Failed every test and still got an A. She has a bad attitude and lets you leave 2 hours early from class so she could eat dinner. If you are nice to her she will make your life very easy.

not all that great, however unlike most professors she doesn't try to make your like diffcult. she is very helpful and wants to see all students pass. most professors are just mean and does not want to see you pass or make it at bc. big up to alexis!

She is stern and don't play when it comes to work. She explains business from her point of view. I enjoyed the class and did not have a problem understanding her at all.

This Professor is one of the best teachers teaching this subject. If you take the class be prepared to work hard. I found the professor to be knowledgeable in the subject manner and gave those that wanted to learn, help when need. I would recommended this Professor she comes off hard core but she is real cool and knows her stuff.

Shame on the brainless students who gave a good prof poor ratings. Advice: If you read, speak and COMPREHEND English, you will not have a problem. She's a straight shooter. she is an excellent professor. she do in class work and the homework and exams are based off that. just dont wait last minute to do your homework and exams, do them as soon as possible. some retarded and stupid students wait last minute and when they didnt have smooth sailing, they blame the professor.great teacher.students who fail deserve it.

It is ridiculous how people go through life just blaming everyone for their failures, instead of just looking at themselve to see and realize the area in which they are deficient. She is a very good professor but she hates lazy students and those that have all the excuses in the world. She is helpful when she sees you want to learn.

If you are lazy,then you will not be able to do her work. Students that do not know how to do math wants to put the blame on her for their stupidity. It is college, not high school learn to take responsibility for your failures you lazy bums.

This class was not easy at all but Professor Carrington is not the monster some have made her to be. She is a good professor willing to help those that really want to learn. Opened my book twice and used only her notes to pass the class. If you ask for help, you get it. You have to earn your grade with her. Don't be a sucker-accept the challenge!

This class is hard, but if you try your best and I mean your best, you should be fine. I know there was one point where I was about to drop the class, but decided not to. Closer to the end of the class, you start putting everything you learned together b/c of repetition. P.S. Don't take things personally, she's not here to be our friend.

This class is not as diffcult if you do your work. Home work is important in order to have a good grade.I was about to withdraw but decided to use the internet link to the book a great help. Finance is knowing math and many of the student who complain do not know math.Be fair and do not write about a professor when you do not want to do your work.

Students cannot be pleased... Carrington is much better than the other current 70.2 professors. She may be harsh at times, but that makes you want to learn and get the best possible grade. She is very fair.. One cannot expect to sit there and send text messages all the time and then fail and complain that she is not good. SHUT UP !!! She's great

I found Ms. Carrington to be very helpful professor and also with good knowledge for her course of Bus70.2. The course is pretty hard but if you do your job well you'll get a good grade at the end.

She is Great.. Take her if you want to keep your GPA up.. Weinstein will make you fail. Take her, she knows what to give you to make you learn well and to make you pass... you will never forget what she teaches you. I LOVE IT....

This professor is very detailed in her work. She is easily accessible if you need help. I was actually in the class with this person who complained. They probably didn't even open the book and never contacted the professor for help. She is excellent. However, if you are not good in math you should take precal or calculus first.I got an A+ in this.

This professor is excellent. She is very helpful in the class work and available when needed. She is on top of her students to help make them do good. People this is FINANCE, therefore math is involved. If you don't know how to use a scientific calculator don't blame the professor. She is excellent! I would take her for any class she teaches.

Wow, my gosh. Carrington is excellent, you learn alot from her. I started the class with a very slight likeness to finance and came out loving it. Honestly i wish all the professors at brooklyn college were this way. You cannot be lazy,cause she give you homework and assignment to do and if you really want to learn, you will do the work

If you are seriously considering a career in finance ($$$), I would highly recommend her. She gives advice on career goals and how to achieve them, and I am actually considering a new option as a result. The class does require understanding mathmatical formulas and entering them in proper order (high school algebra).

Tough but very fair, and teats everyone equally. She always responds to queries in and outside of the classroom in a timely manner.

Alexis Carrington is a wonderful person as well as prof. She is extremely helpful as well as knowledgable in the topics that she teaches. You must be willing to put effort into your education. I am in my senior year and after four years i have finally had at least one great prof.

She is pretty straightforward in her class. Tells you exactly what you need to do. Teaches only essentials of the class with no tricks.

I highly recommend this class if you are very good in math and know the calculator very well.What i really like about this class is that it encourages class participation.After every lecture, she would ask questions and then students would compete to see who can answer the questions quickest.She doesn't like lazy students.I had to work hard for A+.

SHE IS VERY STRAIGHTFORWARD, NO SPOON FEEDING, ALLOWS FOR INDEPENDENT THINKING AND IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE IN THIS AREA OF STUDY. SHE ALSO GIVES ADVICE ON HOW TO APPROACH THE BUSINESS WORLD. SHE IS STRICT BUT BEYOND ALL THAT SHE IS A NICE PERSON.

she's really strict, no bull, but she teachs u wat u really need 2 no, didnt spend alot of time on the concepts but u get that as u get the problems. test n homework online n have to do problems in class before u leave.do them, it counts 4 ur grade final online n she let us use our text n notes n sample test dont piss her off n u'll get da same A-

Not easy class at all, but if you work hard, your grade will be good. Computerized exams, which is a huge plus because you have 1 week to work out the problems. Alexis is extremely helpful.

Carrington know her stuff and is very helpful and approachable. You must do work, don't be lazy and expect her to hand it to you. great class

Great teacher. She seems tough at first but she clearly gives you everything you need to do well. She did some major favors for me that she really didn't have to do. She always says she "doesn't do panic" but she responded so well to me given the situation I was in and how upset or "panicked" I was. No bs but super helpful. Love her.
