He was good at first but then he started shifting downwards....YES, he does teach straight from the book. Doesn't go over some homeworks and if you have question from the test you took, he won't go over it in class!
The class was hard enough just trying to figure out what he was saying.Attendance isn't mandatory, he doesn't keep track. Doesn't know how to explain lectures. You end up more confused than you already are. Wouldn't recommend if you ever want to take math again.
This guys was my Algebra II / Trig. math tutor in H.S. and somehow I thought I couldn't understand the topic because I wasn't applying myself at the time.... Looking back, this guy was a terrible waste of tutoring money! I can only imagine how bad he is at teaching a class.

this guy is very bad in teaching. I took him in Pre-Calc and also took him Cal because of me schedule, but more than half of my class didn'understand this guy with his indian accent. I will recommend everybody not to take him.
i hate his class! i was one of the good student, but i still hated his class. never liked helping his students. his tests are ridiculously difficult, and takes points off for things such as having three decimal points instead of two. i took him during fall semester, and i still remember his rediculous tests!

Not friendly. Does not want to help you. Hard to understand. Makes Math more difficult. Acts like we are children and tells us to leave for 5 to 20 minutes and then come back(like being in time out )Non ethical & can be rude at times
His tests are difficult because they do not resemble the homework that he assigns. Many times he will take off for arbitrary or stupid reasons, and he rarely helps people learn what they need to know. Most people are frustrated and angry during his class.
Don't like him much... I'm one of the "good students" and I work at understanding him and how he teaches, but still... he's not great. His rather poor teaching isn't helped by his decidedly loose grasp on the English language, either.
DO NOT TAKE HIM! His tests are really long and difficult, not even close to the exercises we do in class. The students never have time to finish his test. He is really hard to understand and he doesn't like to answered question.
You can barley understand his english
This dude is a complete IDIOT!!! he acts so dumb! i dont know if its because class was at 7am, but he blabs on and on and on about "johnny" and how "johnny" walks along the x-axis...he pronounces zero...zeeedoooo!!! and has a strong thick incomprehensible accent...lots of bookwork..hard tests...tried to drop me for being sick! LOSER!DO NOT TAKE HIM
He doesn't know English, I don't get how this man has been working for so many years. You learn from the book all we do is do problems in class and then every once in a while we will have a quiz or test. I would take another professor in my opinion but if you do take him your be in for a long semester.
I did not like professor Bathula at all. He was a terrible teacher. He was cruel and non-responsive. Do not ever take his class. I basically taught myself the entire course content. It was crazy. He would write down a problem and then immediatly jump to the answer without any explanation. Terrible teacher, terrible person, and has bad ratings.
I think that this professor is actually pretty good. He is an easy going teacher that tries to help this students but only if the student tries to improve. Got an A in his class. I agree that sometimes his accent is sort of interesting but the tests are not that hard and mostly come from the book that just had a few numbers changed.
DO NOT TAKE IF YOU DO YOU WILL HATE MATH FOREVER. HE DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO TEACH
He is the worst math teacher I ever had in my life.He doesnt know how to teach,he never takes attendace which is good but gives u an attitude whenever u ask him 4 help..grades ur papers bad and makes stupid jokes out of math..who does that?I will recommend you to never take him, he should be fired!
In my opinion, he is the worst teacher I ever had.He never takes attendace which is good but gives you an attitude whenever you ask him for help, he doesnt no how to grade. He makes jokes out of math, and i didnt learn anything from it.HIs accent makes the class understandable.
i hated this class with all my heart ! it started with abt 25 people in the class! By the end of the semester there were only 10 of us left!i had allready taken math before and gotten a D but being in his class instead of getting better, his teaching made me worse! i ended up with an F! :(
He is the worst teacher. If you ask him some Qs, he will mad at you. Never take his class.
He is impossible to learn from. He grades his exams very difficultly and gives very little partial credit. He also makes many errors. Review your graded work carefully. Avoid taking his class!
Worst teacher I ever had. He has an attitude when you ask him questions. He makes many mistakes on grading, and when you take it back to him he doesn't apologize for making a mistake. Not a nice teacher. He takes points off for not rounding to 3 decimal places, even though he did not state that we had to on the test.
I took him over the summer and I thought I wasnt meant for math.Unhelpful and do not like his teaching. Took 180 agian in the fall received an A. Horrible professor, do not recommend
He is a good prof. His instructions r great. He even give u memory hints to recall the fomula..definitely going to take his class again...
Doesnt get much worse, homework assignments are confusing, the guy has a condescending comment every time someone asks a question, and the hardest part about the class is figuring out what you are suppose to be doing and when its due... why is this guy still "teaching" MC?
Bathula is quite possibly the worst math professor I've ever encountered. He's straight off the boat from India, thus does not speak English well. His exams are very difficult, and do not reflect the problems covered in class. I remember being repulsed by his tendency to take his shoes off and walk around the classroom barefoot. Rude and unhelpful!
Bathula is a great professor. I think that most people who write crap about him are the ones who didn't get the best grades in the class. The class can be hard and frustrating, but I can still pass, and I'm only 15! He doesn't necessarily assign hw, he is very intelligent, his accent isn't one bit of a problem, he lets you do corrections on tests!!
I took him over the spring 2009 and i faild terribly He thinks hes funny He is not very helpful AT ALL i kept sending him e-mails he never wrote me back tried talking to him never really wanted to and to make matters worst he said that we could use some1 else xl that had it before and when i did in the middle of the semester said i couldntUR WARNE
he is terrible... i like math and made me hate it.. he is the worse... do not waist your time with him...!!
He's trying to fail everyone!!!
Don't ever take this professor! IS Horrible! Everyone in class failed except the one that was taking the class for second time! HE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT STUDENTS and who ever thinks that he is nice by him curving up your grades all the time is being tricked!! he is the perfect example of a RITUALIST (if you had taken SO 101 you'll know what I mean.
Don't ever take this professor! IS Horrible! Everyone in class failed except the one that was taking the class for second time! he was really hard to understand and had reallt wierd methods going about teaching he wasnt super usless but i wouldnt take him.
You can't make out a word he says, and he wouldn't make sense if you did. Least helpful person I've ever been taught by. Take Johnson at Takoma Park.
This professor is horrible. He does not care at all. He is not helpful AT ALL and doesn't even explain things fully. You have to learn from the book ON YOUR OWN if you want to pass his class. He gave the final the WEEK before finals and when I talked about this wit my other math prof. he was so surprised. He could not believe me! DONT WASTE UR TIME
This guy is the worst math teacher one can have, even worse than Ms. Umeh, and she was harder to understand than Mr. Mustache over here. I found myself having to learn most the material on my own. He kept insisting our class purchase a "big pen", and by insisting i mean badgering. Hard to understand his writing & does not have good communication skills. He often gave no warning of due dates of online quizes. And Im not to sure he ever took attendance other then the 1st day of class
This teacher is the worst. First of all his English is horrendous. He constantly talks about using a "Big" pen, and doesn't explain anything correctly. He never assigned any homework, and always talks about his car and gas. He always tells you to fail and never gives you any advice. Constantly looks down on you as if you were stupid. THE WORST!!!!!
MONSTERLY BAD of a math teacher. No skill what so ever in communicating. WASTED much time crying about how our class should buy a BIG PEN. I suggest that this clown take lessons on how to be a teacher 101. if you're expecting to learn from this guy DON'T bother. He will often go off topic and talk about how to get a green card. His grading system has no logic to it.
He is a horrible teacher. Annoying, not helpful, and cannot explain math well at all.
I had him about two years ago & based on the comments before mine, it sounds like he has not changed. Even though I passed, it was because I taught myself through the textbook. He really does look down on everyone & talks about pointless topics that have nothing to do with math. Oh & has a heavy accent. Just DON'T take his class if you want pass...
if you want to take math 160, please ignore this PROFESSOR. I don't like to called him PROFESSOR, he don't know how to teach.lowest communication i skills i have ever seen.you will learn NOTHING and GET LOWER score than others.
Learn nothing from his class, he don't know how to teach and lowest communication skills I have even seen
Very poor teacher. Came to class unprepared most days. Very unclear examples used. This was a very easy class to teach and he did not do it well. Skiped over difficult material that is crucial to move on to the next level.
Very difficult to understand & does not explain stuff well at all. You will find yourself having to learn most of the material on your own. Worst part is he rambles on and on about buying a "BIG pen", which is completely pointless! Don't take his class, avoid at all costs! Transfer if you have to. Does give a lot of take home quizes and wear plenty of cool sweaters. Flag this if you wanna but i'm only speaking the truth!!
In Hs I took pre cal and got a B+, this time around i got a C. I attended a top private school so there is no way that you can say my curriculum prior was not up to par. He is just a bad teacher.
He was not that helpful. His grading was very inconsistent. No one understood him. He only explained things if the students asked him to explain and even then people didn't understand. I highly recommend to not take this teacher.
I have been in class three weeks, and I find the professor very helpful. All of the problems and concepts are explained. We have had two reviews before the first exam.
Really good at teaching and glad I had him as a professor. If you show up to class and actually pay attention it's not hard at all. I never had to go to him for help because I understood it from the way he explained it. The study guides he gives are helpful so overall great professor
this professor is cool...is funny sometimes but is fast on notes if u are good in math this guy will help u a lot...
Good teacher, gives a lot of extra credit if you do corrections for EVERY test (up too 20 points). Highly recommended for 099
"Nice guy, horrible professor" sums him up pretty well. There is a notable culture difference. I honestly do not think it is his intention to be rude and condescending, but he very much so is. Acts fairly smug. That being said, if you speak to him about something, he will try to change. Teaches by memorization. Prepare to teach yourself.
He is nice but may unknowingly be offensive. Will answer your questions as best as he can.If you are weak in math, new to the material or are a slow learner, do not take his class. He can be inconsistent in grading. Does not explain with much clarity and accent is heavy. Teaches you to memorize rather than understand. Does not manage time well.
Good person, awful teacher. He uses the TERRIBLE textbook for this class waaaaay too much!
He is very fair on the tests that he gives if everyone does poorly he will find a way to help out your overall grade. He is a goofball when it comes to his jokes they are pretty lame but he makes them funny. Overall he is a fair professor to be honest
overall very fair teacher will help your grade if you do badly on the tests pretty much a goofball too
Chill dude, looking to help you rather than hurt you. Lame jokes but very helpful
He tries to help you but ends up being offensive more often the. Not. I took this class at PSU university Park and had to rave for medical reasons. Going through this again you realize he makes things significantly more complicated than they have to be. Straight off the boat
Prof. Alex is very fair to his students, especially, those who attend class early, regularly, follow the steps from the examples shown in class and from the Text book.
I would avoid his class. He is usually a few minutes late to class and comes unprepared and unorganized. Often has to leave class to photocopy something. His review sheets are messy and his lectures are confusing. I'm pretty good at math and his class made me feel like I was regressing instead of progressing.
I honestly thought I wasn't half bad at math until I entered this class. He makes no sense most of the time, and gets mad when you don't know the answer to his questions off the top of your head. He loves telling us that we learned all of this in 7th grade, well we are obviously in here because we cannot remember all of our 7th grade math skills.
Not the best teacher I've had but not the worst either. The main problem with this teacher is that his in class and math quizzes will be easy. However his tests are harder and sometimes will have problems that were not on his practices tests. Go to this mans office hours and he will really help you. hard to learn if you aren't good at math
Only bad thing about him is that his practice and quizzes are very simple. When you get tested, it's way harder then you'd expect. He is fair with grades though. after test #3, DO NOT SKIP. he will go over a lot of sections in the book for test 4 in a short period of time. After test 4 he will teach new things for the finals. study guides helps.
He's nice and all but he can be a bit hard to understand. The thing that saved my semester was that the test is basically the review packet. Has a bit of an accent but he can be easy-going. Reasonable guy. He likes to give second chances.
Professor Bathula struggles to keep his lectures clear. His teaching style is to solve problems on the board for the whole lecture each day and then the test questions could be off any of those problems. Pay attention as hard as it may be, even though his lectures are very boring. You will need a tutor and a lot of luck! Good luck if you take him!
Best class ever. As a professor, he's terrible. He's not clear, not helpful, and always loses track of time, but he's so sweet and his Indian accent is hilarious. He always manages to bring up his grandmother. Class was super easy, I showed up and stayed on my phone all class and passed with an A. His tests are exactly like his study guides. No hw!
The absolute WORST teacher I've had to deal with. I find Math difficult, and I need a teacher to actually teach. He doesn't understand any questions his students ask, is entirely unhelpful when trying to compromise on assignments, and likes to point out that this is 7th grade Math. Thanks, like that wasn't 10 years ago. Take if you can self-teach.
Better get a tutor if you want to pass with him. He will write all over the board in random places and he has a very thick accent. Ask for help? He won't. There is online hw and if u have a right answer, but the computer doesnt recognize it, there's no fixing it, even if you show him proof. He will admit you are right, but not fix the grade.
Good teacher. He's a nice and funny guy. His teaching style worked well with me and got me an A in all of my exams in the semester! He also gives second chances (Test Corrections) after each exam so you can get a better grade if you want. Gives good key points. Assigns a fair amount of assignments but can be done with good time management.
Class was not difficult. He always asks if people have questions, even minutes before exams, and answers them all. Textbook is optional because it is included in the mandatory online homework website. He is always in a good mood. Tests are not difficult, but homeworks are very long, be ready to work at home. Overall a good experience.
His accent takes some getting used to, but he actually makes a conscious effort to try to help you understand concepts. Also very lenient on grades, expect a large curve every exam.
Lots of homework, but the homework really helps you prepare for the tests. Sometimes hard to understand due to his accent but he tries to give you memory hints to help you and tries to break concepts down to explain them better. Overall, not bad. Just do the homework.
Lots of homework that wasn't all related to the 10 question 100 point tests. Gives a huge curve on the tests though. Like if you do corrections on your 70100 test he'll add 21 points to get you to a 91. Nice guy, but i don't think he knew that the hw wasn't directly related to the tests, gave too short amount of time to get it done.
Gives a huge amount of required homework (like 500-1000 math problems a week), 90% of which is not related to the tests he gives. He also recommends that you do problems from the textbook on top of your homework. His lectures are not very clear and very general, and then he gives questions on the test that are very complex. Would not recommend.
Covers and explains the material well. Gives "memory hints" to help you remember certain techniques. Makes complicated subject matters digestible. Gives lots of hw but they help solidify the material. Gives opportunity to correct incorrect test answers, but makes you prove you have learned it. Pretty funny and reviews thoroughly before each test.
Good professor. Knows his stuff and can teach well. If you get less than a B it is ENTIRELY your fault. Period!
Pre-calculus is pretty involved and a bad teacher can make ur experience hell. A good teacher can provide a solid foundation and prepare u for courses that follow. Bathula is this teacher. If u are truly serious about learning, this is the proff. to take math 165 with. Prepares u for success. If ur a whiny kid with no work ethic, ur fault, not his.
I have Bathula for Math080. He is hard to communicate with, especially since English doesn't seem to be his first language. When I ask a question he's not very helpful. He doesn't pay attention to students, or keep the classroom quiet. People cheat because he is ignorant of whats going on. I end up going to math lab so I don't have to deal with it.
I'm taking Bathula for Math150. I must say that I learned more from YouTube than I have from him. He knows his math, but not how to teach.
The class was difficult, partly my fault. However, Bathula is the most merciful Prof i have ever had. after every test he let us all do test corrections for an easy 25 extra points on the tests. also one time he even let us re take the exact same test. this guy cares about his students, even though our class seems hopeless at times.
He could be kind of mean if you ask a question he thinks you should know by then or when you get something wrong. Other than that, he is a really good teacher
"Nice guy, Terrible professor" can describe how he is. His teaching is very lethargic and slow and can get very boring to the point that your willingness to learn dies. You can only really learn if you really, really pay attention. He does give 15+ points if you bomb a test though. Take him if you have no other choice.
Prof Bathula was a great teacher that made Math 165 a class I enjoyed learning. Many people say he gives too much homework, but hello its math- you need to practice to succeed. However, if you just study the problems he goes over in class youll be find on the test. He puts either these same exact problems or something similar. Strongly recommend!
Great professor, would recommend to anyone who needs help with math
Great professor
The point-system of the class is tough. There are 4 tests, homework, and then your final, so if you don't do well on one, it REALLY impacts your grade. After each test, he will let you fix the ones you missed and turn it in during his office hours. You have to ask questions if you have them in this class, because it can be really confusing.
Professor Bathula cares about his students grades which is why he gives his students multiple chances to do test corrections and improve test score by atleast 15-20%. Easy exams but tough grader. Explains Math very well by making hard concepts simple. Dont expect a pleasant personality. Not encouraging when you ask a question. Lenient on attendance
Professor Bathula genuinely cares about his students performance and makes sure their efforts are adequately rewarded. Makes hard concepts easy. Generous with points. Easy exams but tough grader.
Avoid this professor. He goes by content too quickly and doesn't really explain things clearly. He can be funny, but don't take him!
Hard to learn from him, will give extra credit but because majority of class has low grades on test. You have 4 test and the rest is hmk. Good luck but would not recommend!
Would not recommend, regret taking him.
He is not a flexible professor. He is hard to understand and will not accept late work. He expects you to work around his office hours (which are very limited hours) and does not reply to your emails in a timely manner. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
the professor makes the learning interesting with a good sense of humor. He has an accent so if you don't understand him, ask for clarification. A BIC pen is recommended but not required.
This professor is not recommended. I like him as a person but he is a professor for those who REALLY have no problem taking notes and keeping up. He goes over material fairly often and does a good job explaining it. He does not give much homework and is nice. But I do not recommend him due to the fact that my entire grade depended on 2 tests.
The professor's lectures are clear and cover what he's going to test on later. But if you get a few signs wrong or miss some decimals in your answer he's going to take off points... A good professor overall, you just need to get ready to work heavily on math for a whole semester.
The class was half a semester so there was a lot of cramming involved. I didn't like how I was only graded on the first test (a week before the final exam) and the final exam. But the professor was easy to understand. Some of the practice problems were on the test and final exam. Practicing problems from the textbook and online resources helped!
This professor is the worst he need to find a new job really he doesn't know how to teach. Most of the class drops out and he gives extra credit only because everyone fails his tests. If you signed up for him drop it you will either end up dropping out or failing his class. Terrible professor.
Overall good professor. He will add 12 points to your test if you turn in corrections. Doesn't give a lot of homework. He can be confusing at times but is always available if you have questions. Gives review packets before tests. There's no quizzes, only 4 tests. I wouldn't mind taking him again even though I hate math.
Professor doesn't know how to teach. if you try to get extra points on a failing test he will take points off if the problems are not done his way. Even though there are other methods to solve math problems. I would definitely not recommend, steer clear from this professor!
Stay away from this professor, he is a nice guy but not good at teaching. If quizzes are not done his way then you will get points taken off. Doesn't explain problems in class he just does it. Isn't very good at responding to emails.
He is a good teacher. Yet he grades very harshly.
Great teacher, covers the material thoroughly and he is incredibly generous. If you show even a little bit of effort you can easily get an A. He teaches exactly what will be on the test (sometimes the exact questions). Pretty straightforward with the grading, he tells you day one how to get points and gives you plenty of chances to get all of them.
Took him for a Summer Precal class. It was fast paced and he lectured pretty good. However, if you asked a question about something you didn't understand, he wouldn' explain it thoroughly. Make sure you practice extra problems before you take the test. Test corrections will help your grade a ton and review packets are almost the same as the tests!!
He is my first college professor since I came to this country and I like his way of lecturing. Best. he goes a long way to make sure everybody gets the best scores. Thank Alex Bathula.
I took this class during the summer, if you have nothing else going on it is possible to do well. However, the course is very fast and you are expected to remember things from previous classes. The tests can be difficult, but if you use the study material, and take the time to study you will be ok. He allows test corrections!
Over all a very funny professor knows what he is doing and tries to answer all questions but his grading is tough
Prof. Bathula is a great math professor, his sound effects make math learning more bearable.
He is a good professor and does everything in his power,to help his students,he cares and is passionate in what he does, he gives students another chance .
There is a lot to cover in MATH165, make sure that you take notes and give yourself time to study for all the exams. Professor Bathula is fair, and will take time to help you IF you take time to ask him for help. Do not expect him to give you an easy A, you must put in extra hours of work. He does allow test corrections. Your grade is on you.
10 questions per test totaling 100 points. Depending on the class average, he gives extra points to students who do test corrections and meet him by a deadline. I have taken him previously and I liked him then, that's why I took him again.
Always answers questions, and always gives options to do test corrections to bring up your grade on tests which is very helpful.
He is very intelligent and hard working. Has a unique but fun sense of humor. I am a 30-year-old student with lots of life experience, and I would choose him again for future classes.
Gives past exams as practice study guides, with similar problems as the practice exam. Allows extra credit with exam corrections. Assigns one easy written project related to math for the semester. Good friends with a jogger named Jonny, usually goes on a tangent on how they jog to Dominoes on the weekends.
Great
I enjoyed Mr. Bathula. He's a good teacher and helps you to pass the class. But you MUST engage yourself and participate, I mean, you are in school.
He is a good professor with a different kind of humor. He tries to simplify as much as he can. Do not miss class because you will be lost , plus if he see that you try your best he will help you
He's very funny, makes math class easier to focus and stay awake for. Also very generous with grades and late assignments. Allows test corrections and other forms of bonus points.
Decent professor, Presents lots of examples to problems to help explain things. And provides a chance to get some extra points on test with test corrections.
It is obvious that he wants his students to succeed and actually understand the material, as well as pass. If you ask questions (which he encourages), just make sure you are very clear about what you're asking to get a straight answer, and he encourages you to use his office hours too if you still don't get it.
An enjoyable teacher that will work with you out of class time to make sure you know the material.
Easy to meet with outside class to make sure you understand the material. He will spend time to make sure you master the work.
Use other classmates to help you study.
Grades tough!!! Miss a + sign between () and will take off 3 points! Each question on exam, regardless of difficulty it's 10pts each! Gives 12-15 for test corrections. Overall, a good professor.
He is a tough grader but a great teacher!
Ended up dropping the class within the second week because he made no sense at all. He'd misunderstand perfectly clear questions and had frequently replied to a question that he had already answered that, when he clearly had not. If you want any clue on how confusing he was, when it came to the textbook he said "you don't need it but you need it."
He usually assumes you already know what the procedure is when it comes to solving a problem because he says you learned it in middle school or its in the text book. Therefore, his explanations aren't clear and it's just him solving the problem infront of you and letting you guess why or how something happened. He means well and is fair.
I would never in a million years recommend anyone to take this class with this professor. His lectures make 0 sense and he is the worst at explaining things. WORST MATH CLASS IVE EVER TAKEN WITH THE WORST PROFESSOR !!!!!! DONT TAKE HIS CLASS !!!!!!!!!
Professor Alex Bathula is a good lecturerhe listens to everyone and respects each persons point of view. However, he is organized, and quick to give grades back to you. He was intelligent, respectful to the students, interesting, and encouraged creativity. I would definitely take him again!
Worst teacher Ive ever had. Seriously doesnt know how to teach. If you care about your GPA and mental health dont take him. You will definitely regret it !!!!!
During this class i never knew what my grade was until my final grade was posted. He is very disorganized and often very confused. He gets lost when referring to the textbook and when he is trying to turn on the projection board. He took forever to cover the pre-calculus material and didn't spend enough time on the calculus topics. 2 papers 3 test.
Decent professor. I'm not good at math by any means, but I managed to get a C in his class by studying the material he passed out, as well as doing all the extra credit opportunities that were given out. If you work for your grade and are determined to pass, it shouldn't be too hard.
Terrible at explaining concepts. Uses convoluted ways to solve problems and expect students to understand immediately. Extremely condescending, "you were taught this in middle school". Grading also does not make sense, I was absent due to a medical emergency and had 30 points taken off participation due to being unable to participate while absent.
His lectures are rambling and imprecise. The work is not be challenging, but there is a major disconnect between what is covered and what is tested. The lectures are a waste of time; any material on the tests you largely have to teach yourself. Speaking of tests, on more than one occasion I have seen him refuse to correct erroneous grading. Avoid!
His availability outside of class is good. Most of the material comes from the textbook. Also does give test corrections for extra points. Some of his lectures can be confusing but he goes out of his way to re explain if you did not understand
able to do test corrections
Good review packets
Explains everything like you already know the topics. Does not explain the concepts at all. If you don't understand the "how" to a question, will simply reccomend the math center. Just shows the process, does not explain how one got to the parts of the process. If your math skills arent great or you need more help then norm, don't pick his class
WORST teacher I've ever had. Doesn't offer office hours and instead says "go to the math center" for help. Has weird methods of teaching that don't follow the book & even confuse himself. Doesn't explain anything himself and expects the book to teach for him (he only reviews). Lectures don't cover all test materials; USE REVIEW PACKETS!!!
He is amazing. He uses textbook so you would have to get it to be able to follow along. He gives extra credit test corrections but the points depends on the class average which really helps a lot. I would definitely recommend him. I took summer 1 and he was great.
Definitely would recommend buying the text book as it is nice to follow along in class and it is used a lot. He also allowed us to do test corrections which was really beneficial. His review packets were also really helpful when studying.
Cons: Tests are complex and sometimes includes things not taught in lecture. Pros: Lots of extra credit . Seriously read the syllabus and do all the problems that are examples on the test(back of syllabus). The book isnt necessary but to do the problems, just ask someone who has the book unless you want to pay.
He reads right from the text books and gives study guides that are already completed and there is a good chance that some of the information on the study guide may not appear on the acutal test. He does allow test corrections which is a good benifit and will give some extra credit opportunities.
Professor Bathula is gracious toward students who require additional aid or exceptions. However, he does not clearly plan his lectures. The majority of class time he spent working through seemingly random problems.
Professor Bathula really cares about his students passing. He explains material really well, maybe just a little too fast. He will work one on one with you if material is unclear and he offers extra credit and test corrections so there is always a way to boost your grade. He is very organized and covers all test content
Hes every good at teaching the material and gets the students to participate. Can be funny.
Professor Bathula is one of the best professor's I meet during my time taking classes at MC. He is a fair grader and he gives you the opportunity to improve your grade by doing test corrections. You also receive points for attendance and doing homework. For anyone planning to take MA120, I recommended taking it with professor Alexander Bathula.
unclear with how he teaches, Tells a lot of jokes which is not helpful. can be rude towards students at times, however, he does offer a lot of extra credit.
He gives students the key for each test, and it is very helpful.
With Professor Bathula there is a language barrier, however, because of this, you will be able to hone your independent study skills. all I can say is make sure you have a good study support system and make sure you know the material so you can pass the quarterly exams. its also entertaining that He hums a little song while teaching the class!
Extra Credit. You have to know what you are doing to pass.
Nice Professor. Gives lots of extra points.
Cons: He does not cover all the material on the tests, and he makes jokes that are disrespectful. Pros: He gives extra credit and is present mostly always. I HIGHLY recommend getting the textbook! Read through it and do the practice problems on the areas that the test review saids the test is on!!!
He is an okay teacher but I had a lot of issues with his teaching style. The tests he would give us would be very different from the review packets he told us to study. Just the way the problems we're written confused me. I'm probably going to fail the course because of it.
Personally I enjoyed the class. He's a funny guy. If you already understand the material and just need the credit then Professor Bathula is a good choice. However I would not recommend the class to anyone taking it for the first time. He has difficulty understanding why students are confused and is rarely available to help students one on one.
Professor Bathula teaches directly from the textbook. I recommend buying the textbook as the online homework and test questions are similar. He provides chances for extra credit. Test corrections are helpful. He provides a review packet for every exam except the final. If you have have the textbook and practice a lot of problems, you'll be fine.
Very good professor. Easy to understanding and offers test corrections for extra points as well as many other types of extra credit.
Alright professor. Will have to do a lot of studying outside of class. Overall not an extremely difficult class.
Pay attention, and take advantage of the extra credit he offers (you wont regret it later). Attendance is a must. The book is very helpful because he uses it all the times. But most importantly, take advantage of the extra credit and dont wait until the semester ends to do it.
Hes very off topic in his class, when you need additional help he tells you to come vist him during his office hours and gets annoyed quick with students! Hes a hard grader just do the work but I will recommend tour as well .
Great professor, not too many complaints. Its really difficult to fail this class with the extra credits, good instruction, test review packets and the way grades are weighted you would have to try to fail. Not an easy A but an easy pass.
He gives you so many chances and helps you in any way he can to make sure you pass!
The professor is funny and gives credit after every test.
He is not strict with his teaching. He makes class fun sometimes because he makes jokes here and there. The some questions come from the review packet which is good but other times it does not. Overall, a pretty good professor.
The class was taught fine but he seemed to dislike me from the start for an unknown reason
He is a good teacher and makes it clear what students need to do. He makes objects clear and grades you on what he teaches. He gives you chances to get a few points back on some of the harder tests.
Overall the class was ok. Prof Bathula was clear about expectations and what the class demanded. Exams were reflective of review packets and math XL homeworks were doable. I will say if you miss class you will struggle as attendance is vital. Very funny and nice man .
I took Math150 (Elementary Calc) with Prof Bathula and this class is not for the faint of heart if you're terrible at math like me. If you can do the practice tests before the actual test you should be golden though. You need to study for this class but theres plenty of extra credit if you really wanna turn that C into a B. Good Luck!
Professor Bathula is kind and the grading criteria is crystal clear and it is easy to tell throughout the semester how you are doing in the class. I liked professor Bathula and his many extra credit points but I would not take another math class with him because it could be hard to comprehend all the topics and the end of the semester felt rushed.
The only thing that is good about the professor is that he gives extra credit. On exams, he nitpicks over the smallest details. He never gives us good feedback, his rubrics for assignments are very vague and makes his class more confusing than need be.
I like how he's clear about the material that will be on the exams and he gave a doable amount of mathxl homework with a good amount of time to finish.
Does test corrections, however you are better of attempting to study outside of class as well. Course material can be confusing at times.
He is amazing professor. Very kind and funny. But you better know the material! Please come to class every day (even tho he gives to you 20 get out of jail free passes) he usually teaches a section every class meeting, so its best to attend and not miss anything! He does extra credit and test corrections! Very fair!
He explains things again if you ask. Textbook is required. Tests are usually almost identical to the study packets but you have to know what youre doing. He gives plenty of points back when you do test corrections. Overall, hes a decent teacher. Occasionally will make the class laugh. He gives a lot of memory hints as well.
Hes a really good teacher. He likes when you ask questions and really want to learn about the material.
Not a bad teacher overall but tends to be a pretty harsh grader. Doesn't really prepare you well for the exams. You will have a hard time if you don't remember basic math well.
make sure you come to class prepared and you have to be willing to do extra work outside of class.
He is a good professor. But you have to work hard. He always asks if you have any difficulties and is always willing to help.
Overall not a bad professor, I wish his written project was a little more clear. He is pretty clear about the material on tests and also offers generous extra credit for corrections.
Very hard but worth it
He is a very intelligent teacher and knew the material very well. But the way explained certain concepts was very hard to follow. His time management was the worst I have ever seen in my college career. But I hope he improves for future students
Mr Bathula is an excellent Math Teacher, he really explain the material. He is kind of funny but he is explains everything it give you a guide to study for every exam, really helpful. he does care about this students, strict but give you extra credit. Do not miss class besides he does give credit for attendance you will definitely learn.
Prof. Bathula is a nice professor. I really like this class. The tests are according to the material that was taught. He Gives a lot of opportunities for extra credit, and for homework he gives you a lot of opportunities to get the answer right.
Decent professor. The material can be difficult at times, but he's willing to help you if needed. His tests are similar to the review material, so that's a big plus. But his feedback on tests is sometimes vague and he takes points off over the tiniest of mistakes.
The class was somewhat difficult. The pace felt fast at times, but he offers help outside of class. I would say he is a fair grader. He awards partial credit for test questions and offers PLENTY of extra credit for test corrections and doing things like taking this survery! Very caring and knowledgable professor. He is also pretty funny.
Was able to teach the class while constantly spewing out nice jokes, which made the class more enjoyable. Too bad the work was usually hard and sometimes even confusing.
Prof. Bathula is kindhearted. He is knowledgeable and has his own way of doing things to help some students learn easier. The course is hard, but he makes it better. Tons of extra credit. Test corrections. Plenty of outside help offered. He makes jokes that help the time go by faster. I enjoyed his class.
Professor Bathula's explanations of math functions or concepts make this class enjoyable. Most of your grades revolve around the quizzes he gives, though you can always receive up to ten extra points with test corrections.
he is amazing. if you never liked math, MAKE SURE HE IS YOUR PROFESSOR!! I never understood anything until I took this course. he is great at helping you understand if you are confused
Kind professor with good jokes, but he has a very roundabout way of explaining things at times. He also tends to take points off of tests for very small mistakes (like writing the answer in the wrong format). However, he is very generous with test corrections and extra credit types of things, which is either good or bad depending on how you see it.
Not a bad professor. However, he can be very tough on literally the slightest things. If you're looking for an easy A this is not the class for you. But if you are looking to at least put in some work, you should be fine. His test are very similar to the review, and he also gives you the chance to do test corrections. Overall, the class was okay.
I took Calulus AB in high school (math181) took this class for credit. Was easy for me. But will be hard for other students. Lectures are long. Thank goodness for breaks. Ask questions, he will be confusing so study by yourself/ clear up understanding online. Will make you feel dumb whenever you talk to him.
I enjoy Prof. Bathula's class. But It's too much algebraic steps and many of the students get confused. Need more review sessions before the tests. A hard grader but let's you make up for lost points. Needs to post more content on Blackboard about the subject discussed, show problems discussed in BB.
Professor Bathula is a fine professor who can be confusing at times. However, he is always available whenever you have questions. In additional he gives a lot of extra credit opportunities.
he gives review packets and tells jokes.
The class was difficult but the professor was great. He looks for participation.
Guys you get extra credit for leaving a review for him, and I can only assume there are so many positive reviews because he likely checks them. Worst class I've ever taken in higher education. The man contradicts himself constantly, is fairly awkward during lectures, and leaves the classroom every ten minutes. Difficult learning environment.
Professor Bathula is one of those teachers that you can tell wants you to pass his class from the moment he starts teaching. He doesn't make things arbitrarily difficult. His explanations are clear and he readily answers any questions students may have. This is my second time taking pre-calculus and I wish I had him as my teacher the first time.
Overall, he is a good professor. His lectures are clear and he always gives students the opportunity to ask questions. On the other hand, what bothers me about him is that he's the type of professor to answer your question with a smart remark. He will literally say "I don't bite" but then he bites, so to speak. Besides that he's tolerable.
Worried about taking this class but Prof. Bathula made it a breeze. Not much homework, but must follow the textbook and online program to reinforce the lesson. He's funny and caring. Even with the difficulty with school closures (COVID19), ZOOM classes were still vital and he continued to teach, giving 100% as if he was in the classroom.
Solid class overall. He goes through the material at a slow pace so you can understand it better. While the class isn't very structured, he does provide very helpful review guides for the tests. He also gives out a ton of extra credit opportunities which is nice.
His teaching style is not for me, but he really does care that his students do well in his class. Getting the textbook for 165 is very helpful because he teaches off of it during lecture. I wish he wouldnt respond to questions in a sarcastic manner or with a smart remark, because it makes students less willing to ask questions or respond to him
Honestly, Professor Bathula is very generous with extra credit. His tests are basically the study guides he gives you so nothing is a surprise. If you need help or have any questions, he is always available during his office hours. Lectures are okay but like with any class you would have to study the material yourself.
Hes a good teacher, yet he goes of on tangents which makes kind of hard to keep up with the lesson. If you understand math you can pass the class but I could see how this could be a hard class to get though.
Takes time explaining concepts.
Prof Alex is a good teacher , he uses the textbook heavily to teach so if you pretty much go over the chapters after the lecture you are pretty much caught up.
He very helpful! He cares about your grade.
He gives good feedback. available after class for help
the professor gives a lot of assignments he is an amazing professor. he takes time to explain and make students involve is one of the best professor i have ever had
Very good professor, he will give you many opportunities to maintain a good grade.
Easy but goes on tangents
He's an easy teacher, but he's been harsh on students during this pandemic. He takes attendance, which no other teacher does because they understand the situations of students. He will try to blame students for connections messing up on zoom. Schedule his class for where you'll be able to pay full attention because he's very harsh.
He is a teacher that he teaches formula.
10/10
He is a good teacher. he reviews many times until all of the students underestand.
as a person who hates the thought of math, he made the subject very enjoyable. He teaches the material in a slow way and shows us the proper way and the shortcut way to solve them. he reads your emails but doesn't respond to them, so if you have any questions ask him before class starts. tests are open note due to remote learning. great professor!
Best professor ever!!!! He made this semester so stress free couldnt have asked for a better professor he is very understanding and he always makes time to help his students. I would definitely take his class again!!!
He teaches out of the textbook which may not be helpful for everyone but if you are a student who can learn straight out of the textbook then this is the teacher for you.
easy , but you need to make your 20 hws. he really makes sure that everyone understand the class
Heres My reason for why hes a 5: Hes teaches pretty well, its not the best but it gets to what you need for the quizzes and homework. Hes fair The reason Ill never take him or why you shouldnt and why the class was difficult: He can be pretty mean and doesnt always try to understanding. If youre not on your game you will fail.
Not very tech savy!
Overall an instructor who cares for you & your success.
He give time to do work which is good and he'll go over the problem in book if you don't understand but it hard to understand him .
.Not really accessible outside of class, he never replied to my emails.
He does go over questions in class that you are confused on, but lecture sometimes can be unclear, I would say for online classes he's not the best, but he is trying and makes the effort! Definitely finessed my way through this class.
Seemed like he went over certain things too much and other things not enough.
you will need a textbook but he is easy
Due to COVID, this class ended up being online, and Prof was not prepared to instruct an online couse. I think MC is also to blame for Prof's bad rating. He might be an ok prof in class, but MC needs to teach all profs about blackboard.
He is a good teacher: we can ask as many questions as we want and he goes over it as many times as we want until we understand. He also does a brief review of the previous course at the beginning of each class. Tests are open notes.
Hes fine. The use of zoom and technology has made things much harder for site but hes trying to navigate it which is more than I can say for other professors. Would ask him questions and felt like he was annoyed that I asked even though he always asks us if we have questions. Overall, its up to you to make sure you pass.
Easy A? take this class. Because of covid the professor seemed to be on edge half of the time. He did not know how to maneuver zoom and wouldn't let students in class. He at times would reply to students sarcastic manner. Teaching style is going off on tangents and messy. He's nice tho. Wiley, don't buy it. It's a class that doesn't add stress.
Good teacher, not very active on email or blackboard, get a lot of time on assignemnts.
Very impatient and struggles with technology. Tends to waste time with tech and answers students' questions with another question. Extremely rude and disrespectful. You're going to have to teach yourself the material because he will refuse to. If you miss anything, it's your problem, he will not help even if you're having issues with tech.
Professor Bathula might be an amazing choice if you're able to take in person classes with him. The pandemic and having to teach through zoom were a bit of a set back for this class. He is a great teaching when talking about the lecture of math itself and gave students easy tests with extra time to do it and possibility of consultation.
I believe his classes would be much better in person than through zoom because it is hard to understand and absorb all the content through online classes. Specially math. It was hard having to it online since the professor had a hard time with technology sometimes, but he is a good teacher overall
Very difficult to learn from, but is more than willing to answers questions at least.
He spends a huge chunk of class time doing attendance instead of teaching. Told us to get wiley plus access code, but we only ever used it once. No graded hw. Barely any tests or quizzes either. The class is an easy A, but you don't learn anything.
Prof. Bathula is a very nice, understanding and patient with all the students in the class. That being said, the online class could easily get sidetracked into a different conversation. Would of been easier to learn a few more things from him in-person. Very easy A and he is available outside of class.
Professor Bathula isn't the best virtual teacher. He's still trying to get used to zoom and all this new technology. I would recommend to communicate with classmates throughout the semester because he's very unclear with almost everything. Don't pay for wileyplus and get the textbook free online. It's an easy A but don't stress at all.
This professor is a nice guy. BUT takes 15 minute breaks every single class. Resulting in the class falling very far behind. We had to learn 3 chapters of new material the last week of classes before the exam. He gives extra credit points for reviewing him on here, take that as you will. I did fine because I understand math, but good luck if u dont
Doesnt overload on assignments , if you dont have a lot of time on your hands this is the professor for you trust me .
Easy A. He's a good professor, doesn't assign a lot of work but if you don't show up to class you will get lost. Get the textbook on WileyPlus, it will help a lot to follow up with what he's teaching in class.
Hes pretty understanding with work and stuff. He gives you enough time to take tests . There isnt a lot of tests and assignments which is nice. If you ask questions , he will make sure to explain in detail. I would definitely take him again
He a good professor
As long as you attend the lecture, you will learn the material. He goes over everything step by step to make sure you know what to do.
Nice, good professor and very fair. His study guides for tests were extremely helpful! I would definitely take him again.
Professor Bathula is conceited, rude, bad with technology and snappy. He repeatedly demands class participation, and shames people who give wrong answers. He refuses to make students lives easier with posts on blackboard. However he can be lenient and understanding with late work and grades. Exam questions were sent out a night in advance, made ez.
Attendance matters, it's part of your grade. He's a nice professor but he expects participation and can be kind of impatient when he asks a question. Homework is done through another website. Teaches right from the textbook but does a few examples for each topic he teaches.
Very helpful
Hes a very nice professor, he gives a second chance when needed but only if you do your part by attending class.
insiprational
professor Bathula's expertise is to introduce memory hint which makes the concepts easier for the student to understand and recall. He loves his students and wants them to be successful. Just show up in class , ask for help when you need it and follow his instructions and you will do very well in the class. I would definitely recommend his class.
It's a very structured course and he teachings through the topics in detail.
Professor Bathula, makes sure you get multiple attempts for your homework which makes it better and not overwhelming. Attendance is required so please attend! He also makes sure to ask if we understand and also for us to receive extra credit! Also, his lectures are easy to follow when it comes to being in class.
He's great professor!!!! he will give you attempts on quizzes and so many attempts on hw too!!! he's understandable , cares about your grade , he will go over the materials if you don't understand and his lecture are simple to follow!!! if he teaches all the math course i would take him without thinking twice!!!!
He is a very nice man. He is very understanding when it comes to tests because he gives you two attempts for every test. He is really good at explaining the work but might get a bit frustrated when students aren't participating. Overall if you pay attention, study and do your work, you will do fine.
This Professor does not fair well with technology. His class isn't difficult and the grading criteria is clear but he is arrogant and can be incredibly condescending in response to student questions/issues/answers. Participation matters.
Great professor prepares students well for tests.
The class isn't too difficult. Make sure to pay attention in class and take notes or you'll fall behind (especially if you're online). Exams are straightforward, but homework can be kind of difficult. He is a really kind and understanding professor, and if you need more clarification, he's willing to go more into depth about a topic.
Good class
Good class, not difficult
Professor is very understanding. You show up and listen, ask questions, you will get a good grade.
I felt really doped after reading the good reviews on him. He gets super snappy when answering student's questions. He assigned the last 9 homework's, ten days before the final exam so he doesn't have good time management skills. He took long breaks in between class. I am not a natural in math, so I did have some difficulty. never again.
Awful. I have no idea how he has so many good reviews. I chose him since he had semi-good ratings, don't make the same mistake as me. His lectures never make sense and half the time you have to teach yourself anything he goes over in class. He's rude when answering questions and not understanding at all. Save your time and money.
Very understanding professor! He takes time to explain the course and makes it easy to understand. Just work on his review packets and you will get great grade.
He was a good professor, he stopped to answer questions and he went over everything a lot. I made stupid mistakes on test thats why my grade isn't great but I would take it again. He would give extra credit if everyone is the class perform poorly on test.
By far the best professor I had for math. If you pay attention to the lectures and look at the reviews he gives you you will easily pass this class. But you have to put in the effort. He goes over the topics very clearly and slow and never be afraid to ask questions. Make sure to keep up with the homeworks as well because he does not bend due dates
Professor Bathula requires excellence--as he should. He helped me to understand life better through Statistics. THANK YOU PROFESSOR!
He will not move on until someone participates, but if you answer wrong he will be rude and condescending about it. This results in people not wanting to participate, so we all wait silently until someone raises their hand to answer his question. I would not take him again because of this. He also was not timely with assigning the homework.
Ignore the bad reviews,Prof Bathula is one of my favorite math teachers yet. I went from almost failing AP stat in hs to getting over 100 in his class. If you really want to learn sit in the front, ask questions, and your guaranteed to get an A let alone pass. There are a few HWs there and there but they are simple. He's also v funny and cares alot.
do not!! hw grades are based on accuracy which destroyed my grade! roughly go through problems
Does not communicate well whatsoever, and shows a lack of care for struggling students. Don't expect help if you're behind at any point. I also genuinely think some of these 5-star ratings are bots/fakes due to multiple 5-star ratings being posted on the same days within suspicious proximity. Anywho check for patterns and don't get fooled.
Do not take this class with this professor unless you are proficient in Statistics, have already take a Statistics class before, or are willing to teach yourself the material. My classmates and I struggled throughout the duration of this course and were demeaned by the professor whenever we brought up questions. He was rude and unkind to many of us
Would not take again
Show your work.
He is an excellent professor who cares deeply about his students. He is a very patience person that is very knowledgeable about Statistics. He gives out pre- exam packets to help us with our tests. Study them, they are your exam. He reviews everything before each exam. BE READY TO STUDY A LOT. This is a very difficult course.
The professor is okay he is really into the students and cares about the class but this class work is really hard and it is a lot of studying that you have to do in order to pass
Professor Bathula expects a lot, but if you put in the work, you'll learn a ton. His review packets are crucial - study them thoroughly. Unstuck Study AI can be a great supplementary tool for exam prep. Overall, challenging but rewarding.
He mumbles every lesson to the point where you only can hear half off the lesson, he insists on using Statkey but doesn't seem to realize when you generate a set of numbers you might get a different set of numbers, but his homework is pretty easy and his study guides are pretty in depth, the lessons themselves suck but the work isn't too bad.
his lectures aren't great, but he honestly just goes off of the textbook. practice the problems and you'll be fine. his study guides have everything that you need. his attendance is mandatory he gives you 10 total chances to be late or absent, if you're over 10 you fail. I would take him again honestly.
Basically a GPA booster. I missed a lot of classes, which isn't smart because he deducts 5 points each class you're absent or late to no matter what excuse; and skipped a few HWs. However, he offers at 15-20 points extra credit after test corrections because a lot of people don't do well. Just memorize the study guide and you'll get an easy A.
Do not take this professor if you have not taken a stats class before. This professor is not the greatest at teaching the material, he takes an hour and 15 minutes to go through a single problem, jumping from page to page in such a confusing manor. He does give points back on tests which is amazing. However, I have faced many issues with the class.
Genuinely one of the worst professors I've ever had in my life. I took AP calculus in high school and it was very easy to grasp. I thought picking it back up would be easy. I was wrong. Professor Bathula over complicates all of the steps, and simply does not teach clearly and concisely. DO NOT listen to any of the okay reviews.
Do not under any circumstances take any class with this professor. He does not teach, and on tests, if you use a method different from what he would use, you don't get the point even if the answer is correct. He spent most of my class talking about random topics, including politics and religion. Then he gives you an attitude if you ask a question.
PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE EVEN THINK ABOUT TAKING HIM! Hello all I am a current student and I took this class with him for math. If you wanna join a class where he belittles you, makes racism jokes, treats women like trash and calls you “dumb” DO NOT I have reported this teacher so many times cause how he treats his students no one did not care.
I highly recommend to not take this class. The class is 80% non math related 20% focused on math. He is a very tough grader and does not do a thorough job of explaining class material. Beware of triggering comments made by him.
He is straight up not a good professor. Very rude. Calls you names. Insults you.
Hello, I'm a current student who took his math class and felt compelled to share my experience: he often belittles students, makes inappropriate jokes, and shows clear disrespect toward women. He has even called students “dumb” in class. I've reported his behavior multiple times, but sadly, nothing has been done about it.
Very rude and unprofessional towards the students, called us names in class and was very strict
Don't waste your money on this guy. He spent class time discouraging students, saying things like If you didn't do well on a test, you shouldn't be a math major, and joked that we should consider becoming plumbers. He doesn't know how to teach complex ideas to his students and will explain the easiest principles, leaving the rest as homework.
This professor really likes making jokes about two lovers for some reason, but he isn't a good professor. He gives students an attitude. and gets impatient when we ask questions. One thing is for sure: take your own time to learn everything. Write down the stuff he has on the board and go to tutoring. (He lets you correct exams)
Good teacher to have as a summer class
Know how to use a TI-84 calculator because he's too impatient to teach you. He's not so bad though he's decent at teaching the concepts. The STUDY GUIDES he gives are important to study it greatly helps with the quizzes given every about 4 weeks. You can tell he wants his students to pass. Just put in the work.
If I could, I'd give this professor -5 stars. Worst math teacher ever. He doesn't understand students' questions and just repeats the same thing again. I learned everything by myself because his class was totally useless. A complete waste of time. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS WITH HIM...
He tends to ramble on, bounce back and fourth, and get off topic easily, but you can tell he wants his students to succeed. Listening to him is optional, you can get a good grade by just studying the test reviews because they are the exact same as the real tests. He also always has tests corrections if you need it.
If you want to pass, dont take this class. this was the single worst class i have ever taken, me and a couple classmates are looking to complain with the school, AVOID HIM AT ALL COST. he cannot teach to save his life, he then proceeds to complain when students dont do well. The quizzes are ridiculously difficult. its crazy he hasnt been fired yet.
I wouldn't take Proffesor Bathula's class again if it meant I could save world hunger. Practice tests/reviews do not resemble anything close to the test. Lectures are useless, and all he does is yap with no meaningful help. Intimidates and yells at students. He gives you zero credit for right answers cause you wrote something he didn't like.
He is an amazing prof! I dont get why he got such a low score. He is really clear on his lessons and cares about his students. He always gave us chances to imppove our grades
