Professor Estepa is awesome. One of the best professors are Chabot College. Overall, if you come to class everyday, do the study guides, and pretty much do your work, then you got yourself an A in the class. Highly recommended. Do not pick another Psychology teacher.

The teacher is willing to work with you if you need the help in the class and he will make sure that students come to his office hours for help.

Recommended teacher! He may be over the top sometimes but it definitely kept you awake in class. Tests are weekly but are all online and are only about 10 questions. Barely any homework except for 4 2-pg essays. Overall, he is a good teacher who is willing to work with you to get the grade you want. Nice guy, nice class. Take him!

This class was so easy it's almost a joke. Just go to class and pay attention, also make sure to do the assignments. Everything was done in groups(including the final). He's cool too, easy A for sure.

Prof. Estepa is a really great teacher. He is a a really funny guy and makes the content interesting and easy to understand. He gives very clear outlines for quizzes and if you look it over and study it, the class is fairly simple. I had him for both psych 1 and 3 and he is an awesome teacher and i definitely recommend taking his class.

I took Mr. Estepa for Social Psych and i must say his teaching style makes it a pleasure to go to class.I always looked forward to our group discussions and his very interesting lectures.He is just an all around nice guy and he has made me laugh more than any other teacher at Chabot, but his jokes are really clever and also relevant to the material

Professor Estepa is a great professor. He is young and easy to relate to which is a huge plus in this social psychology class. He is also the reason why I switched majors to psychology. Go to class, put some thought into your work, and study for the tests, and you will do fine. One of the best professors and Chabot.

Professor Estepa was i a cool teacher i really liked him. He was nice, cool, and often funny. However, a lot of things i think he could clarify on way more. He made us write three essays and to me at least they where very confusing.

i took this teacher in 2010 and must have been the easiest class ever. I actually barely went to class but still passed with an A. Just make sure you write the simple 2 page essays he asks for.

Professor Estepa was by far the funniest instructor I have ever had. The class was fun, and he made psychology really interesting. I definitely looked forward to taking those quizzes, because the things I learned in class were great things to learn. Just take good notes, read the assigned chapters, and you will do great on the quizzes and final.

I took it online-EASIEST thing ever. Only spent maybe 30min/week. Workshops in 2 week incriments. 1st paper was the hardest cuz i put in too much effort. After seeing hes an easy grader, it was so simple. Easy 100% on assignments just for doing it. Generous time limit for tests, and theyre open book. Always accepted my late work. Funny comments.

Mr. Estepa is tight. He's a great professor very funny and makes the class interesting. There's not a lot of homework, just a bunch of pre test, post test. There's a total of 4 test in the semester and the 4th one is the final, which was pretty easy. As long as you keep up with the reading and attend class you'll pass easily

Mr.Estepa is laid back, very funny and made the class very interesting. He's cool! He's very clear on his material, doesn't assign a lot of homework. Only pre test and post test which are easy. I personally find Estepa to be the kind of teacher that tries way too hard to be funny, and is only successful a fraction of the time. You have to read the book and do your work, which aren't too difficult at all. The quizzes are easy, and the study guides make them even easier. To quote Estepa, "It's really hard to fail this class."

Half magician half teacher all around a awesome humanbean. Group Work + Group Tests = BINGO.

Come to class, all credit is there. If you want an A, get A'sB's on all the quizzes(3-4 quizzes) and do everything(everything else is easy). I read the textbook online to save money. Do all the online assignments. DO THE ESSAYS!!! He offers extra credit, do it just in case. He bumps up borderline grades(89.5 - 90.0). He always makes jokes.

Overall pretty easy. His test are from lecture AND the book so you must read to get an A on all the test. Test have two parts individual and group portion. Group portion are short answers and usually come from the book. Homework is all online. Just do the homework and most importantly READ and you'll get an A.

lOVED professor Estepa! This guy is super funny, super smart, and sexy on top of everything else! He is tough, I'm not gonna lie, but he seems very passionate about psychology, wants you to learn, and is willing to meet with you or answer questions as needed to help you out. Don't slack or be a dumbass and you will pass no problem. Recommend!

Took him for an online class in the summer and in class. There is a lot of reading, it can be complex and overwhelming but communicate with him, find partners in class and study together. Use flashcards attend class or you won't pass and really apply yourself f you're serious.

Just pay attention and do the work and you'll get an A. Don't make him angry, you would not like him when he's angry, and neither will your GPA.

I took the online class and it was a summer class so it was a ton of work in a short period of time but he is super understanding and is willing to help.

He is a good teacher. He grades fairly and you do have to read and study your material. It's not an effortless A, but definitely easy to pass if you put in reasonable effort. Not a fan of the heavy amount of group work, I feel it was too much because I ended up with people who had bizarre ideas and it was annoying and slowed me down.

OMG! this class was my favorite this semester! the professor is so fun! get ready to hear some good jokes , and i also find his way of forming groups is motivating for the students! i highly recommend this class! Finish the online homework and you'll be fine.

He is a very great teacher I feel all you have to do is do all of your work and you will pass. If you are not good in doing assignments or test then do extra credit work it will help you pass. I give him 5 stars he is awesome if you dont understand ask him email him he will help.

Mr. Aldrian makes the class interesting and material understable to everyone. He relates the material to his students lives. Mr. Aldrian is an overall great professor which I recommend to everyone.

Mr. Estepa makes the class fun and more relatable than most teachers. Uses real life examples that people would go through in an everyday setting and uses it as examples in group work and lectures. Love him! Would take his class again

Professor Estepa is honestly a great guy and teacher, he made the 9am class very enjoyable. You have to write a couple papers but they're on interesting topics. If you show up to class and pay attention and do the short hw you really don't have to do that much reading which is nice. Overall an easy class if you put some effort in.

Stay caught up on the work and the online class is very easy to get a passing grade. Nothing too difficult. He gives access to the online textbook for free which will be needed and is great that it is free. Need to do discussions, journals, 2 papers, test at the end of every unit, and a final.

Aldrian was my favorite professor at Chabot. He made lecture so fun & informational. Hes helpful & kind. Hes not a tough grader and gives you many opportunities to pass.

Aldrian is one of the best Professors I had at chabot . Right now during this difficult Covid-19 epidemic I been picking up more shifts at work making it difficult to turn assignments in. Aldrian extends due dates and contacts us when we havent finished our work.

Great professor with a great attitude, despite some students not trying. He is very knowledgeable and funny af!! Quizzes are 30% of your grade: 15 for individual and 15 for group quizzes. One of my favorite classes. He's not recognized enough!!! Take him, you won't regret it.

Professor Estepa was very professional and communicative. He often sends reminders for students to complete work over Canvas (in an online course) and will be a little flexible with due dates if you communicate with him beforehand. Just quite a bit of reading and vocabulary, so be prepared for that. Overall, a good class!

I took Prof. Estepa during COVID Fall 2020. PSY5 is stats, and I struggled with it in high school so it made me very discouraged when the class first started. Estepa decreases those anxieties and fears by explaining the psych POV and how to combat it. He explains the stats in example young adults can relate to making the subject fun/easy to learn.

I took this Class online for Fall 2020 and it was great. Lectures/assignments were entertaining since the professor would throw in some relatable jokes. Super lenient with due dates which Im super thankful for because not every teacher is, especially since everything transitioned to online.

Professor Estepa is the best teacher Ive had for general education classes. The grading criteria of the course is clear and the course content is easy to handle. Each module gives the student two weeks to turn in work which means theres flexibility. Do yourself a favor and take him!

he gives you a very clear idea of what he wants and expects of you, he makes the class really fun, i took it online. he gives a calendar and it tells you the hw ahead of time so you know, and the tests are open note! hes very flexible too for the most part! deff recommend him!

He responds to emails pretty quickly, and the work is clear. There are only two, 3-4 page papers for the semester. The textbook is free and you need it in order to pass. There is group work too. There are 6 modules with 6-7 assignments so not bad at all. I recommend this class to fulfill GE requirements, the professor is really nice too

Great course! Professor Estepa's psych class was my favorite introductory classes I took. Responsive, respectful, and enthusiastic. I took the six week summer online course, and it's pretty easy as long as you spread out your weekly assignments.

Class was fun to have, be prepared to have to speak to people since there is multiple group projects. Estepa is a funny guy and easy to approach. The class isn't hard but if you are new to psychology you'd have to study. Quizzes are multiple choice and you don't have to take the final if you've been to class everyday. Would take again.

I am not very good at math so I was very nervous taking this class.But with professor estepa everything was very easy to understand.All the test were online! Whenever there is a lesson you have a worksheet that you do for credit.And you have practice quiz for homework which he gives you like 3-4 tries for practice!

I took this psy 1 online! It was very fun class! It very interesting in what we learned and I really enjoy taking his classes in person and online. Literally I took all my psy classes with him except for 2 classes. He is very chill and very kind professor. Definitely take him!

Have him for Psy stats in person and Psych1 online, great in both classes. In person class is a breeze but take notes when he goes over the slide show because they dont really explain much.
