep for being a "tough" grader. He does give partial credit. The STAT 210 curriculum is the same no matter what professor you have, so as long as you get a good grade on the practice exam, you will get an easy A/B on the test. Attend class because clicker grades are worth as much as a test. Final optional. Would recommend.
Reads directly from the powerpoints that were clearly made years ago, doesn't make course material relevant to real life, very test heavy which sucks because he's a REALLY tough grader. I had this class three times a week and that still couldn't keep my attention on what was happening in class. Boring and difficult.
This class is so easy. The tests are just like the online practice tests and you could literally not go to class all semester, get an A on the final, and pass the class. The final replaces any and all grade school lower than it. While it is graded on all exams it's so easy, GPA booster for sure.
Hoo boy this was the worst class I've taken at VCU by far. Dr. Lee was nice enough but the material was SO boring you'd have to do other homework in class to stay awake. Some folks said he was a tough grader but I thought he was really fair. Tophat is worth a bunch but you can do it from home too.
This class is extremely hard, but it is about the same with every teacher. You do not have to go to class but you will miss Tophat questions which count at the end of the semester. Must pay attention from the beginning. He is also quite loud.
Lee is a fair but tough grader. He even says so on day 1 of class and sticks to it. You will have to throughly know the material for tests he will give partial credit for showing your work. Be prepared to study for an A, B is realistic unless you are rain man. All lectures are on BB and he reads from them. There is a clicker grade on top hat.
funny and loud. grades his tests very tough, you have to actually go to class to understand what answers will give you the most credit. post practice test before each exam and they're identical to the actual test so its good to study from. if you take the final he will replace any test score lower than the final with the grade you got on the final.
He is an extremely tough grader because he doesn't give partial credit. The entire class was based on tests and a final project. Attendance wasn't mandatory in this course but there was only 4 people TOTAL in the class so it was obvious if you didn't show up. Reads off old powerpoints. Doesn't know how to code in R which is required for the class.
(Let me start off by saying I've always found math easier than other subjects so I'm a little biased.) I found Professor Lee to be pretty good at explaining things, and he gives good examples during lectures. He does go over things quickly sometimes so you have to pay attention. Textbook helped a lot, too.
No homework. 7 tests but he posts identical practice tests on blackboard before every test. The tests are short around 10-20 questions. Know the practice tests and you'll ace the class. Lectures are a little boring and he uses tophat so if you want to skip you should at least get on tophat and answer the class questions.
You could probably get away without having the textbook because his powerpoint are basically the textbook themselves, but STUDY STUDY STUDY! Unless you're a math genius go to class. This is not something that you can easily teach yourself. There are 7 exams + optional final which the final replaces your grades that lower than final grade go 2 class
I said mandatory class attendance but its just for tophat questions... its not that deep. he's really loud so don't take him in the morning if you're not a morning person. And if he finds something funny he will stay on it for ever and ever but he's pretty chill I guess.
Attendance is not mandatory but he does have top hat questions which you can answer from basically anywhere. Has practice tests which are almost identical to the real test. I got an A and taught myself each chapter 1-2 hours before the test.
We had a textbook but we barely used it, overall the class was pretty straightforward. You can skip but if you dont do the practice tests you will not do well in the class. Hes a harsh grader and doesnt give partial credit but the practice tests will help you, I strongly suggest doing them.
GO TO CLASS!! All the information you'll need is in the textbook honestly but he tells what he'll take point off for in class. He also goes through the lectures fast so hope you're a fast typer.
There's 8 grades: 7 exams and tophat. It's a good idea to show up to class because he does lots of tophat questions (easy if you're there) and because they're such a large part of your grade. Do the practice exams and you'll do fine. The final's optional and replaces every grade below it. He makes jokes to keep it interesting. Don't need the book.
There are 7 exams and an optional final. Attendance isn't mandatory but he gives the Top Hat answers in class, so it is good to go. Easy if you do the homework (not graded) and go over the practice tests.
You need the textbook because if you don't do the homework (yes, all of it) you're going to struggle. If you stop coming to class and try to answer the tophat q's at home- you're in for a bad time. Just come to class your grade will thank you for it. The way he's set up his final is the best I've had in a lOng time. If you have the choice, pick him
If math is intimidating to you, get ready to spend hours trying to figure out what you are doing. He just reads off the power points that are online and if it wasn't for top hat participation points, there would be no reason to go to class. Tests are easy if you know the info but he is a TOUGH grader and doesn't let you get away with any mistake.
Worst teacher I have ever had at VCU. He's a harsh grader on homework and tests. Strictly reads off the powerpoints that are all posted online before the class. Tells you that you have to use R to code the entire class, yet doesn't teach you how to use R. Instead, he gives videos that add up to about 30 hours for you to teach yourself R. Horrible.
He's a cool person, makes jokes non stop but STAT 210 is a class you have to teach to yourself, everything Is straight off of the powerpoint, so just show up for tophat, he's a very nice person he let me take a exam early, and if you go to office hours he's very willing to help.
This class is very easy just pay attention & take notes. Tophat is done everyday and he gives the answers to them all, easy grade booster. Exams are easy especially if you do the practice exams and go over the answer keys for them. If you don't understand just go to a review session. No homework is given & your only grades are from exams & tophat
He was a pretty good professor. There's a lot of exams but that comes with every Stat 210 class I think. Uses tophat questions during class which counts as a grade but gives you the answer a lot, so it should be a grade booster by showing up to class. For tests- if you go over the notes and do the practice tests you'll be fine.
Professor Lee teaches STAT210 as you would expect. He is a great guy and is willing to assist you in order to succeed in the class. Don't complain, don't skimp on work or studying, and you'll be fine. Professor Lee doesn't take kindly to slackers or those who complain, and rightly so.
STAT 321 consists of 8 minutes of YouTube Video content produced by someone else in the department. Instructions are unclear and he consistently cancels office hours and won't answer any questions pertaining to projects OR conduct exam review from the study guide. Last year PhD student. Stay far, far away.
Not a great professor, but a very easy class. During COVID, he was the most disrespectful and laziest professor. He hardly responded to my emails and rarely emailed the class. When he emailed me he was disrespectful and never answered my questions. Do not rely on him. So long as you make sure not to miss any work and do well you will pass.
Professor lee is a great professor, he is undertsnadable and will accommodate as best he can to your needs. I found his class very easy, but I also showed up to class, attendance is not mandatory but it will increase your chances of doing better in the class.
He strictly reads off of a PowerPoint each class, even though they are available to the students. The quizzes were not hard, but the projects and exams were not the easiest. You can take information straight from the PowerPoint and still get answers wrong on tests and projects. His feedback is meager and he takes a long time to respond to emails.
This course should've been easy, but Lee was inaccessible and incompetent as a professor, often not responding to emails, canceling office hours within the first 2 weeks of the semester for an asynch class, and was unwilling to answer questions on projects, tests, etc., even when he was in the wrong. Only 3 people in our class of 24 got As.
I took this class in the summer. The Class average was an F. The test and quizzes are back to back so there's not much time to study. VCU stat teachers ( most of them) use the same lesson plans and assignments. They really stuff the lesson plan so its technically taught, but personally there wasn't enough time to actully learn the information.
I'm not done with Dr. Lee's class yet but I'm currently struggling. He provides us with lectures made by someone else and I'm assuming he makes his own tests. Obviously that's a recipe for disaster. I've done extremely poor on my exams because he grades your "fill in the blanks" as if he wants you to fail. So far he is the hardest prof I've had.
I would not recommend taking this professors class, it is extremely disorganized and not well put together.
One of those teachers that have no consideration of others, or for people who have struggles, and has no care for human error. He is one of those professors you wish was never hired as the have no actual semblance of real life, like we can't all dedicate our whole week to just one class and some people have jobs and other priorities.
I have never received so much stress from a course, not because of the course content, but because of the professor. This professor is completely uncaring and extremely inflexible for a course taken online. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TAKING THIS PROFESSOR.
Very disrespectful to his students, assignments not clear, very aggressive over email do not take him
worst professor I've ever had. he's very inconsiderate and is a super harsh grader. you basically have to teach yourself everything and it's so confusing and not well put together AT ALL. please save yourself and DO NOT take his course.
This class was extremely easy. He puts a replica of the test just with diff numbers. I never went to any lectures or looked at powerpoints for more than 10 min at a time and you can get 90+ on tests if u just go through those copies a few times. Projects were easy as well and our hw was the "quizzes" take 10-15 min each.
by far the worst experience ive ever had with a professor. lecture vids weren't even him it was some random lady, some questions on tests are worth 26 pts while others are only 4 so if you miss 1 youre ruined. He doesnt' respond to emails and has no empathy for students even if youre in the right. My class had to make a petition to be treated fair.
Avoid at all costs. I have never been graded so harshly on a test, and I failed multiple tests despite attending tutoring, TA help sessions, getting help from peers, and taking notes/attending online/in-person lectures. His email responses when asking for help are extremely vague and not helpful at all. He reads straight from the PowerPoints. 0/10.
Albert is by far the worst instructor I have taken for this course, I retook it a second time with him to make up for the C I got with another instructor, Super harsh grader, his tests are just dumb, he tries to save himself time in making them by cramming as much as he can into one question, you get it wrong too bad. His responses are not helpful.
Albert Lee was by far the worst instructor I've taken at Virginia commonwealth university. He's very unclear on tests, his feedback in not helpful, he has this thing where he would give a bunch of questions but only give 4 points for them then 1 huge question worth half the grade, so if you miss that then you basically already lost. just so bad.
I am not strong in math but this professor made it so much more difficult than it regularly is. His idea that being harsh is to prepare you for the real world is so condescending when youre reaching out for help with the course. Hes lacking any form of understanding or compassion and just seems power hungry. Hope he improves his method.
Smoked a cigarette during class, was not a great teacher.
Please do yourself a favor and do no take this professor if you have a hard time understanding math. He is a very sweet man but the way he teaches is awful. The workload is manageable with 7 tests, 25 quizzes, and a project at the end of the semester. If you are good at math, he wouldn't be a terrible choice.
All of the tests have practice tests you can look at and they are the same as the actual tests just with different numbers. He assigns HW problems, but they are not for a grade although he encourages you to do them. The tests are in person and quizzes are online and are really easy if you look through the PowerPoints. If you try, you will pass.
He provides multiple practice tests that are exactly like the actual tests. If you show up to the lectures, he says exactly what you need to write in order to get full credit on the tests. People complain he just goes through the powerpoint but... in a class where every problem is solved on the calculator there is no need for anything else.
He is a hard grader. make sure u go over ur exams so he isnt taking off points for the right things. Other than that, go to class, he goes over everything u need. Ppl just dont show up. He is a good professor. If ur not studying the practice problems in the textbook & practice tests, you will not get an A. He is ONLY a tough grader. Dr lee is cool.
Dude blows. He grades so harshly, and doesnt give clear feedback. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. Find a another section to do it with. This guy gets off on taking points without telling you why.
I did all the worksheets and homework, knew the content but still got a D. This teacher is such a harsh grader, doesn't even give partial credit and wants you to write EVERY single detail. Me and my friend worked on the final together and I got a 26 while my friend who took Stats with a different teacher got a 96 on it. HE DOES NOT CARE ABT YOU!
I really enjoyed class with Dr. Lee. He made concepts easy to understand and his expectations were always clear. Show up to EVERY lecture, participate, and do ALL practice problems in the textbook before each exam, and you will ace the class.
Average teacher. Reads straight from the textbook. Go to all lectures and do the recommended problems (reflects that tests)! He was not flexible about making appointments outside of office hours. He sometimes came off as rude. In addition, he disregards any extenuating circumstances or emergencies, regardless of proof, condition, or event.
The only reason I would recommend attending class is to see what he says not to do or should do on tests. Other than that, it's not worth it since the slideshows are literal textbook paragraphs and the lectures drone on. He's kind of rude, lowkey scary, and just wasn't a professor I felt like talking to at all. Not a good learning experience.
He takes no time to actually show how the problems should be done. All he does is read off the slides word for word, I honestly couldve just stayed in my room and taken this course.
Took a 6 week summer course. Doesn't record lectures himself, tests are multiple choice with 12+ options and worded in ways that are meant to trip you up. Hard to get in contact with outside of class. Only opened quizzes and tests from 6am to 8pm on the day it was due, I work 8-6 and he refused to open them sooner. Find a different professor.
He's really laid back and his material is easy to understand. The lectures are pretty interesting mostly from his humorous interjections, really not a great professor in traditional terms, but got the job done and made the class not as boring.
I loved Prof Al. The class is not difficult at all. Attend class and do a little homework and you're set for an A. He provides a bunch of study and practice materials so take advantage of that.
although he is kind, funny, and good at giving lectures -- i would advise against this course. there isn't much in depth explanation and he mainly reads off slides. on top of that, his grades his test is a very harsh manner and doesn't give much productive feedback.
Good teacher. Never takes attendance. Posts the slideshows on Canvas. DON'T need to buy the textbook; he goes over examples in class; I didn't use textbook at all. Very clear about assignments & due dates. Sometimes goes too fast when doing examples. You can use the calculator for most of the work the whole semester. Fair grader. I liked his class!
Professor Lee states exactly what he wants us to write on the tests, so if you attend the lectures and take notes then you'll get full points every time. The only reason people don't get an A is because they don't go to the lectures. He is kinda a harsh grader, but he literally says exactly what he wants. He's really great and a funny professor!
Dr. Lee was just eh. The lectures went too fast to actually learn anything for me and half the time I didn't understand what he was talking about. You WILL have to attend these classes even though attendance isn't mandatory, because otherwise you will fail. There is a test about every two weeks which was utterly painful.
Class was definitely tough. Weekly projects were doable but took time. Had video quizzes that also took up a lot of time. Lecture was not helpful in learning the material and I relied mostly on the youtube videos he posted. Both exams were tough. Overall a hard and time consuming class but at least you learn SAS and R which looks good on a resume.
The tests are hard, but if you go to class he will tell you exactly what he wants to see written on them. No homework and he doesn't take attendance. The textbook isn't really necessary unless you really need more practice problems than he provides. He's super funny and easy to ask clarifying questions to!
He reads off of very unorganized slides for lecture. Doesn't give productive feedback. I don't recommend this class. didn't even want to attend SI sessions with him because he just wasn't helpful. Paper exams every 2 weeks really stressful, and I couldn't even use materials like khan academy or tutors because he grades so heavily and specifically.
Horrible Professor. Did not put in the grades according to their weightage on canvas which threw off my final grade. Did not know how to operate zoom as a professor who is teaching one how to code. Many times students were left in the waiting room of Zoom without being let in. Was not helpful, did not want to answer questions and unapproachable.
Do not take him if you enjoy coding. He will ruin you gpa and your final grade. He is not helpful, he is rude and he does not want his students to get an A. WORST VCU PROFESSOR EVER! DO NOT TAKE HIM EVEN IF ITS THE LAST CLASS YOU WOULD EVER HAVE TO TAKE. LEARN SAS AND R through an external site, that would actually be so much more helpful.
By far one of the worst professors I have ever had to deal with. Please avoid this professor at all costs if you care to actually learn and your grade. Forced students to buy $70 textbook (written by him) just to use it 3 times. Very rude and test heavy. His online quizzes have wrong automatic answers and he won't care to give you the grade for it
Not sure why Prof Albert has such a low score on here as he's a really great & organized instructor. His directions are clear and he's willing to work with you as long as you're reasonable. The course consists of modules w lectures and a quiz per every 1-3 lectures and then 7 tests (not as bad as it seems). He even extended deadlines at our request
He is a Powerpoint reader, he does not get up & do any of the equations with you. He reads EVERYTHING from the Powerpoint. I can tell you exactly what he will do, He will sit on the desk, drink a bottle of coke/Starbucks coffee can & speed read from the Powerpoint & not explain anything while ending the day with wheeee do not take him for STAT 210
This professors grading relies solely on tests and quizzes and if you are not a good test taker you will most likely struggle in this class. I was putting in hours upon hours of studying to receive C's and D's on tests. Find another professor.
Super funny and entertaining. My first statistics class ever and he made it very digestible and straightforward. As long as you attend class and pay attention, you will do great. He tells you exactly what he wants on the tests which is very helpful.
