A very good class in investment. Lots of reading (book and Project materials), but lectures dug very deep into analyzing material and made you think. I learned so much about investment, specially through the project. He's helpful, and although there were a lot of work for the project, they were relevant , analytical, and boaring, but useful. A!

He is a really welcoming teacher, and tell you what he is going to test on. I took a summer class and was a little fast but the work on the back of the chapter and the exercises in class you just need to practice them. I would recommend him, I hope i can retake the class with him.

This was the second time I took this course. Wow! So much easier this time around. Tests were a breeze (all multiple choice, no handwritten problems). Homework all done online w/ infinite chances to submit answers (up until the deadline date, that is). No projects, presentations, reports, etc. Just homework and tests. One of the easiest A's ever!

He's a nice professor who clearly knows what he's teaching. His tests are all multiple choice which really helps. Homework answers are on Blackboard and he only collects homework on the exam day. His accent sometimes makes it hard to understand what he's saying but he's a really good professor.

Mr. Naddafpour is amazing. He gives multiple/relevant examples & does everything to help you understand. He never made anyone feel stupid for asking a question and never ignored anyone. The Professor knows what he's talking about. He uses real life examples. There's a lot to cover within a semester due to subject itself. Asks students repeatedly if we have questions. Answers all questions in person or via email promptly. Loved his lecturing style & willingness to help students learn the subject. I would definitely take him again!

I love Professor N, he is one of the few professors I've had that truly cares about his students. At the end of every class he always asks us to be safe which I take to heart. I have had to take accounting twice before this semester and have not done very well. However the manner in which Professor N teaches the material really sticks in your head!

by far the best accounting teacher at COC. take BUS201 and 202 with him!! easy to understand and really cares about the students' success. do all the online hw. keep doing them and the prac tests. if you don't do the hw you won't pass. the hw was plain and simple - you just have to keep up with it.

I took his class a few semesters ago and forgot to give him a review! I had taken Accounting 1 twice before taking it with this professor. He actually taught in a manner that i understood and i loved taking this class. So bummed that i don't get to take him again for accounting 2

He's a really nice guy and cares for a students success in the class. I warned you, this class is not easy it is very difficult and you will have to study your butt off. He will give analogies to remember certain concepts which help but go to his lectures and look over notes after. Exams are tricky so make sure you know the material 100%.

Naddafpour is just one of those teachers where you see him and can't help to smile. This class is not easy at all and the exams are honestly tough. You cannot just place numbers in boxes on wileyplus and say you understand it. That was my mistake and do extra problems, make sure you get it 100%. Don't procrastinate and study the night before.

I don't think Accounting will be easy, but the way he teaches it is understandable. Go to the lectures because he explains problems, be inquisitive, be ready to learn. Naddafpour will always tell the class to have a great weekend and be safe. He always has a smile on his face as a student walks in. Approachable guy and he answers emails!

This class sure did drop my gpa, but it is accounting which is a very hard subject to master night before a test. You have some SLO's, homework 10 points, and hard exams where it's more logic based then math. Don't just think wileyplus will help you have to know the material very well. He is very helpful and answered my questions, but still tough.

Take him. I had to retake a class that deals with lots of math and from taking 3 math courses last semester they helped me with the course right now. I recommend you find people to study with and study right away. Don't do it last minute, do SLO's homework chapter readings. He's tough, but this is the hardest class for business majors.

This class is stressful and material is complex. Naddafpour is a great person and I enjoyed taking acct with him. You will learn, but you will go through nights of anxiety before an exam. What you should do is record transactions on a Excel sheet and think about it. Make terms personable and do the SLO's, homework, Orion practice it will help!

Naddafpour told the entire class how account 201 and 202 are the hardest classes for business majors. He is right, this class was no walk in the park. You need to do homework(be consistent), SLO's(do it even if your friend or group done it), and read the chapter! You need to practice the transactions they are tricky and think about it. Tough class

I took this class at 8 am and learned I hate waking up. Aside from that, he is super nice and caring person that will help you with your grade and give you a heads up what will cover on the exam. my highest grade was an 80 and the rest I had an average of 70's. you need to study consistently. I got a C because of my average for test scores.

This course was tough and I feel accounting will just be hard either way. You have to know the debits and credits and practice every night. If you want an A you need to Ace every test. To do that you must read the book and do extra problems. Wileyplus won't help you need to do them. Homeworks, SLOs, and exams not cumulative. Very tough class

I'm going to tell you what helped me when taking this class. I read the book and studied the online Orion practice over and over till I got 100%. He gives out good study guides too and is extremely helpful if you don't understand something. If you want an A you need to put in the effort and time to ace all those exams. There tricky so study.

My god this class was hard. I cannot count how many times I stayed up studying a night before an exam learning 2 chapters of so many concepts and terms. He's a super nice guy, but his test are ridiculously hard. Make sure to study and practice of Orion it helped for me. I only got a C, so if u want an A ace every exam and get help right away

First day of lecture he played a Katy perry and U2 song. I was thinking damn this prof has a good music taste. He started talking about remaining a positive attitude and this class will be tough. I didn't go in thinking a subject like accounting would be easy, but I got through it with only a C. You need to study A LOT and read and practice.

He's a good professor. He provides you with study guides and many documents for problems he solves in class. He goes over exams and personalize it with anecdotes etc. Very nice guy and will answer your questions. Accounting is tough so study every night,practice transactions and know terms. I have nothing, but kind things to say about this man. He's great and on canvas he gave us links to Orion practice, textbook, and problems he did himself. The day before any exam he will go over it in class and give us a heads up what might be on it. Pay attention to recordings that was hard part for me and understand DR and Cr.

When I didn't understand wileyplus problem he send me a document of a different problem,same logic. Me and a friend were both working on it. Wileyplus is a gem and honestly helped me at least get a C. There are crossword puzzles,videos,problems similar to book, and worked out problems. I would go there to reference to text and do hw/SLOS's. Acct isn't a class you wanna cram 2 chapters in day of/night before exam. I just made silly mistakes on exams when I did that and barely got a C.

He's a nice guy. Classes are all lecture where he goes over chapters before the exam. Exams cover two chapters. SLO's you can work with group. Use wileyplus and the tools on there. You can practice problems,watch videos. Take notes on a document or paper of transactions. Email him if you don't understand something he will answer.

I ended up with a C, but he's an excellent teacher. My mistake was I studied the night before an exam and not consistently. Wileyplus was a fun website to do transactions. I remember getting so happy seeing my little box green! When I had trouble I send him an email and he's so helpful!! He's so sweet too and goes over exams before exam day!

He was a good professor. I am taking this class distanced so the zoom lectures were not mandatory but they are informative if you attend. He is very forgiving and opens up assignments. The only negative is that he either doesn't answer your email or he does when its too late.

This class was good, but it does get difficult. He does answer questions, but the curriculum is very hard if you do not read textbook outside of class. He lectures for the full class using slideshow. He is not super engaging in class but he is very nice. If you do not put in effort into this class, you will not learn.

Great professor. If you need accounting, this is the professor to take. Very knowledgeable, and it comes from experience. Homework is easy. He cares a lot, and gives updates weekly. This isn't a difficult class to pass, but if you want the most out of it, show up to class and hear him out. He breaks things down and always asks if we have questions.

This is the second class I have taken from this professor. The first being their personal finance class. Seeing how nice of a class that was I decided to do their intro to investing course. If it wasn't for the absolutely cancerous homework problems that this course has it would be a fantastic course.

I took Professor Naddafpour's online 8 week summer course. You have two assignments per chapter and they tend to be time consuming but other than that pretty straight forward. You mainly have to read the textbook for this class and test are easy if you study the material. As long as you stay on top of everything it is a pretty straightforward class

Easy to get a good grade as long as you complete all the homework!!! Not an easy course but the professor really cares about his students. Attendance not mandatory. Final not cummualitive. 2 assignments per chapter a week. Will take 5-8 hours on HW assignments

Chill teacher, but a lot of homework. Expected since it was an 8 week course, but still. Accounting is a very hard subject but he made the class manageable to understand with an online course you have to buy so beware. Homework and exams were a bit tedious but make sure you do the classwork and don't fall behind.
