alex is o.k but his classes can be boring. Could put you to sleep. However, he knows what he is talking about. Exams are a different matter though. Hard, hard hard.

Pay attention, ask questions, and don't BS about non-anatomy subjects during lab and you should do fine. Check out his website too.

The best teacher I EVER had.I took the hybrid-his narrated powerpoints for the online folks were fab, funny and entertaining!He responds to email FAST and is always willing to help.Warning- his exams are not simple recall, they are critical thinking and analysis.If you do the practice questions, you will do well.I am almost sad the class is over!

very knowledgeable, as long as you really study and attend lecture and lab and serious about the class you should do fine. a lot of info for alloted time, so forget any life you may have had prior to.

Great teacher. Funny, interactive with the class. He knows his stuff and explains it well. Test are challenging, but he gives great notes to help narrow the focus for studying. Attending lecture and putting forth an effort is required.

Awesome professor. Articulate, patient, funny and very helpful. I highly recommend him. PS--read his notes. There are tons of opportunities to rack up points in this class but be prepared to do the work.

Biology is now my favorite subject!! This teacher is great! He keeps you entertained while teaching. You can really tell he loves his job. And I guess he's pretty cute too.

he is such a great professor. he helps you out with everything, and makes everything easy to understand. Even the tests are not that difficult, he is very fair and very helpful. I really wish all professors are like him. He made me realize that Biology is fun after all.

This professor is GREAT!!! I had to retake this class due to a horrible professor last semester. Mr.Imholtz gets you interested on what your learning and explains it in a way that you will understand. This class does require ALOT of studying,but all bio.2070 classes due. he's the best you can get!!!

Great professor.Easy going,very helpful both in lecture and lab. Alway read and print out his lecture prior to class. His exams are on exactly what he teaches and they come straight from his powerpoint notes. Take him he's the best A&P teacher ever!

Quality Education is all I could say about Prof. Imholtz. He is the best in PGCC. I've been in PGCC for the past two years and hands down he is the best! He loves what he does. You have to study hard and attend his lectures. His powerpoint slides are very helpful. I have no more words except to say that he is simply perfect!

He is by far one of the best teachers at PGCC. His lectures are the best and easy to understand and his analogies are great. He helps us out during lab and recitation and helps you come to an answer. Funny and easy going. You must study hard and those complaining probably didn't! I fully recommend taking him!

The best Professor....if you did not like Bio before his class you will love it after...you will have to study and know your stuff but he will make sure you know your stuff after taking his class. I enjoyed the class even taking it during the summer which is no easy task

I took Professor Imholtz for BIO 2050 & 2060. He is an awesome teacher. He makes sure that you understand the material and he will answers your questions in class or via e-mail. You have to STUDY, STUDY, STUDY because his exams are not easy. You will use critical thinking on his exams.

I love Professor Imholtz. He is awesome! He is a very thorough teacher and you will learn a lot in his class. Very approchable. I love the way he incorporates humor into the lecture so his class is not boring. You have to STUDY for his tests though; dont think you can browse over your notes and do well in his class.

He is very UNIQUE. He is fun BUT he makes sure you LEARN. By challenging you to the extreme where you must know EVERYTHING!I would suggest to take his class by itself in the semester. Otherwise you will find yourself struggling. He wants you to know every single detail. It can be overwhelming. If you study your heart out you will probably get an A.

The best professor I have had. He begins explaining from very simple until the more complex, so it’s important to follow him step by step. The only health science professor who manage physic, ma thematic and biology in one course, really impressed. When you’re in track the tests turn easy.

Excellent instructor with a passion for teaching and for the material he presents. Very approachable and patient. He expects students to be engaged in the class and in the learning process. If you slack, are lazy or have no motivation of your own or if you are looking for an "easy A" look else where. He demands and deserves more from you.

Please take advantage of his knowledge. I would like anyone who care for me at a hospital to take his course. Although if you are taking it just for your personal knowledge and you are not familiar with the medical terms I advise you don't take his class. Choose another professor! His test are hard because he covers every single detail.He'll help!

Tighten your belt fully when in this class, even though he teaches well, you really, really need to know your materials deeply to pass his exams. His questions are deeper than you think

He is simply the best! He breaks the hard stuff so that it will adhere to your long term memory. I accidentally dropped from his class and felt like as if I dropped from all my classes. They were able to fix this issue for me and I was back in his class and was so happy because his class was highly informative and exciting!

Imholtz is the best professor I've ever taken and I'm taking his class as a postbacc. He is extremely dedicated and knowledgable! He is always willing to explain things over and over again to you until you understand it. His exams are straight from lecture - don't need the book at all. Lab manual is your life so flashcard it out. Thank me later.

He is the best biology professor ever. If you go to his class, come to his office hours. I was at every single one and you can tell by my grade. Bug him you will need it.

I started out with a C in the class. Went to him and he told me exactly what to do, and I ended up with an A. The powerpoints, lab manual, and lecture notes are all you need for the class - no textbook. Memorize, listen to his tutorials online, and take ALL of his practice exams (lab&lecture). Best professor I've ever had!

THE BEST TEACHER EVER !!!!!!!! The only teacher beside Prof Zeigler I would recommend for BIO 2050 or 2060. You do not need a book just go off his notes and power points. You have to study and show up to class . His website has great videos that break down everything . I loved this class . I just WISHED he taught Micro .

He is a really good professor. He loves his work, make sure you do well on the exams because that's the only grades you get. He works with you as long you need help. His exams are cut and dry, if you went to lecture and studied his notes you'll do fine. The only way you fail is if you don't study.

Just take his lecture notes and do his practice exams and you should never get less than an 85 on anything. he explains things so easily.

Professor A has to be one of the best professors at PGCC, his enthusiasm during lectures and lab keeps you motivated to do better. He will help you with anything you don't understand. Also if you just listen to his narrated lectures, do the practice exams for both lab & lecture ,print out the lecture notes off his website, you will be sure to pass.

Professor Imholtz easily one of the best professors to take for anatomy. While I didn't get an A or B (this was my fault due to laziness and not studying enough) his lectures are online if you miss class, he kept me interested in the subject, and he made everything easier to understand. Lecture and lab went by fairly quick. An A with effort!!!

Out of all my years in school, Professor Imholtz is by far the best most amazing teacher I have ever taken. He is so compassionate about his work and his students. If you need help JUST ASK! He will explain it a trillion times and give you different methods to understand the material. You do have to work, but it is FUN! I can go on and on!

Anatomy is a hard class, but with Imholtz it's bearable. He breaks everything down, and is such a fun teacher. I knew I choose a good professor when this man jumped on the table on the first day of class haha. But seriously, get ready to study like hell. He gives extra credit if the class asks so... ASK. He also wrote the anatomy book so smart man.

A&P in itself is hard; it is all a memory game and making associations. The professor lectures with mostly pictures and fun examples that can easily be remembered. After talking with many peers with other professors, they didn't enjoy there class as much as the students in mine did. He is a quirky and caring professor who tries to ake the material

He's a great professor. Made learning A&P easier. Listening to his lectures itself will help you a lot on the tests. He doesn't have study guides, but he has chapter summaries, and a website for what you need to know. You don't need the textbook but you will need the lab manual. Literally the perfect teacher 10/10 would recommend.

Really cool examples and analogies used to help explain otherwise complicated concepts. But it still requires real work to earn an A. You NEEEEED to pay attention in the lectures b/c he doesn't use the text, the Power Points serve only as a guide. If by some miracle you get into his class before its full, don't waste the opportunity. Great Prof.

Text book are just for lab not lecture he doesnt require u to get a text book for lecture class he is like the best professor ever nothing can replace him he lectures are very understandable he even comes up with funny ways to help u understand he makes u want to learn even come to school best professor ever BEST!!!!!!!!!

I don't know about you but classes like anatomy could bore you. Not with Prof. Imholtz. The constant jokes will keep that head up from the desk like a cup of coffee. However it is not only the jokes that you will love about him, but it is his teaching strategy. Analogies, mnemonics, etc. are a few strategies he uses to help students. Thank you Sir.

I want to start off by saying Professor Imholtz for Fall Semester 2020 was amazing! His class was really easy as long as you watch all lecture&lab videos. Take notes on all videos, all of the material will be on the exam! GIVES EC!!He is really nice and accepts late work as long as you send him a email. I really wish I could take him for BIO2060 :(

The only way you can fail his class is if you don't watch his videos. You do not even have to come to class; if you have questions go to his office hours. This class was a breeze fully online! Take notes on the videos you'll be fine very easy. You dont really need the lecture textbook, just the lab manual. I only used the text book for lec 1 time.

He is amazing! Easy class as long as you stay on top of his works. Very understanding, Gives a lot of extra credit! Hopefully he teaches A&P 2! WATCH THE VIDEOS AND YOU WILL PASS!! This class can be intimidating at first but once you get the hang of it, it becomes easy. take notes!!

I was scared to take A&P 1 because it was an online class, but if you have to take A&P 1, I recommend Professor Imholtz. He truly cares about his students and gives extra credit! Anatomy is a hard class but watch the videos and do the textbook reading and youll do fine! He is literally the greatest bio teacher at PGCC.

I was SCARED to take A&P. You hear a lot of stories about how hard these classes are. Prof Imholtz made this class interesting and I loved that. I enjoyed doing the pictures for homework. it helped when it came to studying for quizzes and exams. I definitely recommend Prof Imholtz. If I could take him for A&P I would.

Online with Mr. Imholtz, the greatest experience I have had thus far. very prompt with email responses, reliable and teaching method is effective. meetings daily, very accommodating. lecture videos are engaging, funny and creative. Hes very organized. The class is hard, but he really breaks it down for you to understand. He has a lot of extra credit quizzes, so do them all. The exams are very hard, but you can do well if you study. He makes lecture videos for each section of the class and they are very detailed. Great teacher! he knows his stuff.

Prof. Imholtz was an amazing teacher! I took him for A&P 1 and the entire class was online. He gives TONS of extra credit that will help you out and as long as you are making an effort and in constant communication he will do what he can to help. It was a very pleasant way to enter into the anatomy world and I would recommend him to anyone.

he was funny. you didn't have to attend virtual meetings but he was available if you needed him. his exam are hard IF.. you dont study i enjoyed the drawing assignments in this class and he was easy to get in contact with. you will need the textbook but you can find it online. youll pass if you study hes not as hard.

Professor Imholtz is an amazing professor. The class is online with weekly lecture and lab videos. He gives extra credit within the videos so you have to watch and pay attention. The lab quizzes were more so memorization of body parts which is hard if you don't study but overall he wants his students to pass, and he responds quick to emails.

This class is test heavy! You really need to study for the class! I recommend using Quizlet to study pictures from class notes in order prepare for exams. Professor likes to crack jokes every so often, making the class entertaining and more memorable. They are a fun professor. Make sure to do the extra credit, you will need it!

To study for this class requires a lot of focus and 0 distractions! He's a great professor who made learning A&P fun but to study, utilize the lab manual, make flashcards, go over the slides, and definitely watch the videos he post because those help way more and breakdown what's being taught & for lectures everything is in the notes and videos.

Okay, I am not going to lie and say I did not struggle at the beginning of his classes but I got the hang of his teaching style. He posts all his lectures and labs on youtube and gives extra credit through there so make sure you do those because THEY COUNT! Study all you can, it counts. He makes his lectures and labs digestible and understandable.

Hands down the best professor PGCC has to offer. All labs and parts of lecture come with videos you can review. Very funny and makes learning exciting. Gives you all the materials you need to succeed.

Hands down the best professor for BIO2050! If I could take his class for 2060 I would. You have to apply yourself no doubt, but all the info you need he provides. A&P is not an easy topic in general but Professor Imholtz made it so much fun to learn.

BIO 2060 is an intense course, but with Prof. Imholtz, it is very possible to achieve. You can't fail this class because he provides you with all the information you will need to succeed in his very detailed lab and lecture videos. In class, he answers all questions without rushing you. I wish he taught Micro, but he doesn't. Highly recommended.
