Taught a great class. Wish he had more classes at normal times.
Very funny. Easy to listen to and makes things interesting. Make sure you study well for the tests tho...and visit his website.

Very good teacher...as long as you go to class and do they study guide he gives out you will do fine in his class.
loved the guy; take any class he teaches
Amazing professor, he really knows his stuff and taches it well. He provides extra examples of art they he personally has experienced, which adds to his knowledge. He provides a whole website deticated to help you study, trust me hes great!
He's easy for Art His 1&2, but I warn, DO NOT take him for an upper level if you aren't an art/art history major. Run! Take Medicus, ANYONE ELSE! *VERY* boring, akward pauses after every other sentence. NOT helpful outside class, takes back extra credit.
Best teacher I have had at Kent.
Very good professor, one of the best I've had. Knows the information, funny, relatable, just an all around good guy.
Interesting to listen to. Tough grading on papers.
Fun teacher, decent class, moderate to hard class
Excellent
Reischuck knows what he's talking about and keeps up to date. He can give you the inside scope on some of artwork that you wouldn't get from other professors. Advice: Read through all his study guides and links because he will throw one or two question from there just to see if you read it.
Very funny and nice man. Actually knew what he was talking about. Kept his lectures flowing and interesting. TIP: make sure you read the study guide and attend class and you should pull an 'A' easily. And he hates the Yankees :-)
Looks like Josh Groban, hard for non-history majors
Reischuck is by far the best Prof I've had at Kent. I love his teaching style and he really knows his stuff. He's awesome and makes the class time fly.
I transferred from KSU, and Reischuck's classes are some of the few great memories I took w/me. Knows his stuff, very entertaining in lecture. Had him for Art Hist. and Honors Art Hist. Latter was def. more challenging, but working hard paid off for my grade and personal satisfaction.

One of the Best Classes!

definitely knows his stuff. one of the best teachers i've had. very entertaining. study! you will be fine if you do! i think he looks like joey ramone rather than josh groban...
great teacher...very funny and kept it as interesting as he could!
Awesome teacher, great sense of humor, made me more interested in art. :-)
Great class. But you have to go to class everyday, keep up with the readings, and start studying well in advance in order to do well. His lectures are entertaining and he really knows what he's talking about and willing to help.
Make note cards for his exams, they really help.
he amazing go to class and you'll learn without even realizing it
Good Professor. Lectures are interesting and easy to take notes from. You have to attend class regularly to get a good grade in this class.
Take the slide guide and check every slide he shows, and star slides that are obviously going to be on the test. I don't understand how people can get good grades missing his class. If you go, you're set. If you skip often, you're sunk.
biggest advice --GO TO CLASS...if you don't you mine as well not even sign up...going to class makes his test that much easier...although you HAVE TO STUDY...his test questions seem to be nit-picky, very detailed and non-obvious questions..make sure to check the links..he uses them on the tests! all in all not a bad class but DON'T SKIP!
Awesome teacher. Definitely take this class. Pretty easy for the most part, but there is some memorization of works of art that could be tricky. Class is lecture accompanied by a power point. He brings in a lot of his own pictures. Very funny.
Awesome teacher, really easy class if you show up and have some memorization skills. If not just take some aderol and you'll memorize 80 slides in 20 minutes.
Very cool guy who really knows what he's talking about from first-hand experiences. This is a great honors course to take because the tests are easy (as long as you go to class!!) and he is pretty lenient on the writing requirement. He provides useful online tools for studying too. Very cool dude!!
Great instructor. Too bad he doesn't teach other classes as well!! Go to class, study, and take notes. He also has online stuff for further knowledge. Pretty darn original person.
very amusing instructor. brings in lots of his own pics from various sites. tests are a bit difficult, although the class doesn't seem hard at all.
Awesome prof! You have to put in a bit of effort, nothing too painful though. I wish he taught more classes.
Really great teacher. The class is interesting and it's definitely in your best interest to go to every one. He keeps you engaged in the subject and has a sense of humor. Tests don't seem too hard but not a lot of people do well on them. He's not very nice if you go to him one on one, though. But I recommend taking him!
If you have to take art history, take it with him, he's definitely the most interesting of the professors. You don't have to go to every single class, but just like any art history class it does help quite a bit to be there.
Really great teacher. The class is interesting and it's definitely in your best interest to go to every one. He keeps you engaged in the subject and has a sense of humor. Tests don't seem too hard but not a lot of people do well on them. He's not very nice if you go to him one on one, though. But I recommend taking him!
****, unclear on what to study, cocky. for some reason art history I with him is fine.. however, art history II is a completely different story.
Awesome and fun teacher! Has a great sense of humour...as a postsecondary student her made my college experience feel at home! Class was exciting and material interesting. He even gave a lot of extra credit and allowed curves on his tests
Love his teaching style- he keeps things interesting and very funny. I also just loved the class in general and I thought that his lectures were entertaining and helped me learn a lot.
Hard, but explains what he wants. Make flashcards for the images, it really helps. Fun class, you are quickly behind when you skip
He killed art history for me. A horrible, cocky man who plays favorites with students and looks down on others. He makes you write a 3 page essay on the night before the test, while studying 136 images, terms and then puts another essay on the exam. Overall, NOT WORTH THE TIME. I changed my major after his class.
He was very interested in the subject he taught and very passionate about it. To survive i made lots and lots of notecards, there is lots of memorizing involved and at times can be tedious, but i learned a lot.
I love this professor! He's VERY fair. Just go to class and memorize your slides!
VERY VERY VERY hard exams, interesting class, never fell asleep in this one. Learn your slides long before the exam and keep studying them up until the night before. Use links page thoroughly. I would recommend the class to anyone who is willing to give the time to study for his exams!!
I love this teacher. He was funny, knew what he was talking about, and kept it interesting so that people weren't napping during class. Study flashcards/ links/ vocab more than the night before (tests can be difficult). Don't skip, can get very far behind.
His lectures were clear as were his expectations for the tests. He posted everything that the test was on, with the exception of the slide id's. If you attended class regularly, took notes, and studied the tests were actually fairly easy. He also added humor to his lectures which was a good for such a long class.
Awesome, easy to understand, and funny. best teacher I've had so far.
I really enjoyed Reischuck's class. He has a great sense of humour and his stories are entertaining. I also love the fact he has his own webpage for the course. It makes life SO much easier than trying to do everything through Vista. Overall it was a great expirience and I look forward to taking another class with him :)
Very hard class, especially for a freshman student who didn't need to study in high school. Use flash cards, review your notes like seven times and look at the links online. I liked how he made fun of the artists.
You will have to study slides, notes and links on his Web page. There are no papers. Your grade is based on three exams and a final. It's not hard, but you need to go to class. He doesn't give extra credit. I thought he made the class interesting but was unapproachable and a little condescending.
GREAT TEACHER! very funny, at least i thought so. he even mentioned arrested development characters in the test question answer options! he made me love art history even more. the best advice i can give is go to class and take good notes. I studied the day before and still got A's and B's. He made class very interesting and was never too serious!
I took him for Early Modern and he was FANTASTIC! He really knows his stuff and keeps things very entertaining. He is probably the most intelligent and informed professors in the art department. Go to class, pay attention and you will probably end up with at least a B. Tests are slide IDs, short answer, and essay.
I'm an art history minor and I've never taken an art history course with anyone else. He's just too good! Fun, intelligent, compelling, interesting, and has seen most of the pieces he teaches.
Had him for Honors Art History 1 and 2 and I greatly disliked him for both. I thought he was extremely cocky and didn't care to hear what anyone thought even when he asked a question. He also inferred that he thought I plagiarized one of my papers because I did a lot better on the research paper than the short 3 page papers.
Tests get progressively easier as you understand the format. He keeps a dry subject decently enjoyable. I would take his class again. Graded essays fairly I feel.
Incredible professor, it's as if I have Robert Langdon for a professor... only what he tells you is useful... and true. He does tell you rumors of the art world but he clarifies that they are rumors. All in all take the class.
ARTH 2. I'm a tough rater, but man - he is good! He can be cocky, but he keeps things interesting and fun and relates material to modern culture to keep you engaged. You can tell he ENJOYS teaching! I was thoroughly surprised at how easy it was. BE SURE TO GO OVER NOTES, PERIODS, AND "LINKS", go to class, and you'll do fabulous!
Loves to teach, pretty nice and knows his material backwards and forwards. His grading is pretty rough and at times inconsistent with what he asks of you. He definitely has favorites, so participate and sit in the front. Tests can be tricky and there's A LOT of material. All around nice guy but not my favorite professor.
Had him for art history 1 and 2. His lectures are interesting, he always relates things to modern time to keep things interesting. The tests are easy if you study the links, study guide, and make good flash cards. You have to study, but it will pay off. Take his class, he's funny and you'll learn a lot
He does his best to keep art history relevant for those who don't care much. BUT, with him it takes more to earn an A than it does with other art history professors, but I was okay with it because I LOVED the way he went about teaching. I had an A until I blew off the final exam...so don't let that happen to you. Not the easiest A, or the hardest.
best teacher EVER
He was one of my favorite teachers. Such a funny guy (in a kinda weird way). He made learning about ancient civilizations fun and interesting. I had him for honors Art History 1, and it actually wasn't too bad - if you use his study guide and make flash cards for the slide ids, you'll do fine.
I had never taken anything on the course before this semester, but I was interested in the subject. The first day of class I thought I was going to love him as a teacher. I was SO wrong. He is a total art snob, and expects you to know things before he teaches them. Very rude and inconsiderate to outside circumstances as well.
Pretty funny. Used Monty Python clips in class.
AWESOME PROF! Do not take Art History with any other teacher. I dreaded going to Art History with other teachers, but he makes class fun and quite interesting. Incredible. :]
Very fun class, extremely helpful lectures and website. You will do very well in this class if you use the resources provided. However, if you don't attend the lectures or read the website, you will not do well.
He's a great teacher, and his class is very fun. He talks a lot, but he keeps it interesting. His powerpoints are great and he keeps the class flowing smoothly. The exams are challenging, but it is very possible to get an A in the class if you study enough. The best advice I can give is make note cards! They are incredibly helpful. Recommend this!
he was a nice guy and everything but the class was absolutely awful. I went to every class and studied and did all the work that was assigned but the test were impossible to get over a C. The questions were extremely difficult and you never knew exactly what was on the test. take the other teacher i hear shes more helpful
This guy is a terrible teacher. he is not helpful and talks down on you. I felt he was very rude in lecture. He just reads a power point for lecture and then expects us to learn most of the chapter on our own time. I have no idea what the university is paying him for.
Great teacher! Lectures were always interesting and I did not mind going to class. He is very helpful through email and always tries to accommodate students. Not super easy but I definitely learned a lot in this class and earned an A. He gives extra credit frequently, and for going to class.
He's a good professor! Art History 1 & 2 depend greatly on your TA. For Art History 1 I had a very helpful & easy TA. My TA for Art History 2 tried assigning her own hw and made me drop the course.
This professor rocks! He makes you want to go to class! His examples and powerpoints are memorable and the exams never have any tough questions. Learning the material is easy and getting the points needed to get an A just means doing the weekly assignments.
Had him for Early Modern and Dada. Requires A LOT of writing, so be wary if that is hard for you. Other than that I thought he was great. If you pay attention in class he gives you all the information you need to pass the exams. The lectures were fun and he always brought things into a modern perspective. If I had credits to spare would take more!
Personally, he was a horrible teacher. All he did was read off the slides. The exams are based off the lectures and asynchs sometimes have nothing to do with what you're learning that week. The quizzes are easy.Remember or write down when each thing is due and time. The gradebook is all over the place. You pretty much have to teach yourself.
He is a VERY nice guy. He loves what he is talking about and knows all about art history. He keeps you engaged the majority of the time and stays interactive. I thought I would hate this class but he has made it fun.
Loved this professor. He keeps his lectures upbeat and interesting, I always found myself laughing at his quirky sense of humor. Presents information clearly, but studying is essential to doing well on the tests. You definitely need the text books (I highly recommend the online version). The teaching assistants are also an awesome resource.
Loves what he does. Also makes jokes and they're pretty funny. Keeps lectures interesting!! Tests aren't so bad if you study. If it doesn't interest you I wouldn't take it. Weekly homework assignments that are easy ways to boost your grades. Extra credit opportunities.
I had him for Art Hist. 2. He's always joking during lectures which makes them seems shorter. Tests are hard if you aren't good at memorizing. You need to read the book to do well on the weekend chapter quizzes. He'll drop hints during the lecture about certain things he might ask on the exams which is nice.
He's fantastic. He makes references to current topics to keep lectures interesting, and gives trigger warnings when the material he's about to cover is violent. Cheery guy, but isn't a fan of technology in the classroom. I would 100% take him again if I had the chance.
One of the worst professors I have ever had. Talks down to students as if they are inferior, and pop quizzes are over content not gone over yet, so you are expected to remember every tiny little detail in the textbook of a span of 40+ pages of reading. Most stressful class I have ever taken and it was only taken to fill a Kent Core. Avoid him!
One of the easiest classes I have ever taken. If you care about art, you will enjoy this class, he loves talking about art and tries to connect it to the current day, using pop culture. He is funny, and the three total exams are pretty easy as long as you show up to class you will be fine. He gives extra credit for near perfect attendance.
Really knows what he is talking about and makes it as interesting as possible
I would definitely recommend this prof to anyone. His lectures are entertaining & he really tries to make everyone enjoy them. He will relate them to current day culture which really helps with the retention of all the information, which is a lot. I enjoyed getting up to attend this class T, Th, Fri and learned a lot from him. 10/10 would recommend
Amazing lecturer! He really knows his stuff. So many people struggled in this class but I got nothing but A's. Honestly if I had gotten a 0% on the final I still would have had a 96 in the class. Fail proof if you are a good student.
I absolutely HATED this class. It was so boring. If you dont read the chapters he assigns in the textbook, you will not pass the tests, and the amount of pages he makes you read each week is torturous. The only good thing about this class was my small group leader. Reischuck is the type to make jokes about his political stance WHICH IS SO ANNOYING.
There is a lot to read and lots of homework, if you dont do it you wont pass. His tests are pretty though since you need to memorize 4 chapters of artwork and vocab. If you do not need the class dont take it. But he is an amazing teacher, explains well. His powerpoints are online, but he explains it in a different way in class
Obviously cared about the subject and knew a lot about it. You have to actually apply effort if you want a good grade. A lot of points go into the pop quizzes he hands out, which you absolutely have to read the text to know. He'll pull details, not just main ideas. I feel like I learned a lot about the topic.
Albert was a great professor. The tests in this class however, were pretty challenging. If you don't read the 30 pages of homework he assigns, you're bound to fail the exams. Albert give tons of extra credit though! Go to every class because he totals your attendance at the end of the semester for extra credit. I raised my grade from a C to a A
Albert made my first semester here very stressful. He is very difficult. If you review for this tests, you'll be fine, but the problem with that is he gives so much readings and information that it is hard to take in. He expects you to memories over 70 paintings and know the artist and date but only ten appear on the test. Aggravating!
Prof. Reischuck requires a large amount of background information going into the course. I took this as a Kent Core class and I really regret it. His pop quizzes are almost impossible and he expects you to spend a minimum of 25 hours on the final paper which is rediculous.
Terrible professor
He expects way too much for a class that most people take to fulfill a core requirement.
Reischuck is an entertaining lecturer, and made Art History interesting. I liked him overall, however there is so much information to learn. By the end of the semester we had "lost lectures" we had to watch online in order to get all the information needed for the final. I wish it was condensed even more. I would take him again.
Prof Reischuck is a good professor. He is an entertaining lecturer (he likes including memes in lecture slides). It is definitely not an easy A. There is a homework assignment and a quiz due every week and the exams are difficult. However, there are many extra credit opportunities. You have to get the textbook either online or a paper version.
Wonderful lecturer . Very entertaining lecturer . Learned a lot in this class.
Professor Reischuck is man who is obviously passionate about art. however, his lectures are mundane, not to mention that he is a total jerk when it comes to asking questions. Anything you ask him he makes you feel stupid for not knowing the answer. I would not take him again because I really do not respect him.
I came into this class HATING history but the Prof. gave me a new found love for art history! He is very passionate about art and has literally been all over the world! He knows what he is talking about and I highly recommend taking his class. But show up to his lectures and sign up for the 3 times a week class so u can be a part of a small group!!
Very simple. First 3 classes are explaining the syllabus. He has a slide where he states that attendance is not mandatory. Buuuut, you can still get an A if you attend zero classes and get perfect scores on all exams and do the extra credit. I did this and got an A, so I wonder if he now has an asterisk on that slide or uses it as a scare tactic.
I loved this prof! He always has a stone cold look when you ask him questions, but he's highly educated and wants his students to pass. Always answers my emails with clear responses. Very clear on when things are due and how things should be done. Much more organized than past profs I have had. I look forward to his lectures!
If lectures, slideshows, and textbook reading is your style, then you'll be set! At first he seems like a pretty cold guy, but once you get into the course you can really tell he's a pro at what he does and enjoys it. No phones or laptops allowed in class you NEED to give the class your undivided attention or you will NOT pass, guaranteed!
The worst teacher I've ever had. His lectures are absolutely terrible. He ends up giving you random fun facts and stories than actually teaching. He sounds more like a bad tour guide than a teacher. You never know what to study for the tests, and the quizzes are just as bad. He does not allow laptops in class, but pro tip, hide in the back
The class has three main components. Show up to lecture, Show up to your small group TA lecture and Online assignments. Showing up to the lecture gives extra credit. TA lectures grades you for attendance. Online assignments answers are direct quotes from the book. Look over his silent movie slides at the end of the week to view for tests. Easy A
This guy. He teases on the first day that attendance is "mandatory," but that it's only 15% of your grade. So if you ace every test and do the extra credit, you can get an A without ever stepping foot in his class again. But he said it's never happened. So being in a hard major, I could live with a B. Just needed the course credit. Got an A :)
Super boring lectures, a lot of HW, and the tests a really hard because you have to memorize over 60 pieces of art for each one. The class is way too hard and expects too much mostly from people who are only taking the class to fill a core requirement.
He was a pretty good professor. He explained the material pretty well and you could tell he was really passionate about what he was teaching. The tests were a little difficult, but I also didnt put too much effort into this class because I'm not an art major.
I find Professor Reishuck to be a good professor. If you pay attention the class is pretty simple. I have to tell you tho the TA's are a blessing and can really make the class easier. He was enjoyable and is strict when it comes to technology but all you have to do is sit and pay attention in class for 50 minutes and you will be fine.
Hes kind of a cool dude, but his tests are very hard. Starting with learning around 75 paintings, where they are from, what year, and artist. Followed by an additional 30 multiple choice questions. The the next day you have class theres an essay portion thats 3 parts. So hes cool but its pretty hard.
This class was for sure a bit challenging. It is tricky at first until you find a way that helps you study. I would highly suggest making flashcards for this class because if you do not it will be very challenging.
Nice enough guy, but mumbles quite a bit during lectures, so I would recommend sitting in the front. I took this class to fill a Kent core, but honestly I feel like this class is a bit too difficult and intensive to take unless you have to take it for your major.
If you like art and history you'll like this class, but if you're taking it just for a core credit, it's unbelievably boring. The exams seem harder than they are.
Art History is not my major, but I am interested in it. That kept me motivated in the class. But, a few of my friends took it with me and had no interest in it at all. With no motivation it was hard for them to get good grades. Pay attention in lecture and small group and you should be fine.
Took a special topics class because I was interested in it- would NOT recommend unless youre looking to become an art historian. This class had more reading and writing than the two WIC I took this semester, and I found him to be cold and judgmental towards non-art majors.
I really enjoyed his lectures they were very information heavy yet he was able to make it fun and enjoyable to listen to. I believe that this approach made the information easier to remember.
I would NOT recommend Albert unless you are far left-winged. When Albert preached his political views during class, I initially just listened and didn't say anything. After a few weeks, I was annoyed with his political preaching so I approached him after class and asked him politely to stop the political comments. He dismissed me and refused.
It worked so well as an online course! I did have to read a lot for this class and watch a lot of lectures, but the lectures and combined reading really helped me to better understand art. You have 3 assignments every week on top of the lectures and reading, but those also helped me learn. Put in the work and you'll get the grade you deserve.
Very funny and nice. Exams were easy - part compare/contrast of two artworks and part multiple choice. Both of which were nonproctored/open note + open book. A lot of busy work (group activity, asynch and chapter quiz each week) but as long as you stayed on top of it you were fine. Really worked well as an online course.
I loved this class. It was very easy and went by very fast. He gives you asynchronous assignments and quizzes every single week so prepare for that. Hold that textbook and a Quizlet link close to your heart if art history isnt your jig. Also, beware a very dry yet somewhat acceptable humor from him. Cool peoples though.
Overall he is a okay teacher. There are 3 small quizzes you have to do each week. There not hard but they will take time. His lectures are very informative and they made me laugh(a lot of dad humor). Exams and tests are not proctored and there is a somewhat easy essay on every exam. The exam and essay are separate and they both take 60 minutes.
Im sure he is a nice guy but being a fully online student with a full time job and being told off cause you took an exam too early and didnt use all 60 of your minutes REALLY hurts.
This was by far the worst class I have ever taken at Kent (and I am a junior). Reischuck was very passive aggressive. This specific class I was all online, he would assign work on a Wednesday and and make it due at 9pm on a Thursday. I worked so hard in this class and received my first ever C in college, I recommend to find another professor.
Reischuck is a great professor. You can tell he's very passionate about art history. Tends to keep the class lighthearted with jokes. The homework is easy and structured. The exams are simple and nothing to stress about. Makes art history understandable.
Reischuck was caring & thoughtful, he gives a lot of xtr credit and his homework assignments are frequent but not too difficult and genuinely help you in the class (not just busywork). The tests aren't too hard but you 100% have to come to lectures and study before the exams.
Reischuck is the best professor I've had, mostly because he's so down to earth. There are lots of tedious weekly assignments but they aren't difficult. Lots of dad jokes during lectures but he is very clear and easily understood. He's silly, I like silly.
The lectures were not very useful, but were interesting to listen to, and helped clarify things from the textbook. The bulk of what I learned was from the once a week TA-taught small group classes, where they went over useful information for the essay portions of the tests. Regular lecture was more useful for the multiple choice. Overall 10/10
Never had a problem with him. He is very smart and he's funny. His class is a little work and you will have to study, but it is not impossible. You just have to be willing to listen, take notes, and do your homework.
i had him for 2 art history classes at once in the same semester (DONT DO THAT ITS A LOT OF WORK AT ONCE). but reischuck as a person is good, a bit condescending but i enjoyed his lectures. the inquizitives arent too difficult and his class is easy so long as you pay attention and come to class every day.
Took this class for credit. He depends a lot on his GA's for grading/attendance/rescheduling discrepancies. Pay attention in lecture, take notes, and read the textbook. There are a good amount of extra credit opportunities that are mostly attending guest lectures and writing a summary of it.
Great and enjoyable lectures, I found myself looking forward to his class. Despite it being a lecture-heavy course, he doesn't make it feel that way by his entertaining commentary. Feels like a stand-up education set or podcast, very conversational, never dull. Attendance helps and makes the chapters more memorable, but he posts online as well!
Reischuck's class can be a lot of work, but engaging with the material and using helpful tools like Unstuck ai can make it manageable. Attend lectures, take notes, and read the textbook to succeed.
Professor Reischuck is very funny, engaging, and knowledgeable but didn't interact much with students, since it was a larger lecture. There are a lot of assignments outside of class, but it is relatively simple. If you put any amount of effort in you should be able to pass easily. There are also plenty of extra credit opportunities.
I loved professor Reischuck! He is a super chill guy and a great professor. Althought attendance isn't mandatory, there are bonus points at the end of the semester if you have good attendance. Multiple choice exams are open note and online and the essay portion is really easy!
This lecture is so boring if you're taking it as a Kent core. I'm a nursing major and have no interest in art history, but had to take it as an elective. There are weekly assignments every tuesday and friday. There is a multiple choice exam and an essay exam. His TA grades most of the essays, I think. I was never interested or engaged in this class
He is very knowledgeable about the content of the class, but there is so much homework. You get about three weekly assignments, along with an "Asynch" on Fridays. For exams, there is a multiple-choice portion online, then an essay you have to write in class. For the essay, he projects two different artworks, and you have to follow the prompts.
Hes super fun hell pull up his own photography mid lecture point it out and then continue the lecture. he makes the lecture enjoyable.
Prof. Reischuck is a very lecture oriented professor and it is very easy to get lost during them. Grading the based on exams and itnquizitives, but he does offer multiple extra credit seminars (10 pts) and attendance extra credit (25 pts). His exams can be difficult if you do not go to lectures/ pay close attention to them, so be wary.
He gives out a lot of homework it's easy its more or so busy work. The exams are extremely easy it's open note and as long as you try you'll pass even if your not correct. He is a very supportive teacher and is really nice.
Lots and lots of lectures (up to 2-4 hours) but a good professor who loves art and has been in the art world for a while. All exams are multiple choice and timed comparative essays with two random pieces of art you are supposed to identify. lots of material for a summer course but probs manageable as a spring/fall course.
