I enjoyed this class. Carson has an easygoing attitude. He likes to make you think and he wants to hear your opinon. If you sit and say nothing, he may give you a pop quiz. He had 3 papers/500 words and 2 essay tests. He used only one book, so save some money and take his class.

He's well-spoken, opens his eyes really big to show emphasis on things, and gets your jokes. I'll miss his goofy self next semester. Too bad...

Professor Albert is a wonderful English professor. I learned a lot in his class last Spring. There is a lot of textbook reading but he makes it fun. I would recommend taking him. Great guy!

Great professor! He was always hilarious and taught me so much about the subject. He was adorable and is probably the only guy to pull off a bowtie on a daily basis. You'll love this class! Highly recommended! plus he's super adorable :)

GREAT lit teacher. A lot of writing but he grades very easily. Tells plenty of funny stories throughout class and usually lets everyone leave early. I would definitely recommend him

He is a wonderful Prof!!! He is very funny. I took him at 6pm and I never hated going to class. There is a good amount of reading required. if you plan to take him READ THE REQUIRED TEXT!!!! If you dont he will give you quizes. Over all WONDERFUL PROF!!!!

He is so nice and funny I absolutely loved his class. He is very laid back and you never have to write an essay out of class except one time. He is the easiest grader of all time. You do have little assignments to do every day but they are really short and easy and we normally get out really early.

Mr. Carson is a very helpful professor. He is an older gentleman, but tries to connect with his students. He always starts class with random topics that have happened since the previous class, but they are pretty entertaining. Overall he is a great professor.

Hands down the cutest professor ever. Really tries to get students involved and interested. He cares more about relating to you as a person rather than grades. Papers were not given back with grades, but pulled he gives A's where he sees fit. Devistated he isn't teaching 1102.

He is the greatest English professor that I have had yet. He enjoys his job and being with his students. He makes class interesting and jokes around with the students. Reading is important because he gives random pop quizzes to see if you know the material. I recommend him to anyone!

Best ENGL teacher I've ever had. Very nice and funny. Always wears a bow tie. Grades papers easily. Only 1 research paper on a movie. Only have to write a couple of 1-3 pg papers all semester. Some in class projects. Final is not difficult. Can only miss 6 classes all semester before you fail.

My favorite prof at KSU I've had thus far. He improved my writing tremendously and actually cares about your learning. He truly wants his students to succeed. Papers were well-chosen topics. Do the reading, participate in discussions, and turn papers in on time and it's an easy B. Throw in a little extra effort and it's an A. Passed with a 98.

Mr. Carson is super nice and easy-going. I took his THREE hour, EIGHT am class, on a FRIDAY and he made it as painless as possible. He doesn't give a lot of homework and he understands that things come up and will accept late assignments. He gives us a twenty minute break app. every hour or so. He is GREAT.

Prof. Carson is the GREATEST. This was the last English class I needed for graduation and he made it interesting and painless. Yes I said interesting: not only was his class easy, it was actually pretty fun, because he is hilarious and very sweet. You have to read and show up and take the (fairly frequent) quizzes for an A, but it's worth it. :)

LOVED Professor Carson!! He works with you to make sure you can do the best you can in his class. You do write a good number of essays, and one big research paper at the end of the semester. He gives good guidelines on everything. Could not have asked for a better professor.

This class is extremely easy if you can write well. There are quizzes on the assigned readings, sometimes he tells you in advance, sometimes he doesn't. The midterm and final are short essays and he grades easy. He will accidentally insult everyone in your class which is hilarious if its not you. He can be quite dense and ignorant, but nice too

TAKE THIS CLASS. He is a great person and teacher. Very funny. I am a hardworking student, and he really appreciated my hard work. However, if you are not as hardworking as I, no worries! He gives challenging, but very achievable, assignments and tests. If you do all the assignments and tests with minimal effort, you will make a B.

Not many out of class essays. Most are in class and pretty short. He is such a wonderful and nice guy. Pretty easy grader for an English class. Read one great book. Probably my favorite professor. For an 8am class, I'm not suffering from boredom. Best English professor hands down. You'll love him! and oh! you must buy the books btw.

Professor Carson was by far my favorite teacher this semester. His class is incredibility easy and is impossible to fail. He gives you study guides for all of the tests. There are no surprises on the tests and as long as you do the study guide, you should be able to make a B or an A on the test.

Professor Carson is the sweetest professor in the world. This is my first semester in college, and I love him so much, he was my favorite. He grades easy (100's on essays which never happened in high school) and if you miss assignment in class because you weren't there he lets you do it at home and turn it in later. Don't miss more than 5 classes

Professor Carson is such a sweet an caring man. He makes the class so easy and fun and is relates to the class very well. All assignments in class and i didn't even read the book that was assigned and i got an A on the test over it. That's how well he reviews. I actually look forward to his class and will miss him when its over

I took Mr. Carson for English 1101 and 1102 and I told my friend to take him, so she did too. I am now a senior at Kennesaw and still to this day he was the best teacher I ever had. He's hilarious, personable, smart, any good adjective you can think of. There's nothing but nice things to say about this guy and his classes. TAKE HIM!!!!

He's a really cool dude and helps you in any way possible. The papers he assigns are super easy. He goes over the main points that the paper will require in class. No homework except reading.

Dr. Carson is super nice and goes over all of the reading material thoroughly in class. He is not a tough grader and tells the class when there will be a "surprise" quiz. There are two 500 word essays and two tests.

This is THE professor you want for 1101. He cares for his students, he is more than willing to work with you, and it's a super easy A. 6 absences allowed then you fail. Usually you write a 500 word "essay" every couple classes but they are more than simple and straight forward. He cares more about you learning than the grade, so he's not too harsh.

TAKE TAKE TAKE, this is the professor you want for World Lit. Awesome guy, pretty funny sometimes, class is pretty easy, he's an easy grader and made class not boring. Took world lit at another university and it was literally 15x harder and 50x more boring.

This class was great, I heard stories about other 1101 teachers and it made me so glad I had professor Carson. He doesn't grade hard and gives really good feedback. Definitely made me a better writer but you will be writing almost everyday in his class! Its still worth it though.

His class is mainly in-class assignments and essays. If you miss class, odds are you will miss an assignment and get a 0 but, I made two zeros and still made an A. Super Easy grader, on papers and on tests. Most of his tests are majority essay questions, maybe some true and false or matching. 10/10 would recommend if you need an easy A.

I took Professor Carson as a hybrid class. It was an 8 AM but he did not make it seem like one. There are required texts and readings but he reviews exactly what is on the quiz before it. He is a funny old man and his assignments aren't very difficult. He gives great feedback on all your writings and is very approachable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I took Dr. Carson for an 8am hybrid. He doesn't assign too much, and all assignments are pretty easy. There are two essays (four if you count mid-term and final) and three reading quizzes. He also gives great feedback on the essays; I would take this class again.

My absolute favorite professor at KSU. You will not find a better professor than him. You will learn so much, he's really easy going & extremely nice, he tells you exactly what you need to do to succeed in his class, and if you do your work you'll get an A. We read a novel, did a research paper, and we often did small essay assignments. TAKE HIM!!

I took his course at Reinhardt University and he was absolutely amazing!!! Sweetest man you'll ever meet and his class was a breeze!!!!

Professor Carson simply is a basic English teacher. You have to read the books he assigns and you will take quizzes after he goes over the reading. Papers are definitely written in this class but doesn't grade heavily. He cares about his students and usually lets us go early. Highly recommend!

All you do in class is listen to him read/discuss reading. Class almost always ended early. 2 essays, some quizzes,& 1 easy group project the entire semester.

Only a midterm and a final, the quizzes are reviewed IN CLASS ON THE SAME DAY, and he reviews exactly what we will be quizzed on!! It was so easy. Literally the best professor ever. Love him

Professor Carson is the funniest older man. He makes class enjoyable and doesnt grade to harshly. If you do your work you will pass, if not make an A. There were about 3 group projects and 3-4 essays, not too difficult either. His curriculum changes by semester, but a lot of the work is dependent on whatever the reading is, so buy your books.

Mr. Carson is hands down a great professor. He genuinely cares about his students and their well-beings. There are a couple of group projects and papers to write, but nothing too major. All grades are averaged together, nothing is weighted. I've taken him for ENGL 1101 and 1102 and I wish I could take him again.

Mr. Carson is a great teacher that I am taking him again for English 1102. You have to go to class because there will be pop up quizzes over what he used in the powerpoint. This class was a hybrid, and he normally tells you about the friday assignment. He super chill with late work and even turned my classes final into a take home final instead!

Carson grades HEAVY on papers. Anything and everything on a paper. Good teacher just kind of bland and worries about how your papers are written. I would take again. Tries to be funny during his lectures just awk. However, if you want an easy A then he's the way to go.

I love Professor Carson so much. I took him for ENGL 1101 and 1102 because he is so sweet and cares so much about your success. Lots of reading and quizzes on what you read but he always goes over EXACTLY what is on the quiz. His classes are small so he will know YOU, do not skip class. His humor is underappreciated. I signed up to take Prof Carson in-person this fall, but due to COVID, the class became 100% online. We met during the time of our class online and did almost all of our work in class. If you miss a class you'll miss an assignment and most likely get a 0 on it. But if you show up and do all the work, you'll get an A. I highly recommend taking him!

LOVE PROF and would definitely take him again. Text book and attendance is required. Hes so witty and funny and I wish I had class with him in person. A lot of quick writes so if you cant write an essay in about an hour or if you dont like writing dont take this class. A lot of groups projects and all the questions in quizzes are from the class

Dr. Carson is a model english teacher. He starts the year out by having you write a short essay. This essay doesn't count but he uses to show you how he grades and what he expects. After this I never got below a 93 on a paper. Very involving during lectures. And cares about his students and is very helpful with all things kennesaw.

Mr. Carson is awesome. A sweet old guy who tries to make his lectures engaging and fun. We did do a writing assignment each time we met however they were never hard and usually the topic was engaging so it was not hard to think of something to write. We did a few group projects but those were also really easy. I definitely recommend taking him!!!!

This was a very easy class, but he did get off topic a lot. He didn't grade hard. He's very sweet and does take a while to grade papers. He took like 2 months to grade my paper lol, he also doesn't respond to emails. Overall, work is super easy!

If you take him once, you will want to take him for every class he teaches! He is so funny and really wants you to get an A. Very easy grader and easy to talk to. Lectures often go off topic, but that's something I personally didn't mind in his class. I took online, and it was the best decision ever! Probably the best teacher you can get.

Easy class but grades kinda hard on papers so double-check for grammar. There will be group projects but those are pretty easy. Also don't be afraid to ask him questions or help on something he is very understandable. He will give you second chances on assignments if you don't do as well as you'd like just ask and show that you care.

I enjoyed the time spent in his class! He can get off topic, but he's quite easy to talk to. Just make sure you at least look over the PowerPoint BEFORE submitting your papers (he does check for grammar and spelling). Also, READ THE BOOK. Although he will give you a lot of the answers, reading for yourself minimizes the confusion in answer choices.

Professor Carsons English was the most accessible English class I have ever taken. He makes the assignments easy to understand, and the quizzes/ tests are also accessible. My class only had two exams, ten quizzes, around ten assignments, and two group projects. He makes a lot of jokes but when it is time to do work he gets down to it.
