If you need to take Math 9 or Math 14 please take it with Alexandr Davydov.This guy is so easy.All u have to do is participate in class and you'll get an A+. U can fail all ur tests during semester but if you pass the final and come to class every day and PARTICIPATE,u're not gonna get lower than B.

Great Professor! Enjoyed this class. I didn't participate in doing board examples that would get you extra credit. But, I did ask lots of questions. I got an A in this course because the Professor knows how to explain the material.

He's very easy and sweet. All you got to do is pass the final with 25/40 questions minimum, good attendance, and participate and you'll get an A. I've got an A because all of the above. But every1 is different. If he picks on you, it means he want the students to be on the same page.

at first he looks weird but when u get to know him his the nicest math teacher i ever had has a lot of patient and the time just ask him he make everybody participate in class and trust me when u get to the board it might be intimidating but in the end u will remember overall nice teacher take him.

I loved him!!!! he's so funny a first u think he's a loony toon but then u start 2 understand him and laugh at his jokes. his class is very clear and he makes sure everyone understands the material. he only gives 3 tests and a final he doesnt try to trick you, everything is very straight forward. I strongly recomend taking his class

Pretty nice guy. However, his accent is a little difficult to understand at first, but after a while you get used to it. Overall pretty good professor. He will actually help you if you need it. I recommend taking him if you have the chance.

Simply the BEST

Prof Davydov is simply the best prof in my opinion. He explains materials in a right manner. Moreover, he has a heavy accent but clearly understandably. The most important thing in his class is that you gotta do well in his tests, and participate in everyday class work and your A+ is guaranteed.

I received an A+ as long as you participate in class and always go up to the board and just do what he asks you will pass. Also the test he gives are all multiple choice and easy so just study what he gives you and pass the final

I didn't love math before this class. Professor Davydov taught me to love it. He is very clear and understandable. If you present constantly in his class, you would have extra credits. I highly recommend him.

really hilarious old guy; works slowly on the board but will not repeat past examples. homework is not collected. dont sleep in class and dont use your phone and you will not get on his bad side. understanding person in general.

Very good professor. He explains really slow, repeating all information few times. But it works - most of the students get the information after second-third repeating. He always asks if we have questions, stays after class for 5 min to answer the questions. I will take him again

He's great at what he does and answers any question you have with a smile on his face. He is funny and cares about his students. If you take notes, participate and do your homework you will pass. Great professor, very straight forward, a lot of homework but it prepared us for the finals, strict on certain things but very cool otherwise.... I've learned a great lot this summer and was very pleased in the end

if you just want to get an A then take him. He does has anger issue problems, so don't bother asking him questions because he'll just get mad and insult you. but the GOOD THING is he only counts final. He goes over the review which is same thing in final. So just study the review and youll do good. but dont bother asking him jus watch on youtube.

There's not much to say he's one of the best and funniest professor in the school. He'll crack some jokes here and there that could be funny to some. Prepare to take three test and one final exam that are fairly easy if you attend class and do his homework. Only his final exam counts for your final grade and remember to participate for easy A or A+

I had the best time in his class made a couple of friends and loved every second of his teaching he made a lot of jokes which made it even better though there is not many professors that teach high level math courses there is no doubt in my mind he is one of the best his material was easy to understand and follow and I would take him again 100%.

Come to class, Listen, take notes, and that's it. Yes he has a Russian accent but it is not that bad. If you have questions he will answer them and help. Don't take the class if you are not ready for it he will not be the reason you failed. I got a well deserved B and if I studied more outside of class an A would have been possible. Good Professor.

This professor is good. Classes attendance and participation matter. He gives homework after each lecture which I found helpful for practicing and understanding the material better (he does not grade the homework). He does a good final exam review which is similar to the real exam.

Comments before mine were clearly smoking something. The professor is very helpful if you don't understand the material. The exams are easy and based off review sheets he gives out. No homework. Class is graded by exams and attendance. He is very strict with attendance so come every day. If you fail, its because you didn't put in the effort. 10/10

Get on his good side by coming in everyday on time and making him laugh, Do not skip class or come in late because he will know, he is very strict with that. If he sees you try and give effort, he could curve your final grade. Final isn't hard and that is all that matters alongside attendance even if you fail the exams. Overall great Professor.

A WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW PROFESSOR!!!!!!!! SUCH AN EASY GRADER. THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERS FOR YOUR GRADE IS THE FINAL AND THE IT IS LIKE KINDERGARTEN.

This guy is really funny and has old man humour, so he's pretty pleasant to be around. His accent isn't too bad. He does seem to make things sound a lot easier than what they really are, especially considering that this is a Calc 2 class. He grades by 3 exams, Exam 1 & 2 get graded and 3 is more of a warning of the final. (Study Derivatives!)

Great professor, but a very difficult class. You need to be able to work through problems that you've seen in pre-calc, trig, and culminate it altogether like you did in calc 1 since calc2 is a continuation of MAT 15. I wish I tried harder in his class.
