This professor cares more about proofs than actually solving problems, which sometimes makes it difficult for students to really do the load of hw given. However, he does simplify topics which is helpful. Overall, a nice guy and a fair professor.

He's pretty straight forward. Do your hw, and understand the questions-all hw is due before each exam. Easy 10%. There is 5 total exams. He drops 1 if attendance is good (x<=3). His exams are somewhat like his reviews. They're either 10 or 7 questions on each exam, there is no extra credit if you don't ask for it. Everything prepares you for final.

This Professor is hilarious and is very helpful. All you need is to do the home works, pay attention in class and ask any questions if you don't understand right away. Sometimes he can be sort of boring because he goes deep into proofs, but other than that he's really helpful. Take him but do your part too!

Professor Rozenblyum is a great professor. He makes sure you understand what his doing. He closely pay attention on your questions and answer them in the most understanding way. This is a very knowledgeable professor who has a very nice way of teaching. You'll learn a lot from him, just excuse his accent. Also expect to do a lots of homework.

I currently Professor Rozenblyum for math right now and hes probably hands down one of the best math teachers Ive ever had. Professor Alexander Rozenblyum is very intelligent and experienced. He explains complex math problems to almost like 1+1 and takes his time to show each step of the way to solve the problem even though there is a lot of material to cover. He respects his students as long as you respect him. He got jokes when the class seems slow. Great professor!

Best math professor in my life. I like his teaching style, he gives basic rules of every chapter. He knows which rules you can't understand because he has experience of 17 years. 4 exam(60%), final(30%), HW(10%).If your attendance is good, he will count 3 exam which are you got highest score. Best professor, his teaching style is very nice and useful. I want to take him again. I got an A. but for an A you have to study cz this is math, if you doing well its mean 100/100, otherwise 0/100. But if you're get wrong answer and you did right formula, he will give you percial credit.

Professor Rozenblyum is an amazing Professor. He issues weekly HW assignments from Webwork in which he models how to answer the questions. He is open to questions and is very helpful during office hours. 4 exams are given (the lowest grade is not dropped). He is very fair, flexible, and understanding. If you want to do well you have to study.

The professor isn't difficult. His way of teaching was easy for me to comprehend, and if you had any questions(even if they're basic) he goes over it and explains so you understand. Taking precalc rn for the summer. It is intense but this is the best prof for the class. Unlike others, he wants you to understand, and to master the topics like him. His way of teaching is unique, he does a short background. and we do hw problems that are just like the exams. He isn't rude, and you can ask anything. The best guy! gonna miss

He's a great professor and one of the few that can teach. I remember he wanted us to do well, and took his time staying after class and explaining every problem. I would take his class if you have a strong math background. The only reason I failed was bc no calc was allowed and I'm bad at arithmetic! Other than he's a kind person who gives review.

I took him this spring semester and I agree with the grade I got. He's very nice and is willing to help you understand if you don't understand. I loved that he took his time if you didn't get something. But he definitely is fast paced, so beware of that. The tests are a bit more difficult than the homework, but studying pays off well. Amazing Professor. I am a student from ccny and took his calc 1 class for summer (4-week). This class was easy compared to what is given by the ccny math department. Even for a cramped up course, this will be easy if you study and pay attention.
