Mr. Sarabia is such a great professor, always with a positive attitude, you walk in and he has a big welcoming smile. I never missed class, I was always so excited to learn. You work in groups. It is a guaranteed A. Highly recommended, if you want an Easy A, just read and do the work. Super mega easy

we rely on our group and power points. Attendance is VERY important and is part of a grade. He finds ways to encourage us to participate since that is another easy grade to obtain. He is always clear in what he wants and encourages everyone to do their best. He tries to guide them when necessary and offers extra credit points throughout the course.

This professor is very attentive to your needs. His teaching style is easy to understand and makes it easy to learn the material. I found him to be extremely helpful when I expressed concerns about a project.

So far, I have loved all of the psychology courses I have taken!!!!! You need to attend class, it is for a grade. Participation matters; the class is interactive, which makes it easy to retain the material. This is an easy A, if you are prepared with each assignment and exam... extra credit events are also offered throughout the whole semester.

This class was so interactive, so be ready to participate (it is for a grade)... since it is so engaging, it is also easier to retain the material learned. Attendance is part of your grade, so unless you really have to be out, try to never miss. Extra credit is available throughout the semester. Easy A if you learn the material & attend class.

I took a mini mester online and the time flew by. If not mistaken it was a 6 weeks course. The class was easy to navigate. Great instructor.

General Psychology was an amazing class since day one. I truly enjoyed interacting with students and the teacher making friends. I had lots of fun with the group projects and the environment of the class was very good. The professor is very understandable and very kind he treats everyone fairly. A great Instructor who would have lectures everyday. He does he's job and teaches us, and only the students who do there part pass. The Students grade depends on the effort he or she puts.

I took PSYC 2301 and as a whole this class was very informative, I took plenty of knowledge here and actually used it in real life. Mr. Sarabia is very hands on in his lecture and he allows you to have a voice in his classroom, even sometimes when you don't want to be heard! Truly a class I looked forward to every week.

He is well prepared, punctual, never cancels classes, speaks very clearly, writes very neat, is very organized, and always reminds students of upcoming deadlines. He is inspirational for graduating at the top of his class twice, and as STC alum.

Professor Sarabia is great! I took him for Adolescent Psychology. The class was easy if you show up. Pay attention to the powerpoints for exams. He gives plenty of extra credit so its your own fault if you don't get an A. I'd definitely take him again.

Proffesor Alex Sarabia is the best Psychology proffesor at STC. I was very fortunate to have him for both General Psychology where I received a C, and also for Learning Frameworks where I received an A. He is accesible after class, and is willing to help his students if they ask for the help they need.

Mini sem spring 2023. 1 40 question exam and 1 discussion every week. Read the powerpoints given and you'll pass the exams with ease. Write decent discussion replies and you'll get a 100%. He is super lenient, very kind, and very caring. Absolutely recommend. Love this class & hope to take Mr. Sarabia again.

I took this course online and it was really easy for me. He would give many extra credit opportunities. For example, he'd have us watch about 5 short videos and write a short paragraph summary about them. It was really great because he'd give those about every week. As for the tests, there's nothing to worry about because they were very easy.

Alex Sarabia is the best professor I've had at South Texas College, and I have taken classes not only in Starr County Campus, but also at Pecan Campus and online. I've taken him in person and online and both have been great. He has even been the first and ONLY Faculty (Professor) of the Year in Starr County Campus and in the psych department.

I took Mr. Sarabia online and don't regret it, he organizes his Blackboard course so well, grades right away, always replies to emails / messages quickly, and is very understanding of students. I don't know how a professor so young like him has so many achievements. STC should hire more professors like him, no wonder he was Faculty of the Year!
