Dr. Ferron-Gabriele was a great professor. she was lecture heavy, but made it easy to follow along and gave the students access to the PowerPoints to follow along with her lectures. she gave lots of opportunities for extra credit, and was flexible with your needs and stumbling blocks. definitely would take her again !!

She's the BEST professor I have ever had. Very intelligent, respectful, and passionate about her subject. Gives excellent and memorable lectures and gives out plenty of extra credit opportunities. Participation matters but it is an easy daily grade. She does not hand out 100s so it makes you feel very smart when you get them. Take this class!

Dr. Ferron is AMAZING, I loved her as a professor!! Just do your work and participate and you will do great. She is very understanding and will help you so much with whatever you are struggling on. She is also very organizing and grades fast. I took her class my first semester and this was my second semester having her. Once again she's AMAZING!

Hands down the best professor I have ever had. If you get the chance to take her, do it! The workload is super manageable. You would have to TRY to fail this class it was so easy. She teaches in a way that has taught my things I will never forget.

Professor F. is just great. She is so enthusiastic about this lesson that it made me care about it, and it just made it better for me. I wholeheartedly recommend her. She has quizzes due every day, although they are quite simple. There are no tests, but there are essays.

I took a 6 week online history course with Dr. Ferron and it was not bad at all. There were a lot of assignments to do since it's a 6 week course, but it wasn't very difficult. She gave one project and 4 essays throughout the course and the essays were extremely easy. The project was super easy to get a 100 and was pretty fun. I'd take her again!

She was by far one of my favorite Professors online! There are no exams. 3 essays, Project, 24 DP, 12-13 quizzes 4th essay is the final and offers 2 extra credit tasks. It's a lot of R/L. Her quizzes are based on her lectures, FAST responder to emails which I appreciated! Your grade depends on you! Wouldn't recommend if you work full time.

I love Dr. Ferron she is very organized on her online courses. It is up to you if you pass or fail as long as you turn in assignments you'll be fine.

Dr. F is a great professor! truly! she made hist1301 very fun and easy to learn. She will set you up for success because she wants to see all her students do good. She will help you and is very understanding. I would recommend her if you hate history because it will be a breeze! I took the 5-week class so it was a bit packed but very doable still!

awesome professor!! hist 1301 was super chill for the 5 week version. definitely go with her. you have 3 essays and 1 paper due and a fun video project that dont take much time at all. all i wanted was to pass this class and i ended up getting an A. definitely Dr. ferron is a great choice for this course, SO glad i stuck with her.

Her quizzes are timed of 10 min in 10 questions. At first it got me overwhelmed and it kinda forces you to remember the 30-1 hour lecture but if you take great notes then the quizzes aren't too hard. The essays are straightforward as long as you follow the prompt. She was very kind and she made history fun, especially if your a fan of history.

Prof Ferron is one of my most treasured professors! She is so passionate and knowledgeable and knows how to make history more digestible and interesting. She is inspiring and super smart. As long as you keep up with readings, and lectures and do the projects, you'll pass great. She is also great with communication, and very sweet

100% reccomend taking Dr. Ferrons class. She was very engaging and provided very helpful feedback to everything we turned in. The class itself was composed of unit essays and a combination of 1 quiz and 2 discussion posts per topic.

Honestly one of the best professors I have had. Super engaging lectures and all grading is extremely fair and excellent feedback is provided. Some units had quick turn around times but the work is extremely easy as long as you put your effort into it. Highly recommend!

I wish every professor was like this! You could tell her whole heart was put into everything so the class was engaging (I normally hate history class.) I took the 6 week course and it was a LOT of work but I got an A. The books we had to use weren't boring textbooks, they were actually interesting. Take this class!

Very clear and organised D2L, and quick email responses. The material covered is very interesting, and is thoroughly covered by the discussions and projects in the course, which immensely help for unit essays; additionally, the lectures are enjoyable and engaging. Would love to take another of Dr. Ferron's courses, she is an wonderful professor.

Took her online class. She has everything on the board already. She is very responsive and the class is so easy. She has recorded lectures, requires 2 books to read and respond on D2L every few days with an easy quiz, a source paper, 3 Unit essays, and 1 presentation/ slideshow. No tests. Easy grader, I don't think you can fail. Fast grader.

Dr. Ferron was an incredibly good professor. She made the lectures fun and easy to understand. She also posted recorded lectures in case you missed class or wanted to study. She gave ample opportunities for extra credit on exams. Multiple choice sections on the exams were a little tricky, but she graded very easily on all the essays we turned in.

Dr. F really knows what she's doing! I did take this class over the 6 week session so it was pretty difficult. However, Dr. F sets you up for success. As long as you watch the lectures and read the assigned readings, you will do well in this class. The hardest part about the class were the essays but she gives you tips for success when writing them

She is an amazing professor. I took her online and online she did daily or weekly pop quizzes and she had very interesting lectures. The essays are based of lectures and she answers emails or remindme in a timely manner.

If I could only use three words to describe Dr. Ferron, it would be "Raise Your Game". If your in college not ready to learn, don't take her class. If you came to college to learn, then Dr. Ferron is your teacher. Her enthusiasm, intellect, and willingness to help students is unmatched. She wants the best from and for her students.

Do not mistake this as an easy class. It will take a lot of time, esp for the essays. She does grade pretty harsh but she means well with it. My best advice is to finish the essays early and send them to her days before the due date, as she is always open to give feedback. She is very sweet!!

The class is very hard but it isn't very easy either. I love how she teaches. I never thought I would enjoy taking a history class until I took her class.

Generally, there was one unit per day (2 readings, 2 discussion posts, and 1 quiz) but they are not difficult! Would definitely take her class again.

She has different projects, and you have to write unit essays, so it is not a class for people who don't like to work. I took her for both History 1301 and 1302 and loved her.

Her entire class she made all the readings and materials accessible, and the information easy to process and remember. She offered 1 on 1 meetings to discuss grades and essays, and offered corrections which helped reflect our improvement throughout the course.

Learned SOOO much from her in this class. Easy A if you do the assignments and participate in class. Also ensures a relaxed, inclusive atmosphere. Would love to take her again, but alas, not in my major.

Dr. ferron is an amazing professor and a great person! I've taken two History courses with her and she was awesome both times. She is very easy if your strength is writing, and even if it isn't she is very helpful and will read rough drafts. I highly recommend her.

Took this as a 5-week class, so obviously the courseload was a lot, but still manageable. Got to learn a lot of genuinely interesting information about history. It's a good amount of reading, but all assignments are discussions, essays, short quizzes, and one presentation. She was a great professor and had very clear guidelines and easy to follow.

She changed my perspective on so many things. It's writing heavy and also listening to her awesome lectures. 1000% recommend.

I loved Dr. F's class!!! i could not recommend her enough. Her lectures are funny and easy to follow. She's clear on what she's looking for but still comes across as very easy to talk to. You HAVE to take her class. the lowest 3 discussion get dropped; the essays are easy to pass. This is the best prof i've had!!!
