*Stood at the overhead erasing all the mistakes she was making while trying to teach the class how to do it.*Graded tests hard*very unclear*wouldn't recommend anyone taking her!

Was difficult to follow. Had students obtain assignments from various places or websites.Does not review test taken prior to retakes. Did not appear motivated.Appeared to have personal problems affect her teaching. Moody!

Gives you the work and expects you to know how to do it or she will explain once and then your on your own...good luck.

She is the most horrible teacher I have ever had! She is irresponsible,she loses grades and takes forever on her grading. I did not like her teaching style she would go over it once and expect you to know how to do it! All the work was online. We never used the book. If you are not good in math i would highly reccomend a different teacher.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!! completely unfair, says she will email you for extra credit but then fails to send emails. Workshops are useless for her class. very unfair and unorganized and seems to have that "I get paid whether you learn or not" attitude. Obviously signs on to this site to write good comments about herself!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Great Person, Her teachings were Hard to understand you might as well go home and learn it your self. She give you lots of ways to pass the class but you have to work for it. Other wise you will drown in her class. Go to class because if you miss a day you miss a lot of stuff thats ends up on a test. But nice teacher. Caution.

HORRIBLE TEACHER WOULD NOT RECOMEND TO ANYONE. TURNS OUT SHE WASNT EVEN TEACHING THE CLASS THE PROPPER WAY TO SOLVE A ALGEBRA PROBLEM. DOES NOT FOLLOW THOUGH WITH WHAT SHE SAYS AND IS VERY CONFUSING. IF YOU WANNA SPEND ALL YOUR TIME DOING HOMEWORK DEFFENTLY THE CLASS FOR YOU.

This is the most horrible teacher i have encountered! She is always out, we always have subs who just get me even more confused. She totally does not know her math and ofcourse does not explain it well. She takes forever to give you back your grades and all the homework is online! If i wanted an online course I would have signed up for it duh!

DONT TAKE HER CLASS!! First of all, she doesn't give you a syllubus, her office hours nor when she is availible. All her work is online, so you need to check everday to see what is due and how much. I asked for her help, she told me to go to the math lab, went to mab lab and no help there.

Math 1332-took class online She does not answer emails in a timely manner or not at all. Seems very harsh, cold and inconsiderate. Do not take her! I took her even though i saw how low ppl rated her I even asked her if she could drop me since i live 2 hours away and she gave me an "F"

Does not know how to grade at all. Teaches at HER pace and when you need her to show you another example she will tell you to look on course compass. I SERIOUSLY would not recommand her at all!

This is by far the worst online professor ever. She does not respond to emails or phone calls. She didnt even assign anything for a week then assigned two practice tests 3 homework assignments and a test all within a week. I think she has no business teaching.

I took her for an online course contemperary math. OMG, all negative ratings sum her up. assigns work at her pase, elitist does not teach, only assigns unresonable amount of work, responds to emails with attitude designed to make you feel inferour, turns in grades at last moment. suprised she still has job, only wants to collect paycheck

This teacher was hard to understand, she didn't teach she expects you to already know how to do problems. She will assign a test and 3 homework assignments on a Fri and expect you to do them by Sun at midnight. She is always late to class and seems like she doesn't care at all.I do not recommend this teacher.

If you are going to take this class and if you have trouble with math, then be prepared to be confused. She's unorganized, doesn't update grades until the last moment, rude attitude sometimes, and rarely responds to email. Around 70% of the class did poorly. Unless your really good in Math, I would not recommended this teacher.

Horrible class! Relies entirely on the computer program, takes forever to respond back if ever, doesn't bother to help you for extra credit, unorganized, confusing and most of all Completely Rude talks beneath you, if you miss an assignment to bad she wont/ too lazy to help you, would never take her class again.

She is a horrible teacher she does not write back, I just battled with homework being due the next day and she blocked everyone from doing the homework until the day b4... worthless teacher... I would NEVER take her again!!

She is the worst don't take her, unless you like being teached by an uninteractive robot. She's never there and when she just expects you to know everything and piles home work on you like no tomorrow She should just retire Don't take this class !!

Please read all comments. DO NOT TAKE HER!!! she works just because she has to. But she gives a lot of homework with no lectures. All that she does, rely on external sources. My gpa is going down because of her :( and I tried so hard to pass. Studied my as off for nothing. not organized, and she won't even care about the students.

I would never recommend this instructor even if I was offered payment. She was very disorganized and unhelpful when I mentioned I was struggling. She failed to provide assignments with accurate deadlines in Canvas. Her grading took forever and still she failed to grade the scratch work I turned in when I went on campus to take my exams. Avoid!!!

This Professor is awful. She missed so much class and we had subs every other day. she was constantly asking students for help and numerous times would try and figure out an answer to a problem, just for it to be wrong. I will never take her again nor would I recommend her to anyone. Get out while you have a chance.

terrible. broken assignment links, unclear due dates, poor communication, lots of back and forth with due dates, not helpful, just no.

at first she seemed like a really understanding teacher ad she was very helpful, but then I had a death within my family, someone very close, and when I emailed her to inform her that I might not have been able to do a few assignments due to the family matter , she was not helpful at all

Does not provide clear instruction and emails have a rude tone. Also, be prepared to read them a couple times to figure out what she is asking for. No excuses and class requires 120% dedication if you want to pass. Oh and the tests are not multiple choice, you are just provided with a line and hope that you get it right.

Professor is really horrible about details and matching due dates with syllabus to coincide with My Math Lab. Never answers her phone when you call, does not care about your academic learning, professor is really difficult to understand, uses YouTube videos to teach math, take this course on campus with another professor. Waste of time.

DON'T TAKE!! Mrs. Lawson-Johnson was a horrible teacher. If you asked for help she wouldn't help you shes say look on Youtube, If you messaged her she would never reply. She made you feel so stupid. She would also put assignments up on the due dates. She would lock assignments before you could even do them she was very unorganized! DONT DO IT!!!!!!

This is by far the worse professor I've ever had. She truly doesn't care about her students. She is always adding new assignments in after they are due and setting the due date for past due blaming it on Mathlab and Canvas not merging together. She is not clear at all on her grading policy. She is quick to change things last minute.

DO NOT TAKE! Her messages could be very hostile, she had a habit of comparing our grades to lottery tickets, grades are not something I'd like to gamble with. We had a very unexpected loss in the family and I was unable to take an exam and a canvas orintaion, which she has made mandatory for her class, she refused to let me take it that Monday

I took this class for Summer Session 2 and I was advised by several Peer Advisors that this would be a good and easy class to take during summer to complete my degree. Boy were they fudging wrong. This class is the worst class to take, the professor wouldn't let us use a calculator, the homework literally took more than 4 hours to do. Fudge :(

The entire class failed this course and so many people had issues with it. Some even only had this class left to finish before they were suppose to graduate all the way. She rarely responded to messages and if she did respond she wouldn't give you a full answer or you had to go watch it online. There is NO EXTRA CREDIT. If you fail, you fail.

This is by far one of the worst classes I've ever taken. I can do the assignments in MML just fine but the amount of unnecessary apps and functions needed for this course is ridiculous and the prof can't guide us through anything. Don't take this class if you know what's good for you.

This is absolutely the worst math professor and online class I have ever had the misfortune to take. The instructor is severely disorganized, lacks responsible feedback time, is unclear with instruction, posts new assignments on the due date, is constantly changing the grading criteria, broken links and condescending attitude. Don't do it!

I signed up for her class twice, the first time i took her class it was very hard to understand her, she spoke very low and the way she explained things it was weird. she would forget she assigned us certain things and confuse us about the assignments we had to do.

DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS i took her online and she did not provide any kind of guidance or review for assignments or tests. when wee had to take a test if anyone talked to you during it she would give a zero. i do not recommend her

Dont take classes with this instructor. Her instructions are vague, shes rude and totally dramatic. She doesnt read your emails correctly and responds with nonsense. I dropped her class within the week. The same assignment had 3 yes 3 different due dates. If youre taking online class BEWARE assignments are added with next day due date.

I found Lawson-Johnson to be incompetent. I don't have any complaints regarding the amount of homework she had but my biggest complaint was her complicated enrolling process to where she had to refer me to someone else, her vague rules and lack of guidance as well as occasionally she'd give the wrong access code to her tests. Do not take her class.

I would definitely ever recommend her as a College Professor. Good person, however, with little or no professional posture whatsoever. "Threatening" students to either commit on time or "regardless of the excuse, I will drop you", unprofessional and unnecessary. Professors are to motivate, to set examples and be the master of their functions.

The most unprofessional professor you will ever come across. Her directions are never clear and WILL NOT take the time to help you better understand. Her ideal of help is telling to google it or you-tube, and occasionally she might send a you-tube video to you. BEWARE of online course, tests are posted last minute with same day due date.

TERRIBLE. She is NOT organized and posts tests and assignments last minute. There were several occasions that tests were not available because her passwords to the test s didn't work. I would NOT recommend this instructor if you can avoid it. She counts everything against you, even if it's her fault you can't access the assignment.

Professor Lawson-Johnson is terrible at communication and is not a very good professor. If you are not good at math already, DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!! I would say only take this course if math comes naturally to you, but if not do not take this class. She is also the PICKIEST grader and does not tell you what she wants.

Prof. Lawson-Johnson seems like a good person, but as a professor I feel like she could definitely use improvement. I took her online summer course and dropped after two weeks of asking for help, tips, and other resources, in which she was not at all helpful. I would not recommend taking this class to anybody at all via online.

If you don't have money for a full-time math tutor or the time to go all the way to Palo Alto and visit with her for 15 minutes, maybe this isn't for you dawg.

Communication is horrible and unclear. Her assignments on Canvas have barely any necessary info. Doesn't really even know how to use Canvas. Hard to figure out what is needed and MyMathLab will ask questions about things it didn't teach. Genuinely one of the worst classes I've ever taken. Can also be somewhat passive aggressive, too.

She does not clarify enough. She made it so difficult to take a test. Instead just making it simple to open test. We have to put a code. She makes it so difficult! She did not want to help. She always said, "READ INSTRUCTIONS".

Very disorganized and difficult to go to for help. She forgets to unlock the modules and it results in either having a missing assignment or shortened amounts of time to complete the assignments. The tests can be vague and sometimes don't have the information to actually answer the questions. Be prepared to lose out on a lot of points.

Very disorganized. She rarely responds to emails and questions. Tested us on topics we did not go over. The notes of powerpoint she provides were unhelpful because you could not see the process from the question to answer and she was unwilling to help. I would recommend not taking this instructor.

This professor is HORRIBLE!!! She does not teach anything!!! she uses online videos to teach the subject. Takes so long to respond to any emails asking for help. Syllabus was incorrect and decided 1 day before our final to make us take another test. Did not list when tests were due so if you do not check the site daily you miss assignments or tests

Not responsive. Does not give enough instruction. Constantly unorganized which makes it nearly impossible to prepare for tests or pass them!

By far the WORST professor I have ever had. She is extremely disorganized. She takes forever to reply to e-mails and forces students to download an App to communicate with her. She is NO help. When you do ask her for help, she replies with an attitude and in a passive aggressive manner. She will forget to unlock material and expect it done. Easy F!

THE WORST PROFESSOR IVE EVER HAD! I had anxiety the entire semester. Her lectures weren't interactive, she wasn't organized and had a BAD ATTITUDE. She also said and I quote "Yall should be taking advantage of COVID to succeed in this course." LIKE WHAT? how is this pandemic an advantage? I have no job and have to teach the material myself.

Would not take her again, shes a tough grader and her lectures are very passed paced. Skips over long / harder examples and expects you to know them.

Disorganized. Would post assignments at last minute. Would move up due dates with no notice. Some of the grading took weeks. Dates on syllabus frequently changed.

WORST PROFESSOR EVER! Do yourself a favor and do not take her class. This class stressed me out the whole semester, she will NOT help you out. I can not believe she was allowed to work there
