He's a very hard teacher, but if he likes you, he's very helpful. He likes people who show up for class and make a real effort. If you slack off, he has no mercy. He's a very nice man, and I would take him again.

He lowers himself to teach at the level of his audience and is very clear, makes sure you understand before he goes on to the next subject I wish I would have known about him before for my remedial classes!

Great teacher, he really knows what he is talking about. He teaches the material in an efficient manner yet he is really easy to understand. His tests can sometimes be difficult but it is straight from the book/notes. He is very fair and will replace your lowest test grade with the final. Easy B.

I took his remedial course & then College Alg. I HATED math & struggled constantly - until Mr. Elhaj. He helped me to understand like nobody could before. Show up, do the work, let him know you are making the effort, & he will help you every way he can. It was my first "A" on a math test in my life! And he's got gorgeous eyes-very nice to look at.

I cannot say enough good things about this instructor. For once, I actually understand the math! Take him and go to every class. (If you are short on $$, forget the book; buy the calculator!) Now, can someone clone him and distribute the copies to every high school in the US? That would raise test scores and solve our national math deficits!

Great Teacher! I missed a ton of class and still made out with a B and I stink at math. All the reviews and notes are online so if you miss, you can still get the notes. Book and attendance are not mandatory. He can get a little off topic sometimes but I dont care too much, I just want a good grade! And thats what you get! Easy class!

Tells you what you need to know- nothing more, nothing less. Go to class, utilize the test reviews, get your A. Math isn't one of my academic strengths, but I managed to churn out an A. Get the text and the T.I. 83 or 84. You'll be miserable without the T.I.. Recommended instructor.

TAKE THIS TEACHER. I took him in a 3 week mini class. He gave everyone TI-86 calculators to use. I didn't use the book at all. I made an A on every exam. Wonderful teacher. Go to class, take notes, and do the reviews and you will pass.

I took Mr. Elhaj for college algebra and statistics, he is a great instructor. You must have a TI-83 calculator if you want have a chance at passing. Tests are pretty easy, you have to study, but come on its math. He posts lecture notes online. I bought the solutions manual which helped me with the book work.

college algebra Ali is a very great professor. He is very clear and takes his time explaining.I am not good at math I had to repeat intermediate a couple of times. You don't need the book. Study the review, go to class, buy a TI. 4 exams then the final. You can replace one grade with what ever you make on the final.At the end I made a B.

Mr Elhaj is a great teacher. I took him for STAT and he was such an awsome professor. He gives excellent notes and explains in a way that a 5 year old can understand. Highly recomend this teacher. Tests are not that easy but if you attend the class and take his notes, you will make atleast a High B in his class. Guaranteed!!!

Took 1314 in the fall & got a D, took Eljah on 3wk-mini and got a B. I'm not good at math but he made me ask myself why didn't I understand this stuff the first time I took the class. Explains it simple, multiple choice tests, no book required but attend class. If I had to take anymore math courses I would definately choose him again.

Very good teacher. He's kind of funny too! Gives great notes and examples. Only downside is his tests are pretty hard. He does give a review and some test questions come from it. He explains everything clearly and in detail.

Last semester I got a D with Sandra McCurdy(She sucks!)I'm currently enrolled in the mini and doing great! He is by far the best instructor I've EVER had. He challenges, encourages and ultimately motivates you to learn. I actually like math now! He has a tremendous passion for his job. My entire class loves him. He deserves a raise! A BIG raise!

I highly recommend taking this teacher. I took Repsher for a regular semester and had to drop because she is extremely hard to understand. I took Mr. Elhaj in a mini and I made a B+. He is awesome! i took him for business cal. he was AWESOME!!!!!!! he would spend all class period going over one method/section. he gives so many examples just to make sure you understand it. don't really need the book, i never opened mine. he makes math pretty fun, not boring. he jokes around and give you great notes and great reviews. def recommend him!!!

AMAZING!!!! this guy is probably THE BEST math teacher on this campus (south). He will repeat himself over and over until you get it... and if that's not enough, he will even review with the class b4 the exams... you still have to study b/c some material requires practice, but this guy will make it so easy. I definitely recommend this professor.

Good professor. Test are fair as long as you do the hw (A lot of questions come from the notes too). Just study well and you'll do fine. I almost got an A but I messed up my final lol. Take him; he makes a calculus a rather enjoyable class

He was a great professor, but I wish he would go through the time to derive the formulas and explain why they were that way. Besides that, he was a fabulous teacher. He cares for his students and loves the subject he teaches. The side stories in class are a nice distraction from the topic at hand and keep class interesting. I highly recommend him.

He's a good teacher. I took a 3 week mini of Algebra and he made it fun considering the amount of classroom hours monday-friday. I guess it depends on what class but he gave us test reviews and all notes to print out from previous years. He rambles sometimes but Im sure he did that to pass time in our long class. Depending on how good you are at math,good take him, if not good then don't.Notes can be old,but come to class and you'll be okay. His test reviews is out dated, so it's not useful. Either you understand the concepts, or not then reviews is useless. My math lab is a waste of time/money because nothing will be on the test. Study on your own to pass

REALLY REALLY great teacher, BUT if you're not good at math or have "poor math skills" like he says, DO NOT take his class! He is an amazing teacher, makes most things pretty clear, but his test are HARD and the homework is ridiculous! Didn't use book at all, just MML.

Amazing professor! Had him for a mini I don't know how he got such a low rating, very easy just pay attention to his work in class and easy A. Got a 97 in his class and all I did was his review.

Very helpful and clear. I took his three week mini summer class. I had no problems because he shows you all methods of the equations! He is very kind and understanding about being late or phones as long as it does not become a bad habit. Over all he expects you to question him if you do not understand and he never has errors in calculations!

Great class. He gives you all the information you need to know in the beginning of class and lets you know when the du dates are and you are allowed to work at you own speed. Tests are timed but come straight from homework and only about 30 questions for 2 hours. plenty of time! Final is on campus and he is nice laid back guy. Easy A.

Loved this class! Im not a huge math nerd but after taking this class I've considered taking more math. He's very clear on everything. His tests are exactly what is on the review so if you study you'll do just fine. He is very funny and makes class interesting. I recommend him! Made an A+ :)

Prof. Elhaj should be teaching at a university. He knows his stuff & explains it well. Not an easy class, but he outlines the material in a clear & organized way that helps tremendously. Emphasizes what you should review also . He will not baby you, but will help you if you ask. HW and tests are straight forward. Definitely recommended.

Professor Elhaj is one of my favorite math professors ever! He explains the material so well, gives detailed steps for each example, and first gives you insight before actually starting on the material. I loved the class, it is difficult if you don't practice, but overall I would take again.

Great Professor! He is so passionate about what he does and is extremely knowledgeable, he has so many interesting stories to tell related to Math which i really like. Very lenient in grading, gives a lot of partial credit even when sometimes you may not deserve it. Wish he taught Cal 2. TAKE HIM!

I took him online for a 13-week semester. If you watch the videos he posted the homework would be easy. Every so often I would need to click on the MyMathLink that said show me an example but not too often. Most test if you finished the homework when you were suppose to he would give you an extra chance to take the test. That helped alot

Professor Elhaj is awesome. Uses a lot of helpful examples and applies his own stories to the lecture, if he has time. Always willing to help those who reach out for any extra help. He also provides very helpful reviews on blackboard for each exam; DO THEM. They come with an answer key and are very helpful to study for exams. Great professor

Mr. Elhaj was fantastic. I 100% recommend him. He breaks down the material so well and really explains it in a way that is completely understandable. His examples are great, no homework, he goes over most of the test review in class, allows a hand made formula sheet for tests. He made this class enjoyable and truly was a great professor. Professor Elhaj is a great educator! I took his online class for COL-ALG and the quizzes consisted of 4-8 questions max and the homework was about 20 question each. Professor Elhaj does give a deadline for all the homework/quizzes/test and its not every Sunday, its about 3 weeks spread apart so plenty of time to get things done! Highly recommend

Professor Elhaj was extremely helpful to me. He offered a ton of makeup work because I missed a lot due to Harvey. He extended the due dates and was just very understanding. Would definitely take him again.

Very flexible, super nice and helpful. You get 2 shots at exams, 3 shots at quizzes, long due dates over a month, prompt response, great videos notes, made an easy B crammed most of it.

Excellent resources on BB, online tests are like assigned HW, credit is issued for webassign errors, generous with points and very flexible due dates. 2-3 hrs/week made an easy B. Definitely take him!

Elhaj is very straight forward with you and funny. He is honest and caring at the same time also. 3 tests with optional 4th test. If you take it he drops lowest, then replaces next lowest with final. Tests and some graded HW are the only grades for the class. He likes to get off track and talk about many things in lecture so you don't get too bored

Online class. Definitely a favorite professor because he was understanding about due dates and extended them if necessary. Gave friendly email reminders to finish. Lots of homework but were easy(unlimited) times to answer. Quizzes(2 tries).Test(2 tries). Textbook helpful but not necessary. TAKE HIM HE'S THE BEST!

If math isn't our best subject, you shouldn't take it online- however, this professor will really work with you and give you plenty of chances to make a good grade. He was very understanding and gave good feedback. Everything is online except for the final, that's on campus. I didn't find the reviews on BB but maybe I read them wrong. Good luck!

A ton of resources such as videos,ppts,notes,reviews,2 SHOTS AT EXAMS and he keeps the higher grade - I mean come on! 3 for quizzes and lots of time to get it done. I must have emailed him 100 times and he literally replied to all my emails and was very accommodating and understanding. Don't be lazy and procrastinate and this will be an easy A!

Wonderful teacher I mustve emailed him every day of the semester and he responded promptly with complete instructions if you show him what you did. Allows double shot if you finish HW by due date, 100s of videos on every topic. Mymathlab is sometimes annoying but he issues credit when MML messes up. Overall he is one of the best professors.

Lets start off by saying im very week in math. I was worried when i saw that i had to take this class and based on the reviews of several professors i decided to go with this one. That was the BEST decision i made. This professor has the funniest lectures. He has a way of keeping all the students involved with funny jokes and examples. Very Caring!

Stats is a very hard class, but he made it manageable! He is a really nice and funny guy. We had tons of extra credit for test grades. His lecture and reviews are JUST like the test, so write down what he writes. He says you need the textbook but I never used it . Study and you will do fine.

He's an amazing professor. I took him online class for college algebra 1314. His online homework, test, and quizzes were in mymathlab. Its pretty easy. You will get good grade if you do mymathlab.

Took for stats. I SUCK at math, he makes everything so easy. 3 exams + 1 partial take home exam. Final is accumulative. No homework, just reviews! Book optional. He's easy to talk to and ask questions. Explains everything in detail, plenty of examples, makes lectures interesting, allows formula sheets for exams, extra credit. Impossible to fail.
