Instead of explaining the coursework, she lectures the students about why they don't know it. On days where class is two hours, the first hour will be a lecture shaming the students for something. She keeps the class like we're high schoolers. No cell phones can be seen, we have to attend every class, etc.
This professor is worse than any high school teacher I've ever had. she is very intelligent in her area but she doesn't know how to teach. She will lecture you about how/why you don't know the content for an hour of a 2 hour long class. If you see this professor on your schedule, change your schedule.
While this professor knows the material, she is not good at explaining it. Her class is a whole chapter behind other classes of the like. Her tests are too lengthy for the allotted time, as no one in class is done at the end of the hour. She gets upset with students who don't understand the material right away. Do NOT register for this class.
Tough grader, if you make an algebra mistake but still do the problem correctly with right steps, she takes off 2/3 of your points already. Fast lecture and unclear, and very hard exams. Shes a nice person who is willing to help. Would never take again. Never received a grade lower than a B in math ever until now.
She was very good with questions and had a lot of revision. She's very willing to help and her tests are, for the most part, grade boosters.
Not a fan of this professor. I was an honor student until I took her class... Her exams are tough, her lectures are unclear, and she is a VERY tough grader. If you get saddled with her for algebra/trig, good luck.
if you have this teacher on your schedule, do yourself a favor and switch. she is unclear and confusing. If something is not done her way you get marked down. Not a big fan of her and the way she teaches
You can tell she knows the subject matter well, but she doesn't know how to teach it. it is very hard to understand her lectures and if you don't us the steps that's she wants you to use but still get the right answer, you're marked down half a point. wouldn't recommend her to anybody
She was not the greatest professor but she is not bad. If you go to class, put in the work and do the homework it is an easy A. Her grading is fair to the most part but she takes of a lot of points of for simple ALGEBRA mistakes( you will understand why algebra is in caps if you take the class).
At first I was super nervous to take her reading the previous reviews but after taking her I can say she isnt bad. There are 3 exams plus the final as she lets you replace your lowest score. There is a lot of online homework but nothing extreme, as she gives a week to do each assignment. She really helps you if you go to her office hours.
DON'T TAKE HER. Always was an honor roll student until i took her class.
The class was easy just because it was such a low level class but i learned it all on my own. Don't really understand what she's talking about and the way she grades her homework is extremely harsh. Going to class is pointless you won't really learn anything she's smart but he explanations don't make much sense.
I had her for Pre-Calc, and I thought she was alright. I didn't think the class was difficult. It's a lot of re-learning material from past years to get you ready for Calc. She knows the material she's teaching, and I felt that her grading was very easy.
This was my first semester of college and I've taken precalc in high school and learned my own tricks and ways to do some problems however she doesn't accept that and only accepts her way. In addition, she is by far the rudest teacher or professor I've had. If you ask her a question that you are unsure of she makes you seem stupid. DO NOT TAKE HER!
If you are not good with pre-calc and algebra, you will find her class difficult. She is also very strict with writing every step of the solution or you would lose points. I think the load of the class is heavy. Otherwise, she is a terrific teacher and her grading is fair.
She's a really sweet teacher and all her quizzes and exams are problems that have been done in class so they're pretty easy. She gives some extra credit too but I think she assigns too much homework. She is not amazing at explaining concepts but she tries her best and really cares about the class. She even gave us donuts on the last day!
One of the worst professors, very forgetful and unorganized. Very tough grader, if each of your steps aren't identical to hers points are deducted. She didn't seem to care about you as a student, if you don't know each process flawlessly she has said multiple times during lecture "then just forget this class". Very inaccessible via email. Stay away
SHE WAS MY PROF. FOR MAT 1800. THE CLASS IS EASY, BUT SHE MAKES IT DIFFICULT FOR MANY REASONS. FIRST: SHE IS NOT ORGANIZED. 2ND: SHE MAKES A LOT OF MISTAKES IN SOLVING THE EQUATIONS AND STUDENTS CORRECT HER. Last, she is a tough grader. If you solve the problems in your way not her way, you will not full mark. Good Luck f she is your professor.
Just don't take her. Please don't.
She was a little difficult to get used to at first, but after I understood her system it was pretty easy.
Wow. When I started statistics, I was like, "the people who rated her on here must be exaggerating. Nope, they were obviously NOT. Seriously hope I can get out of this class with a decent grade. Only reason I even bothered signing up for her class was bc the class with the prof I WANTED to take was full before I had the chance to sign up for it.
It seems I did not give her enough credit when this semester started. Look, she does her best to explain concepts well but how well you want to do in her class depends on you. She'll do her best to help and clarify things, but at the same time, you need to put in the effort and you'll get that A. :)
Going into this, I had read the previous reviews. They were all correct. She isn't good at teaching. She has a grasp of what she wants to teach but sitting through a two hour class period is draining and most of what she says is repetitive and hard to follow. If you have the option to chose a different professor, do it.
This professor does not appear to understand the material she teaches. Regularly makes basic arithmetic errors in class, conflates the definitions of terms (she told the class that a Z-score of 80 is the same as percentile score of 80 -- it's not), and condescendingly explains new concepts as "common sense." Lecture is a mandatory waste of time.
Easily the worst professor at WSU. She had absolutely no idea what she was teaching, she was only going based off the ppt. She made very many mistakes, after claiming the material was "common sense." Four exams, hand in and online hw, a quiz every week, and a final. The final was nothing that we learned, and it was worth 30% of your grade. AVOID!!!
I thought her she was good. I know some people didn't like her at all, but believe me, I had an even WORSE professor for another class. At least she wasn't inconsiderate. I guess if you REALLY don't want to take her, don't take her for calc. And even if you have her for statistics, it's still an easy class. She's really doing her best to help!
I never knew a professor can be this bad.... Im not even going to waste my time explaining to you how ridiculous her teaching style is. Very inconsiderate and does not care if her students are doing bad. Never replied to a single email. In other words, DO NOT TAKE
DO NOT take this professor unless you're already great at math. She's such a tough grader and can be condescending when you ask her to explain things. She knows her stuff, but she's just not good at communicating that knowledge to other people.
Hard professor. Highly do not recommend taking her class, it was one of the hardest classes Ive ever taken. Very test and quiz heavy. Final exam is worth 30% of your grade and if you get less than a 60% on the final exam you automatically fail the course.
Trust me, just go to her office hours and practice the sample test and exams she posts, you will definitely ace the class.
The others were right. To give perspective for future students: The class average for her last test was a 58%. ill-equipped to teach students. Her class material seems simple in concept, but her tests seem to mix and match things up. She'll do a simple problem on the board then turn it on its head for test and wonder why no one got it right.
I thought this class wouldn't be that bad; oh yes it was. Very rude to students when you ask questions, says that everything is "Algebra" and we should already know how to do it and talks down to us. Tests are much harder than examples we do in class. She does one example, then expects us to get 100% and gets angry when we don't.
Why is she still a professor? Notes and class are disorganized. Condescending and extremely unhelpful when you ask her for help. Exams and quizzes dont make any sense, she lectures you after if you cant understadn her poorly written questions. In class instead of teaching, she lectures about how students should act instead of teaching.
She does not clearly explain things and many questions would show up on the weekly quizzes that were not covered in lecture or the homework. She is very difficult to understand with a heavy accent. She is rude and would yell at kids for being late and small things like that. I do not recommend at all.
Teaches her class like a graduate level course, and you're expected to present your answers with thorough theorems. Going to her office hours doesn't help, she comes off as condescending. Forget using the practice problems to help with test or quizzes, she uses her own textbook she told us about 3 months into the class. AVOID taking her!
Prof is extremely disorganized, hard to follow during lecture and petty about small things like being late. Calls out students for mistakes they make on exams in front of entire class and is condescending when trying to ask for help. Told us that she was using a different textbook before the final which explained why nothing matched up in exams.
For the class that I had, she was a good teacher. She knows what she is talking about and explains concepts very well. Her accent is hard to understand especially for 2 hours. Her homework is slight and the tests are easy.
She was very nice and funny, although her lectures and notes werent very good
Worst professor I have ever had!!! Do not take this class. I read the comments about her and took the class anyways. That was the worst decision I have ever made. She makes the class harder then what it seems.
She's a great professor to take a simple class with, but she can be heavy handed on the grading. At the end of the semester she gave out donuts and replaced the worst exam grade with the best exam grade of the semester, so that shows she at least cares a bit. Overall, a cool professor; just be open with her and follow the syllabus.
first class i have ever failed, scarred for life. do not take unless you have strong math skills
Worst Professor ever, teaches her own version of math. Makes things seem harder than they are. Definitely would not recommend.
Worst Prof I've ever had. I'll still do well because I'm good at math but I'll be teaching everything to myself. She can't speak or write clearly. She's rude and loves to call students out. Please avoid her. I only got into her class because someone dropped it. Should of known that was a bad sign.
I love this woman. She was so kind and taught the material so well.
This professor is extremely condescending and very difficult to ask questions to. She knows the material but is very scripted in teaching it and can therefore have a hard time actually explaining. I would not have passed if I did not have previous calculus knowledge.
Be ready to teach yourself 90% of the material because she isn't the best at describing what and why she is doing anything.
Avoid at all costs, she can't teach for crap. Her accent is so thick and her notes on the board are super hard to read. The weekly quizzes don't help your learning or your grade out as well. Calc I isn't super hard but she makes it seem like it sometimes
I would rather die then have this woman as a prof again. DO NOT TAKE HER. she is rude, has a thick accent you can't understand and hates when you ask for clarification. There were questions on the final exam she did not teach us at all. The average grade on the final was an F, don't bark up this tree you will fail or do poorly in her class.
Ive always been a straight A student who works a ton on school, but I gotta say this class was the toughest one yet. Grading was hard and she definitely doesnt hesitate to take points off when she can. I think shes an average professor, not great but not terrible. I really had to work for my grade though.
Do not take her! She is not the best at explaining concepts. She often does problems and skips important solving steps that beginning learners need to know. She inconsiderate of her students' schedules, given that she did not understand the concept of a WEB class. She will take off points on your homework if it is not solved using her methods.
I was hoping when I take calc1 for the first time it would be with a teacher who doesnt have a very strong accent and a good handwriting skills and be able to teach the class without skipping steps or making your own rules. I found this class to be very difficult and I found it that I must be self taught if I want to pass. She never reads her mail
Hard to understand, bad notes, test are annoying.
Dr. Khurram seems to be having a hard time adjusting to the nature of online classes. She doesnt respond to emails, doesnt curve the tests, even though our class averages on the first two tests were a 57% and 68% , and she makes the tests synchronous, even though the class itself is asynchronous. Highly suggest taking somebody else.
To be honest this is the worst online semester ever. It only gets worse I have to teach my self calc1. Her handwriting is unreadable, its like a doctors signature note smh. She mumbles way to much and take her way to long to get words out of her mouth. She cant teach very well! Stay away from this teacher if you want a strong foundation in math!!
On a weekly basis she assigns 2-3 online assignments and 1 ws, which is too much. She grades so hard, if you dont do the problem exactly the way she teaches shell take away most of your points. She takes a long time to respond to her emails and is also condescending. Her notes are hard to follow and simply reads off the paper in her lectures.
Although she isnt a bad teacher, shes a notoriously horrible and strict grader. Her homework isnt that hard but the slightest mistake or any difference to how you do it compared to her methods will result in losing points. She is also a picky grader and can and will take points off for the smallest things, especially on tests.
DO NOT TAKE. It's hard enough we are online this semester, but her teaching did not make things any better. Tough grader and would get mad when you ask her to clarify or slow down.
I havent had a professor as bad as her, youll regret taking her within the first week of class. STAY AWAY! She is a very tough grader and will take off points for the smallest things. Her handwriting is horrible and she doesnt give clear feedback. Shell rush through sections and get mad at the class when we tell her to slow down.
Nothing too bad and nothing too good about her. Her slides were easy to understand, and there was homework due every week. She provided extra worksheets that weren't graded that she went over in class. To be honest, I didn't pay attention to her lectures and heavily relied on her slides and the book she "required".
Incredibly strict with her grading, the slightest mistake or difference from her answer key will get you 0 points - hardly gives partial credits. The material was not that hard but must read the textbook for her class. At times she would jump or skip sections, and also assumes students remember calc1 and calc2 off the top of their heads.
So much homework just so much. So much that its not even beneficial to ones learning. Avoid this professor unless you wanna do medium difficulty webassigns for the rest of the course. Personally, I truly learn when Im able to do the super hard problems in the textbook and ponder on them and try my best UNGRADED. Theres no time for that here.
During summer 21, there only 2 professors to take, so I chose Professor Alia. I didn't believe on the comments, but they were right. I was so scared about my grade before the first exam, and luckily I was able to switch to the other professor. Although I struggled a little with the second professor, she didn't gave much homework than alia.
she doesn't really help and tells you that you should drop the class.
dont take this class save yourself the mental trauma that evreryone that has taken this class has gone through. If you breathe more than 6 times in a minute its an F. if you dont remember every last detail from 1st to 12th grade, she'll tell you drop the class. she tells me to drop the class more than my mom tells me im adopted.
She's the type of prof that will insult you in front of the others for your faults in your exams. I've been insulted by previous Math teachers when I was in middle school because tbh I suck at math a lot, and this woman wasn't an exception. Lectures are the worst. Her accent was so heavy. I should have picked another prof.
trust me, I had her many sems ago and she will tell you to drop the class as no prof will tell you to do so. no wonder why she got so many low ratings here because every ratings are so true about her. she told me and other classmates to drop her class more than my mother did. I wish she would quit soon because not gonna lie, she was horrible.
shes the type of prof who will call you out about your test grade in front of the whole class. she would contradict herself constantly, she was very disorganized and confusing, and she always blames the students whenever she makes a mistake. Save yourself the trauma of taking her class.
One time she did a problem and the board and told us she did it wrong but didnt know what she did wrong. She is hard to follow when shes teaching.
Terrible professor. Insults students in front of the whole class. Tells students to drop the class many times. Assigns so much homework as if shes the class students are taking. Lectures are very unclear. Save yourself the trauma and register with a different professor.
The worst Math prof I've had. I want every prof to have a job and make money, so I always leave them good reviews, but this lady's an exception. She was so unclear with the materials, making everyone confused with this entire class. The huge amount of assignments released by her will indirectly tell you to drop the class!
Never take her. She is very unorganized. Way too much homework to be acceptable. Doesn't respond to emails. DO NOT TAKE HER IF YOU ARE A FRESHMAN! She is so confusing and she made my first semester of college STRESSFUL.
This statistics course content was not too hard, but what made it difficult was the amount of homework given and little feedback. Outside learning using other resources is vital, however, with effort, the class is not difficult to pass. Prof herself did an okay job lecturing, tests were online, and missing a class is a killer, so go each time.
great professor, her teaching in lectures is great and she gives many examples
Dr. Khurram is clearly knowledgeable about calculus but her class was very hard to learn in, and I only got an A because I watched several hours of YouTube videos to actually learn. She's picky about the methods you can use on the exam, and you can only use her way. She's hard to access outside of class and gives 3-4 assignments a week.
This course was very very difficult, we were normally assigned over 6/7 hours of lectures to watch every single week, on top of at least 5 homework assignments due on Sunday. This teacher was very rude to her students, telling them to drop the course multiple times if we were having trouble. The course material and lectures were very inaccessible.
Dont take this class. I took this class online and her writing is not legible at all. If you use a different method which you might since you have to teach yourself the course she will give you 0 points. She marks down for not capitalizing a letter on the test and she wants you to write the math a certain way or else its not correct for her.
Not once did she tell anyone to drop the class. Video lectures help sometimes but being forcibly present at the lectures helped learn most of the material. Exams were ok, she graded them specifically to her taste so copying her way of math helped a lot. Homework was insane with 2 different types, online and hand in. Stopped caring after week 9.
Her notes absolutely suck because there are no notes to go by. She is very unorganized and barely explains problems clearly. There is online homework and hand in homework. Super confusing. Will never take her again. I will have to learn calc all by myself.
This professor does not care. She gets upset with the class when they don't have any questions, but when students ask for clarity on them material, she freaks out about how we aren't understanding the material. You have 50min of the 1hr 45min class to take the exams. She also teaches new material the day of the exam right before you take it.
The professor believes that her class is your number 1 priority. The homework load is really difficult and it is hard to keep up. Very hard to explain the lectures and has a difficult time answering questions students have without getting irritated that a student doesn't understand what she just explained
Her teaching was all over the board; literally. She's terrible at responding to emails. She never responds. If she does, it takes her about a week. It wasn't until after the 2nd exam that she started to care and wanted to make sure we were understanding the material... Our 2nd exam was in late October. I would avoid her if you can.
I thought professor khurram was a decent professor, nothing like her rating makes her out to be, she can be rude at times and does give a lot of homework but there is always an extra credit problem on the exams and no quizzes. If u understand the material you will get an A. She grades heavily on work shown, so make sure to show a lot of work
Don't let my grade fool you, if you're good at math, you'll probably be alright, but if math is a struggle for you PLEASE take someone else. Class averages for tests were no higher than a 65. Many of my peers struggled severely and spent a lot of time outside of class teaching themselves the material.
No lesson plan, teaches off a pdf and skips information on it. Calc 3 is really easy tho watch Professor Leonard on youtube.
Do not take her. Calc 1 is not that hard when taught in a organized way, but she literally scribbles on the board and doesnt even finish her sentences before she goes to another concept. So rude when someone asks her a question. Be prepared to teach urself everything. Hw doesnt even help your grade bc of how she weighs her class. 3 exams and final
Gives no feedback, writes like a 2nd grader, does not explain any of her work. She needs to be fired. If you want to fail Calc take her class.
Extremely tough grader. Jumps all over the place during class and is pretty confusing. Claims in the syllabus you can have a certain number of absences and not lose credit, but your grade drops every time you miss a class. Take another prof if you can.
BELIEVE THE RATINGS. If you are thinking "Oh, no way she's that bad, I'll tough out the semester." She definitely is that bad. You'll be teaching yourself multivariable calculus. Lectures are examples from the textbook, where she usually does the algebra wrong. Her position at WSU needs to be re-evaluated. This site's word limit helps save her job.
Professor Khurram is a very tough grader. Example: if you get parts of a graph correct (ex: 12 points) but not the entire graph correct then she will give you like 4/12. She is a very nice lady and I understood the material from her lectures, but she gets algebra wrong a lot. Bottom line is, very unfair grader and expect to get 60%-70% on exams.
Terrible class, terrible teacher. She had very confusing lectures, and was a very harsh grader with her quizzes and tests. Do not take her, you will almost certainly fail.
Do not recommend this professor. She's very nice however jitters as she speaks. When it comes to explaining, she does not do a good job. Jumps from different topics. Only took this class cause the other classes were filled- the worst decision I ever made. She's nice but not a good teacher. *Elementary Stats 1020*
DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS! She will not finish problems on the board then go on to yell at students for not understanding new concepts. Very exam heavy, but she will curve the shit out of the exam to make sure you pass. If you take this class, you will learn everything from the textbook, then come to class for review, just don't expect much.
Class average on exams are 30%. Think about that. You didn't do the problem *perfectly*? Oh yea, that's a zero. But I got the right answer? Doesn't matter, she won't respond to a single email, still a zero. Okay but surely if I go to after hours I can get better insight to the exam? Wrong again, she lies about what's on the tests. Stay away
If you can teach yourself math, you'll live. But if not, DO NOT take this class. She does not teach very well, and teaching yourself math while balancing work for other classes will be stressful. I mostly just zoned her out during class and taught myself the material at home.
Dr. Khurram was one of the WORST professors I have ever had. Apart from the language barrier which is understandable, her behavior in class was completely inappropriate. During my course Dr.Khurram presented herself as though she was either intoxicated or under the influence of substances. Could not even remember most days what topic we were on.
She's one of the worst professors I've ever had. I hardly ever attend her classes because I learned less when I'm there vs when I teach myself. Her language barrier and constant topic jumping makes it hard enough. She'll make typos on tests, quizzes, and even on the test review. Please don't take this class if you have the option to take others.
Be prepared to teach yourself. YouTube will become your best friend. Something that takes her hours to teach can be learned through YouTube in less than 30 minutes. She tries to explain and she just digs the hole deeper.
The lectures were horrible but attendance counts towards your grade. All she'll do is confuse you and just make the topic harder. Whatever I did learn was through YouTube. This class will stress you out and take up a lot of time outside of class. Don't take her under any circumstances!!
One of, if not, the worst professors here. If able, DO NOT TAKE THIS COURSE. Lectures are a joke you barely learn anything but are required. Get ready to teach yourself everything, cause she certainly won't. She's impossible to understand and horrible at answering questions. Complains about student handwriting but produces chicken scratch herself.
Dr. Khurram is a very caring professor and will help you. Even though the class was difficult in the beginning, you get the hang of it. I was taught statistics a bit differently in high school and I think that's why it was hard at first. She is a great person and all you have to do is reach out to her if you're struggling, these reviews are sad.
If you have her, I wish you the best. I have never had a class this bad. You learn entirely on your own. She is disorganized. She does not answer emails, and if she does, she does not address the whole email. She changes deadlines after they pass. She is rude to students. She is a very confusing professor. Don't take her if you have the option.
knew it was going to be a crap show the moment I took the class when I saw the reviews. but I needed to due to time. She was god awful to hear or listen to half of the things she says are not comprehensible and the writing she would write is worse than a Doctor.. the only plus you can say is she doesn't pay attention during exams so ifykyk
DO NOT TAKE HER!!!!!!! I literally was so close to passing with a C, even though I had to teach myself every. single. thing. She is the worst. Never responds to emails and also will never help you. She's so confusing and does not explain anything.
if you have/had this professor, could you add my discord? I have questions user is o7.Rian
This class was supposed to be an easy gen ed but it probably stressed me out the most out of all my classes. I would have to show up in person once a week and it was such a waste of time. She would just drone on about the hw and didn't even teach anything worthwhile. The tests were weighted really heavy. Idk how I ended up passing.
Do not take this professor for the life of you. She will never respond to emails, give blatantly wrong information in lectures, consistently erase important modules in canvas, and create unreadable paragraphs full of typos whenever a response actually happens. You will not understand a word of what she's saying, even though the material is easy.
Tough grader, but the material can be learned through the textbook and tools like unstuckstudy. Attend class to understand concepts, but be prepared to put in extra work outside of it.
Worst professor I've ever had.
I'm decent at math so I didn't listen to any of these reviews. I regret that. You can barely understand her during class and her videos she uploads are useless. We are 1 month away from the semester ending and she just changed the grading policy to make tests weigh more. That made my grade drop 10%. Absolutely absurd professor. DONT TAKE THIS PROF.
This professor literally teaches nothing in class. The way she grades test is so annoying she knocks off points over the littlest things. I'm very good at math however this class you literally have to teach yourself because she will not teach you anything. Overall worst professor I have had so far. Attendance is also mandatory yet a waste of time
She changed the grading scale with 1 month left in the semester and didn't tell the class until it was the last day to withdraw from the course. Her videos you can barely hear/understand her and can't understand her in class as well. She doesn't respond to emails either.
Be prepared to teach yourself everything if you take this professor. I can't say I have learned a single thing from her directly, instead I've thought myself out of the book. She is almost impossible to understand during lecture aside from her accent. Don't waste your time with this class, genuinely.
She sent a reminder on April 2 that our test would be April 9. April 9 comes and she forgot it was test day. She didn't have the tests/exams and now we have to push it back another week which also pushes back our replacement exam. We will have to come in on a time that she picks AFTER the last day of classes to do the replacement exam. UNORGANIZED
This is the worst teacher I have ever had. If you have the option, don't take her. Her course claims to be hybrid, but it really isn't. Lecture attendance goes towards your grade. She doesn't answer emails and her online classroom is disorganized and confusing. There is also a language barrier so she is hard to understand during her lessons.
Its the night before the final and we all just found out that she didn't teach us a whole core chapter...I HATE THIS PROFESSOR DO NOT TAKE HER
I am writing this the night before the final I regret taking this professor PLSS dont take her waste of time energy and money. Everytime i went to class it felt like a waste of time i could not hear her not even understand what she was writing on the board. The knowledge I carry with me tomorrow is thanks to chatgpt and the organic chemistry tutor.
Do NOT take any cost. Don't think you'll somehow do differently than the reviews. This professor will have you suffering for things you did in a past life. DO NOT TAKE!!
Course claims to be hybrid but isn't. Doesn't even teach anything effectively in class. Videos that she posts don't even make sense. Has an accent and is hard to understand. Doesn't reply to emails ever. Very test heavy.
Its actually incredible how terrible she is at her job. During lectures, she will either ramble on about stuff that doesn't make sense and give no time for the quiz at the end or just straight up not teach at all. Her online notes and videos aren't any help either. If you're gonna take this class, get ready to do A LOT of self teaching.
Never ever ever ever in my LIFE have I had such a horrible teacher. At this point I'm just going to apply to be a professor since Wayne State just hires anyone. I understand that Stats is a tough class, but she just makes it so unpleasant. She is horrible at teaching, cannot hear nor understand her due to thick accent. SAFE YOURSELF RUNNNNNNNNNNNNN
Has Parkinson's Disease.
She has Parkinson's disease.
Do NOT take this class. Save yourself and gpa. Has Parkinson's disease and was not in class for an entire month and expected us to do good on the exams.
It is absolutely unacceptable that Wayne State continues to allow this professor to sink student's GPA and have to shell out money for retakes year after year. Nobody should have to deal with this amount of stress and lack of transparency for Gen Ed credits. Avoid her. If you're an exceptional math student who can teach themselves, you'll be ok.
Wayne State needs to seriously get rid of this professor. She has Parkinson's, not understandable due to thick accent, bad handwriting, unorganized, and if you get answers correct on exams but the work is “wrong,” good luck trying to get points back. Have fun teaching yourself and being stressed all semester long, 0/10 recommend.
please just don't.
