This guy is a nice guy...about as fun as a tooth ache, grades his papers really strongly. But if you show up and try and hand in your work on time you will get a C.

this professor is easy. very boring, but explains everything and doesnt seem too strict. he has somewhat of a stuttering problem, maybe hes not into public speaking, but if u can get through all that the class shouldnt be hard

He gives you so much time to write paper and there is only 5 esays and the topics are easy. He is the best english teacher I ever had. So I recomend you to take him. He is very polite , he dosent give you any homework.

he lectures straight from the book, word for word, although very helpfull. like everyone said he is boring. i dnt know how many time i fell asleep in his class. he's a quiet guy, looks nervous when he lectures, but tough on grades. and yeah he knows what he's doing.

Hes a fair teacher, Rambles incessently about MLA! so be prepared to fall asleep! But he is able to start up some great discussions in class!i enjoyed myself! Alot of writing, but that must be why they call the class "Writing"... He is more lenient than most teachers, and is respectable of studants.

He is a good teacher, he gives go extra credit, and allows you to rewrite your papers, just show him that you care abt the class. Also, he gvs extra credit if you partisipate in cl discussions. Just mke sure u ask for help, he cares abt his students!!

All he wants from the students is a little participation. I talked to him one on one on a few occasions and his stutter disappears. He does read straight from the text, but most of the students weren't READING THE ASSIGNMENTS! this was their saving grace when he read aloud. He's not a bad teacher at all, just grades on a college level.

Mr. Vadon was a wonderful professor. The class was informative and there was always extra help. The most annoying thing was the students. They were disrespectful towards the professor and acted unintelligent. I would recommend the class but not the students.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. you will regret it just as i have. it is so boring and he is by far the toughest grader yet. this class will ruin your gpa. even though i did relatively good i highly recommend not to take this teacher! he is a nice guy but his niceness wont help your gpa so if you care about your grade, take another professor.

Vadon is an excellent prof. He is always available for help and is a terrific grader. He clearly points out any errors and makes suggestions. He may seem boring, but you will definitely be a better writer by the end of the semester. The people who dislike him are students who cannot understand a concept beyond a fourth grade level.

He is a very tough grader, but such an amazing professor! He explains the material very well and tells you exactly what you need to do. Gives a lot of feedback on rough drafts. No tests, just A LOT of essays. If writing does not come easy to you, you will have a hard time passing his class. Otherwise, he's a wonderful professor.

Great Professor grades hard, but it is for your benefit. He is always available for questions and suggestions, and will repeat lessons if grades don't reflect well... again for your benefit not his. If you follow his direction, you will succeed. He stutters but it appears to happen only when he is caught off gaurd by stupid Q's which occurs often.

Professor Vadon is the best teacher I have had at Bergen Community. Extremely helpful and very nice. He helped me with my research paper and provided individual tutoring. All I had to do is ask. He allowed us to write rough drafts before handing in final copies. Greatly improved my writing skills for WRT 201. Excellent prof. and strongly recommend.

I enjoyed Professor Vadons class, and recommend taking his course if you are interested in bettering your essay writing skills (which helps other classes). I dropped out of high school and obtained a GED at 15 and took this course after 8 years of no schooling, and received an A. He doesn't "hand out" A's, but it is achievable if you apply yourself

Professor Vadon is one of my favorite professors at BCC. Yes, his grading is tough but the remarks he provides are very helpful in gaining a better understanding on how to write properly. He wants you to succeed and it shows because he thoroughly grades our paper and marks our good points, as well as our mistakes. Excellent professor!

In terms of professors this guy is pretty good. He does kinda drone on about the same stuff in terms of things he's already talked about several times so I do find myself being kinda bored in terms of boredom. Other than that, I recommend taking him. Also, he says "in terms of" about 85 times per class. I counted. I find it amusing.

Prof. Vadon is a very tough grader. While he grades harsh, he also gives great and helpful feedback to help improve your skills as a writer. He is very relaxed, and does really care about the students becoming better writers. If you are struggling, let him know, he will assist you. The only reason I gave him 4 stars because he was hard to contact.

Professor Vadon gives excellent feedback on your assignments. It may seem like more work to do but really he is just getting you ready for WRT201. My first and last assignments look like they were written by completely different people. My writing and comprehension skills have improved significantly thanks to this professor. Take this class!!!!

Prof. Vadon is the best English teacher I have ever had. I never thought Id be able to write the way I do now. He is very understanding and will help you correct any errors in your writing. I was never the best writer but I honestly feel like my writing has improved after taking this course. Take this course and make sure prof. Vadon is your prof.

I took professor Vadon's writing 101 online class in the spring. Professor Vadon was by far one of the best professors that I have ever had. He gives very detailed feedback on all assignments and provides plenty of chances to fix the errors he pointed out to better the final grade. If you put in hard work, you will do well in his class.

Great teacher!! Although he is a tough grader, he is really helpful and def improved my writing skills, even just a little bit. Also be sure to participate in class discussions or there will be a lot of awkward silence. Very kind and understanding. Class lectures were honestly really interesting :) Homework amount is reasonable in my opinion

Professor Vadon is a good teacher that actually cares for his students and their success in the class. I will say that his in-class lectures are pretty boring so that's his main downfall. Outside of that I felt the papers weren't very difficult (coming from somebody who hates papers) and he gave good feedback for them. Overall, no big complaints.

He's really nice and tries to get you to participate. There were four essays and one research paper. Lectures will help you understand the readings, so try to participate. He always tells you what he's looking for, so look over his documents and past essays. Write outlines to help organize info and thoughts, and you should do well.
