This class is very easy! Gives the questions and answers to most of the tests! However, he doesn't really want to hear opinions that don't coincide with his, so watch out...

Extremely easy. He gives study guides before each exam with exactly the same questions that are on the exam. He has an accent which is irritating and incomprehensible. Overall he is a very nice human being and willing to help. But he is extremely boring.

Sometimes hard to understand what he's saying. Class is easy. 2 Essays, 4 Tests (MC and short answer) 1 lab. He gives a lecture everyday but the lecture is pretty pointless. TEST REVIEWS before the test with about 90% of the MC question directly off the test and he gives you the short answer part Q&A word for word.

Awsome teacher, Extremely helpful. If you show him that you are trying, than he will work with you. he gives very good review which is almost word to word for test. overall it's not very hard to get an A in this class.

Took him for May term. Very easy class. Does have an accent but you'll get over that. Gives word for word reviews for test so it's an easy A if you're willing to do the effort and memorize the reviews. Not very patient but extremely knowledgeable. Funny at times and very interesting. Take him if you're willing to learn and given basically free test

I don't know what Dr. Magoha possibly did to the students who wrote those mean comments, but he is a great teacher and only teaches you what u SHOULD know. The is not need for a book, attendence is extremely mandatory. I dont understand government, barely paid attendion & made an "A", those who don't are just lazy & are looking and an easy grade.

Professor was very helpful and fair in grading; often discussed current events and their correlation to the text book material.

lectures ALOT! knows what hes talking about though...other than that he gives a review sheet before the test...all you have to do is memorize it and its a easy 100.

Magoha is preachy, and repeats himself a lot, but he is at least trying to engage you. Lectures do not cover the test material, but he will give you the questions and answers to the exams the week before the test, So there isn't much excuse for failing. Both papers are simple and straightforward.

EASY class for lazies! *Pointless* lectures - DON'T take notes/read txtbk. Reviews are EXACTLY like test, but you gotta memorize PARAGRAPHS. Gave no 100s on the essay but still easy 3 pages. Few grades so don't slack. He has VERY opinionated views, yells/argues a lot, but I like listening to debates. Friendly if ur on his good side so Attend Class!

Very easy. review=test, you write an essay it's easy also. He doesn't give 100's on it but he will give a 98 so it doesn't matter. Overall, good class, just sit back and listen, very interesting and opens your eyes

Easy..taking him again but for govt 2302 flex this spring. review is the test. A lot of memorizing. Good man, and good to listen to what he says. Overall, I recommend him. He tends to argue tho and is always "right"

Overall great professor. His class was easy A if you do what's asked. He's very knowledgeable and very interesting to listen to. He's also comedic at times. Very nice gentleman. I highly recommend him.

I took Govt2301 with him during Wintermester and he really made the class enjoyable. He does have an accent, but everything can be understood. He's got lots of personality and charisma and he'll make the class interesting. His class is easy A (his exam reviews are exactly what's on the exams).

Really enjoyed the class. He doesn't lecture from the book so no notes. He gives points for attendance & participation so be engaged in the discussion. The 1st 2 tests were multi choice & he gives the answers 1 week before test & 4-5 short answer, also gives you those, just memorize. Final is just short answer essay, gives those too. 2 easy papers.

at first when I took the class I thought that I made a mistake, but later then he made me fall in love with the class,I really enjoyed taking his class and the conversations we had in the class, a true American and a great professor, If you ever thing of GOVT class professor Magoha is the one to take a class with..Captain

Brilliant man whom is well versed in govt. Comes across as hard at first but is personable and helpful IF you show up, pay attention, and actually try. Gives reviews which make work a breeze but textbook can be studied if review days are missed. Wait to buy textbook!! Can impassion anyone about govt! Will be taking him for govt 2! Highly recommend!

This is the best professor at Richland College , yall. OVERALL , He earns all HIGH 5555. TESTS give out were NO TRICKS , NO BULL , NO GAMES . IT just straight up from the reviews. I took him for summer1 , class lectured interesting. Attendance is important. His exams are simple he gives you the review exactly like on the exam I made a B.

I took Prof Magoha for both govt 2301 and 2302. Do not buy the text book. Listen to what he has to say because he makes very relevant points about our political system. His reviews are EXACT REPLICA of the exams. He grades the paper and lab assignment very easy. I didn't even try hard to earn that A in both his classes. Attendance is a must!

I wasn't really looking forward to taking this class but I'm so glad I took it with this professor. I enjoyed listening to his lectures because they were interesting and I was amazed at how much I didn't know about our political system. I honestly got so much out of his class and I know everyone who takes it will too.

Prof Magoha comes off a little scary but he actually a nice teacher. Do exactly as he says and will get a good grade. He tells you exactly what to study for exams. I would take him again for GOVT 2302.

Professor posts the exams review over E-campus 3 days before the test’s day. Professor let you print out the exams reviewers’ bring 2 class so; professor can go over with your. At the end semester, every single his students earn @ least A. Thank you for your enthusiastic teaching, Professor. We are DCCCD’s students highly recommend this professor.

He was a nice teacher, made things interesting. he got off topic often. not much homework. Just a few tests which he gave you the answers too. I passed without even reading the book.

Professor Alex Magoha is intelligent and very resourceful. He knows Government in his fingertips. Ask him anything about any country's government. He would teach you the government of any country. Puntuality and attendance matters a lot. No academic cheating is allowed.Take If you really want to know or study Government or Political Science.

He is very funny and knowledgeable. Tests come directly from his reviews and instructions for the essay were clear. Be punctual and do not argue with him unless you know your stuff.Easy class.

I was one of the few older students in his class and sit first row on a class full of high school kids. The guy had to put on a charade so the kids get a grip of what his teaching style was about. Be on time, do not argue with him and memorize his reviews to get a good grade

Professor Magoha is very intelligent, he teaches from what is going on in America. you leave his class knowing at least one thing you didn't know. He lays down his rules at the beginning of the semester, no cell use and no Facebook use. Attendance is mandatory to get your full points.Read your book and his reviews and you will be fine.

He knows government from A-Z. Very strict, attendance is mandatory. I took him for summer and thought it will be easy but no. Not Easy A, if you don't read, you don't pass. He tells you what to study. For fall students, good luck!!! He said it'll be really hard.

I took this teacher at Collin College at the Plano Campus in Spring 2012, and at Richland College Campus during Spring of 2013. This is the best teacher for government there is and I dare someone to challenge that.

The good: clear expectations and grading. Gives test questions out during class. I will admit he is smart. The bad: No organization in class whatsoever just lectures and goes on long tangents. The ugly: Huge conspiracy theorist. his lectures are painful to listen to because he implies that if you don't agree with him or believe him you are dumb.

Professor Magoha provides exact study material for the tests and clear grading criteria for any writing assignments. During the course he does seem to discuss things that are not involved in your average Government course, however, college can be like that at times. Too easy to follow along.

Prof. Magoha is a great Professor. Pay attention to the lecture and take notes. He gives you a review before the exams, study that and you should be good. He can go on rants at times which is hilarious but overall he is very knowledgeable. He is very caring despite the fact that he can snap at you at times. I would take him again if I could.
