His lectures were clear and concise but his attitude to the students was rude and condescending. Tests were designed to fail the entire class. When I take calculus if he is the only one teaching it I will go to a different school. Very useless class!

I am telling you, do not take this professor because he is very confusing when he teaches and his tests are design for students to fail. I hated every single minute in his class. He didn't help me understand the lesson. THUMBS DOWN!

By far the worst teacher I have ever had. PLEASE avoid this class at all costs, go to another school if he is the only one teaching the class you need. You will not learn anything from him anyway!!!He insults and misleads to make himself feel better.
Hard class, but you know what this is calculus! I think folks that drop this guy should review their life. He's not helpful in terms of office-hours, but as long as you attend his lectures he won't fail.
As a man he's ok but as a teacher he's terrible and very comfusing. Have very low attitude towards his students. He feel satisfied to call names to the students in front of the class. he thinks he is so smart but don't give any knowledge to his students. his tests are comfusing and make you to fail.
For the first time I had to drop a class with a "W". I gave it a chance to the last minute and realized I was going to fail or get a D at the most with this teacher. He teaches horribly. He prides himself on making the student think. He doesnt do that. The book was much easier to understand. Worst.
He's kind of a jerk and his tests are difficult, but he did give extra credit points on every test afterwards. He usually gave us credit for the tricky ones even if we got them wrong. I'd take him again if I had to.
He kept U late till 10.15 & worst 11.00 PM! His class was so depressing. He talks about everthing but the material. U could just read the book and have a better understanding on the material. Yet, he wanted U to proof the material the way he liked it-like we can read his mind. Rating: (-)unlimited
Do not take this guy! I repeat , do not take him! He is rude, cals you stupid in class, do not explain well, always late, do not like questions, and I could go on for a while. His tests are hard becouse you cannot understand the material with his explonations. Take another teacher, don't suffer!

I had him in the summer. (don't take math in summer) Rec'd a "D". Repeated class with another instructor & rec'd a high "B". Everything stated from other students on this site is true! The absolute worst learning experience I've ever had.

I took this class 10 years ago and when I heard about this web site, I had to come back to tell you all that he drove a girl out of class one day in tears, referring to her statement as "senseless" and "nonsensical" and ridiculing her in front of the class. Don't take this jerk!!!
Can i say **** in here?.... cause he is one. His rudeness made the class dropped from 40 to 15 in less than a week. He lectures on everything EXCEPT whats in the text. His tests consists of Tricky problems that no one understands. And he laughs at you when you try to attempt to question him.

Tell Everyone you know about this website!! People have stated that this website has saved their lives. He is the absoulute worst intructor I've ever had in my life. Please warn everyone of this brutal instuctor!! Even if considered a "genius", he will make you feel like you need to be back in elementary school. I've witnessed first hand how demeaning and embarrasing he is to students. He inappropriately discusses religion in class. He doesn't believe in God. Hmm...maybe that's his issue.
For those who are seeking an A or B in Math 115 good luck w/this guy!He claims his tests are easy but they are very hard."Do as I say!" is his famous phrase that means do everything his syllabus states or you'll be sorry.He checks all your class notes,homework examples,and homework assignments & will deduct 10 points off your grade if not complete.

This guy has got to be the worst professor at valley. I used to like math before I took him. He claims that the examples in the book are "JUST LIKE THE TEST" haha that's so not true. this teacher was very confusing he wouldnt teach math, he would teach religion , so if you want to become a priest or have doubts about religion take him.
This is a disaster to the Valley College reputation. I think that Mr Natian should be supervised by the adminstration, so they could see for themselves how unprofessional he is. He spends most of the time on telling the students how they should behave in life, and impose his beliefs on the students. No wonder the drop out rate is high. Save us.
Natian is bored so he teaches concepts that interest him, and show-offs on his ability beyond the subject matter. He can't understand that many of his students don't master the concepts right away. At one point, he states, "...I guess you have to be born with it, when I was a student, I was predicting what the teacher was doing to do next".
This teacher was not helpful at all!!! He did not teach any of the material that was relevent to this course.His class was basically a self taught class.I found that it was a waste of time showing up to class due to him talking about science and english in a math 125 class.

Took him last summer, got a B (7 people at the final, only 4 or 5 passed out of the 40 original students). He was helpful, stayed after class to explain fractioning!! Lots of extra credit points, lots of talk about religion, test were fair (right out of book/notes). Prepare to study 10 hours a week and actually learn. TAKE NOTES! DON'T MISS CLASS!

Natian obviously knowing he f***ed up, apologized for making him cry for the remaining of the class, and promised not to make him cry again. so if you want to cry take him!
An absolutely horrible example of teaching. In my class 80% dropped his class because he didn't teach. Of the few that stayed, only a handful could say they were passing.

In the end, the only thing you will learn is his religious viewpoints. In the end only 2 students were left to take the final. One student left the class absolutely in tears because he is rude and degrading to the students. If you ask a questions, be prepared to give the answer yourself or face his insults.
GREAT TEACHER! Prof Natian has a very refreshing style of teaching intermediate algebra! Althou I got an A in my elementary algebra class taught by mr. Siever, I learned hardly anything in that class. When I took Mr Natian's class, for the first time I began to really dig math. I recommend him any day! But you've to work hard to get good grade.
Veers off subject too much and too often that he is not able to cover the lecture at hand. He is also lazy in lecturing and in creating exams. He doesn't follow a syllabouse because he does prepare one. His exams are not relevant to his lectures and are not at a level consistant with that of the class. He boasts about his 2 Masters, pls get a PhD.

Albert is soooo sweet and very helpful... he's clear on everything he teaches and helps you with any questions you may have. The only homework he gives is to study what we have gone over in class and lets us leave early most days. His tests are clear and come straight from the textbook. TAKE HIM HE'S GREAT!
In the long run he's a great teacher. Intimidating at first, and he does sometimes make you feel stupid for asking questions. Keep trying, show you are doing your best and he'll come around. He knows his stuff and uses the textbook, which helped. I recommend him.

I really don't know how anyone could possibly tolerate this man's style of teaching. He's horrible at what he does, and talks about things in class off subject that you really dont care about. Awful teacher don't take him!
Natian is extremely intelligent, but unfortunately that disconnects him from most students. You need to be extremely motivated to pass his class. Take good notes, study the book examples, and practice the exercises where you can (they help significantly). Be careful when you ask him questions. His use and understanding of English is very literal.

I can't believe Natian is still teaching. Took his class 20 years ago, started with 40 students?, and only 3 passed. I did enjoy debates with him in the hallways. I dropped within 4 weeks, took Math with Paget. I am amazed that LAVC still tolerates his efforts to humiliate and fail as many students as possible. He does have issues like most of us.
I'd place Mr. Natian in the top 5 percent of all professors at Valley College and elsewhere (I've taken courses elsewhere, like Glendale College, etc.). He is very nice and helpful to his students (despite what other people's ill will toward him).

This guy has the amazing ability of lecturing for 2 hours without making any sense. He teaches calculus "his way". On top of all the book was last updated in 1991! His famous quote: "Why can't you get it the first time and move on?" Nothing more to say...
Condescending to students with lesser graso of the English language. Actually condescending to everyone...had an argument with a student in the hallway outside of the classroom during finals, with both sides using profanity. Very distracting and unprofessional. The teacher needs to take the higher road! I do not recommend this teacher AT ALL!
Don't take him! No one is making up anything about him. It is all true. With our class he would tell us to "learn" (memories) the examples in the book. Thats all that would be on the test. Really bad teacher. Don't understand why he is still a teacher. LAVC really needs to look into him.

He's a tough teacher. You can't ask him questions without being ridiculed or told that you should know this by now. You can't learn if you can't ask your teacher questions. He seems like you're bothering him by asking questions.

Natian is an interesting teacher. He knows what he's talking about, and I find his particular brand of very blunt commentary kind of funny. As a teacher however, it's fairly unacceptable to be that degrading. I was one of the maybe 10 out or original 40-some students to finish the course, ending up with a D. You CAN pass, but it's a rough ride.

He is demeaning to the students, will only allow you to ask certain questions(about a specific question in the book only, or he rambles for 15 mins about why that was a stupid question! I stayed after class to ask for help, his response was "this math must be beyond you", then said to forget about my major!
I took him during summer regardless comments I have seen here. I was shocked on how easy he was. Just do not use your phone while you're in class or you will get kicked out, no discussions. He gives a LOT of extra questions in test, so you can miss a couple of questions and still get a perfect score. My advice: Do not break his rules, and STUDY!
Show up and do the work, and you'll do well. Test questions are exactly from the homework - so no surprises (couldn't be any easier *IF* you've dont the h.w.). Generous extra credit on tests. Mr. N. is very intelligent, loves math, and likes to speak to conceptual math problems, which will have nothing to do with your class. Just grin and bear it.

Teacher is demeaning to students, am currently taking him. On the test scantron I erased an answer and put down the right answer, I showed it to him and he refused to change my test grade from a B to A because he argued that other students might cheat lthat way, even though he admitted I was right. Bad teacher needs 2 get fired!
He is a very demanding teacher. He explains everything very well and all the test problems come from the homework. HW is not mandatory but if you dont do it do not expect to do well on the tests. Basically not an easy class but if you study, do the HW and meet with the professor during office hrs you will do fine.
i do not recommend this teacher, i am very interested in math but his inability to teach and answer questions made it a very tough semester for me. i would have to say he is probably the worst math teacher i ever had the misfortune to have. if you decide to take him or have no choice good luck my friends.
An extremely brilliant man, but with all geniuses come some minor hangups. I don't think Natian realizes sometimes his tone of voice might come off as offensive, but it can be nonetheless. Natian is good at what he does, and passionate too. You have to work for your grade though but if you study hard and show up, you will do fine!

Pros: Clear instructor and his methods are clear and easy to understand. HW is not required but highly recommended.Con: Grade is based on 2 tests, you can't fail either one or your doomed. As long as you have a good grasp of prerequisites, study the material-Memorize!-study daily or weekly, follow his rules, and do well on the tests you'll be fine.
Good Teacher. Very clear and easy explanations. Also very methodical. He can be very harsh (maybe without noticing) with dumb questions, better think before you ask. Regular grading system (4 tests and a final). He has an odd sense of humor and sometimes starts to ramble about unnecessary topics.
Even though Prof. Natian can be very disrespectful and is definitely prejudiced against non-native speakers, I respect him as a professor. He knows what he's talking about and the class was easy.
He is HORRIBLE!!! Do not for any reason take his class. Many students complained about him. Students created a tutoring session to help each other because the teacher was no help at all. All he did was put students down. You go to class to learn not to be degraded. People like him should not be teaching.
Great professor!! this class is for those who came for getting more knowledge. If your not talented in math, just do your HW and visit him during his office hours. He is very passionate about his subject he tries to give you as much as you can understand. After this class I feel more competitive.

Professor was unhelpful. Office hours are 15min after lecture then he has to leave.Got mad at me for using (x) to multiply rather than a dot. Quizzes you every day of class, worth 20% of grade. It is true professor Natian manages material that could be considered harder than the content in the book, but the insight into calculus you get from this professor is excellent. In the midterm and final, which are fair, you shall not encounter any single problem you had not seen before in the class. Just put effort into it, and enjoy the class.
Don't take his classes if math is not your strong suit. He doesn't assign any homework and assumes everyone has the discipline to be studying on their own. He's real passionate about teaching but almost too much. He'll talk your ears off and end up not covering everything. If you already know it all or you're good at math, his class is perfect.
For most of the students, this class wasn't easy. Overall, it wasn't that hard. Tests were from class exercises and he was giving enough extra credit to get a higher grade. You need to take notes, they are in exams. The same ones.

Very challenging class. You must study! Don't take in summer school if you don't have time to study. Tests are unforgiving but he did offer extra credit problems. As less serious students get weeded, he gets more helpful. Don't use your phone at all! He knows his stuff but pretty eccentric, at times abrasive. You will learn a lot if you can hang.
If you are bad at math do not take this professor! Actually don't take him at all! He is rude and doesn't allow you to even speak or ask him anything.. he will humiliate you and make you feel stupid.. Tests are hard and he's a tough grader.. Good luck!
Prof. Natian is a tough teacher, but very fair. if you want to learn real math, take him. he explains much better than other teachers i have had in the past. imo he is the best. he cares for his students and wants to see all of them succeed. gives lots of extra credit tests, but is very strict against cheating.
Awesome!! I would have never passed if it wouldn't have been for him. He gives tons of extra credit and is very lenient when grading tests. Attendance is not mandatory but helps if you want to learn. Do your homework, study, show that you are trying and you'll be fine.

Outgoing professor who cares about his students. He is the easiest math professor in the math department who lets you use your notes for the test. He gives multiple choice test except for the midterm and final. Let's you listen to music while taking the test. What else can I say, best math professor overall ! Easy A

I give a lot of respect to this man, he's a former Navy SEAL who is ironically really nice. Clarity is how I can describe this professor. He does shortcuts unlike other teachers who do everything the long way. He likes when students ask questions and he takes his time. Easy class and easy guy to get along with.

He's intimidating because of his military background but he's really cool. He is demanding if you don't do good on his test which are really easy because he writes down some of the problems that are gonna be on the test. He is really clear in his lectures. No homeworks, studying is up to you.
I took him before and he was horrible. He would degrade students for their lack of intelligence but now he changed. He is really nice and funny as well. His lectures are amazing and clear, he doesn't challenge your IQ unlike other professors(Castillo). He can either drop or let u retake tests. I think he went through teaching rehab lol

I just done his summer section, I am for first time in my life completely irritated and exacted about math and school and everything .
Took his 5-week course this summer and it was a lot of material to take in, but he is a good professor. He's clear and will explain if you do not understand. Homework was easy points. Gives extra credit. Lectures can go off subject a lot. Tests consist of 14-20 questions from notes and the book.
I am naturally good at math and this professor made me hate it. His lectures go completely off topic. When students asked questions, rather than just answer, he would belittle them asking why they asked the question in the first place. He did not create a positive learning environment. I would not recommend this professor to anyone.
Mr. Natian is a fantastic professor. He describes concepts by looking at the different concepts that surround them and while it might seem like he's going off topic, the end result is a deeper level of understanding. He's very deliberate in his teaching and definitely appreciates neatness. It isn't tough to get an A if you work hard and take notes.

Class was interesting, he does his best to keep the class' attention. He goes off topic a lot. Three tests and a final and three homeworks, drops the lowest grade for each. Tests are combinations of the homework and the final is all the tests combined so remember/write down the questions and you will do fine.
Good professor, he will answer all your questions and you will have the opportunity to get good grades by doing all your homework and he is nice, he explain everything until you learn it.

Professor Natian is an intelligent man, but not a great teacher. No one at the math lab knew how to do the problems that he assigns, but Nick who is the math lab coordinator even then it took him 35min with one problem. He lectures are not clear, and he is always making mistakes when working on a problem, which shows how unprepared he comes 2 class
Professor Natian loves to hear himself speak more than he like to listen to his students. The cool thing about his class is he drops the lowest test/HW and his exams are multiple choice. He will teach you "his way" of doing a problem and apply his philosophical views to the problem. The book will teach you the opposite. Follow the BOOK.
I am an A student at valley so far. I haven't taken math in yeeeaarrrrsss and getting back into it can be tough for most. This teacher has no respect for individual learning styles and is fuzzy and uncomfortable to talk to about what it is you need help with. He runs circles around people who are ready and willing to learn, and cracks himself up
Bad teacher. He will tell about degrees he got in Math and Physics which, unfortunately, didn't make him an easy going professor. He will try his best to look like this, but vainly. For some reason he thinks all his students are idiots, but they are not there to increase his self-esteem.. He's arrogant, though diffident. Worst experience so far.

I took him for Calc 1 in the fall semester. His classes were simply a drag. He tends to go off on a tangent during most lectures. If you want to ask any questions, be ready to hear a long philosophical answer. He is a very smart person, but not a good teacher.
Honestly one of the hardest classes ever. Unless you're extremely good at math, you'll only be able to pass if you memorize. 3 tests, 3 hw assignments, and a final. Drops lowest hw and test grade. One extra credit assignment. Curved tests, but still really hard.
To me, I think there is nothing wrong with this professor. I think he's a great professor. Even though I'm not a math major, I easily got an A by studying for all the exams and completing all the homework assignments. Just do all the homework and do well in the exams. Get help from tutoring, though.

Its just test. That is literally the only thing that will make your grade go up or down, and there's only three. Also tons of homework for 10 points? nah. He goes over the examples that will be on the test, once I took the test, half of the problems I studied for aren't there.

Professor Natian is a hard person to understand. During his lectures he drifts off to talk about life and other subjects nowhere near related to math. He hardly talks about math; therefore, hard to understand the subject. So much homework, online and copying all examples in the complete textbook. His tests are confusing.

He does not follow the book content he provides and his tests are too harder than the reviews he gives you. Teaches irrelevant material.
If a student strongly believes a teacher is not being optimal at teaching or being approachable when you have a question-students can make a complaint to academic affairs. Academic affairs then does a small investigation and informs the instructor that theyre not doing a good job teaching. Simple.
Do not take his class if you are not good at math. He gets off topic real quick and he expects you to understand his lectures right away. He is also not approachable. He is very math savvy, but has poor teaching skills.
Natian is a good guy, he cares about his students but sometimes he does not realize how heavy his lectures are and how much homework he gives. Honestly, if you don't go home every day and study by yourself for at least a couple of hours using your own material you won't pass the class.
As a teacher, he is ok, but speaks too much about unnecessary things, gives extra credits on the exam, be present always, otherwise you will not solve the problems on the exam.
Albert Natian is the paradigm for that saying that goes "just because someone is smart, doesn't mean they can teach." He is a genius, but if you take his class you can expect half the lecture time to be spent on material that doesn't pertain to your class. Once went on a 45 minute rant about fish and genders. Extremely difficult questions too.
The best teacher I have ever had; he is a teacher you can relay learn from. He cares for his students and makes sure every student learns as much as possible. His review sessions before exams make students feel more confident about possible exam material.

I could not find the right tags to explain my experience this spring. Way before the COVID-19 pandemic, I knew I would drop his class and am not the kind to give up! I dropped the class half way through the semester but get this, we were no more than 3 chapters in, no quizzes done and strictly no asking qtns! Wasted time on philosophies each time!!

I took him a long time ago,he is a horrible professor. I loved mathematics,I got for Maths 115 grade A, I took him his classes was a nightmare and boring, he is hating students and his job too. I was never absent from his class and all test, but and up with grade F. After 6 years, I took this class and got A.
First, I didn't like attending Professor Natian's lectures. After Covid hit, though, & we were forced to go online, it made me realize how much he cares about his students. He always made sure to stop the lecture & to explain any material that seemed confusing, postponed the final exam & midterm, postponed HW until the end & made HW 60% of grade.

Prof. Natian comes off strong with clear class expectations, however, he provides guidance and time to answer any questions you may have, alongside any homework related algebraic problems. Class participation is essential if you expect to pass this course. He is definitely a Philosophy Geek. At the end of the day, he wants to help you understand.
Mr Natian Made it very clear of what we would be doing on our tests. He didn't give anything away though. Many of the students were not understanding his lectures, and/or his dry humor. He has a different method to algebra and to teaching, so if you are not ready to participate and ask questions even when you're scared, be accepting of your grade.
He is a great teacher! Be ready for some fun when it comes to philosophy! Also, his methods are different from the textbooks, but he only does that to make sure that 1) you are paying attention in class and 2) you are understanding in class
He only graded based on a few assignments. My Open Math, 1 homework assignment (which was turned into extra credit because most people couldnt turn it in), the midterm (which he decided to erase from our scores), and the final. In total, we were graded at 50% MOM, 40% Final Exam, and 10% free! All you need to do: pay attention and forget the drama.

Though a TON of the posts here seem very scary and negative, he actually can be very helpful! He can sometimes go overboard, but he really does want to help. If you take some time after class to talk with him, and really try not to get angry, youll definitely pass. I passed with an A only because I stayed positive, did all my homework and tried!
Some people here are being really mean. He isn't that bad! Try to make a group chat to talk with the other students in class. You can do this by making a discussion on canvas to use something like discord to study. He doesn't use canvas by the way. Try to tutor with him, and don't debate. Keep calm and get past the other negative students!
He is willing to help after class, follow all of the course material, and try to follow his techniques. He will walk you through all of the questions you have, but remember to use his methods so that you can pass!

Took Linear Algebra with him before COVID hit. This guy spends his time bragging about his 5 failed attempts at a PhD. He is so rude! He once said to me that girls can't do math because they don't play sports. I found it sexist and unprofessional, decided to drop his class. TAKE SOMEONE ELSE!!!!

He assigns ALOT hw and then goes over 1 problem for 40 minutes, then talks about anything but calculus. Don't take him! He is the worst teacher I ever had. During the epidemic, I attended an online class, so I'm not sure how he lectures in a traditional classroom. You are on your own in the online class. You watch the lesson videos and work through them at your own pace. Professor Natian does not teach the class; instead, he serves as a tutor for any questions you may have.
Avoid his class as much as you can. He doesnt trac he calc, he teaches the philosophy behind a problem which is unnecessary. He creates his own exam questions which arent even regular calc based. So you will be stuck with learning nonsense. He comments rude things about his students. Gives a lot of homework which doesnt prepare for exams.
If you are comfortable with math this is the class for you. During lectures, he will give you the option to ask about the homework. If there are no questions you are told to work on OpenMath on your own. I mainly learned through youtube videos and the textbook. I wouldn't recommend if you are someone who needs a lot of extra help. Quiz HEAVY!!
I took his calc one course and it was really straightforward. You are to do the myopenmath and his lectures are amazing. He does go off topic a bunch talking about philosophy and whatnot but he teaches all the topics excellently and his class really isn't that hard. It's 80% homework with 10% being the midterm, and the other 10% is the final exam
Prof. Natian works with MyOpenMath which I fin very helpful. Very straight forward class, do the work and you'll get a decent grade. The only reason why I would not take him again is because he likes to mess with students grades for the most stupid reasons. He doesn't give af when it comes to ruin someone's grades up and he is always unapologetic.

This guy is like really funny and when he snaps at other people it's hilarious, other than that tho is he pretty tough and expects you to do everything right. Very easy class that is 80% online HW (multiple tries+videos) that is all open from day 1. Other 20% is divided by Midterm and Final which are easy PDFs he sends out a week early (detailed instructions or 0). Lectures aren't really lectures but complex problems and philosophy tangents. Prof Natian gives clear instructions and always encourages people to ask for help if needed. Most of your grade is relied on hw which is 80% of your grade and midterm/final is 10%. He gives his students 2 weeks to complete the hw before its due. He informs everything on the first day of his class so do not miss! (FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS CORRECTLY!!!!)

This class was very simple, he gives instructions and expects ppl to follow them. Majority of your grade is depended on hw and 10% for midterm and final. This class is easy to pass (as long as you complete the hw).

Natian is a very wholesome professor with lots of enthusiasm for math! Grading criteria is simple and direct, homework is 100% done through MyOpenMath and is automatically graded. You get several chances to re-attempt homework questions if your initial entry was wrong. Homework is 80% of the course grade so very easy to do well. You'll love him fs!
This is an amazing professor! 80 Percent of your grade is online homework. super easy. each homework problem has its own video explaining how to do it. So instant B+ if you give minimal effort. 10 percent midterm. 10 percent Final. Easy grading. light work. attendance mandatory. 100% reccomend.
Take him for the easiest A of your life. 80% of your grade is hw and its all online with clear video instructions on how to do each problem. Has very specific instructions for turning in midterms and gets upset if theres even a shadow or wrinkle on your paper but dont let that scare you. Best professor ever. As long as you do all the homework (which is really easy, just watch the videos provided for EACH homework questions and replicate the steps exactly) you are guaranteed a B minumum in this class. Don't take if you want / need to learn material. My open math homework weighs most of grade. Tests are 20% and only two. My open math is easy and doable with videos for help. He doesn't round and doesn't give exceptions for late work, so complete everything on time and you'll earn an A. He's kind of kooky.
I think the professor really cares. He is likely neurodivergent. Regardless, he does not communicate like other professors. If you take this class be sure to follow and read directions for tests carefully and completely. Finish homework on time, and try to get a bit ahead of it at the beginning of the course.
Overall I would say this is an excellent class to take, especially if you really want to pass. Homework is easy to get through with the MyOpenMath. He is a little neurodivergent, and very philosophical, so tends to go on tangents when on lecture. But encouraging to those who put the effort to learn the math.
Let this be the one comment that you read before you decide to take him. If you really want to learn calc, don't take him. 20% of your grade is through 2 exams and 80% of your grade is through easy online hw. Be aware that he yells for no reason from time to time, but you get used to it. Take this class if you want an easy A.
Yeah his rating is low, but honestly the easiest A of my life. He will not give extension on the exams and is really strict on the format that you submit them to him. The exams are take home style so you have like a week to finish them. His lectures weren't too in-depth and he relies on MyOpenMath videos to teach and help students out. Tip, use AI.
He's passionate but very intense. He often rebuts questions before answering, which is frustrating. His three-hour Zooms involve long math tangents or periods of silence, and his push for "self-sufficiency" can be harsh—I even saw a student cry. Luckily, MyOpenMath is an easy A, and he gives a month for exams, making the grade worth the stress.
