Alex is by far the best professor I have ever had. He brings in experts to talk about everything he is teaching. I learned more in his class than any other I have taken.

You don't use a book, but will get trial accounts with sites all over the web, so be prepared to unsubscribe to a lot at the end of the course. He's one of the good ones!

Very good professor! I had him for my last Entrepreneurship classes and he was vey helpful. Alex cares about the success of his students, he will go above and beyond to help you be successful. His teaching approach is a bit different from other professors, but If you want to succeed in your business you will need to be all in.

He works hard for his students so he expects us to work hard too, but he also understands that we have lives/responsibilities outside of school & is willing to be flexible if you just ask. Clearly tells you what is expected of you throughout the semester and you have a fair amount of time to do all of your assignments. This class is only as hard as you make it for yourself. If you show up you will pass.

Alex is a fair teacher, he is willing to work with you as long as you tell in in advance. His assignments are not too hard but will take some time out of your week, but it is a upper division course. You will learn a lot about ethics in this class.

Great teacher. There is work to do in this class, but he is a fair grader. He makes class coming to class enjoyable. Come to class, you do get graded on it but the class lectures are enjoyable and fun.

Dr. Alex is more about class discussions for assignments. He gives lectures everyday and you have to be there to get participation points. He gives study guides for each test so you know exactly what to expect. He is fair and dresses well every day.

I really enjoyed this class and the professor! He made the discussions fun in class and made sure to answer any of your questions. You just need to make sure you review and study for the tests because it is more situation questions rather than definitions. But I would take this class again and I would take another class from this professor!

He was pretty cool. I plan on taking a class from him again. He drops 2 assignments at the end and that will help raise your grade. He doesnt allow late assignments though that was a kind of a bummer, but not really that bad. Other than that he is caring and learns your name if you participate. Downside is Sometimes the class got really boring.

I love listening to his story's he has lived in sales, and knows what he is talking about. This class was a lot of work outside of class. Be ready to be educated on salesforce. It takes patience, but it is worth it.

Probably from those that don't show up to class, turn things in on time, then expect an "A" at the end of the semester. Alex is amazing! He is very passionate and knowledgeable in the sales and retail space. The material was very easy to learn and only required minimal studying. He does not accept late work, which is hard for me, but it honestly really does teach you to be better prepared for life.

Great class but be ready to buckle down and get to work. Alex is all about getting you to learn for yourself and it'll kick your butt, but it is successful. Make sure to show up in class and give it your best and you will be just fine.

I really like Alex! I took his sales ethics class and it was fun. Very discussion based. I actually used the book in this class which sucks, but is cool cause it did not rent it for no reason like other classes. He usually learns your name and it cool to every single student. he cares about you as a student and what you have to say. Take his class.

This class was like a 1.5 on difficulty. You pretty much make up a company and make a website and social media accounts for it. It's pretty easy, just make sure you turn in your assignments on time. My final grade is literally 100%.

Alex was specific with assignments. He was thorough with helping me understand assignments and respond quickly to questions I had on assignments.

I thought the information taught in this class was beneficial. I just don't love online classes so for me understanding the expectations and what he wanted was a little hard.

There are some HUGE assignments for this which consume a lot of time outside of class, which takes a lot more than three hours a week. This class really helps you learn about LinkedIn, Facebook, SalesForce, and Qualtrics. A very helpful class, and I will definitely use the skills in the future, but it takes a LOT of work to get a good grade.

This class is very inspiring and very interesting, it is very easy to pass if you do the homework daily. The atmosphere is great, it makes you want to go.

Alex is literally the best professor Ive ever had. He genuinely cares about his students and makes his instructions very clear on each assignment. If you dont understand exactly what hes asking, you can shoot him a text and he replies in minutes with exact details to give you full understanding of what he is asking for. I highly recommend Alex!

hes a tougher grader in this course as it is a 4000 level but its still not hard. as long as you get your assignments in on time (doesnt accept late work) you will be fine. he also drops two assignments at the end of the semester! if you do in person, he does some discussions in class so dont miss or you will get a zero...

Professor Lawrence was such a great teacher! I took his PS 3303 class online and he was a great teacher. Really class to get an A in if you follow his instructions. He was easy to get a hold of and was really excepting of late assignments if you didn't understand the assignment. He was awesome! I would highly recommend taking his class.

This is a pretty east class as long as you stay up on your work.

He's a good teacher and the work is pretty easy. He is not good at responding to your work. I had lot of assignments I didn't get full credit on because he wouldn't respond to my emails. Pretty easy class, but he's strict.

Curriculum that is practical and engaging--no purely theoretical learning here, so get ready to "get out of the building" and talk to people to test your business ideas prior to presentations (yes, you will be presenting). The most time consuming part of the class were the Discussions which weren't hard, just pop in once a day to comment on a post and your good. As far as professors go he has been very informative, helpful, and genuinely is actively trying new ways for his students to learn. I really enjoy the format of both of his class's. Participation matters in this class. He definitely makes you work for your grade. He's got a good sense of humor and I think overall is understanding; just be prepared to post to discussions non-stop.

Dr. Alex Laurence can be a little strict with his rules, no late work is accepted. As long as you follow the rules and read the syllabus very well you should be fine. Even though he is a little strict he really cares about his students. I would definitely take another class with him.

Dr. Lawrence treats you like an adult. He expects effort but he also is easy to work with. While he may not "accept" late work, he will definitly work with you if you give him notice and are responsible. His instructions are clear and if you do the work, you will get an A. There is no final. I have three kids and work full time and managed to pass.

He is a great professor and I had a good experience in his online course. There is a lot of weekly reading in the textbook and a very involved discussion board. If you do exactly what he tells you, you will do great in his class. If I would have given this class more effort, I'm sure that I would have gotten more than just a passing grade.

This was a great class to take online! You learn a lot about how to use social media tools. It was an enjoyable class. All work is online. Assignments due weekly. Every couple of weeks he had us hop on a zoom call at night. Good teacher and great class!

Great class! You have one assignment usually from the book weekly. It's super easy. If you do the work, and read the chapters, you'll get an A. He's an awesome teacher!

This is a pretty dry subject, but Alex is upfront and honest about it right from the beginning. You just read each chapter and answer some questions (usually at the end). You have to space your discussion participation out throughout the week or you won't get full points, which is annoying, but not the end of the world. He cares and wants to help.

This course deals with a wealth of real-world application. Learning multiple types of software can be a bit tedious at times, but Professor Lawrence does a fantastic job at giving detailed instructions. You'll learn a lot about Sales Technology that you'll actually use in a sales career.

Dr. Lawrence is a great professor. I love his style which involves teaching us of software used in the sales industry, but he also leaves a lot of time for students to be agents and learn things on their own. This is not an overwhelming coarse, but if you pay attention and apply what you learn, you will come out and be of more value to employers.

Pretty straight forward class. There is a lot of busy work. There is one assignment from the book & one discussion due each week, then there are a few projects throughout the course (ex: watch a movie and wright a page about it), no tests or quizzes. One big paper at the end of the course, but it's basically just your opinion on ethics in the USA

Loved the class, but hated all of the unnecessary rules, such as only getting credit on discussions if discussion portal was accessed on different days.

Dr. Lawrence is my favorite professor. He's very funny and I love his assignments. He'll get back to you quickly on his 'in office' days. Sometimes his online assignments make you figure some things out on your own. It can be challenging but I've always been able to complete it and receive a good grade. Professor Lawrence is a solid professor to have. This class in particular dealt with creating a website, marketing it, and a few other things. He is a caring professor and pushes his students. That being said, this isn't an easy "A" class. You will have to work hard for your grade. He comes off as a hard professor but just wants you to work hard.

Dr. Lawrence taught me life lessons while taking his different courses that I still use and quote around my friends, colleagues, and family. He is very inspiring and knowledgeable. I enjoyed this class, the professor has integrated the use of ChatGPT which was an interesting aspect. The assignments in this class were mostly papers and PowerPoint presentations. He is clear in grading criteria and communicates with you well. You can tell that he cares.

He is a little unorthodox as a professor which I enjoy, but he teaches you in an understandable and clear way. I will be taking any class he offers for the Professional Sales program.
