I highly recommend. As long as you show up and participate you will not make a poor grade. Had a take home midterm and final that was word for word with the book. Even if you are bad at public speaking he is still very encouraging and never puts anyone down. My favorite professor at TJC.

I Really liked him, He wants you to "Peel" the onion a lot, which means he wants you you "to get more detailed" but other then that, he's really funny, very inspirational, outgoing, and very laid back, Your finals are even open book ! so that should tell you ! Let me start off by saying, I hate speech and speaking in front of people, so when I say Mr I changed that for me, I mean it. His way of teaching changed my outlook on speech classes and made me comfortable in his class. Would definitely recommend him to anyone needing to take speech.

Mr I as he likes to be called is an overall great teacher. He does the school a favor by being their speech teacher. He is funny and keeps you interested. I would recommend him to anybody. He teaches life lessons.

What you should know is that if you do your work its an easy A, nothing is hard, he even coaches you when your done with your speech and he made me less scared about it. Great teacher!!!!

Mr. I is a very good speech teacher. Although I really do not like public speaking (at all!) I was able to conquer some of my timidity with his encouragement. His class requires work, but if you do it, you will receive the good grade for it. The classwork can be somewhat time consuming, but even though my major is Nursing, I'd say it's worth it!

Professor Ippolito is a very engaged and enjoyable teacher. The course is not difficult if you are willing to put in the work; also "Mr. I" as he likes to be called makes himself available and will work with you if you ask for help.

He is a great professor. The exams are long but if you do it ahead of time you will be fine. His grading process is easy you grade each other's test. The speeches are pretty easy if you just go over it from time to time before you say it. I strongly encourage others to join his class.

There is only one actual speech and only two other presentation that you have to give. The only knock I would say is he is a little vague on what needs to be in the speech or presentation but super easy class

Easy class, he can come off as a rude person if you rub him the wrong way. However, he is very laid back and helps you. He gives you a lot of work that you need to print but it will not only help you in his class but help you in your future for your career.

It was a 12 wk course so you must show up but only a few assignments and the tests were GROUP projects. Not like a normal speech class. Cool dude but deadlines were unclear and he waited till the last week to put in everyone's grades. Dropped from an A to B. Some of the work was pointless but I think he was very entertaining and I loved coming to class. Just get your work done way before it's due and you won't have to worry about his class too much.

If you need a speech class, this is it. Mr. I has been at this for a while and is just overall a great teacher for communication. His teaching is straight to the point and would make for a great learning experience. As long as you do your work and participate, there should be no issues taking this class.

As a man at 40 who has gone back to school, I was full of anxiety. (Honestly, once i got out of college 20 years ago, i overthink things) Mr. I worked with me to help me get passed my anxieties and made sure to listen when I needed help. His classroom was one of respect and humor when he instructed and I would recommend him to ANYONE taking speech.

Silly dude. Basically just here for fun. Pay attention to what he wants and try your best to do it and he will do his best to get you an A. Very accommodating. My mental/physical health caused me to skip class for 2 or 3 weeks. I stayed in contact with him and he let me make up all the work anyway. Speeches may take a while but aren't too hard

loved loved loved him! one of the best people and professors out there, wish i could take him again. LOTS of speeches and some presentations. tedious work, but as long as you keep up it's manageable. very very late grader, which was frustrating but keep reminding him.

Very beneficial class, all work is given with plenty of time to get done and not stress. The work isn't too hard but good enough to help you learn and improve. Very nice, chill, caring person. He is caring enough to give you grace if you fall behind. Also very smart and inspiring. I would 100% recommend this class.

He is a super cool guy, very kind and caring. Had no issue taking late work from me and was not at all strict when it came to assignment specifics or details as long as u brought it up to him. Class is super easy, light, and entertaining. And attendance is a grade but he takes attendance pretty late. It was my favorite class.
