Dumbledore taught me many things...most of which had to do with life and little to do with the classroom. He taught me to believe in myself and that happiness can be found in even the darkest of times. Thank wizard god for this man!

He's a good teacher, always very helpful. He has bad taste in tutors, though (COUGHsnapeCOUGH), so arrange for tutors on your own or ask him to tutor you. Gives out candy for right answers.

He was AWESOME!! But it was so sad when he died. He put me in his will though, which is also AWESOME. And he had good candy in his office.

Always gives help to his students, whether or not he's in during office hours. Which is good, because he's rarely in office hours...my classmate could always find him though, knowing the password and whatnot. Would be better if he didn't play favorites so much, but brilliant professor and headmaster nonetheless.

I highly recommend this instructor. He is extremely passionate about teaching. Professor Dumbledore will go above and beyond if you ask him for assistance. I wish he taught more classes at Hogwarts. I rather have had him for potions, I think he would have been easier to follow, though he can ramble sometimes and talk to himself.

I took Advanced Spells 602 with Professor Dumbledore. It is an exceptionally hard class, but Dumbledore is a good professor. He's open to many questions and is very patient. Almost everything you learn involves the textbook. He gives 5 exams and assigns a 75 page thesis and final spell demonstration for the final. Would not recommend for everyone.

Dumbledore was an amazing professor. If you enjoy his lengthy speeches and if you don't mind being put in danger every year, you should definitely Hogwarts your school of choice! I occasionally got extra credit by staying late in Dumbledore's office, he made me do things for extra credit that I'd rather not speak of. But overall, good experience.

Sirius(ly) one of my favorite teachers and mentors ever. Was very concerned when we showed up to class with a blackened "dead looking" hand. But he only ever gave help, not asked for it.

You don't realize the power of his lessons until later, but he is one of those professors who can make you reach your potential without raising his voice or putting pressure on you. He assumes that students want to succeed naturally and helps them do so. And he is the greatest wizard of our time.

There's no doubting that Professor Dumbledore is the ultimate person to get wizarding tips from...but his intentions are not always clear. Though he is secretive for the greater good of everyone involved, it can prove to make achieving your goals more difficult in the long run.

Dumbledore acted quite strange through out the year I had him. He always ranted about the brilliant Potter boy, and when the bloody dementors came he didn't do anything except give out chocolate frogs. Great teacher if you can handle his intense work load. He prepares you for when he-who-must-not-be-named would attack in his office hours.

he's wonderful & really helpful. not strict AT ALL. very soft spoken so u might have to pay close attention when he's giving instructions. don't think u could get away with things just cuz he's lenient. mind u he has a very good sense of noticing when someone is lying or not telling the whole truth. almost like he can "read minds" (Legilimens)

Don't get me wrong he is a fun professor with lots of interesting stories. But he is inconsistent coming to class taking long breaks to far off exotic places without notice. Also a bit of a conspiracy theorist as he keeps talking about the dark lord returning hogwash if you ask me. Also not very clear on what he wants. Brings candy to class often.

Dumbledore knows the subject very well. If you don't like Transfiguration, he's very kind to you, but doesn't bother much with you.

Professor Dumbledore is incredibly helpful and encouraging, although admittedly he has an odd sense of humour. He speaks plenty of languages, so whatever you swear in, you're not safe! He prefers events to speak for themselves than to handout punishment. He's inspired me to do what he does.

Prof. Dumbledore is the greatest wizard of his time, hands down. Has real-world experience fighting dark lords and leading nonprofit underground anti-hate organizations. Sometimes hard to understand though and expects a LOT out of students. Really cares about students, even willing to die for them. I'd say he's the GOAT but that's more his brother

Professor Dumbledore is an expert in Transfiguration. He is kind of a big deal in the greater wizarding community, but he really loves teaching us students most. He expects a lot out of his students, but genuinely wants to see us succeed. Prepare to learn a ton and work really hard, but to enjoy the process.

Professor Dumbledore really changed my life. Cliche, yes, but its true. Despite my. . . complicated past. . .and resistance to his wisdom, he believed in me, eventually guiding me to believe in myself. Despite his eccentricity, and caring nature, he does not go easy on the grading, and expects a lot. Dumbledore is a wonderful professor.

Good teacher, but you can't take everything he says too literally. The man basically speaks in riddles and Shakespeare. He's caring, but he gets pretty invested in students at times. It was helpful for me, possibly annoying for others.

I'll probably say is one of my favorite professors in the school. And I think something to do related with the subject. Defend against the dark arts is one of the subjects at you will need for your further life. The teachers give clear directions and chance to practice the spells. He is, but definitely there is an advantage if you are positive.

Professor Dumbledore perhaps is the most excellent professor Ive ever had! Hes very thoughtful and kind, although he may exhibit his strictness sometimes. However, I noticed he liked my classmate Potter more, thats why Potter was the only student to pass the course with A+. I enjoyed taking MAGC101, and want to be like Prof Dumbledore one day.
