Prof Reagan is a good, easy prof. No need for the text book as long as you take notes. The Source book is DEF need. As long as you show up to class and take notes, its an easy A. 4 papers short 1-2 page papers, and 3 test is all of your work. A+!

For history 121 there are 5 papers, each 5% of your grade. 3 exams, I think the first one is 15% and the second two are 20%. Then 10% is participation, the other 10% quizzes. Awesome prof! Very easy

I took a semester of history with her back in 2000 (I just now found out about this site) and it was a very enjoyable experience. Her lectures bring history to life with a perspective and humor that keeps you interested and entertained at the same time. Most importantly, her style helps you remember what you learn.

Expect a great grade if you take notes, follow the slide presentations, and listen well. Accomplish the writing assignments, the extra credit work, and do well on the tests. Don't expect to get a lot of questions in during the shortened classes (summer/8 week). Recommend!

Civil War and Reconstruction was fascinating! Essay exams were challenging. Hard to get A but not hard to pass. I was very ignorant about the topic before this class. So much of what we deal with today politically began then. Highly Recommended!

I took her for 101 after being recommended to her by several people. She's fairly easy. She does do weekly quizzes but they are only 10 questions. She lectures off power points in which she posts on blackboard. The exams are written so you do have to study for them. And there are 4 papers but there only 1-2 pages about the topic given.

Everything is laid out in the syllabus, which she does not change and sticks to so you shouldn't get confused about anything. She'll ask you essay questions that are in the book, but you can just look to see what the questions are from someone elses book and save your $80.I had two essays (2 pg), multiple choice quizzes each week, and two tests(content in test given ahead of time.)

Only needed one HIS course for my science degree, glad I took Women in American History with this professor. Easy and interesting. Only (small) gripe: she doesn't give 100% on tests, which is silly to make unattainable when grading on a 100 point system. Highest grade you can get in this course is 98%, which is pretty easy to get.

Let me tell you something--I took 2 sem. with Alice TWENTY years ago. She was amazing. This was back in the day when Alice wrote a brief outline with CHALK, told an awesome story, and we took notes BY HAND. I majored in history, got a Masters of Ed, and taught history for 10 years. Because of Alice. Now I deliver babies but that's another story.

Easy class, but she has a big attitude. Don't say something she doesn't like or she'll get mad. There's a special needs kid in the class and when he asks questions she gets mad at him and proceeds to talk bad about him and call him "annoying" once he's gone. Can be unprofessional at times but overall easy class and moderate grader. Just show up.

I have taken Prof Reagan before and she is probably the best you can get at NOVA. Assigns 4 3-5 paragraphs essays and has 3-4 exams that consist of IDs and an essay. The exam is literally given to study from the class before so it is extremely easy. She uploads PowerPoints beforehand so you can print those out and use them for notes.

She has to be the best professor at NOVA, hands down. Her explanations makes History a BREEZEEE. Take her at all costs. No cumulative exam. Only weekly quizzes. She gives you the study guide (which is the actual exam and asks you to prepare accordingly). Easiest A you can get in the history of your undergrad, that's for sure.

She was very nice and her lectures sometimes were cut short if she speeds through the slides. For the exams, she gave a study sheet of everything that would be on the test. It's just the matter of showing up turning in work and doing what she asked. All her work were easy.

Professor Reagan is definitely a character. This class was very easy-3 exams which all had study sheets provided and 4 extremely short papers. There are 4 papers you need to do, but they're from the textbook (usually only time you would use the textbook). You have 6 out of 4 papers to do, i would recommend doing the first 4 so you're not doing them all last minute. Tests are super easy she gives a study guide showing you what will be on it. And there are quizzes done online every week.

If your looking for an easy A, that this professor! There are quizes after every lecture but the answers are in PP, six papers but you only have to do 4, and 2-3 exams. Exams are short answers, but she gives you the questons in advanced. If you're looking for a challenge, this might not be the profesor or you.

I took professor Reagan for the second part of U.S. History for 16 weeks. Overall, I got receive 8 quizzes online, 4 very easy papers, and like 3 exam (including final). She's lecture heavy and plays videos which can get really boing if you take her in the morning. You don't really need to read the textbook because lecture is enough if you listen.

I am the worst person in History but this class was super easy. Professor Reagan teaches the material well and in an understandable way. There are no surprises she tells you exactly what she needs from you. There are 3 papers due and it's only about 3 pages and 3 exams. Super easy. Take her

Everything that comes up on her quizzes and exams is taught in class. No surprises. The study sheets are key. Exactly what will be on the exam. 4 short papers from writing prompts and three exams. Exams have 5 term IDs and short essay. As long as you complete the assignments, you should get an A. She will read drafts - no late papers.

Professor Reagan is rather average when it comes to teaching: she plays a lot of videos and assigns a quiz for homework almost every class. That being said, she manages to make the curriculum extremely easy to understand. As long as you read the directions and do your best work on all assignments, you'll do great in her class.

Took her last semester had virtual class. Make sure to participate in class discussion to get a decent grade. Overall she prepares you for it. There are only four papers to write throughout the semester which is all based on what you read. Take it if you want to learn and get EASY A.

Professor Reagan mostly grades on 3 papers and 3 tests. She is not a harsh grader, if you attend classes you will be able to pass the test and do well on the essays. Very lecture heavy and can get a little boring but it isn't difficult. Professor Reagan also is understanding as long as you attend class and communicate.

Class is basically just story time. Tests and quizzes are open notes. Professor Reagan allows you to learn a lot without putting in a ton of time for the course. You will have to ask questions during virtual classes to get credit for participation.

Professor Reagan was one of the best professors at NOVA for history. Her quizzes are open notes. All her tests are open notes too. She has essays very week too. Also we had a wide variety of discussions topics related to history and about the world too.

Professor Reagan is a solid history teacher. Her classes are lecture-heavy but she makes the material engaging. Quizzes and papers are manageable if you stay on top of the readings. unstuckstudy was super helpful for exam prep.
