Her lectures are always interesting and she keeps the class engaged. Her power points are very useful and always up online. Her study guides are clear and basically all you need to study for the tests. She's very pretty and I am now very interested in psychology because of her! I will be taking another class with her next semester! Thnx Prof Picard

Ms. Picard comes completely prepared to lecture and engages the class as much as any instructor I've ever seen. The tests are fair and not too hard, if you've kept up with the study sheets. There are several writing assignments for which she gives clear expectations. No reason you shouldn't learn a lot and get a good grade if you make the effort.

Her lectures are very engaging. The study guide will help you on the tests. Although, it does require A LOT of studying. She gives clear explanations but a harsh grader on papers. I had to teach myself APA. I asked for additional explanations; she just told me to "look it up". Doesn't really like after class questions. Could've been a bit nicer :

When I took her she was a new teacher, easy grader,tests are straight to the point just study & I think she also gave a study paper type thing. Enjoyed her class would definitely retake her class!

I had her class for fall semester of 2014 and she was great! If you pay attention and go to class you'll pass with flying colors. Her tests are not that easy but if you follow the study guide she gives and read over your note you should pass. I enjoyed her very much. She is very nice and chill.

To get to the point, she is amazing. She is very intelligent and just a great professor altogether. She is highly knowledgeable, and gives great examples to connect concepts in a way that is easy and fun to understand. Every time I leave that classroom I become excited and inspired. She gives study guides, go over them and you'll be fine! TAKE HER!

She's a good,nice , calm proffesor. She provides a study guide and will not test you outside of that. Just make sure you study your guide and you'll get an A. Material is interesting and easy to understand since she gives real world examples.

Took her for Human Dev Psych, thought she was alright. Doesn't really connect with students, and classes on TR is long and boring. Maybe try to take her for 50min classes. Expect to read your book a lot, because her ppt are not complete (to make you read the book haha). Do the study guides, and you should be fine.

She made me like psychology so i'd definitely recommend her. her tests are pretty easy if you follow the study guide and read your textbook. she's intelligent and willing to help students

Professor Picard has become my favorite professor. Her lectures tell you everything that's on the test and she is really good at explaining things. Her tests are easy and she gives a lot of extra credit oppurtunities. She's nice, pretty, funny, cool, young, and energetic. I would definately take another psychology class with her!

Very helpful, and engaging. Provides a study guide with literally everything that will be on the test so there are no surprises. Book is a good tool but if you take good notes you may not need it.

Amazing professor, her lectures are really interesting and she presents them very well. She's passionate about what she teaches, which makes the class easier to get through. She grades very fairly, giving a study guide with exactly what topics will be on each test. All assignments have very clear guidelines that are easy to understand.

Fantastic Professor!! Professor Picard welcomes class discussions, values feedback from students and is very passionate about Psychology. There are no surprises in her tests and quizzes she covers all material in her review days and study guides. Lectures are from the textbook.

Her tests are super easy as you listen to the lectures and take notes. She doesn't give you busy work and her assignments are very clear and easy to do.

Prof. Piccard is an amazing professor! She honestly goes above and beyond when it comes to teaching! She always make sure students are engage in her class, and is always willing to help students during her office hours. You can get up to 10 extra credit points.

Doctor Picard was amazing. I was always excited to go to her class and i honestly didnt wanna leave bcz she knows how to keep it interesting! study guides are provided so i got A on every single test and i didn't take the final. Tip: read the book. it is your best friend for her class! also listen and take notes in class.

There are two major projects which require a lot of research and writing, but she is a very fair grader as long as you put in the effort. I would take her class again.

Dr Morales Picard is very passionate about Psychology, she's an amazing professor, gives good feedback, if you study the study guide you should be good for the test. will definitely take another class with her.

Second time I am her class (101 and 203) and that is the best Professor I have had at MC. She is an example of a Professor who gives you every single thing you need to succeed but at the end of the day, it is you who makes his grade (it is not hard though). Sometimes I think I fell in love :)

-Super interesting class -If you read, youre good to go. -Shes very helpful, wont leave you confused -Her study guides cover everything on her test (Which are multiple choice!) -Only 2-3 writing assignments and they are simple -EXTRA CREDIT IS A BLESSING 12/10 would take the class again

If you have the option, buy the online textbook, or if you buy a brand new physical textbook, make sure it has the online code. The online textbook is VERY helpful because each chapter has several exercises that help you study. The textbook is easy to read.

I loved her class. Lectures were really fun and interesting. There were 2 papers and 5 exams. She gives out study guides which help us for the exams. If you complete the study guides, you will get an A. Because of her class, I decided to major in psychology. Please take her!

Prof. Piccard was pretty good. Not too many assignments and on the few ones we got she was a little bit of a grammar freak. Half of the questions on the tests are from her slides shows (even if she says it is all from the book), so pay close attention to her lectures and try not to skip class.

Dr. Picard is an amazing professor! She teaches the material so well. She gives lots of extra credits and her exams are easy. There will be an optional final exam that you might or might not take depend on your grade. I would totally take her again. She is a real gem!! Easy A :)

Lots a lecturing but she will answer questions and knows what she is talking about. You will need to get the textbook and attendance is mandatory. I took her for two courses and loved her in both. Learned a lot. Gives tests every two weeks or so and has some projects but nothing too difficult. Updates her blackboard and checks email frequently.

Prof. Picard was a phenomenal professor. She explained material clearly & her lectures were so interesting. She was fun & lively & answered all questions with no hesitation. The textbook was helpful to have but not absolutely necessary to pass. If you want an A, get it but if youll settle for a B or even C, save that money! She's awesome regardless

I really enjoyed taking psychology class with her. If you already have basic knowledge about psychological concepts, the class is pretty easy. She answers questions clearly and is very patient. She posts the slides on Blackboard so that the notes are accessible if you miss a class.

Enjoyed this class and was a memorable learning experience. Papers can be a hassle to write but it is what it is. 5 exams are a lot and can feel overwhelming at times but just study what is on her study guides and you'll be fine. Very interesting & relevant curriculum. She encourages and likes when students interact. Great prof and great class!

The tests are not hard. Just study well the study guide and read the book if you have time. It would be an easy A. However the writting assignements require a lot of efforts.

She is truly amazing!!!! I've had her for PSYCH102 - General Psychology in the fall 2018. She really knows how to engage students into her lectures. She makes it totally relatable to her students. Her tests and assignments are a breeze. It covers everything you've ever learned in her class. She is also very kind, patient, and very beautiful too!!!!

I had Professor Piccard my first year at Montgomery College and I absolutely loved her. She made me fall in love with psychology so much that I decided to major in it. Not only is she such an awesome professor, but you can tell that she's genuinely such an interesting person. I promise that you will not be disappointed!!

I was enrolled in her summer psych 203 course, as we all know summer courses are rapid. Quizzes are on the in-class lectures and textbooks readings so make sure to read before class. Her lectures were to the point and often times we had class discussions which kept the class alive. She was a wonderful professor and I highly recommend taking her!

Professor Picard cares about her students. She is one of few MC professors that is well prepared and knowledgeable about the material she is teaching. She goes into further details and explains every topic to be well prepared for each exams. I wish more professor were as amazing as Professor Picard. Get the textbook and make sure to read as well!!

For this class, you actually HAVE to read. All her exams are based on the info from the book, so sorry but you have to read :// Tests will be difficult if don't follow her study guide while reading. Lectures can be boring sometimes, she talks a lot. Gives good feedback on papers. JUST READ, take notes, do all your assignments and you'll be fine.

Tough teacher, Extremely organized, & Kind. Don't expect group work, not her style. On the first day of class, she told us that "this class was not gonna be an easy A" she was kind of right. Her study guides are not as useful for quiz days, you're better off going through your notes & textbook. Easy on grading written assignments which is a plus!

Clear lectures, straightforward class. Very knowledgeable in her field and is always willing to answer your questions. Says that the tests are "not designed to trick you"-personally that's a lie but idk maybe I just have bad reading comprehension skills lol

Although you do need to read a lot for the test, the class itself was interesting. Wasnt boring lectures, you do take small notes every day but she has the slides abatible for you if you need to go back. Also, makes it conversational for those whod like to discuss the subject. It was an good class, wish we couldve finished in person!

We switched from in person to online classes in the middle of the semester. We had a safe landing & she didnt stick to lecture times, we just read through the slides & she would hold an optional video Q&A. Simple class, or at least straightforward work. Prof is compassionate.

Go over the studies and take notes from her lectures using her study guides. Exams are based off her study guides so definitely use them. Don't be afraid to ask her for help on anything, she will gladly explain.

Professor Morales is amazing, she teaches all the materials with a passion and she lets you know what needs to be done and the deadlines for all things on the syllabus. Pay attention and do your work on time and you will succeed.

Amazing professor! I love her lectures, you'll never get bored. Tests are open note, multiple-choice, with 1 short essay question. The current event's research paper was kinda tough though, so make sure you get started on it early and ask a lot of questions if you don't understand.

I was hesitant taking Psych203 as a 7week course but she made the course great and easy to understand, I like how she did the hybrid format which we took tests online and therefore meet online and then met in person for the lectures she is just super nice to everyone.

Pros: Nice,caring,explains things clearly until u understand it, gives extra credit,and very flexible. Cons: Grades a little heavy when it comes to the 2 writing assignment so watch out for that. Overall she was a really good psych professor. I took her online and fast paced.I did very well and recommend her for intro psych.

Super easy professor. Just pay attention in class and take notes and you will get an A. Didnt require cameras being on or talking in class which was great.

Professor Picard offers so much insight into the course. She knows her stuff! I took AP Psych, and we went over some same concepts in this course, but like I said earlier she added more insight, and she is one of the best professors. There's some extra-credit in the course, and she responds to emails quickly.

I took her fast paced 7 week class and at first i was scared because it was only 7 weeks but she was very knowledgeable. she gives out study guides and answer any questions you have. She responds to email very fast. Exam were open notes and she also gives plenty of time for u to finish the two big writing assignments.Take her, u won't regret it :)

She is one of the best teachers at MC! As someone who struggles to tune into lectures, her lectures are unique and exciting. I suggest never missing out on a day of class since you go through a lot in one lecture.There are barely any assignments, but the ones you do are pretty fun. If I could, I would only take her classes for the rest of college!

The professor enhanced students' interest in the subjects and held our attention. For anyone with disabilities, this teacher is very accommodating, clear, organized, and kind.

Simply the BEST, it doesn't get better than her. So nice, and so caring. Her class is really easy to pass if you use the resources she provides. Use the study guide for the tests (can't stress this enough). Her lectures are fascinating, you will learn so much. One of the best professors I've ever had since my first day of kindergarten.

Picard's classes felt very personal and educational when I sat through them. She made them relevant and infused them with her own elements of life to keep us interested and engaged all while getting work done. Study guides were a life saver and made things so much easier. Actually cares for her students as actual people, 10/10 would recommend.

Her lectures were so nice and constantly communicates with her students as well and her exams are very straight forward. she makes it so easy and responds to all of her emails. we only had two papers and a few online exams which was basically what she teaches us in class. i highly recommend her if you want to pass this class while learning so much

There are in class assignments but as long as you show up to lecture you will get high scores on them. Exams are taken at home. Final paper instead of exam.

I took PSYCH 100 with Professor Morales Picard.The lectures are interesting and she engages with the class too so it makes easier to follow. We had 2 writing assignments and that's about it. Every time we would finish a chapter there would be a mini practice quiz that we could retake as many times as needed. No final exam, just a final paper.

Overall, this class was okay - the weekly tests and discussion board posts are textbook based (heavy) ! 1 discussion and test weekly, exam every other week. 1-2 papers. Do not take this class if you are not fond of reading or fond of psychology. Prof. Picard is an honest grader and gives good feedback, however.

Took her for PSYC 100 & 203, shes the best! Read the textbook, follow the study guides & you won't fail! Practice quizzes every week can be retaken an unlimited amount of times before they're due. No homework, 5 open book tests that are multiple choice and 2 papers. Lectures are super interesting & engaging. You'll learn lots without stressing.

Professor Picard was very helpful and engaging and I found her to be very understanding whenever I had trouble in class. She is very thorough when teaching and frequently checks in to make sure everyone understands the content.
