She is so sweet and comprehensible! Not that much work and makes things easier for those who are willing to work with her.

A great teacher. Teaches with clarity and interact with the students. Very helpful. I am taking her for 1102. Its hard work, but its worth the grade.

Prof. Alessandri is very nice and well prepared. She gives ample time to turn in assignments and the tests are very easy... if you read the material covered. She makes the class enjoyable and does an excellent job in making it interesting. She goes over EVERYTHING! And is easy to talk to if you are having trouble. TAKE HER!

Prof. A is great!! She is very well prepared and is very understanding and helpful when when solicited. Sounds like whom ever it is that is using such negative comments about her is very bitter. If they dont like her its ok. We are entitled to our own opinion about someone or something. But you should be more specific about what is so bad about her

She made class totally fun and was extremely nice and helpful. Feel free to ask her anything because she will definitely answer your questions without a problem. Always in a good mood! She made things clear and she would hand out instructions to everything anyway. Her quizzes were SUPER easy like 15 questions straight out of a website she gives you

1101 was an interesting class i always lookd fwrd to it. I have already registered w/ prof. A for the fall for 1102.. Shes overall great. I never witnessed the horrible side in her the person below is talking about. I wonder how true it is.

I enjoyed her class. It was easy. Tests related to what she assigned you, nothing too hard. Easy if you read the material. She's nice, funny and helpful. I would most certainly take her class again.

Main point, this class is easy. It operates very much like a middle school class. Read some stories, do some creative assignment, group presentations, answer questions from stories, write the occasional essay. We also had to maintain a weekly blog. The professor wasn't bad, but this just wasnt my favorite type of class. You have to be too involved.

She was one of the best teachers I have ever had. Beyond kind and understanding. Very helpful. It was a really fun class - many class "discussions" and silly stories. Yes, there's work and we do use our books; but she makes it really fun. Not boring at all. If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask her. She won't bite!

This was a very straight forward class. Writing about food made it easier in my opionion, rather than plain english. She was very quick to answer emails and provided samples of what type of work she expected. Do all discussions and assignments and it is an easy "A."

She is an EXCELLENT teacher. I am returning to school after so many years,so I was very nervous. She is very patient and understanding. I thank my God for her gift of teaching. Believe in my word, she is an AWESOME teacher. Thank you professor.

She is very helpful and overall the class is fairly easy. As long as you do the work and show some effort you will pass this class.

She is very nice and her assignments arent hard just read the book she assigns and write the essays.

(Online class, Food Writing) I can understand those who didn't enjoy the class or do well, it required alot of time and thought. Ms. A. responds to emails and discussions and encourages participation. Def. helped me be a better writer. Challenging but fun.

I was so surprised by how much I enjoyed this class. I am not the best in English, but I did all the assignments and got an A. The tests and quizzes aren't hard at all and she is reasonable with grading the essays.

easy A make sure you do your discussions on time and the quizzes and essays are easy topics. for my first online course it was really good plus its fully online never need to go to class!!

I received an A in this class and did not find it hard at all. I took it fully online. Make sure you do all discussions and watch grammar and punctuation before you post, she looks at that. Very nice teacher, work hard and you will receive an A too. All papers graded through Turn It In so watch what you write.

I HATE writing. I was dreading this class and I whined and complained through the entire semester. This was also the first college class I have EVER taken. I took it online and the professor was constantly emailing me and checking on me. She did everything but hold my hand through each paper. I am so thankful for her. I got an A.

Great Professor Took her online class & i enjoyed & learned a lot from other students because we had discussions and i enjoyed reading and replying to other students,its sort of like face book students put there deepest darkest secrets in the there discussions & this professor also had us read a book it was like a comic books so it was much easier.

She is the best English Professor. Just apply yourself and you would do fine. She replies quick to emails. Her quizzes are like extra credit (unlimited attempts). I took 6 classes this semester and I got an A.

very good helpful teacher that cares about her class. All there is to do is readings, discussions, and group work but it all goes smoothly. There's one powerpoint project and a couple essays but thats to be expected. Overall easy class and an easy A with a nice teacher.

Professor Alessandri is the best English professor I have ever come across. Not only is her class exceptionally simple to follow and understand-- she teaches from the heart and really tried engaging her students in the lessons. She completely changed the way I read & write and really helped me find my voice in writing. I absolutely adore her!

The class I took had a theme, so our "textbooks" were the Hunger Games trilogy. Random classwork assignments, nothing big, maybe 3 in a semester. 3 tests and 4 essays, some quizzes. She is very clear, fun, and super helpful. All she wants is for the class to engage in discussions about the book. She wants you to pass so don't worry!

Prof. Alessandri is a wonderful teacher. She is very passionate about what she does and wants all her students to pass. Don't be lazy this class does require work. But overall this class was fun.

This professor is very good for this class. The one I took was a blended, which was very simple to work online and in the room. She is very passionate about her class and the subject she teaches. The class is overall easy besides the long reading, the essays and the research paper. She expects her students to READ, so take the reading seriously.

Prof. Alessandri was super nice . She actually TO nice. Super lenient with assignment due dates very understanding and she really loves writing so reads through EVERYTHING so trying to BS a story won't work. She sees an author in everyone so even if you suck a writing she'll make you better. There no test just stories,poems etc.

Professor Alessandri is a really great professor. Her assignments are legit and she really cares about her students and the subject itself. It was a pleasure being in her class. She is very good at motivating students. Make sure to stay on top of her assignments. Definitely recommend!

I love this class, she's really passionate about what she does. Anyway, all you have to do is read the books assigned, do the essays, and show up for the class. The extra credit she gives helps assure you an A. The only thing that I found tedious was the in-class group work.

Really amazing and inspirational professor! You could tell she is super passionate about helping her students succeed. I only took this class ofr the credit but ended up enjoying it a a lot. It was definitely a lot of work but i honestly had fun doing it.

SUPER NICE! We had a total of 3 essays that were easy to understand and she gives you a good amount of time do them. to I do recommend to do the discussions and journals because i feel like that helps a lot and is a big part. She does give extra credit. I recommend taking her for this course.

Professor Alessandri is calm, kind, professional, and even-keel. She is clear on what is expected of her students. All assignments are explained in details. She can be a tougher grader as far as essays are concerned.

Take her, it's such an easygoing class (no tests, not even a final). I've never stressed once about turning in assignments on time. The prof grades fairly and gives great feedback. Not work-intensive at all.

I took her during fall 2020 ( COVID 19 times), she was very kind, we had 3 essays for the semester and every Friday we had an assignment to submit and answer to one of our classmate by Sunday. She gave us an opportunity for extra credit by resubmitting one of the essays for a better grade. She explained things very well and gave me good feedback.

Professor Alessandri is amazing! Her classes are slightly boring, but she doesn't keep you longer than she needs to. She is very caring and understanding and will fix grading errors. She is not a very tough grader, and carefully goes over all assignment requirements! Take her! You will not regret taking this class with Professor Alessandri!!!!

I took this professor for both 1 and 2. she's an amazing teacher, there's no test or quiz, but there are about 3-4 essays you need to do, which are super easy. Take her class.

I took this course online and I am happy to have taken it. There are three papers with all the modules revolving around creating your thesis, your draft, and your final paper. "My labs" were enough to keep you busy but if you just knock them out in the beginning then you shouldn't have a hard time at all. She also gives extra credit opportunities!

I highly recommend taking Professor A for English. She is a fast grader, gives you a chance to get extra credit and is always willing to help. She provides clear grading criteria, and she reminds us each week of the upcoming assignments. I wish I could take her for ENC1102 as well!

Her syllabus is clear and easy to follow. You will have 1 topic that you choose at the beginning of the semester and that is what you will base all of your papers on through the semester. She gives plenty of time for all assignments and grades quickly with detailed feedback. All papers are 750 words, last one is 1500.

Great professor! She gives amazing, very detailed feedback and genuinely reads and considers the work you submit. I would definitely take her class again, it was vey interesting and she seemed to actually care about the effort you put into the course. Very considerate of unique situations.

Alex A is nice she emails you the day before class begins. The first day of class consistently gives reminders to make sure the students are on top of everything that is expected. By looking at the syllabus there is a "main" big essay due at the end of the semester. I noted she has a child in high school so I'm sure that impacts how sweet she is!

Professor Alessandri is amazing. She leaves very detailed feedback on every writing assignment and gives great advice for resubmission. This class was a breeze. There are no quizzes or tests, just writing assignments, and plenty of time to complete them, even for an accelerated 12 week summer course. I would highly recommend taking her class!

She was a great professor especially for an online only class. Whenever I had a question about an assignment I would email her and get a response back by the next day. Majority of the assignments are for participation and the ones that are not you can get extra credit for. If you want more feedback on a rough draft just ask.

I like her, even though her writing assignments are a bit much, I think she gave some good feedback on my writing and it helped me improve more in class, so I would recommend taking this class.
