Many teachers are good mathematicians, but don't know how to impart their knowledge.

His lectures are clear, Hes extremely helpful, and has a real passion for what he does. I passed with a B this semester. He needs to be more strict with how students turn in homework and test, so students can actually learn and deserve their grade. Homework does matter!!! Is a key to passing his class. Exams and Quizzes come from the homework!!! he makes the class easy with notes he sent to you by email or blackboard. He explain step by step, until you understand the problem. Most of his lectures and quizzes come from the book. This is my second semester with him and have pass with a A's.

Homework is the key to passing this class but he makes it very simple as he marks important information in the notes which is correlated with the homework.

Mr. Isassi provides his personal notes on blackboard which made it really easy for me to follow and allowed me to stay focused on the lecture quite easily making his class very simple and enjoyable I would definitely recommend Mr Isassi if you have trouble with math.

For me, he is subbing for my Cal 2 prof. He is the most real professor with you. He recognizes that we're just students trying to learn. If he senses confusion in the class from anyone, he'll pull you out of your shell and make you feel comfortable asking the question you want to ask. He will go over the same subject until you feel comfortable.

You have to work for your grade. Calculus is no walk in the park. Mr. Issasi made sure everyone understood what he was going over. Mr. Isassi took time out of his Sunday to help out students with their match problems. Even if you are not in his class he will help you. If he was teaching Calculus 2, for sure I would take him in a heartbeat.

Professor Isassi is the main reason I earned an "A" in Calculus 1. His Sunday numbers program is the best tutoring program for this single father of two, who is going back to school at the age of 38. His program is 100% free and through the College. Many will never understand how difficult it is to go back to school late, but Professor Isassi does.

Professor Isassi is carring and he bealives on what he does and becomes a great educator.

He is the best math professor I've had at EPCC. He is caring and goes out of his way to help you understand the material. He explains things until you get it. Only reason I got a C and not an A is because I didn't make an effort at the begining of the semester and got a 40 on the first exam but after that I asked for help and got B's and A's.

This professor Goes above and beyond and teaches you different ways of understanding the material. He takes his time and explain everything in detail and also takes his time of day to help understand than problem.

Mr.Isassi is a very loving and caring teacher, he posts videos and power points for the class to follow in case we don't understand the lecture and are shy to ask, and is available via email and text if we need help. He does requires 2hr of Online Tutoring every week and it counts as points to boost our grades.

If you have to take math 0302 I would 100% recommend Mr.Isassi. The lectures are very simple and the homework is easy and gives a lot of examples. The test are no longer than 25 questions and he gives more than enough time to finish.

I took Mr Isassi for percal, cal 1, and cal 2. He is a very dedicated professor, he provided notes of each section and went over them in class. Exams questions were easier than the homework. Exams are almost the same as the review and he goes over the exam review on Sunday numbers. Very admirable.

He is a great professor and is very helpful, he wants you to pass and offers a lot of ways that you can get help and can explain things to you until you understand, his grading is very heavy on the exams but they aren't hard as long as you focus and do the reviews you will pass the exams.

The tests are challenging but completely consistent with what he covers in lecture and what he emphasizes in class—no surprises. One thing to note: he requires you to show all your work on exams to earn full credit, so make sure you're comfortable writing out your steps thoroughly. Highly recommend!
